Mcdonald's Restaurant in Southampton

Buen restaurante al lado del hotel Ibis Budget, la comida y el servicio son muy buenos y tuve la envoltura de verduras picantes y un batido y mi envoltura de verduras picantes y el batido sabía increíble y lo tuve antes de que la tienda McDonalds cierre a las 11. 30 pm y el restaurante McDonalds está tan limpio y ordenado y abierto todo el día hasta las 11. 30 pm y espero volver a este lugar en el futuro.

Enjoyed breakfast muffins and tea. Delighted this was open as Podium closed till 10.30 browsing and 11 shipping- not great for early birds on a Sunday.

Went to the drive through to order. Asked for the new deluxe double quarter pounders in large meals. Disappointed when we got home to find that they had given us the normal quarter pounder meals. Checked the receipt & they had charged for normal. Why don't they listen to the customers!!!! Banana thick shake was a normal milkshake. Would rather not have bothered!!!

Don’t order a soft drink with your meal. Staff will underpour you and then argue back when you complain that your drink is more or less half empty. Good for a quick bite after a long drive, not so great if you want friendly customer service.

Yah, a fine luncheon experience which derived from selecting a wrap with chili sauce and chicken burger with chips. It tasted good and was hot and we ate the lot.

Went for breakfast and also for a snack. The breakfast sandwich was hot and freshly made. The coffee was just ok. Later in the day we went back for a ice cream snack which was also good. Service was good.

Estaba aquì con mi esposa y querìa hacerlo un dìa inolvidable y sabìa que sòlo McDonald's lo harìa. Decidimos sentarnos y echamos un vistazo al menù, pero era imposible tomar una decision. Al final me fue a ver el jefe y le pedì buenas opinions y recomendaciones y me soprendiò porque me recomendò la salsa "ranch".Guau, increible. Por supuesto no sòlo comimos la salsa. Para acompañarlo tenìamos papas fritas, pollo y helados. Y la cuenta, fue barato.

We were out shopping and went in here for a simple and inexpensive lunch. The burgers and sodas were fine, and there was a little place to eat.

This McDonald's was not up to the standard of others I've eaten in,, .. No front line staff to clear tables,, i had to ask a member of staff to prep a table before we sat down,,.. Undeliverable how many patrons got up when finished,,leaving their debrri on the table when behind them!!..

Visited Mc Donald at the shopping centre. Not many customers. The Mc Chicken sandwich was awful. Patty cold, lettuce nearing the expiry or past the date. Basically, discolored and stale. Fries was just warm half of it lying at the bottom of the bag. Arrogant staff( a senior chap serving me could be the manager himself ( not sure). No sauce and no sugar for the hot drink! This will definitely be the last time at this horrible Mc Donald!

We called in here on a Saturday afternoon (late lunch). At the end of July Covid19 Restrictions were still quite tough, but all seemed to operate in a nice calm manner. We waited for a table so we could eat indoors (wait for a table seemed like it was just a few minutes). We ordered our food and watched the cars snaking around the car park, waiting to use the Drive through. Our food was brought to our table and was nice and hot. We had a table in each direction clear to maintain social distancing. All was good, the toilets were clean, tables were cleared away quickly, all seemed to be very hygienic, considering the Covid19 rules and regs . So all in all a happy experience. Unlikely to return as we were just visiting Southampton for the day. But I'd be happy to call in there again if hungry and in the area. Mind you I'm happy to eat in almost any Maccy D's

This is a good place to eat - nice to get a breakfast and sit in a nice clean seating area nearby. Food was hot and drinks good.

Me apresuré al muelle oeste de McDonald's en mi pausa para el almuerzo, tuve que esperar un poco más de lo habitual y me senté a comer mi pedido en el trabajo, para descubrir que me faltaban las patatas fritas y que había 3 personas frente a mí que vinieron. y se quejó de que se les había dado una orden incorrecta. ¡Ojalá lo hubiera comprobado antes, ya que ahora no tengo chips con mi COMIDA!

Solìa ir a McDonald's a menudo y hoy estaba mi primero vez durante cuatro meses. La situacìon ahora es diferente sin embargo la comida fue afuera del mundo. La regla de oro es eligir sabiamente pero es una pena que el menù es un poco màs pequeno. Querìa tener un postre pero despues mi hamburgesa y papas fritas estuve lleno.

McDonald's es doquier, sin embargo es impossible saber que expectar sino este Lugar siempre bueno. Puedes comprar un cafè por dos libras y el cafè siempre es delicioso y west quay es muy sofisticado. Un buen dìa y un buen cafè. Much is gracias McDonald's.

Este lugar es bastante pequeño y se llena. Hay un aparcamiento donde puedes quedarte gratis por un corto período, y generalmente siempre he encontrado un espacio, pero eso no se puede garantizar. Debido a que está ocupada, la mesa no siempre se puede limpiar y limpiar. Pero hemos encontrado que el personal es sonriente y servicial.Está bien. No es nuestro favorito, pero es fácil llegar a McDonalds después de visitar el Odeon.

