McDonald's in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I’m very disappointed as me and my friend were going through the drive through and got called a ‘pair of dogs’ by the manager Morgan me and my friend are deeply upset and can’t believe it we luckily got a full refund from the ever so lovely Tom. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour talking to two young teenage girls.

Standard food. Clean restaurant. Great staff.

Fast service and brought to the table. All good

They forgot 3 out of my nine chicken nuggets AND gave me two medium iced lattes instead of larges. Do better. Also stank like fish

Popped in to study pre work time. Clean and efficient

Drive through was very busy, both lanes open. We had three cars on the left go through while we were waiting to order on the right. I would have thought it would alternate sides? Service when we collected order from window was very disappointing. He was sharp and abrupt. I ordered 20 chicken nuggets. I was given two sauces of my choice. I asked nicely for some more and got two more slumped in my hand. There was no service with a smile. Food wasn't amazing. We live in playing place, I asked why they have stopped delivering and they couldn't answer me. I'm very disappointed, the first solid food I've had in two weeks after a tooth extraction went wrong. Should of ordered pizza instead ☹️

I visit this McDonald's often, and the staff at the window are always polite, sweet, smiling, and kind. They truly enhance the experience and are a real asset to the place. A huge compliment to them for their excellent service, making every visit enjoyable. 5 stars for the amazing staff and 5 stars for the delicious food too!

The app was malfunctioning but the staff weren't so all good, apart from me not receiving the 2nd Hash Brown I paid for!

Over priced poor food, hamburgers not straight, look like they've been sat on. As usual asked for sauces, had to wait in the bay and no sauces in bag. Girl couldn't even smile who handed out food. Manager clearly not checking things

Fries we're cold and burger buns were over cooked ordered a twix latte that didn't taste like a twix latte not satisfied with it to be honest.

I'm a builder i go in to get coffee, told off for making the tiled floor dirty I apologise then moody older lady strted throwing her opinions at me, its to early for this sort of confrontation after I said sorry, still telling me off like a moody mum lol then in mid moan told off school kids for being kids?thought customer was right?thought macdonalds staff where support to be friendly? Well j won't be wasting my money there anymore.

The atmosphere was bespoke and fine tuned

The people can’t do there jobs, don’t have a clue and can’t read English and can’t do the orders as asked and forgets half the orders and then tell you they can’t do anything about it, absolutely useless place filled with useless people

The Big Mac bday burger was awesome

Recently had a double cheeseburger (if that's what it's called), as my son likes an occasional MacD if we're pushed for time. Frankly it was tasteless. The "burgers" had no seasoning, and were indistinguishable from cardboard. We all know that what you get bears no resemblance to the advertising posters. But the lack of flavour/taste was astonishing! Absolutely awful.

Order wrong, just mess everything up

Most of the time a good service and the branch and site is kept clean ish, But im avoid mcdonals because its becom very expensive for what it is.

fries are always not cooked enough i know you guys are probably always in a rush especially at tea time but is it that hard to make sure everything is good and worth the value of money ppl are paying.I just came back from this mc donalds and the milkshake i payed for is ruined, it came with the syrup sat at the bottom unmixed with no straw i had to come home to get a straw and stir it up and it became a very dark pink i am disappointed to say at the most !!However, we didnt have a problem with having to wait for our food for a long amount of time.

Food cold. Strawberry milkshake was 95% strawberry and bottom was 5% chocolate at the bottom. Crazy. All I got was 'sorry bout that'.

All because of Grant, a trainee who gave us better customer service than any fancy restaurant. We’ve been here over 100 times and grants approach on the drive thru was fantastic! We hope to see more people like grant.

Just been back for a breakfast & burgers was very greasy but otherwise OK Disappointed as my hot drink was handled 4 times and was stuck on internal counter by several people! After all we have been through about bacterial & viral cleanliness with no handling stuff just hope they all had clean hands!? Only to have it handed to myself by the person who made it after sitting there for a while! Does this look like a yummy toffee latte but I had to run back to hospital as I had just been called.

Quick service but got the order wrong twice.

Rude staff, poor management and constantly getting orders wrong which is also often cold 🥶 it's very clear they simply just don't care about their customers or the food that is being prepared, worst branch I have ever visited in cornwall unfortunately it's my nearest.

