Mcdonald's Restaurant in Dartford

Situated within the Bluewater shopping centre near Greenhithe, Kent. Shares a large food court with other dining outlets. Masses of seating with some outdoor seating when the weather allows. Mostly automated using touch screens which is ok if you are au fait with them. McDonald's are efficient so food was quick to come up and was hot. Not bad flat white coffee, a little bitter but ok. I claimed a free sausage and egg McMuffin from points accrued on thee McDonald's app. It's free to download and you'll receive offers from time to time too. Staff were polite, robotic but can you blame them.The area was clean and tidy.

As McDonald’s go, only bought a Chocolate milkshake for my friend which she enjoyed…

This place is an absolute joke. Waiting for long time for wrong order and the female manager was extremely unhelpful, snobby and rude👎👎👎👎👎

Truly the worst of the worst McDonald's stores; always wait forever for your food. To make it worse, what's the point of showing us customers a screen that says your order is being prepared or ready to collect when they always just immediately wipe our order numbers off the screen ten minutes before we get the food??

Food was poorly packed and there was grease all over, also the SSK machine was out off receipts and I told a staff member this and she seemed uninterested. It was dead quiet so there was no excuse for any of this

Food was luke warm, should have gone elsewhere

Touchscreens never print receipts or give you a number. On Friday night the manager was shouting and laughing at the back with other employees as other employees were preparing food. He was acting like a child in school in front of all the customers.

Terrible after waiting for eternity the complete wrong order comes out only then to be shouted to listen by manager this is why it was not buisy atal staff cannot speek English and serve you what they feel like

I went to get breakfast at 11:02, but they weren't serving it anymore. If they can pretend their burgers are 100% beef they can pretend it's still before 11am. Sue me, Ronald.

One of the busiest McDonald's you'll find. Not enough screens to do self orders so it's normally a queue to order and then a another queue/ wait for the food

Very disappointed with service visited last year was hoping that the service had improved but as at previous time understaffed cannot recommend visiting will not be visiting again and will be sending a complaint, management need to ensure that restaurant is properly staffed especially as it is Christmas

Drive through....in and out double quick

Food was 10/10, gets crazy when crowned but manageable while standing in the queue to use the order machine

Just went with 13 kids, pre ordered the food half hour in advance and went back at agreed time and everything was perfect, Manager on duty was superb at sorting it all out and all food was present and correct and ready at the same time even though they were so busy, thank you so much!!!

It was ok, the same as usual, nothing to complain or feel great about it.

A shameful experience A total free for all! I ordered in advance on the app customising some of the products (I don’t know why I bothered, because it was delivered as standard). I thought there was going to be a riot as order numbers were being shouted out for collection. This is 2023! Surely you can use some sort of technology rather than treat us like we are boarding an aircraft! You should be ashamed !

The food was cold and the service was very slow

Fast and prompt service once ordered. Annoying that we couldn’t order the normal menu before 11am just to process the order as for their timing system. Touch screens help speed up service.

Absolute chaos, way too many people. The position of the touch screen ordering terminals meant the queue fed back into the lines for KFC and beyond. No one knew which queue was for which restaurant. Avoid at peak times!

Usuall Macdonald's food,but very very busy

It was bedlam, no proper queueing system to use the order panels, no proper waiting area for your luke warm burgers, nobody willing to man the cash till, no ventilation to cool customers down. To be honest, with all the other lovely looking healthy food options available before you reach McDonald's, I'm always wondering why people prefer to suffer the McDonald's queue and expensive food in preference.......🤔 Only bought a fizzy pop there, it took nearly a fortnight!!!

Huge queue, you have to use the electronic ordering then wait and the wait seems very unorganised. Good was hot and tasty.

