Basingstoke Leisure Park, Worting Rd drive through … Wasn’t busy but the 2 females in the order booth decided to take their time before acknowledging my vehicle to take my order..order given ..no please or thank you..I wait in line maybe 4 cars total ..get to the collection booth..waiting..waiting ..then get asked to park in the waiting bay ..again I repeat the branch is not busy but approaching evening rush hour 5 pm onwards I’d say so in my view it’s go time…not here apparently…anyway eventually a couldn’t be bothered assistant brings out my meal and I head home…I ordered a Big Mac..small fries and a Filet o fish..the filet was so overcooked it was chewy and pasty ..the Big Mac ..Stevie wonder could have done a better job of assembling ( a wonky mess) and because I ordered small fries I received around 15 over salted non crispy ‘fries’…and since when did 2 small sandwiches and 15 fries cost over £10?!!!…disgusting service and product…would not recommend unless you are desperate.

It is only 24hr for drive thru, which is not advertised which should be especially with hotels next door. Employee had awful attitude when attempted to enter the building

They had no mayo chickens, so got nuggets instead and asked for curry sauce but got none. not the first time this has happened either. not the first time i've had a bad experience either. they have got our order mixed up with someone else's too before. there was no coke zero either.

It's in an alright location, nice that the drive though is open 24/7, and friendly staff. Only place open late, late in Basingstoke.

Ordered through just eat, only ordered 2 medium meals. Was waiting for 1 and a half hours to be still preparing, tried numerous times to ring and not once was the phone answered. Tried to ring Brighton Hill McDonalds and picked up first time. Customer service is terrible here, foods never great better of going elsewhere.

I'm disgusted quote frankly that a mcdonalds that is open 24/7 did not pick up any calls from my dear friend who was very angry about her order not only being cold... but also the fact that she ordered an extra 50p sauce which she was extremely excited about to have with her chips, the employees failed to put it in her bag and this made her extremely upset, only then did she try and call the place to perhaps try and get her sauce, no answer at all, I am extremely unhappy and will not be taking my business here any longer, I hope mcdonalds train their employees to better understand the customers needs or perhaps fire the employees that work the night shift as they cannot read a screen...enjoy your one star review and put in the 50p sauce next time u vile people

We always go to McDonald’s after my partner finishes work at 1130 and the service is always amazing however tonight we had a terrible experience we placed our order and that was great however the server at the window giving us the food tried to start an argument with me, he passed me The food and then said “you what” and I said pardon … and then he gave me a look as if he wanted a fight, a look that only someone that has an issue would give ! I took high road and drove off! The time was 23:40 the guy was around 6ft brown hair and had a medium sided beard … not sure if it was his time of the month or he has issues but it’s not the usual brand image that you would expect ! Maybe someone needs to look at the cameras or give him some customer service training

I went here on my lunch break as Google Maps advised it was only 13 minute walk away. Wrong. It was more like 25 minutes. I ordered fries, but they forgot them. I complained and the guy just shrugged that they were too busy to get me some. I was pressed for time so I didn't bother to go further. I had the nuggets with sweet and sour sauce, but the sauce looked expired. It was a shade of lime green instead of the standard red/brown. It tasted awful. Also burnt my tongue on the chocolate pie as it was molten hot. Would not recommend.

We waited over 30 minutes for the 'fast' food and when it arrived it was lukewarm. The low numbers of serving staff were wholly overwhelmed by the number of orders wanting to eat in. This staff shortage was highlighted by the number of cars queueing > 20 onto the roads.

Order dinner through just eat and never arrived they can’t even do a delivery to the right place maybe its better if they get into a course to be a qualified delivery driver

The worst McDonalds I have ever been too by far. Food all over the floor and we had a real job finding a clean as n table even though the place was empty. To cap it all 4 of our five chicken selects were cold.

Waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes but it was lunch time so acceptable, what wasn't acceptable however was the food. I said to my wife " at least it should be freshly cooked. Not a chance. I've worked in fast food myself & the ONLY way they were churning it out as fast as they were was to have precooked huge amounts of burgers for the lunchtime rush & the rubbish they served us was obviously at the bottom of the pile. I had 2 double cheeseburgers off the saver menu & my wife had a chicken burger plus large chips between us. We had intended eating on the way home which we did otherwise I would have taken this muck back. Both of my cheeseburgers was cold and tasted of disgusting cold fat my wife's chicken burger was also cold and utterly tasteless and the only thing that showed any heat was the very very like warm chips. The whole meal was disgusting and was thrown in the bin as soon as we got home. A big brand name like McDonald's should not be churning out disgusting muck like this, they should be ashamed, but what do you expect when all you do is employ kids. I WILL NEVER EAT AT MCDONALD'S AGAIN. My advise to you would be the same. I only gave it 1 star because you have to give something to give a review otherwise it would have been -10. P.S. I did try to leave a review on MCDONALD'S site but was unable perhaps they stopped this due to the amount of BAD COMMENTS.

We ordered food at the drive through and realised that we was missing food as well as being over charged. So we went back and the manager Nick was so helpful got all out food cooked fresh and sorted out being over charged he was so helpful couldnt not ask for someone better to run that place! Thank you sooo much.

My children love coming to this McDonalds restaurant. It is always clean and I feel the service is always quick, despite how busy it can get. The staff are always helpful and friendly and they make it extra special for the children. Thank you very much.

Waited 47 mins for a chicken and bacon warp and 2 drinks.so disorganised it’s untrue. Staff did not care

Awfully slow service. Waited twenty minutes for food. When I tried to speak to the manager he walked off with no explanation or apology as I was still trying to talk to him. Younger members of staff overheard moaning about customers too

Drive thru Saturday 13/8, ordered breakfast. As usual the messed it up. I went into the restaurant to be told they wouldn’t replace my daughter’s breakfast as it was after 1100. The “manager” I was talking to wiped his nose on his tie…. Lovely.

Couldn't find my app order when I got to the speaker.. Got to the payment window....Wouldn't let me order anything as "the screen won't let me".....Was sent to the collection window and was told there was no app order and I couldn't place an order at that window. They asked me to park up and come in, so I parked up and out came whpo I can only assume was the manager, Refused to give me my order even though I showed it to them on the app. Wouldn't give me a refund either. If they treat all their customers like this then they are going to have problems. More customer service training is need here urgently!! I said to her I would ring cutomer service and she just said "bye" and walked off. The manager definitely needs some training. Maybe it's becasue it's all kids workinig there? I don't know, but something needs to change.

Usually very impressed with mcdoanlds and their mcchicken sandwiches however not today. We went through drive through to get a nice big meal, a mukbang if you will, after a long hard day in lockdown. We waited a long time in the queue and finally ordered and then had to wait longer in a bay for our order to arrive, to which we realised after a drive home that they not only forgot to put it the chicken nuggets, but also the mcchicken sandiwch we ordered had a beef in it instead of chicken? What a mcbeef. I often check the bags after a drive through but now i’ve got trust issues and am going to have to check inside of every box before im full satisfied that my order is correct. Im really disappointed and quite frankly surprised that someone managed to put beef patty in a mcchicken bun and into a box that says mcchicken on it. Not impressed

Very disappointed as my order was not only cold but also no souses for nuggets and ordered 3. Nobody to contact to get it right.

I called up to make sure they did mcflurrys and that their machine was working, one of the staff said yes, I made sure twice so that the trip wouldn’t be wasted. Turned up about 10/15 minutes later and it turned out their machine was down. It was a waste of petrol and I will not be returning again.

I drove to the drive through and my order was completely messed up. I had to wait an extra 10 mins to revive the original correct order.

