McDonald's in Sedgemoor

Clean and tidy dining area. Food was lovely. On a Monday afternoon it wasn't busy neither.

Ridiculously slow, food was cold, and coffee was cold

Staff seem ok, but as we order from a machine you don't really interact with them. My husbands food was good but mine was luke warm and at best edible. Couldn't be bothered to wait in queue again to sort though. Hot chocolate is definitely a better option than the coffee.

Like many other people have stated - this place is awful. Waited 22 minutes for my food and then gave up. No apology. Do not bother with this place - no wonder why they are having financial issues at the moment.

Worse McDonald's restaurant around food always cold presentation terrible lucky to get onions in burger when asked for. 9 times out of 10 I got to re-heat in air fryer. I live 3mins from restaurant food should not be cold🤦‍♂️

I was looking forward to a good morning coffee at McDonalds only to get a cup full of warm milk didn’t taste anywhere near latte. Am set in the car thinking should I go and request another coffee? Just drove off…

Given how busy they were and the fact it is in a motorway service station, the guys here were incredibly efficient. Food was hot, well priced and unlike my local maccies placed in to the boxes/bag and not thrown. If all maccies worked like Sedgmoor then it would make for an overall more pleasant experience.

Good place to get fast and hot food. Staff is respectful and always ready to help.

Visited on the way back from Bristol/South Gloucestershire after our game at Cribbs FC. Friendly staff and lots of room to enjoy a McPlant meal and a welcome latte. I liked the logo visible from M5 as well. Another addition to the database.

It's a fast food motorway stop. It's expensive and not very good.

Standard McDonald's in a service station. A good size with plenty of seating. The food is not fast to be honest. Was a good ten minutes wait. Staff not that friendly or welcoming but the food was good and hot.

Stopped at the services for a break. The services were packed out. I tried to get coffee and food at McDonald's. The ques for ordering and waiting for food were awful and didn't seem to be moving. Gave up.

Mcphilly burger was scrumptious, A little bit untidy but sometimes it is like that especially when busy

Service was quick and great, the food not sure if they have changed the way the food is cooked but it was dripping in oil.

Great food there, But service was very slow i went to pay cash and 2 of the cashiers there didn't even no how to use the cash register so I recommend using the self service checkout. Can fault the food thou.

Services was good, but food was awful,and cold , lack of seating also a another issue that some very close to the self-service area ...I don't think that particular hygienic

Stopped here after long journey it was dirty (as was 90% of the service station and mostly closed)friend got a drink at McDonald's and said behind till was more like a tip than restaurant. I know it was early hours of morning but not an excuse for lack of service. This was the south bound of Sedgemore services.

Couldn't fault our big Mac meals. Tasty, really hot and although very busy were quick to serve with a smile

4 Stars because the chocolate milkshake machine isn’t producing Chocolatey enough milkshakes. I travel the world and they have a chocolate milk shake problem

Probably my worst McDonald's experience. No receipt available. Electronic counter number display not working. Lettuce brown in colour. Could do much better.

Horrendous. I wish we had waited for taunton deane. The food was poor and the service wasn't great either!

For some reason the staff were super lively in Spar and the McD was just what I needed.

Bludi never oder here staff literally one man had ordered for an ice cream for his daughter he had to wait for 20 min than he came came and asked it's was still not ready he had to ask for refund. Even with the delivery driver they don't bother asking they have to wait for nearly 45 min

The machine didn’t print out a receipt or number for us. The food was lukewarm. They ran out of ketchup. The chips were flavourless. The tables were dirty. I usually enjoy a McDonald’s as an occasional treat when driving long distances but this time it was a bad experience. It wasn’t even that busy!

MC D has gone boring same old, portions have gone sparce, the more they try to improve the less pleasing they become.. plus there's way too many kids. Not enough space. Over priced for boring food.

Typical Service Station McDonald's, but everyone in my group who ordered Chicken Nuggets got given more than the number stated, with the person ordering 20 getting 24!

This was a good McDonald’s to visit while you’re traveling down the M5 SB the food was good and hot, not a long wait. They have a nice seating area too.

Great service station. Plenty of shops, food to eat and drink. It was one of the best service stations I've visited.

No worse than any other McDonalds... faster service than any that allows Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat orders, or ones that have a drive-through, so above average on service.

A very busy outlet, likely due to the huge traffic jam on the M5, which brought many travelers here for a break. Unfortunately, we were served a Veggie Deluxe burger with a McChicken patty inside. However, the manager promptly offered a refund and quickly prepared a new Veggie Deluxe for us. Kudos for the great service attitude.

Less than average MacDonalds. Area really grubby. Didn't feel safe at all.

Really good food and service but I sat there on my own and because I sat on my disability scooter at the table and people just sat and straired at me but one young lady did say goodmorning to me and that was nice off her but no-one else even made a effort 👌

Waited 20mins for a cheeseburger and some fries,staff looked miserable. When I finally got my food went straight to the car and it was cold and the bun was still basically frozen. Food went straight in the bin,I'll starve

Dismal double cheese burger. Looked like patties were rolled by a troll. Absolute mayhem (we did hit a peak time). Order was delivered timeously nonetheless.

Sorry to say that the toilets were not as clean as normal, spoke to a member of staff, and was told not my job. Shame because this was a great place to stop. Will not be going again