Terrible. Portion size is absolutely tiny these days. It's beyond a joke. Quality is poor, service is slow. We are idiots for putting up with it. Breakfast muffins are often smaller than my wrist watch. It's not cheap, it's not fast, it's not good. I am NOT loving it

The food here is okay at best - my McMuffin was lacklustre, but in my wife's one, there was shell in the egg round The service was slower than it should have been for what was not a busy time and some of the ordering screens were not working This is in the food court area, but if the weather permits, the outdoor seating area down the stairs is much much nicer All in all, there are much better options for a quick bite around Bluewater, but this was cheap, cheerful and (should have been) quick

Doesn't meet the usual McDonald's standard quality. Fries are rarely well cooked and burgers are much drier than what you normally get at McD. It's not rare for your token number to be missed and staff just asks you to keep waiting. The only pro is that this is the cheapest place to eat in Bluewater, but at significant compromise in quality of food and service.

Waited 15 minutes for a McFlurry. Turns out it was sitting on the side for the whole of that time. Was melted when I got it. Disappointing

Part of a massive did court so no issues with seating. Food is quick however there is no option to bring food to your table

What can I say.. it was McDonald's, albeit a very clean one being it was at Bluewater. But my granddaughter said her burger was OK. Staff were pleasant and service was quick as you would expect.

Takes a while for the fopd to be served. If it isn't very hisy the fries are often not very fresh.

I bought a cheese burger, a BigMac meal and a chicken burger. The 2 person eating cheese burger and BigMac are still having diarrhea,starting straight after eating the burgers. These 2 have the same type of meat,the one eating the chicken had no problem. The chips were horrible, cold and oldWhile we were waiting for the food,I could see in the kitchen,the stuff was rushing all around,but my main concern was that they were not wearing gloves at all. I'm pretty sure I'm other McDonald's I've seen the staff preparing the burgers in gloves. Anyway, we are still suffering since then, and after this experience we will avoid the whole chain, this one was enough...

Definitely one of the worst Mc D's I have been in. The coffee was as expected, but everything else was very poor. The staff were overrun and even gave me the wrong drink. There was no apology just a sullen look. Really not up to scratch.

I had a birthday party in Build-the-Bear and organised the food from McDonalds. The staff (Linda? excuse me if I do not remember the right name) and management were helpful with a big order, stickers on the Happy meals. It was stressed free and helped me with logistics between the workshop and Mcdonalds. They even brought the big order to the floor. I understand how busy it gets on Saturdays, so massive thank you to all the staff that worked on 21 September.

I visited Bluewater McDonalds on Monday 2nd September and it was absolute chaos. The staff cant keep up with the amount of orders coming through the self-order screen system. They had to close McDonalds off until the crowds had gone. It was awful. What was wrong with someone taking your order, getting your food, then serving the next person? It wasn't really the staff's fault (although some were a bit slow), but the system. Wont be coming back to this McDonalds again, it was nightmare.

order meal on the screen there wasn't many people there at all and the staff were waiting for fries to be cooked and overheard a team leader say that 10 mins it to long to be waiting for fries to be cooked when our order was finally ready it was lukewarm as they had put it under the lamp to keep it hot and member of staff that served us was rude to my daughter as we had ordered extra sauces to go with our meal to be told that the sauce is just on your left .put the strawberry lemonade drink that my daughter ordered was already half slushy and she said that it didn't taste very nice even though she has had it before this is one macdonalds i will avoid going to .service too slow rude staff

Stopped here for a juice and fries, although the queue was small and I used the screen to order there was a wait of five minutes for my order. Slammed down on the counter and lukewarm - obviously a five minute wait is needed to allow the food to cool down .

Spent 50 minutes waiting for burger, chips and tea yesterday around 14.00, along with many other customers. The restaurant was completely overloaded and eventually had to shut to clear the backlog. The staff were doing their best to be helpful but all anyone wanted was the correct food. As a final insult the burger and chips were not good.

When called to collect my food all I could hear was ‘chelsea’ being rude about other staff. Thought it was completely unprofessional and inappropriate as I was accompanied by a young child whom I did now want to overhear the type of language she was using. Not impressed.

I went to Mcdonald’s Bluewater at 7/4/19 when they had paper straws. They practically melted in your mouth and were extremely uncomfortable to use. Please upgrade to bio-degradable plastic straws instead of the paper ones.

