McDonald's in Test Valley

Bit disappointing 😞 I thought by sitting in the food would be hot ,but I was wrong chips cold big mac cold never again 🙃

My coffee was cold and waited ages for it.

Great place been going there for years after picking kids up from Bournemouth alway pop in on way back lovely

Service was fine but opened the box to what looked like it had been thrown in should have taken a picture I know they never look like the picture but not even close 😞

A great stop off for a McDonald's on route to the car ferry in Southampton. The food was hot and delicious as well as easy to get

It was fairly late into the evening but the guy that served me was friendly and gave me an extra garlic mayo sauce so that was very lovely.

McD got the order wrong it was incomplete

Although the place was packed they did get through orders quickly. Prices are good considering every shop in the services are very expensive. Shop sandwich meal deal £7.50 so get yourself a 🍔

Its a McDonalds but not as you expect. Miserable staff, blatantly ignoring customers at the desk and slagging off their colleagues loudly. Awful experience, apart from the cleaner, who was very nice with GREAT customer service skills, unlike the rest of the team!! Disappointed.

It was an ok mcdonalds. Chips weren't great but they were very busy. I don't no if it's there seating area to clean but it wasn't very clean.

Popped in for breakfast. Unfortunately the app wasn't working so we had to order using their self service tills. Used their deliver to the table service. Food was hot as freshly cooked. We didn't get the monopoly stickers when food was delivered but was given them when asked. Will definitely eat there again if we are passing by.

Ok McDonalds, has the table service numbers but no option to use it. Booked eat in but still comes in a bag so seemed fairly pointless to give the option. Didn't fill the drinks to the top. Food was good, as you would expect it to be.

Despite the busy crowd, the staff at this McDonald's were incredibly friendly and efficient. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Definitely recommend for a quick bite on the road!

Food was enjoyable but not all things available on the menu. Once again at MacDonald the milkshakes were not available, suppose it's better than my last visit in Yeovil were the milkshakes were tasteless and watery.

Stopped off here as I was travelling to Dorset. Due to some intolerances, I opted for the porridge. When I tried it, it was tepid to cold in temperature. I took it back to the counter and asked for it to be warmed up, which they did, but it was still on the cold side. The manager then put it in the microwave, and it was hot, so much better. He did apologise and rectified the situation without any fuss. Others in my party had muffins and flat breads and they were great. I also love their coffee compared to Costa. 😊

Very clean and tidy, lovely staff

Although I got the order quickly, the food was hot, but the coffee was warm and had been standing a while, so from that point on a chilly morning not great.

Busy motorway services you can rely on McD's always being the same!

massive amount of free parking for cars lorries caravans and motor homes loads of parking for disabled and loads of disability access ... ladys n gents and disabled toilets always very clean and tidy ... drive through Mcdonald and eating inn area loads of terminals and table ordering also there's a drive through costa and a spa shop that is very good priced for a service station. well worth a stop on both sides of motorway ...

It's awful, it's mcdonalds. There is no atmosphere it's mcdonalds. But the staff are always really helpful keeping in mind that they work in a horrible place with awful food and no atmosphere...and never any hot chocolate....EVER...no idea. However I recommended the fillet of fish...not for me....FOR MY WIFE....forget it millennials, it was before your time ..its a gen x thing.

Had a Big Mac meal, shared most of my chips with a murder of crows though, not sure how they get to make you feel guilty for just eating your dinner, little sideways turn of the head and suddenly you're throwing your dinner on the floor for them to share, never had a pigeon, seagull or crow share their food with me. Anyway none of this is Ronald's fault, so my rating doesn't reflect this, I would recommend eating in though if you want to enjoy all of your meal to yourself.

They were open and serving food after midnight. That's all I wanted. 2 double cheeseburgers and change from £5. That's good enough.

Seating could do with an update

There is a guy, no badge, no nothing, this guy clean the seating area, and after his going to prepare the chips and other food, no washing hands, nothing. Next time i will take a foto., I think is only in the morning, I.m a truck driver and there is my night out, on that service, I.m not eating on that mc never. Sorry but, my eyes are the best review

Like all McDonald's really, good wicket service tho and the food was freshly cooked.

Arrived at about 11pm on a Friday night. The place was filthy - food and left over bags bottles paper etas all over the floor, tables just about everywhere. Having just got off the ferry from Spain where fast food joints were spotless, I was hoping that no Spaniards would pop in to this McDonald’s as would have been highly embarrassed. The staff were lovely however but I have never been in a fast food venue that was so dirty!

It's a fast food joint on the M27. You are only going to eat there as there's nothing else.

The service was very slow, self serve orering machines not working correct and running very slow. Very long time to put order in and long wait for food

Becoming a bit"old hat" these days. Every restaurant has that"MacDobalds Smell", which I think is starting to cause me a kayak irritation!

