KFC in Dartford

Absolutely disgusting 🤮 the new board system is awful, queued for ages, then finally get to the board, ordered our food and then waited forever 🤬 when the food finally arrived one of the orders was completely wrong, the chips were cold and soggy and the chicken was the worst ever. How you can serve such inedible rubbish is a joke. It is daylight robbery and will never return, used to love KFC and you’ve ruined it.

It's a great way to have a rest of your shopping and have some lovely food. Variety is big from tea/coffee break, through fast food up to Nandos, Pizza Hut, Wing shop(in them three you could actually sit in the restaurants) and more. Plenty of seating area with weather improving the tables outside are popping out too. It can get busy and noisy around lunch and dinner. If you are looking to sit, relax and do something - choose your time.

My chips were stone cold when I got them, orders were coming in and the food had just been sitting there for god knows how long. I sent my chips back because they was freezing and the second lot had a weird taste. The chicken was warm and not a very good piece of chicken lots of bits I could not eat.

Everything was fine, but don't go on Saturday, it's too crowded.

Food is ok, normal KFC standard. Awful service. Staff chatting too much while grabbing food from the shelf... They don't seem to see there are millions of people waiting to get their order or they don't care if they (accidentally) spit in the food.

The service was rubbish, I ordered online, I went up to the counter to ask if they called out my order number that I may have missed. I got a lot of non communication from 2 females which was head turn to me, not saying anything, not responding to my question as if I was speaking SpanEnglish or some out of this world language. EVENTUALLY they put my order together, Jeez, I thought that was the beauty of ordering online I thought- You dont/shouldn't have to wait for your food.

Worse service from lady on the till at Bluewater KFC. The reciept says the cashier name was Shqipe. She was shouting at us as we was trying to explain what we would like to order, threw our order at us instead of handing it over & her general attitude was appalling & it’s put us off from wanting to eat here again. Perhaps this individual needs to have training on customer service again as this isn’t how you treat customers!

Waited over 20 mins for our ‘fast food’.. Food was fine, usual KFC but was told we can only have 3 breast or thigh pieces in a bucket containing 6 pieces of chicken. Apparently they have to give at least half of the chicken pieces as wings or drumsticks in the buckets etc. Not keen on wings or drumsticks. Didn’t seem like there was enough staff working and very busy at the counter. Some staff working like the clappers while others were extremely slow. 20 mins to wait for the food was ridiculous! We’ll opt for a different food place next time.

Nothing wrong with the food at all it was the same as always and enjoyed it. They have now introduced self payment screens at Bluewater. This would not be a problem usually, but as part of my order I wanted mash potato and supercharger dips. I presumed they be under the sides and dips section, but they are not. In fact someone seems to have forgotten to add them to the screens at Bluewater, despite staff telling me that is where they are. I checked three times and 5 mins looking to confirm they are not on there. I told member of staff who said they are on there, but that as I could not order these items I would need to queue at a proper till. I stood in the queue (I say queue but there were only two people in front). I must have been in this 'queue' for almost half an hour to place my order. I had originally considered ordering on Deliveroo when I got home as I usually do, but thought as I was at Bluewater it would be easier and warmer than having it delivered. It was warmer, but it would have been quicker to order on Deliveroo and get the driver to hand it to me whilst standing at KFC in Bluewater itself or even return home and order it. It took far too long as I queued twice - once for self service screen and then again for a proper till.

Customer service is clearly not a thing, such rude and ignorant staff

we were waiting exactly 35 minutes just for small burger, couple of fries and something called popcorn chicken (it has anything in common with popcorn). the staff was awful - they were talking with each other and doesn't take care of peoples orders. I think this is the worst KFC I've had visited in my life. shame on you

Food was nice and hot but unfortunately was lacking sauce and very dry. Update, not much has changed still not run very well, they forgot the salsa in my zinger burger and the flaming wrap had very little sauce.