Waited 20 mins for our so called Indian meal - it was cold and the only thing Indian about it was the nan bread very very poor.

Le había prometido a algunos amigos que estaban visitando un almuerzo y este parecía el lugar ideal. El menú era tan amplio que tardó más de media hora en decidir qué comer, pero este fue un tiempo bien aprovechado para preparar las comidas más deliciosas que hemos probado. La mejor carne de res, panes increíbles, papas fritas delicadamente sazonadas, pollo delicioso acompañado de ensaladas y la variedad más completa de salsas que puedas imaginar. Desiertos para morirse y todo tipo de café que pueda desear o soñar. La comida perfecta, la ubicación perfecta. Un recuerdo para atesorar.

Un almuerzo delicioso y delicioso que consiste en un sándwich de pollo con mayonesa especificado sin mayonesa pero con queso extra. Visited last weekend on way to Red Funnel . Totally disorganised meaning it took nearly 15 minutes after ordering for an ordinary type meal to arrive . Not enough staff available and no apparent management

Otro ridículo orden y sistema de espera. Poner varias pantallas de pedido usted mismo solo ralentiza todo el proceso. Me negué a usar las pantallas y ordené en la caja. Una vez más, no me dijeron que tenía que esperar simplemente mover colas! Quien haya puesto esto fue una locura. La comida estaba recocida, tibia y no el estándar habitual.

You simply cannot go wrong with a large Big Mac meal in my opinion. Quick service, clean and tidy and great value. Friendly server.

Didn't feel like a big meal, so I ordered kids meal. Came with everthing even a book which I gave to some children. Store was busy, staff very nice, good location and parking.

I ended up with a double cheeseburger in a bun that was going off. It was hard (not fluffy like usual) and discoloured. Unfortunately I only saw this when I got home otherwise i would have asked for another so I can’t comment on the service when dealing with a complaint but there are many more McDonald’s restaurants in the area so I would recommend going to a different one. Everything else was fine and very usual for McDonald’s food I was just disappointed to see that they would serve food in a bun that was clearly not edible.

Went in early Sunday morning. Empty but all the tables were filthy, staff not bothered. Floors was also dirty, no napkins and not toilet paper in the loo’s. Not pleasant. Lots of staff stood around!?

This McDonald's is perfectly functional, and in a good location. However, there is by far not enough seating at any point other than very early or late, and it is often very dirty. I wish there were more staff to help keep the area tidier.

We called at McDonald's for coffee before going elsewhere for lunch. The service was quick, and the tables were clean. Coffee was hot and tasty. No need to pay extra at other coffee chains.

Wir wollten das restl. Geld loswerden und haben uns dort noch 2 Burger gekauft. Dieser Laden scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Er war ein wenig schmuddelig. Hier in Deutschland bei Mac Donalds ist es wesentlich sauberer. Die Toiletten kan man nur benutzen, mit einem Code, der auf dem Kassenbon draufsteht. Man muß also schon etwas essen, um auf die Toilette zu dürfen.

En nuestra estancia en Southanton (5 días), fuimos a cenar casi todas las noches a Mc Donald, pues era muy conveniente porque estaba justo al lado de nuestro hotel. Es un lugar amplio, con máquinas para pedir la comida. Cuando lo pedíamos en la caja la verdad que el servicio era rápido, pero de calidad pues es un Mc Donald más, todos tienen lo mismo, los nugets, las hamburguesas etc.

West Quay has a free 30 minute carpark, fine except from getting carpark ticket to return to my car with a LATTE took 13 minutes. My order was number 6 no food just a coffee, order served in front of me number 8 and was also just a drink. On returning to my car and going to docks to collect clients i had a sip, never has a latte had a squirty cream top and tasted of caramel, so sweet i had to bin it. No time for another one and not good form to be drinking coffee with clients in the car Perfection after a 3 1/2 hour drive down and with a longer journey home i was a happy bunny.

The normal fast and efficient service you would expect from this chain, All areas clean and tidy and very friendly staff. The food as normal and hot.

Very quick service here and helpful staff. Usually rather clean and the food is always hot. Standard McDonald's prices and good value. Doesn't have its own seating area, it uses the general west quay food court seating which usually is no issue. This can sometimes be a bit more difficult if with a group in very busy periods. All open plan and not ideal for those with hearing problems if eating in.

I eat at McDonald's for standard food, what is this whole cook fresh thing about? I get you gain a better image but your food tastes, dare I say it, worse.I like my cheese melted and my sauce burger warmth.Why has it also turned into an Argos? Why cant we be served by a human? Why put in those awful machines that are slower and more of an inconvenience than just being served by a person.I know you are going to say something like customer satisfaction is up since we installed these but you are liars.I will go out of my way not to eat here again.

