it's a very nice place to go but make sure you have the budget, food is very expensive and the wait times are quite a bit, nails the taste though.

I have not been to one before and have to say from start to finish I enjoyed the service. We went for breakfast at about 10.30 and they were already busy however we got greeted and seated straight away with multiple welcomes for different staff. The menu was good and suitable for all but a tad pricey. It's one of those places I can deal with the price for the venue. Booth seating is always a bonus. The meal was average but didn't spoil the experience. I would go again but more for an occasional trip. Excellent service!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon at around 3:30pm, it was relatively quiet and we was seated quickly. The service at this establishment is extremely efficient, the starters and deserters arrived within 3-4 minutes of ordering them. The food is of good quality and great for meat lovers. Our server Elisha was polite, friendly and very professional. Would recommend this place. Only improvement suggestion is the sauces they give you come in a paper sauce pots like you get at McDonald’s, it would be better if they came in a metal dip pot. Would visit again.

The food was great although for a £25 meal I did expect the chicken wings to be a bit better, service was amazing. We had Nicky as our server, she was friendly and quick. We will come again :)

We like it here. It's a little distance from where we live so we don't visit too often however always a stop off if we are passing. Sometimes the Ely Arbuckles but also the Downham Arbuckles. Parking has always been available 👍 (sometimes busy) Meet and greet is always prompt at the door 👍 We generally walk in however some people may chose to book. Great Menu 👍 Great choice👍 Reasonably priced. Portions can be LARGE and now we often have a couple of starter portions and a side or two. Service is good and staff look happy in their roles 👍

We had constantly been recommended this particular branch of Arbuckles and me being me, I was dubious as I'm a fussy eater and have high expectations when I go out to eat. We were warmly welcomed, given a choice of where to sit and informed who would be serving us. Our waitress experience was great, although just a suggestion that all waiting staff should be knowledgable around each menu item. I had tuna steak with salad (they were happy to accomodate my requests for a salad swap) and generally, tuna is overcooked, dry and tasteless, but this was the opposite, cooked to perfection and all food and dressings seemed freshly made. My partner had a mac & cheese burger and he was really pleased too with his choice. I tasted some of the pattie and it was lovely and obviously freshly made on the premises, which is a rareity. All in all, the experience was great! Also gave us a Blue Light Card discount and we will definitely be back.

Food was absolutely delicious, and they cater well for coeliacs. It's so nice as a coeliac to be able to go somewhere and know the food is enjoyable and safe to eat. So lucky I don't live far from here!

Perfect for the bunch of teenagers, and the adults enjoyed it too. Very much the big food experience - with great service, large group and everything turned up together.

Another fabulous visit. Birthday breakfast for my bestie. We went for the big breakfast with a couple of personal adjustments and well done bacon. Absolutely spot on. Accompanied by several americanos, a pot of Earl Grey tea, and iced tap water. It was a long overdue catch-up, so we were insitu for 3 hours and chatting for ages before deciding what to eat. Our normal. As usual, though, the staff were very accommodating of our delays, changes, and advised us that there was absolutely no need to rush!! We've always found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The toilet facilities are very good, including accessible and baby changing options. They have their own car park with accessible bays and ramps. We hadn't booked as mornings are usually quiet unless there's a planned event. It gets very busy of an evening so I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

We had a great family meal. It’s not cheap but great food. huge portions, and amazing service. Totally worth the cost, one of the best meals I have had in a long time.

Used to be so much better, food was OK at best no seasoning on any of the food was very flavourless and definitely shouldnt be famous for there ribs, cheap chips to fill the plate. Worst bit was the dessert my partners looked nice but mine came out a sad soggy mess which tasted raw on the bottom when asked if it was under cooked was told " they are not made here we buy them in then just heat them up" which then made me question the rest of the meal but on that note they did take the dessert back and didnt charge me for it. Overall main was OK dessert was awful and the price for what you get isn't worth it, doute I'll be going back anytime soon

Yet another delicious meal. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have cancer and am undergoing chemotherapy and the manageress realising this very kindly put me in a spot that kept me away from other people as much as possible which was in incredibly thoughtful. The food arrived lovely and hot and very well presented. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. Thoroughly recommend it.