A classic. 😒 Paid for a quarter pounder, got double quarter pounder... Why does it happen so often across this chain?? Anyway, I asked them for a refund, they wanted to make me a new quarter pounder.. I had to insist on getting my money back while the staff was really reluctant towards this, on top of being simply unfriendly. Finally it succeeded, however, it cost me way too much energy convincing the staff that I really mean what I ask for.. 🤦‍♂️ it's simple, really! Well, lesson learned.

Order took 25mins to arrive and burger and fries were cold. Bins overflowing and tables not wiped clean. food on floor under most tables.

Is what it is motorway services

Fries weren't up to scratch, pale and not crispy. Still cooked but could be better. and they forgot my rich tomato dip!! The best part of cheesy dippers.

After a recent drive through visit following a long horrible drive I used the drive through. I had to go back into the store to collect what was missing from the order. I was helped out quite quickly but the chips were already cold when I got back to the car. I know it was a busy time but McDonalds isn't new to the game and should be performing better.

I have to wait for 10-15 min for 2 burgers All the guys sitting around waiting for the cambelt to bring wraps and burgers

As usual, tasteless burgers that need gherkin for some flavor. Breakfasts ok, along with Mcflurry, only reasons to go. Much better and often cheaper alternatives.

Great place to stop and refresh on the way. Good for family with kids, you can walk your dog around the cafe, sit outside. Toilets a bit busy but still useful.

Really dirty, I had a McMuffin and it wasn’t really great but the seats where horrible not used to and it was really really dirty

Wasn't too busy the day we visited. Seemed clean and tidy. Ordered on screen. Served quickly. Able to sit outside in garden area. Food typical McDonald's which I'm not keen on but the bacon and egg mcmuffin was ok. All tastes like synthetic processed food to me but just my thoughts. Never been able to eat McDonald's or Burger King without the food repeating on me and giving me a headache. Will eat when rest of family are but not my first choice.

Average limp cheap food that is ultra processed. Best to give it a miss!

Very disappointed. Have been there with my friend and his partner also my wife and little one. Been there on our way to Durdle door about 2 weeks ago. Though I ordered 5 burgers for all of which had included one big mac, only 4 were in the pack. We were eating in. Immediately went back to counter with my friend and showed the receipt and asked about it. I am SHOCKED, the service teenage lady said she can't do anything. Then the manage lady with color just frowned towards us saying as the pack been taken from counter to eat in table once, She can't accept make claim. Did she considered me like a Beggar??? Are we all supposed to open our packs one after another in front other customer?? Are all beggars, homeless, thieves making false claims and making McDonald Bankrupt? Paying thousands of tax year to government. Do I need to lie for a burger??????? Does she believe on a Busy motorway someone coming driving here just to falsely claim a burger???? Eventually, I made my point she unwillingly made another burger and was as rude as she could. I WAS SO SHOCKED THAT SHE TREATED ME SUCH A WAY IN FRONT OF MY FAMILY FRIENDS!!!! I tried to forget it but it was killing me from inside. MY REQUEST: PLEASE FEED 50 HOMELESS OR NEEDY PEOPLE WITH BIG MACK AND SEND THE INVOICE TO ME AND I WILL PAY IT.

It was amazing surrounded by other sogres which has a shocking atmosphere and the piece is very high 😂. However generally is it very good the Mcdonald is sick it has a ll the things. A traveler needs I would obviously recommbent it.

Waited 20 minutes for a standard order with no custom changes. Burger was burnt, chips were anemic, and customer service was terrible. Keep driving to either Burley or Winchester, don't waste your time here

It's a McDonald's at a Service Station, what's not to like? Be prepared for queues during busy times!

The same really as most McDonald's, I usually score them well but this particular place the staff didn't seem that interested in what they were doing. We asked for a sausage and egg mc muffin with no cheese , took it to the car to eat because it was such a nice day 🌞 it had cheese in it , went back told the member of staff & asked could we just have a normal bacon roll ? It came in a bag again opened it "SAUSAGE AND EGG" just walked out 😡 don't like to repeat myself again and again.

It's McDonald's, nothing more to say you know it's bad for us but we still get them every now and then.

Just what was required after a early start from Cornwall to pick up are daughter from Portsmouth, plenty of parking and very clean services. The service was faultless very helpful staff and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors well recommended 👌

Came through McDonald's the other day to get a Big Mac and a chicken Big Mac with a oasis is no ice. I was given two beef Big Macs came in to complain a day later to receive my chicken Big Mac and I was told I was not allowed to collect it because I didn't have ringing beforehand disgusting customer service. I've worked at McDonald's for 2 years in the past and I've never seen such bad customer service from any McDonald's I've ever been to in my life.

Just had my first chocolate milkshake this year, having been ill all of last year. It has changed flavour - bitter and not chocolatey at all.

Food was basic for the money. Cheeseburger disgusting. Burger was like warm cheese slap on and smallest amount of relish. Never again will I buy from here.

Typical motorway franchise, nothing bad, nothing great. Update: whoever was making the chips did a poor job. Flaccid, tasteless and obviously there's run out of salt. New update: The plant based burger isn't bad