I went here for some lunch and it was packed. The staff were efficient to get the food to me although there was a longer than normal wait due to the large quantity of customers. The cheeseburgers are the same everywhere else in the UK so nothing special.

another fast food place in a large shopping centre that at optimum times gets very busy.Ok for safe eating at a reasonable price or to grab a coffee on the go.At time of our visit ,we got there before the lunchtime rush and was seated before the hoards arrived. Pleasant for a one off visit whilst visiting the centre over New Year.Clean and tidy as one would expect.

Tried the new chicken and rice dish. Very tasty! Speedy service by friendly staff. Seating area clean and staff constantly clearing tables so plenty seating.

Went here super busy, super slow. Ordered fish fingers for our children. My little boy has allergies so everything else on the menu he cannot have. Happy meals arrived and were chicken nuggets. Good job we noticed as the nuggets would have caused a reaction. Tried to get a member of staff all have been replaced with machines, so was hard to get somebody . Somebody was dealing with something else and said they would get back to us. Ended up binning the food and eating elsewhere.

McDonald's is very convenient. Located on the top floor of the shopping center in the food court. Order by kiosk and receive a receipt. They will call you when your order is ready.

New machine to place order which I'm sure should speed the process up but so slow now. Lots of people hanging around for their number to come up. Needs tweaking!

Popped in here on way to the mayflower as had the nibbles! So was ok can't moan tastes the same as any other McDonald's I suppose but very hi tech as they have iPad fixed to the table for all customers to use

Needed some cheap ice cream to keep me going and so I came here. The mcflurry was nice and was only £0.99 on the saver menu. The layout is great and the cashless screens are slick. I went out onto a tiny balcony (past KFC) which looks out over IKEA. I never knew that was there!

it was expensive and not like we had in new Zealand. the automatic menu worked well. to be honest we only can here for a cheap meal but found it expensive

This McDonald's has been modernized and you can if you wish place your order via a machine and take a ticket. Otherwise, it's the usual food and drinks. Plenty of room to sit at the top floor of the West Quay complex.

We always come here when we go shopping to Ikea due to the fact the two buildings are within walking distance so the location is very convenient, it is also in the main food court and so is easy to find. The service is always fast and friendly and we have no issues. The food itself is what you would receive at any other typical McDonalds, reasonable variety and taste - not always presented nicely but oh well - it's cheap and fast. What do you expect?The only big thing I would say is that because most of the seating is in the main court, it is in plentiful supply however it can get a bit noisy and so not the best atmosphere. Toilets are available which are clean and the whole building is also kept clean as is the seating.Overall, I will return and recommend.

Ordered a deli sandwich which looked nothing like the picture. Chicken did not deserve to be called chicken as it was the texture of jelly. Went in the bin. Waste of money.

You'll find old Ronald McDonald on the top floor of West Quay but don't expect a quick order. They now added the express check out which actually seems to take longer!

We tried this McDonalds for a quick breakfast before embarking on our cruise. The Bacon sandwich was disappointing. Coffee was great. Service was quick which was what we wanted.

After ordering a £26 meal for the family I was refused tap water on one order and have to buy bottle I will not be going back to this mcdonald's again and I'm appalled of this behaviour

The new McDonalds is open. Very clean. Not as busy as other M34 McDonalds. Food hot and in all prepared well. A tad slow, but maybe they are just trying to find their groove.

Typical McDonalds fare in the food court of the West Quay Mall. The food was good, the service prompt with a lot of clean seating overlooking the shops and stores.

We were really pushed for time on Saturday 6th September and wanted food, so against our better judgement, decided to stop at McDonald's, Swaythling High Road, in Southampton. Big mistake. Firstly, it's supposed to be a "fast food" outlet - wrong! secondly I understood that the staff are trained in excellent customer service - wrong!We arrived there at approx 9.15 (bearing in mind this was a Saturday) and there were two people serving. One of whom couldn't really understand what the person she was serving was saying, so the conversation got louder and louder. Because of the lack of staff in what I would say was a busy period, and because of this altercation with the staff member and lady being served, we waited in line for nearly 10 mins, while the person, who I imagine was the manager just wandered around and when asked if there was more staff replied, they'll be right with you. We finally ordered out meals, after the girl getting the drinks wrong twice and when we started on our "meal", they consisted of very very soggy watery scrambled egg, a "sausage" thing, which was disgusting, a bun and a hash brown, which were the only edible parts of the meal. My partner went in search of pepper and was told by the staff that "we have plenty of salt but didn't order pepper so there isn't any". We left the majority of our meals and if we had had the time would have complained to the manager who was still wandering about. Surprisingly there were at least four couples with children eating, although they don't apparently do children's breakfasts, so you have to order an adult one. I just wouldn't take my child there even for a drink never mind "food". Sad to say we were very very disappointed and what was supposed to be a quick visit for some fast food, turned into quite the opposite. We will try and remember in future - you get what you pay for!

One thing you get with Mc Donalds is the same as everywhere else but personally the service is often lifeless with no smile and bland. Can't be the most interesting job for there staff either.