Well where do I start from the minute we started to queue we had a bad feeling. Standing in the queue noticed a lady queue jump past several people in front not a good start. Finally got to order breakfast after 15 mins ! Staff really dont want to be there they appear sullen & miserable and lacking direction from the manageress who only seemed to moan at her staff. Finally got order after another 10-15mins. Food okay its just the organisation of this establishment really needs to get a grip. Would I return probably not.

We have been to McDonald’s all over the world in our travels and McDonald’s are the only takeaway burger I will eat. Today we went to Bluewater shopping Centre and the burger was the worst McDonald’s we have every eaten. We were at the shopping centre for a specific reason and so decided to eat about 11.40am but already the queues were very long and although there was a section for preordered there wasn’t a machine to order. The cashier obviously didn’t want to be there. Fries were ok but not salted but salt was served separately, they didn’t tell you!! Also no serviettes and workstation messy. Will still go to McDonald’s but possibly not this one

OMG, this place is heaving every weekend, queues are horrendous and the food sometimes comes to you cold. Fries are at times soggy and the milkshakes are becoming powdery/watery. Not a fan of mcdonalds, rather pay more for quality.

Live locally so I know and been to this place many times. If it wasn’t for my kids, I would never go here. I kid you not, this is probably the slowest McDonald’s in the whole COUNTRY! A bunch of kids working in a carefree relaxed state. Manager has no control and food churns out at a whopping pace that makes a snail look fast. it’s not possible on tripadvisor but wouldn’t have even given this place a one star.

I am very disappointed in the service me and my family had today as we had ordered two wraps of the day and a bbq wrap and a happy meal although we also had ordered two chips but it was cold and we only got one and we had to ask them agai for my McFlurry very furious with the customer service that me and my mother had today, next time we come up we will be getting kfc instead unless this issue is sorted

Always hard working friendly staff, considering the amount of customers they deal with actually a well run outfit...never had a problem here apart Sunday’s with the amount of traveller kids being a bit unruly

First time here since it opened all those years ago. No problem with anything. Plus we’re quick to take order, unlike KFC where I had to wait ages.

This is a traditional shop. What I mean is that there is no of new system of ordering, then going to the side and waiting 25 minutes for your order. Here you order and the cashier grabs it from behind him/him. Quick and easy.

This has to be one of the worst, cold burgers that are full of boney bits most of it went in the bin. Service without a smile, not worth the money many other better places to eat which we did after throwing away the burger and cold chips so covered in salt it was ridiculous.

Nice clean seating area, but then it’s Bluewater. Great views out over The boating lake. The negatives are, slow service not very friendly staff and they always seem to be out of something! Don’t bother ordering the porridge as you will wait for ages !

We had a coffee here before going shopping, just as you would expect from a MacDonalds nothing special but cheapish.

Food quality is normal Mc Donald’s standard, but the queue’s can be huge ! There was lots of staff but it was all a bit panicky and a little confused. We’ve been to better but it’s ok overall. Try the cheesy bacon wrap £1.49 👍

Far to small to be in Bluewater, this McDonalds is always packed, we waited 25 minutes for a happy meal last week. Staff are grumpy probably due to the fact they are rushed off their feet. Will not go back to this one in future.

La comida rápida no es conocido aquí. El personal es caer sobre cada uno de los demás porque no hay espacio entre las cajas y las bebidas, etc. muy esquema confundido situación y por lo tanto las colas crecer.

Great attempt to smile by my server, the supervisor presence felt too much as the servers could not just give me a natural smile, and it felt like they were on a time trial session, My break fast did take a bit long to make considering the were the only place opened so early.

Nice pop in food court with loads of seating. It was sunny so went by the little pond with the ducks in and sat with the kids for a bit of alfresco. Very much enjoyed and the food / staff were good

Food is what u expect from this type of place . Can be freshly cooked if u time it right or you may get a 10minute old burger . Busy at lunch times and when Bluewater shopping centre kicks out at 9pm. Most staff are friendly, always polite and well dressed . As title states, if u want a proper meal go to a restaurant, if u want fast food then queue up like the rest of us .

If you are on a low budget and want value for money meal, this is the place. Great value. Good quality. Kids always enjoy the happy meals. Cheap with a toy as Well! Seating outside by the lake or inside. Plenty of choice. Brilliant!