Wow, where do I start?Put the order in well within the opening hours of the restaurant listed on Just Eat. After waiting 15 minutes from the estimated time of arrival I finally had the notification to say the food was on its way and the driver had collected the order. Wonderful! Me and the Grandmother were happy and waiting for the food! But wait, that would be too easy! 15 minutes later I get a text from Just Eat to see that the order has been cancelled! No reason given in the app or in the text, just simply cancelled.Now it is too late to order from another restaurant that might actually deliver on their promise so we shall be going hungry this evening.So to sum it up, McDonalds will not deliver as they say they will, they will leave it until the last moment to let you know they have cancelled, they will offer no explanation and they will leave it so late that you have no option but to skip dinner.I sincerely hope the manager/management team read this as I would love to hear their comments on this because frankly I think this is incredibly unfair.You would probably be better off ordering from a well known fires chicken shop or another burger restaurant with royalty in their title as at least they will deliver when they say the will or should I say, deliver at all!!Thanks for that McDonald’s Basingstoke leisure park, very much appreciated...

Why do you continue to hand out WARM COLD DRINKS WITHOUT ICE ? Did not want to hand back the drinks as others in the cue would suffer but next visit the drinks will get handed back for a refund

No mcflurry avaikable. No table service available from order point. No receipt from order point(although this was reprinted by a manager) No napkins available. 7 min delay for apple pie. As bad as it gets,sadly.

Average McDonald’s, larger then it presents itself outside, food was ok but what let it down was the uncleanliness of the iPad screens being used by the kids, these were filthy! Everything else was ok.

I get that they want to cook to order but if that's the case why bother with a drive through? EVERY time we come through the drive through we get asked to park up. Even when it's not that busy. It's frustrating. I wouldn't come at all but the rest of the family like the food. Pull your finger out mcdonalds!!!!This isn't good enough.

We went to McDonalds for a quick ‘FAST FOOD’, but it took 17mins for the food to come and when the food came they got the order wrong and the food was generally bad.

Well fast food wasn’t very fast, we did the table order and took 15mins to bring the food, some of which was wrong! The mozzarella sticks were rather stuck together!

Every single drive through customer was being asked to park up! Customer service is appalling, when I asked to speak to a manager I was told she was the manager, asked for her name, she refused... when she finally brought the food she had removed her name badge! Asked for a central customer service number not this branch as I will get her... it was like the end of the world... I was in no way rude.... just wanted to feedback how awful it was as this was meant to be a drive thru not a park and wait - highly suggest you avoid if you want quick service and frozen drinks

If time is of the essence and you're in need of quick food on the go, I would avoid McDonalds at the Basingstoke Leisure Park, RG22 6PG. Once again, after driving to the food collection window, we were asked to park up and wait for our food. Only this time, there were no spaces left in the car park so were left hovering with other cars and blocking the car park entrance/exit. I spotted 6 drivers sat in their vehicles, all looking very frustrated. We ordered at 17:23 and received our food at 17:36, by which time the McFlurry which I did collect at the window had pretty well turned to milk.

the food in the drive through in the early hours is getting worse , on the last few visits the burgers are lukewarm and have looked like someone has thrown them against a wall before serving them to you, rather than being able to eat them immediately i have had to take them home to microwave them back to life , it is such a shame that their major competitor closes at 10 pm in basingstoke well before i finish work at 1.30 am

Ordered a double Sausage Egg Mcmuffin which had clearly been sat on the shelf for hours the sausage was like cardboard and the Muffin was stale. Had to put it in the bin as not edible.

To put it bluntly, it was empty so thought it would be good quick and decent food but boy I was wrong.

Had lunch here with 3 children & found the staff friendly & welcoming. Our order was all correct & food was good. The restaurant was clean & tables were cleared straight away. The drive thru was very busy but plenty of tables inside & several parking spaces available.

