McDonald's in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Slow service, missing items and you get parked up every time! It's been over 2 years and the service has never improved. Worst McDonald's in the country!

Great coffee and egg muffin meal. Staff friendly.

I thought mc Donald's was fast food but waited over 10 minutes for my food.

Consistently poor service with missing items, incorrect sizes and, if you use the restaurant and not the drive through, long delays as they prioritise the drive through. We always check our orders now to make sure they haven't missed anything. Tonight they got every item but when we got home we found the six nugget meal had only five nuggets, the large chips was actually only a medium, and the large and the medium hot chocolates we ordered were both well short of being full and more or less the same size (25ml difference - yes I measured them!). The drinks were also watery and almost undrinkable. Really, really poor. It was excellent when it opened. I hope the owners read this and sort it out.

Don't really eat McDonald's much and after visiting this one it hasn't really changed my mind, inside it was chaos loads of people waiting for orders, orders getting shouted out but no one to collect, I'm sorry but this is not great experience or food

It's a McDonalds. We occasionally stop off here for a bite to eat. Service has always been pretty quick. Standard McDonald's food. Staff are actively and visibly keeping the place clean. Ample parking.

Absolutely disgusting attitudes here. Ordered large fries, & 3 selects with ketchup and only gave one?! Went back and it was as if these come out their wages and was responded with "only one on the receipt". Asked for some extra pickles and oh my it was as if I'd asked to see her naked thought ely was bad! This place tops them. Sort it out

We love our local McDonald's. Whenever we eat inside we have little to no problems, food comes hot. If there is some problem we clgo to the counter and it gets sorted. Kids like their trip to McDonald's

I cannot believe I wasted my time and money at this establishment. If you're looking for a lesson in incompetence, this is the place to go. The staff seems to be in a perpetual state of confusion, and their knowledge about their own products is laughable at best. The service was painfully slow, as if they were trying to break a world record for the longest wait time and still get every order wrong. Using an App to speed up the service doesn't appear to be of any help or use and each code provided is not located on there system and having to re-order again losing my offers when redeeming points and having to pay more money.

Food is good when the order is right as it seems every visit something is wrong or missing , which is very annoying when you have done a full shift at work , gone through the drive through, driven home and your order is wrong on more than one item in the bag , fries missing , wrong burger , no burger . We have even had no burgers in the bun .

Drive through meal. Staff continue taking orders but have 4 cars already parked up waiting, told to park in main carpark and they would bring food out. Slow.

Service is ridiculously slow, fast food is not in their vocabulary. Staff are also rude and useless. Average wait on food is 10 to 20 minutes

Easily the slowest and worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Sort it out McDonald's. Slow service in drive thru and inside. Missing items regularly. Cold food. Go elsewhere.

It's quite slow for fast food, also, it's been more then 3 times when they have been messing up my order and I had to go back. Staff are generally very polite and nice and customers are all well behaved. Once I get my correct food, it tastes delicious. Very disappointed, they locked the play ground because secondary school had 1/2 day!!!! My little one was looking forward to play in there as it was sunny day.

Workers shouting, only three of them. Not one of them are wearing hairnet. Hair falling out of hats as well, possible way for hair to fall in food. very very long wait time.

Waited over half an hour for just 2 hash brown and 2 mc muffins, then got told we couldn't have capachino we ordered , worst mcdonalds I have ever been too, loads of people were complaining

Service soooo slow, restaurant dirty, no ketchup, frappe has soooo much ice in it not blended gone right down hill staff not give a crap

Grande Bic Mac, over £7 for a meal, no lettuce, onion or sauce on the bottom, so it was basically just a cheeseburger. Really wasn't pleasant, not the first time from here either. I had to wait around ten mins for it to be made, unfortunately it was made really badly! UPDATE: Ordered a few burgers for an easy family meal and 3 of them were burnt black.

Coffee was cold had to get them to re do it. Sat outside and it was smelly. As McDonald's go not the best.

Updated - I don’t know what goes on here as the staff are always lovely but the wait times are often 20 mins plus. You need more staff! Defeats the point of fast food.

Popped in here yesterday morning at about 1030 on my way to Hunstanton. Ordered a breakfast wrap on its own. It took TWENTY FIVE MINUTES. There was a few other people who had been waiting even longer. how long does a wrap take to slap together 😂🤦‍♂️ 2 or 3 people came back whilst i was waiting with wrong orders/missing items. Looks like it run by a bunch of under 20 year olds with hangovers from the night before all looked gormless and clueless. Wrap was absolutely kaked in ketchup aswell barely edible. Wont ever come here again lol

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Never had a hot meal yet. Wait times are ridiculous, orders ALWAYS missing items and stone cold, Rude staff with no manners or personality whatsoever. Kids outdoor area never open before lunchtime and if you ask for someone to open it you get a heap of huffing and puffing and the death stare! There always a horrible sewer smell inside too.. Avoid.