Well done guys! Best McDonald's burger I've had and nuggets were spot on! Came in 15 mins before closing through the drive through and GRANT the trainee was so cheerful and is a true asset to the team. Well done 👍

Ordered through app and food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. They sorted an issue with incorrect item ( chicken nuggets instead of selects) quickly

Food is always served piping hot unlike many other branches. Staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile. The Drive Thru service was very slow, but again staff made up for it with their friendliness. Very useful for a quick pit-stop. As a pescatarian, I did struggle a fair bit, as I highlighted below. It would be great to see more vegetarian options in future.

my trip to mcdonald’s truro was unfortunately ruined by a certain member of staff who circled the restaurant and shouted at anyone she could find a problem with. Multiple people in this restaurant had complained about her on the day but apparently this is a common theme with this member of staff. After me and my friends had payed for a big meal we sat down but unfortunately one of our friends could not afford a meal so was snacking on our food and having small snacks of his own dinner. we are fully aware of the rule of eating in the restaurant without mcdonald’s food and wouldn’t have mind being told if this staff member wasn’t so patronising and rude, explaining that she would kick us out if we didn’t comply. She then approached a young boy who had a chocolate bar and shouted at him saying “put it in your lunchbox now”. this is a mcdonald’s restaurant not alcatraz… people do not deserve to be spoken to in this manner, especially not young people. This is unacceptable behaviour and people do not need to feel threatened in a mcdonald’s menu. Hey! at least she gave gordon ramsey a run for his money.

Great McDonald's very busy but found parking and seating. Visited around 2pm. Food was good.

We ordered as it was not that bisy we thought it would not take long we ordered are meal and was told to wate in the bay as there was a queue behind us we sat in the wateing bay for 24 mins then some bloke come out didn't say anything past the food through the window and left no sorry for the wate or anything then the chips we had was cold and the chicken nuggets was warm the only thing was nice was the drink won't be going back there 😡😡and will tell all my family .

Always busy enough to get something wrong with the order, but the food is good enough that I still go back.

The food wasn't packing too good. packed sloppily, the rolls are often not wrapped in paper, they look as if they were placed on paper. When you take a burger from the bag, it falls out of the paper. this is often the case

Drove in for a McFlurry and a strawberry milkshake. Queued for ages. No McFlurrys again! So went for a chocolate milkshake instead. Got charged over £5 for 2 medium milkshakes. Drive away with a banana milkshake instead of the strawberry. So got charged a lot of money and waited a long time to not even get what we wanted! Very disappointed!

Busy place, as the college is opposite. Good food. Fast service and fresh.

It's maccys you get decent food at decent prices

Came to McDonald’s and received our takeaway. The chips were thrown in the bag on their side carelessly so they were already spilling out. We had to the wait for them to repack the order.

Ordered McDelivery breakfast at 10:40. They kept me waiting until 12:10 only to tell me they had cancelled my order. Not impressed!

Absolute disgrace, always something broken or not working, flurry machine, milkshake machine. Waste of time, when I asked for burger sauce, they drowned my burger, awful place. 😖 Its now 2023 and the milkshake machine is still broken, apparently, or maybe they're too lazy to clean it. Here again April 2024...and what a surprise....the milkshake machine is broken, order was wrong and chips were cold. No serviettes or sauce offered.....where the job pride????

Great place to get food on the go. The staff are also very good at their jobs. Had a particularly pleasing encounter with Cameron.

This branch was completely overwhelmed when we arrived. We had pre ordered on the app but our order was not ready and we were parked up. After waiting for ages an order arrived but it wasn't ours. Sent it back then my partner went inside to see where our order was. It was in a long, long list of orders waiting to be fulfilled. We finally got our order but found no napkins dips or milk in the bag. Disappointed that the staff were working so hard but struggling so much to keep up. Overwhelmed with orders, both people in branch but also the Ubereats drivers waiting.

Full of students as you might expect being so close to the college. The staff clear the queues really quickly which is great

I only had a coffee but it wasn't the cleanest McDs I've been to.

Used the self service order point with the help of a very helpful member of staff. Order simple very quickly, enjoyed the meal.

Wish I could leave no star... everytime I order I am praying to get the sauces I order, straws etc. Sometimes I get things I didn't actually order. Less laughing and messing about behind the counters and more paying attention to the actual job would be better. Ridiculous. It's not that hard to get an order together....

The staff here are lovely and have to deal with some absolute ratbags. The customer shouting abuse tonight made me feel so sad for these poor guys and girls who do their best. Loved my food tonight. Chin up guys x

Other than waiting in the queue to place a drive through order, and the car that arrived after I was asked to wait, was served instantly and went to the window while I was still waiting to be served, which really pi&&ed me off,..... other than that, everything was OK My pet hate is people pushing in front of others when queuing.

Well todays visit wasn't all that great 😕 with my birthday only days away I had a voucher for a £1.49 sandwich of my choice, totally disappointed 😞 it was cold even the cheese was cold, I took it back and the manager was very swift in replacing my food but to be honest although it was hot my meal was already ruined!! I am sad as the last time I visited this particular restaurant the food service was quick, my food was hot and real well prepared. Soooo upset about this. But well done to the manger for replacing my food so very swiftly.

It's OK if ..if you don't mind getting the wrong order

Arrived at drive-through at 10:55 only to find they'd already closed. Supposed to be open till 11:00. If you are advertised as being open till a certain time you should be. Disappointed.