Treated myself to a quick lunch here on my way back from a work meeting. I used to love the Arbuckles chain back in the day, so was excited to try this restaurant - it didn't disappoint 🙂

Food is excellent, portions are huge. Great menu whether you want burgers, steaks, chicken, pasta or other meals. The staff are attentive & polite. The lay-out is comfortable with lots of booths so you and your dining company have plenty of privacy.

The food was tasty and portion sizes good. The vegan options are a little limited if you don't like jackfruit but otherwise a lovely venue with great service.

A lovely establishment who were very supportive of allowing my son's registered support dog access so we could have breakfast. The food was delicious and came quickly. The staff were very kind and engaged. The place was spotlessly clean. I only wish there was another restaurant from this chain closer to home as we visited on the return leg of a holiday.

My son loves a burger and wings. And it's not far from where I live, so it's not a bad stop off. It's friendly and quick service.

Always a solid and tasty breakfast! The bacon done on the grill as amazing and it’s not that flimsy rubbish you get in most places. Service is always friendly, coffee always good and don’t feel rushed to leave. We haven’t been for lunch or dinner yet but we do like a stop off before our Saturday shopping! See you soon for dinner!

I last went to Arbuckles with my late dad in the 90s when it was a themed restaurant with eating challenges etc. Today its good food, family friendly and reasonable.

Every time I've been here it has been pretty good. But it just takes 1 bad experience to change your view forever. We went tonight as a group of 6. Waitress came over and took our order, when the food got served the waitress clearly realised she had forgotten to write my order down. She blamed it on a printing error at the till. She asked me to repeat my order at time of serving everyone else. Everyone else had finished by the time my food arrived. They gave me a free pint as a sorry, when server brought my pint she made a quip about me forgetting to order. The server clearly didn't have any rapport with us to make such a quip, so really not a good experience for me. As for the food, I got lucky (ish,) I asked for rare and got medium rare on the steak which is perfect, i've learnt at places like this to ask for less than you want temperature wise, the chicken was hard and tasted of cardboard, the pork tasted like it had been cooked on a grill that had been not cleaned for 10 years, burnt and covered in black crusted grill charcoal. Its unlikely I'll return soon due due to this terrible experience, disrespectful staff. I honestly wish I'd made more of a fuss about it at the time as this is quite an expensive place to eat, so I would expect food to be 3 stars plus, and serive to be near 5 stars perfect. Unfortunately it was not, im a little regretful I'm too polite to cause a public scene over the staffs rude remarks and sub par food not delivered to the group all together. The group still left a tip, not a very big one as not deserving, tip was still more than a free pint....

This restaurant is quite consistent with the food and service. Now they have removed many of the bright lights from the restaurant area it is quite pleasant.

Couldn't fault my experience here, our waiter Chris was avso brilliant, polite, kind, funny. Fast service, alway made sure we was okay and happy. From what I witnessed the other staff are lovely and kind aswell and the managers are very kind and friendly. Would rate this 10/10 more if I could 😂😂🙌🎉

The decor and customer service were great, but the food was horrible. I got the Sticky bbq chicken burger. It was dryer than eating a t-shirt, although I think the t-shirt would've had more seasoning on it than that chicken. I also had the sweet potato fries, which were cold. My husband and our two friends had ribs that were cold, unseasoned, and somehow dry as well. This is a place for drinks and nice servers, maybe, but not for food.

Table for three on a Monday evening for a small family meal, 04/12/2023 and it was pretty busy! Received at the door immediately, gave us a booth for six so loads of room. Immediate drinks order & quick service of same. Food order for starters & mains taken. All the food was excellent, cooked as per order and piping hot. Service excellent, staff cheery & friendly. The place was spotless, couldn't fault anything at all. First time for us in Downham Market 'Arbuckles' but as we are only a half hour drive away, we will definitely be back, hopefully, with friends. Starters: tacos & chicken wings. Mains: sirloin stick (medium); steak (rare) & chicken combo; Philli burger. All terrific. 5 stars.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, really attentive, but the food was overpriced pub chain quality.

Service was good, food was OK...my issue here is that I paid the bill and never got a receipt, only to be approach by the waitress and told I had paid the wrong bill and that I owed more for my food....pretty sure I was scammed as upon reflection the amount of food we ordered..did not reflect the amount.