Every time I attend this McDonald’s I am spoken to by a member of the team about writing surveys in reward for free products. You feel generally peer pressured into doing them. I understand that the store is probably measured on its KPI’s but there is a way to do it which does not push the customer. Instead of getting members of the team to come over to the table after the food has been served and in mid conversation (this happened multiple times) get them to have the conversation on delivery of the food to the table or when collecting at the front of store. Interns of products it is relatively similar to most McDonald’s however the cheeseburger quality tends to be a lot lower with most of them looking squished by a machine press. Also they tend to under fill the drinks here which make me you feel Abit cheated. There is a full line on the cup but this was far below this line . Interns of cleaning is acceptable however you would expect better from a recently built McDonald’s restaurant.

Just not set up for vegetarians… my wife ordered veggie dippers and it took them 30 minutes to serve them.

Food is okay, cheap and handy if you need something add an odd hour or on the road.

Sensational chicken selects! I’ve never tasted the spices so fragrantly before. The chips were hot and cooked to perfection. The sweet and sour dip transformed the meal. Only downside is unfortunately the service for the others in my group was slow as they seemed to have forgotten their order. But overall, it was a top class McDonald’s

This place is rubbish ,they need to clean up their restaurant drop the attitudes and not take 20-40 minutes to make and order honestly quite angry one staff member decides to say to me I got my order“40 mins ago”no luv it took 40 minutes to get to more because they were mincing around in the smoking area so no wonder the food was cold.Honestly this place needs to sort it out and get better service!

Once again asked for freshly made food. Chips hot & lovely - burger clay cold. Couldn't be bothered to have conversation so left. Why can't McDonald's produce hot food. There are regulations in place - don't they/authorities check?! It's not rock science so come on if it's below 63° throw it don't give it to customers

The worst McDonald’s in the area. Every time I have been here it has taken a good 20 plus minutes to get food that’s ordered. My recent visit, Sunday morning, we ordered breakfast at 1055. 1100 our number appears on the screen to collect, we stood waiting and 15 minutes later we still hadn’t received our food. Someone who had been through the drive through came in as she had been waiting 20 minutes, she got her food about 5 minutes later. My partner then went up to ask where ours was, the guy looked at as and was like ‘I’ll go check’ and didn’t return. Somebody else then complained to which they were told ‘breakfast orders need to be served first’ but then she was given her main menu order whilst we still stood waiting for our breakfast. 1120 we finally got our bag of food, no apology just a poor excuse of ‘we were waiting on hash browns’! The food itself was lukewarm, hash browns not cooked properly! Why is this the slowest fast-food restaurant in existence?!

Quick stop after a long day fishing. 100% the best maccies we ever been to.Never had such hot, perfectly salted fries, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And the big Mac nicely put together, not slapped together like you get at other maccies. Even the chicken selects were nice and crispy and not overcooked and dry. Service was quick and restaurant was clean and there was no chaos or screaming. Honestly, whoever was on the friers at 17:40 on monday 8th july deserves a raise!

Shockingly bad service! 30 minutes wait for a cold burger! Sort it out.

If a zero star existed this McDonald's would be striving for it. Waited 10 minutes at drive through no acknowledgment so came in. . Stood at the order point while being ignored as an employee rifled through a box. Had to grab attention to even order. Everything looks like pure chaos behind there and trash everywhere as I wait for my meals. Not even sure it's coming at this point... And added bonus doesn't accept legal tender cash 🫠 This place is a bad fever dream.

Always check what is packed with you, you may not be without burgers when you get home. It's not nice to be lied to

Food tasty but salad was served with no dressings at all as nothing available

Quick stop on the journey home and both of us commented on the food, so often very poor but this outlet was different, hot, fresh and tasty. However what made it for me was Emma who went out of her way to help us and with a wonderful smile and attitude, keep her at all costs she is a real asset.

Every time I end up parking in car park surely cook enough in busy times it not rocket science. Its not like it comes hot anyway

No delivery, disappointing to say the least, get a delivery sorted and then maybe more stars. So after checking I see no delivery has been available, so poor, pointless addition to the town that offers subpar services.

As pet below comments..waited 15 minutes..Had to knock on the hatch..thins missing off the order by the 3rd item gave up. Only went there as my 86 year mum wanted a cheese burger. Wimpy all the way...

Ordered food from Downham market McDonalds. Picked the food up, the order was wrong, ordered chicken select, we got chicken nuggets. We called them to explain, they agreed to redo the order. Went to collect it again, given a box of chicken select, only to discover more chicken nuggets. We called to tell them what they’d done, and the employee insisted we’d been given chicken select, she knew that because she’d packed the order! All I can think is they were either out of chicken select, or they don’t know the difference. Either way, all our meal was spoiled because food went cold trailing about and what we ended up with wasn’t what we wanted. Do overall, staff with attitude, poor service and not getting the order right twice means that we will not be in any hurry to repeat our experience- this is one McDonald’s branch to avoid!