Waited about 30 mins to eventually order and when we got our food the chips where basically frozen and the burger was cold as hell

We chose to head down the road here instead of paying through the nose at the Milestones Museum cafe for lunch and what a good choice that was. Despite it being very busy and a Sunday, no sooner had we clicked our order through it was ready. Condiments were easily accessible and plentiful and seating was comfortable. Light and airy and the staff were wonderful. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

After waiting in the drive through queue for 20 minutes I got to the pay area which was empty so I waited for a while until the cars behind started to beep, I drove on to the collection window where I was handed my food, I explained that I hadn't paid for it and was told to either hand my mobile phone over with the credit card open for use (I don't think so and can't believe they can even ask you to do this) or to re join the queue which I had already sat in for 20 minutes. The manager was standing at the window and said "if you don't want to queue give our food back" I was so shocked in the way I was spoken to I handed my £2.98 meal back and left never to return.

Lovely place no problems at all got food quite quickly got drive through too which was busy but we find it quicker to park in car park opersite then go in and order we used the ordering machine and didn’t have any problems with it either

Most appalling service. Not dispensing hot drinks we were told at the order point due to running out of lids. As hungry ordered food and subsequently saw a few hot drinks being delivered using cold drink lids. Subsequently asked manager why this was happening and given an abusive and totally unprofessional response. Second time something like this has happened at this branch and for us the last as we will not return. Awful example of a McDonald's.

Called in tonight for a meal with kids, I opted for the South Carolina Stack with it being on the ‘whats new’ section.

Food was good but had to call staff to order point. Was not given all monopoly vouchers and told it was all they had but there were strips behind counter. Very poor staff attitude.

My partner and I took a trip this morning to McDonald’s at the leisure park and was truly disappointed. The image pictured is apparently my “double sausage and egg McMuffin (without a bun). By the time I got all the way home it was too late to go back. I cannot eat bacon so unfortunately it was completely wasted. I didn’t realise how hard it is to press a button on a screen.

It took 6 minutes to get served, there was no queue. The restaurant was dirty, the toilet floor was soaking wet. The Big Mac had so much salt on it that it was inedible and when I went to complain it took another 4 minutes before anyone took care of me.

Nearly every time I have to go and wait while they get my order wrong when using the Drive Thru. Actually quicker and a better use of time to park up and order via machine. Poorly run and it depends on which shift is working whether the food is up to scratch or not. Wish one of these two outlets would be taken over by the main competitor as it might make them do things better. Pretty poor.

Quick service, cheap dual food choices available. Good that they deliver. Staff friendly as they usually are. Can’t complain really.

Had a take away breakfast as a family treat, it was delivered, it was fantastic, food and drinks were perfect! Definitely do again!

Not been to macs for a while after a bad visit to the Brighton hill branch . This one didn’t do much better either . Tables sticky and floor just as bad .

The service and food are consistently inconsistent. On this occasion the service, quality of food and cleanliness were excellent. The restaurant was very busy with a long queue for the drive-through. Nevertheless, those using the restaurant were welcomed warmly and the food was enjoyable - this was a busy Saturday evening. If McD's tried to be consistently good they would avoid poor reviews.

Mainly use this to pick up quick food as easy to access. Usually acceptable, but if a bigger order best to check before leaving premises as sometimes not all there or wrong.

Thought I would pop in via the drive through for a quick breakfast. How disappointed I was, ordered food and sat in a line of cars stationary for 15 minutes. A pathetic apology at the payment window and thank you for waiting as if I could leave the drive through lanes!!! Had to wait at the serving window for a further 5 minutes whilst watching 9 different staff milling around aimlessly. Ordered a double sausage and egg muffin and a breakfast wrap with brown sauce, actually got a single sausage and a wrap with red sauce so not happy with that. Plus point I suppose the hash brown was hot.

I visited with my parents to grab a quick drive thru breakfast on the way to London. Unfortunately we had to wait an absolute age just to get to the order window - we've never seen the queue move so slowly. The girl who took payment for the order didn't apologise for the ridiculous wait, and instead declared that she was "still half asleep".