I ordered 40 sweet and sour sauces and they gave me one, now I can't feed my family, why would you let me order that many if I can't receive that many

Drive trough was a joke. Used App code to order a burger and drink with nuggets on a deal. Had to go into the store to point out they had not given the nuggets. At this point they tried charging me again for the nuggets. When I left I also found that they'd given me the wrong burger too. Terrible service, worth travelling on to the next food stop or just going to Pizza Hut next door.

Always seems to be a problem with their milkshake machine compared to all other macdonnalds in the area. Management needs to get a grip.

Got a meal via the drive thu and the 2 ladies at the window working on the 1st of Jan 2024 at 11:39am Both are always polite, sweet, full of smiles, very kind, and extremely beautiful. This is the worst McDonald’s ever. Always stone cold with half the order missing. Also had the hash browns a few weeks back and they tasted so Weird… won’t be ordering again.

Ordered happy meal and a cheeseburger from drive thru in Truro , received a bun with cheese, onions and ketchup ......no burger , absolutely useless

Eat in. Food delivered by someone who appeared to want to be somewhere else. No communication. No serviettes. Getting serviettes was apparently too much trouble. Had to ask twice. At table meal served in a bag? If the restaurant had been busy I would have understood. Poor.

My boyfriend is still waiting for food which he ordered at 9:18pm. Now it’s 9:49pm. It’s not fast food, it’s the worst McDonald’s ever. Customers can’t see kitchen, that’s the reason why they do everything so slowly!

I ordered a meal on the mc donalds app for delivery on the 3rd of this month which I was waiting for for a while just for them to say order cancelled and a refund will be issued I have just called them today to find out what is going on with the refund and said they need to find some other company to deliver for them as it was the currier that cancelled the order

Dreadful, cold, not so fast food. Coffee was cold and everything was too much trouble. Good customer service counts for a lot but even that was cold 🥶

I ordered at 10:35am on the McDonald app for breakfast and the initial estimated delivery was 11:15am which is fine as I only live 6mins drive away. Then it changed to 11:50am and then 12:20pm. I called the Mc Donald store and they said it is third party nothing they can do about. I asked for a contact number of Uber since they work together and he said he doesn’t have. I searched for the number on the FAQ, no one is picking my calls. My breakfast isn’t here, my money isn’t returned either. This whole process is disappointing and dissatisfactory. As I type this no one is picking up my calls nor food. Absolute poor service !

slow service, the chips were luke warm even tho we had wsited about 7mins for food, Philly cheese stack tasted like a normal cheese burger... For gods sake, up your game and make supposedly special meals taste WOW... not Huh!! :0(

This is not because I attended the restaurant, is because how small and very hard to be available in a crowded day, and because it the only one in that area. I couldn't take pictures because was a lot of children's attending.

What happened to fast food? Spent 30 minutes in the drive thru queue with about 6 cars in front of me, then was still asked to park up and wait… for ONE item. Like seriously, speed up.

Whoever was working today 15/11/23 was absolutely lovely. And that goes for all 3 members of the team we spoke to via drive-through. Food was perfect

Went to the drive through and got a couple of kids meals. Was told there was no milkshake available ( never is from my experience). Food was average and just about warm. Staff member looked and sounded very miserable ( maybe I should've bought him a happy meal and see if it worked). Would only recommend this place as a way to keep kids quiet.

We arrived 10pm after we found ourselves passing down the road and hungry. There were only 6 customers in the place (we were 2 of them) and just a few cars going through the drive through. The dining room was fairly untidy. Lots of messy tables, bins literally overflowing and they were long past being emptied. Lots of staff appeared to be behind the countertop I couldn't see why the room was in such a mess. We ordered 20 chicken nuggets and one chips to share. The food was luke warm. I ordered white coffee. The lid said it was white, but there was no milk in it. I returned this and was given a large in its place as compensation. This was the only thing we had that was hot. I felt like the food and drinks had stood for some time before they were served to us. Not impressed with the quality at all however the staff appeared friendly. Won't be back.

We don't usually get McDonald's, but as we were passing, we thought we'd give the drive through a go and grab something to eat. After we ordered, they asked us to wait in a waiting bay as our food wasn't ready. The food came quickly, and before we left, we checked that we had everything. On a quick glance, it seemed everything was there. But when we got we were missing dips and we asked them not to put meat pattys in two of the burgers as they were for a vegetarian but they for some reason left a meat patty in both burgers so they had to be thrown away. The burger buns looked awful as if they had been squished and heavily grilled, and the fries were hard. Definitely an awful experience and a complete waste of money. If it wasn't completely out of my way to go back, i would demand a refund. We won't be going there again, 1 star.

Absolutely shocking, working at mcdonalds is the lowest of the low but imagine getting orders wrong working at mcdonalds, you are literally bottom of the barrel worker's, you deserve no more than national minimum wage, absolute waste of space the lot of yas, evrrytime I order food, things missing or order completely wrong, what a bunch of drop outs