I should have read all of the negative reviews for this KFC before purchasing anything from it! If I could give zero stars then I would! The chicken was dry, the sauce was a pathetic stingy amount, and the burger buns were hard and stale. I went to ask the manager for a refund. He was surrounded by 5 other staff members who were all having a chat. I moved to one side so that I could speak to him about my meal, and the other staff could continue as they were, but ALL staff members (who were standing doing no work), moved and listened in to my conversation - it made me feel very uncomfortable. Like 6 sets of eyes were now on me, as I questioned their food. Anyway, the manager actually laughed at me! Then refused my refund or even an exchange, and said there's nothing that he could do. It was totally unprofessional and embarrassing. I will never use this KFC again. It was a total waste of money, and the staff need customer service training!

Slow service and ignorant workers 😠

VERY DISSATISFIED multiple green chips, slapped together burgers, ordered a teriyaki burger which the chicken looked like a nugget and it was just all together terrible highly DONT RECCOMEND

This was a standard KFC with the same quality of food I have experienced elsewhere. Unfortunately, it seems that anyone below average height or in a wheelchair was not considered when this venue was designed. I was unable to use the self service screen as it was positioned too high and there was no option to bring the info on the screen down to the lower half as there is in places like Tesco and McDonald’s. I tried to order at the counter but it was, again, so high that the staff could not see me and I had to raise my voice and wave my arm over my head to be noticed. When I was served it was by a lovely staff member who was professional and efficient. Given that this is such a high profile chain, I am disappointed at the lack of attention to accessibility at this store.

Messed up food order. Items were wrong. Given gravy instead of beans. Wrong drink supplied. When we did get things resolved some food had gone cold. Wouldn't use this KFC again.

Waited 15 minutes for a 1 item order (regular popcorn chicken) and had the order go up on the screen and then come off, seems like they are lying to management. Terrible communication and service 1/5 stars Poor quality food

Food this time was below average, no atmosphere, but service was good a lady helped me to order our food, about the only good thing this time

This is a very well run operation that I’m guessing is a franchise business. They serve food promptly and the chicken is really properly cooked. One small gripe is the chips are under done for my liking but that’s the same in most places I go. The gravy pots are legendary and I recommend to give it a go if you like fried chicken. There’s lots of seating in the shared seating areas. You can also charge your phone free in a couple of places that are located in the shared seating area close to Nandos. My son ordered 4 pieces of chicken from here and when it turned up it was not crispy enough, rubbery, and dry every thing else was fine but normally it’s nice. Also we spoke to the manager and he didn’t even say sorry and the staff were not very helpful at all.

Very, very slow service and when I asked for my money back they immediately did my order. When I eventually got my order it was not what I had very specifically asked for. Clearly understaffed.

This venue has become inhuman. Service of orders, made through their touchscreens, is slow and sometimes incorrect. Most of this has happened since the introduction of their touchscreens. Personally they should return to front facing service

Bluewater's KFC hasn't been so bad in the past but tonight's visit was underwhelming. They forgot to give me my fries, they forgot to give me the hashbrown and cheese in my burger which I had paid for, and my partner got a piece of chicken with half of the breadcrumbs off. Moreover, my vegan burger was extra dry and tough, completely unlike how they usually are. I feel like the staff didn't really care what was going on. I think I'd stick to the McDonalds just next to it, next time.

Very good chicken and the zinger stacker meal is my personal favourite the fries are lacking seasoning but some ketchup or bbq sauce always does the job

Terrible service. 49-50 minute queue even though my order was in queue position 10z staff rude telling people they had to wait. Had to argue for a refund and no apology.

KFC bluewater Saturday 21st January 16:55 While shopping in Bluewater I went to KFC, I requested if I could pay with cash as I didn’t have my card with me. I was told that the tills are not working today. So I asked if I could use the self service and pay with cash. I was told, we don’t have any cash on site. I requested to speak with the manager and asked for the name of the lady I was speaking with. She replied I don’t have a name but you can have the managers name then walked away to get the manger. As I waited for what appeared to around 10 minuets another member of staff came to me and I asked if he was the manager?. He replied no the manager is on a break and we are all new staff and the manger can not come out. So, I asked him if they have cash on site and he said no and again refusing to give me his name. he then told me the managers name Grendeen, I requested him to write it down and he walked off and refuse to speak to me. I watched him go towards his colleagues and laughing with them while looking back towards me. It made feel like I was nothing important and has completely ruined my special day with my 13 year daughter and her friend. It is totally unacceptable to be treated this way by a store in Bluewater When also KFC is meant to a professional company that is meant to provide a professional service. I mentioned I was going to make a complaint to the staff about the way I was treated and with that a member of staff came to me. I can only use the term a member of staff everyone refused to give their name. She said I will serve you, I then said I only have cash and she said yes that ok I can serve you here As I was being served a customer behind me wanted to be served next and when he went to the till she said sorry the tills are not working you need to use self service. While saying it she was laughing and rolling her eyes