I don't generally have problems with McDonald's, until I arrived here. I'm guessing my food was good at one time. But that would be before I got it when it was still warm. What I got was two cold cheeseburgers that were as cold as my drink. Facilities are generally tidy. Won't be visiting again.

Had a great last minute snack with family and my daughters school mates before going home for a cinema evening.

My mother and i are not regulars at mcdonalds and decided to purchase hot drinks here whilst waiting for the bus as we had heard mccafe was quite good. We went in and there was no direction to show you firstly where the actual entrance was. We got in and there was no tills really just tablet screens and so we were a little confused. Tried to find staff to ask but they all seemed busy so we had a go on the tablets and ordered our drinks. Waiting in the restaurant the board said ready to collect so we went to the desk and were ignored by about 5 or 6 members of staff. Eventually a very polite young chap handed us our drinks. We left and went to enjoy them. But to be completely honest they were disgusting. It was not hot chocolate it was just brown hot water. No chocolate taste at all! Needless to say not impressed and will still to paying a little more for our hot drinks.

We visited after attending the leisure park. Whilst the drive through was extremely busy, the restaurant was relatively quiet.

nice new set up but as usual the milk shake and icecream machines were not working. dont aeem to have that problem in sicily

To get to this terrible place you have to navigate drinks and gangs of not very nice people. There's rough sleepers outside and the general location is threatening. Why the Town allows this I don't know. But then inside you're met with indifferent staff, mediocre and slowly made food. Don't bother.

its got a drive thru, its goot a desk, its ok for what it is, Mcdonalds is reasonably priced fast food, the staff are quick here, the food was hot and pretty good, did what we needed

Again Never fails to meet expectations, absolutely shockingly appalling service. 15 minutes to make the wrong order, no apology just blank/vacant looks. Oh sorry there was an attempt to fool me by telling me ‘it’s the pancakes’?!?!? Really?! You want me to believe it takes 15 minutes to cook a pancake, was it also the pancake that buggered up the rest of the order?? I wasn’t the only one whose fast food was fast today, there were a whole host of others being stared at vacantly. Come on people it’s not difficult, get your act together.

This McD's has undergone a major refurbishment and it was a delight to visit although the most popular US meals had sold out. Nevertheless we were welcomed on arrival and assisted in completing the IT order. Our meal was delivered to our table - a really well received touch. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Frankly if the US style meals had been available I would have given 5 stars. Well done McDonald's. I recommend this restaurant.

Always busy and i think they should sort out the queue of cars to drive thru at the weekend as it blocks the road leading to both kfc and mcdonalds. Loads of customers like myself only buy a coffee but it takes a long time to wait for it in a rush our.

Don't do the drive thru. Park opposite and cross the road. No risk of being hit by a car as they are all stationary in the drive thru que.

So I get to drive thru at leisure park to be asked to park and wait whilst they time to make 2 of the meals plain.. only to get home and realise for once they got the order correct but let down by them not...

Como estaba en llamar esta semana me sacó a conducir hasta hoy, fue una espera bastante larga debido a la afluencia de gente que vuelve al mismo lugar. . Al final pedimos pagamos y nos fuimos a la ventana para recoger mi comida donde esperé por un tiempo muy largo. No importa como entendí que estaba lleno, así que esperé y esperé, me dieron una bolsa de comida sólo para ellos llevar y sacar cosas de ella. Obviamente no en mi. orden pensé. Una vez he recogido mi comida me fui fuera, ya que tenía que volver a donde estaba. . Me pareció que había cambiado una parte de mi pedido con algo que no comer solo y dejar que la orden era de mucho menos valor. . Por desgracia, esto es una vez en muchas ocasiones cosas como este han sucedido y debido a la naturaleza de mi trabajo no podría volver a cambiar la comida de vuelta a lo que pedí 1 - 0 McDonald's

Dropped by the drive-in for a McMuffin this morning (17 May). A female member of staff gabbled something unintelligible into the intercom which then went dead, leaving me to place my order at the 'pay' window where the real trouble began. Instead of taking my order, an aggressive young Crew Trainer 'Marie' cut me off in order to remonstrate with the unseen intercom operator. When Marie returned, she next gestured to me to keep quiet while she then took an order from a car behind me ... ruder still. When I politely objected, she stomped off to find a manager who just mumbled 'sorry' before vanishing. While this pantomime unfolded the queue of cars grew longer under the nose of the oblivious and impervious Marie. Having no manners or interpersonal skills whatsoever, this character should not be let within a mile of the paying customers, let alone train the 'Crew'.