Younger members of my family, at times, enjoy a Mcdonalds. This Macdonalds has improved lately, with staff being pleasant and smiley, instead of grumpy. Lately, any orders have been correct. Personally, as a vegetarian, I do not enjoy a Macdonalds. Options for veggies are unimaginative and boring!!

Slowest McDonald's on earth and constantly getting my orders wrong!!!!! Be prepared to get parked whilst queues are non-existent, and then feel like you've been forgotten about whilst you then wait another 10-15 minutes for a mcmuffin. Instead, keep driving on and stop at Hardwick or Ely

Not very good tonight was only four of us in. The fries where not hot but not cold but not very good and the crispy chicken was abit over cooked and no ice cream said the machine had broke down o dear.

Went there today ordered on the app for table delivery 25 mins later I had to complain my meal had not arrived only to be told sorry but we are really busy I pointed out people had arrived after me and were already eating The lady then asked the other staff where the meal for table 13 was ? The reply I received was to screw up the number 13 on the tray and say they had tried to deliver it but no reply I hadn’t moved from the table there was a heated discussion where I was told I just had to wait I was so disgusted I put on my coat and left No meal nothing and it seems no way to get a refund either

Food was what you'd expect, restaurant itself is just a typical modern McDonalds with nothing really making you welcome or feel very comfortable. Service was very slow

Probably the worst maccies in the UK. rarely get your order right, especially when ordering home delivery. Order a latte - get a cup of warm milk, order a breakfast roll - get a bacon roll, order a burger - don’t get the burger. This is the problem with making young inexperienced people managers, managing people around the same age who really don’t want to be there and have no concept of customer satisfaction.

Fast food services, are becoming the norm for getting it wrong on delivering the food in drive throughs. Buns were stale/maybe over toasted, crushed and wrappers falling off. Fries cold- knowing we are driving away and can't complain.

Remember when McDonald’s used to be fast and cheap? I just about can, but certainly nobody in this branch can. Ordering machines had no receipt paper, which normal wouldn’t be an issue except I waited a couple of ice ages for my food, once I had thawed out and my food appeared I had completely forgotten my order. The lovely assistant however gave me a really sincere “apology” about how long I waited. It was so sincere it reminded me of when you’re forced to say thanks to your nan for knitting you a jumper instead buying you a Nintendo game for Xmas. I also particularly enjoyed what I assume is a manager berating her staff to “work harder” as it’s “not good enough” which was audible to everyone in the restaurant, drive through and probably the rest of downham. But nothing like bullying spotty teenagers to make your own failings as a manager feel less significant

Probably the worst McDonalds, and that's saying something! Really slow service, 25 minute wait for a Filet O Fish meal, which was cold when it finally arrived. Surly staff who obviously don't want to be there. Awful food, staff and atmosphere.

This is a very popular venue,good food hygiene and a quick turn around, all in all a good experience.

So considering a cheeseburger is part of the 'Happy Meal' I don't think anything had made me so depressed in my life and I've been to war in Iraq! It literally looked like it had been under Apoos counter just like the weiner Home ate in the simpsons! After receiving therapy for this traumatic event I set about complaining! Mcdonalds complaint process is nearly impossible to carry out, to the point I gave up. I miserably ate my ugly burger as I was famished!!! Sort it out Ronald Mcdonald.

Drive through, food quick but coffee took 5 minutes after being asked to park at second window. Done via app so not particularly happy but maybe a one off.

Extremely rude "manager" waited ages for food that had been ordered via the app. Then apparently they didn't have one item we had ordered, which took 4 members of staff to discuss, then was offered a refund by aforementioned manager, who became very rude when I questioned why it took so long for them to work out they didn't have if, or indeed needed 4 people. To which she replied "do you want your refund?"

Hands down, the worst McDonalds I've been to. Service is always slow, either sitting in or ordering via app, have never waited less than 20 minutes. And this is regardless of how busy the place is - it can be empty and you still wait the same time! Orders are frequently missing items and is usually spotted by us when we get home, meaning we have to go back to collect it and by the time we're back, the rest of it is cold. We went through a spell where this happened 4 visits in a row. Milkshakes are always spilling out of the lids, dripping down the side and leaving a mess. And the chocolate one always tastes of chocolate.

Fast food this isn't. Downham Market McDonald's must hold the record for the slowest service across the franchise. P.S. They screwed my order up, typically only found out after I'd driven away. Small mistake but disappointing.

Don't stop keep going, cold food, your order not what you asked for, items missing. Had a good number of meals and all not right. So will not stop at this one again. Never have I had anything like this before.....

For a new McDonald's is dirty and run by young kids that done want to be there. Always waiting for food for ages. No organisation. Done 3 visits will NOT being doing another. Very poor services