Absolutely rubbish, cold over priced, £15.98 for 2 x chicken burgers + 2 large (I use this term Very loosely) + 1 tea x 1 Black coffee + BBQ sauce. Absolutely not worth the money the meal was tepid, the chicken was minute and tough. I know the costs have escalated but the paying customer deserves Value for money. We will not be returning.

First and last time i eat at kfc. Considering reporting this to trading standards as this shouldn’t be called a banquet.

Popped into KFC Bluewater today for lunch, very disappointed! I don't know if they've changed the recipe for the coating but it didn't taste of anything, I've made better myself. £21.99 down the pan, won't be eating there again or any other KFC, plus the service was poor.

Not to bad only problem is if you want to pay with cash you have only three tills as the rest are self service .

Not a good experience On the day we visited the self service points were not working.Its not the first time. The previous occasion we actually bought food from the self service and no receipt came out we never got our food nor our money back. On this occasion we had to queue for more than 15 min. Don't ask me why we did it . We could have just walked away. The food was unsatisfactory I bought a variety meals for 1. pieces of chicken were small, and The spicy wings were overdone and full of oil. The drink was flat. Just not happy with KFC this time or im going off it.

After waiting 20 mins from order to collection, we finally got our food. The food was nice enough, but the service. Was beyond slow. Unfortunately they are like another well known fast food brand, they take more orders than they can complete in a quick time scale.

Long wait for food after ordering. Even decided to write this interview after waiting 15 mins for food, asking a member of staff if I’d missed my order and she rudely snapped at me they were on order 493 and I was 499 so I’d have to wait. Totally uncalled for attitude from this lady . Yes, it was busy and it seems my number hadn’t made the board - but no need to snap at the customer and make me feel bad and unwelcome. If it had been a restaurant, without question I would’ve walked out, but unfortunately I had already paid. Still awaiting food. 24 minutes now since paying! The friend who went to McDs next door sat down over 10 mins ago!! NEVER AGAIN. People in the queue all getting calls from friends wondering where they’ve got to.

Order placed at 18:03, food received at 18:35. Absolutely poor service by staff that couldn't even apologise for the delay.

They have only now introduced the self ordering system here. Where as other branches I’ve been to have had them for years. Plus the ones here weren’t even working at the time I went 15/7/22.

It was busy, therefore food was hot. I used the mobile app, which did and did not speed up the process of my order. I still had to wait for a member of staff to pick up my order whilst it sat on their system.

Rude Indian workers there. 😒 obsurd customer service care. Waited to collect in 15 mins more than I expected. Other workers are great but improvements needed so OK. I usually don't eat there.

I tried to buy a meal, paid and waited for 5 minutes, then to be told I had to wait another 7 minutes as there was no chicken for my meal. I asked if I could have any other type of chicken to be told “no that’s not part of the meal”. I got a refund and left. No chicken lol

Fast ordering, best to do it via the app. This can get busy around midday to 2pm. So best to get ahead and order just before 12 or after 1330 to avoid queing and the trying to find a space

Ordered & paid online to collect in store. After waiting inside for 15 minutes, it became apparent they forgot to prepare my order, as my order number disappeared from the screen without getting called. Could tell it was very chaotic inside with stressed staff members

They did this promotion where you could get 10 chicken strips for £5 and it was godly, they are now doing another in which they are selling 80 popcorn chicken peices for £6. :)

The wait time is very long... They often get orders wrong.

I took my son to KFC bluewater today and am not satisfied I ordered 2 boneless box meals the chicken and drinks came but no chips so the oriental lady who served us pushed our meals to one side and carried on serving over people got served and we were left I complained and asked to see the manager, as when we got it all the chicken was cold. Not good service or food but plenty of other good food places near by so will use one of them