McDonalds have great meals for all courses. As well as the food being quality,it is also very quick. If you need fast food, go to McDonald's.

Slow service when hardly anyone in, only ordered standard Big Mac meals. Nice meal though. Floors not too clean.

Over cooked chips, cold mozzerella dippers, slow, unapologetic service. Served by a young girl named 'Mo' who seemed to have no interest at all in the customers. No smile, no care for the way she was placing the food to the point she knocked half the chips over the tray and responded with nothing but a half hearted 'sorry'. Looked chaotic behind the counter and staff seemed more interested in chatting to eachother than serving. It's the little things which make McDonald's what it is and a pleasant experience and today was just not it.

an efficient fast food outlet with good service tip of the day ask for your burger without pickles and it will be freshly cooked for you, well worth the slight extra wait

I went to McDonalds for a quick snack for my daughter.The service was not very fast or efficient.People were waiting in queues to get their orders.I think the service needs to be reviewed by senior management. It is not fast food as I would have expected.You can't go wrong with a McDonalds - but if the waiting times are longer than 10 minutes - then it does not reflect well on the brand.My daughter had a cheeseburger - and she said it was good.

My partner and I came here to grab some food to go before X factor the other night. We thought the drive thru would be ideal but instead was greeted with a massive queue. We decided to park up and go inside instead. The queues weren't as bad there to be honest. I could see the staff were all very busy though. It seemed like a hussle and bussle atmosphere. The staff seemed flustered too. I felt sorry for them in a way. Having only one drive thru window for two lines of traffic didn't seem very effect if I'm honest. The young girl who served us was polite though. Our food was lovely and hot and it was nice to see the milkshake machine was working. There was a wait for the apple pies though but it nice to see they were all being made fresh. I'd definitely go back but I'd be wary of the drive thru queues.

Seems a waste of my time reviewing here as its Fast food and one could say what do you expect!The Microphone was suffering from feedback at the order point(suspect the rude young man was wearing it at a jaunty angle). Yes I am a Comms engineer.As a result he could not hear what I was ordering and I was required to repeat myself numerous times. He got very rude and impatient at this point(because of his fault??).Anyway, moving on! The paypoint I was addressed as Mate! I don't mind this at all, just not 4 times at every opportunity! The only saving grace was at the collection point, very friendly and polite at the right level. The guy was stood there too wearing his Mic and earpiece at a jaunty angle looking bored!Yes this is McDonalds, yes its fast food, no it does not and should not escape from basic customer service!

I have been to this McDonalds a few times and it has been ok though the queues are usually quite long. However this time, Saturday at 3pm it wasn't too busy and there was only one person in front of us in queue but drive through was fairly busy. After standing for about 10 mins waiting, not one member of staff looked up from tills and made eye contact with anyone waiting. By this point the queue was out the door. I decided to ask if they were actually serving, the boy being the till just kind of shrugged. Went to KFC next door and got served straight away!! I don't know if the manager was present but if they weren't I am sure they would not be happy to know how their branch was being run today.

well located with lots of free parking. Excellent staffclean and tidy. if something is wrong they change without any quibbles.

Coming here you get exactly what you would expect from McDonald's, a decent enough burger. Clean enough.

Chicken legend delicious and good food. Service was polite, staff member could have smiled. There was a problem with our order, but this was corrected quickly and without question by staff. Value as you would expect but a loyalty scheme that rewards customers for visiting should be implemented.Overall, I would return.
