Extremely good food and fast service. Cocktails were nice too! We had the Chicken Fajitas and Bourbon Ribs and they were both lovely. Thank you very much Lauren for lovely time! She was very friendly

It was ok, just ok though … I was a bit limited being pescatarian but main was ok, desserts were rubbish, clearly frozen and the baked cheesecake was horrid. Also didn’t like the fact the waitress kept leaning over us - we were in a round table in the corner but still plenty of space to go around. Staff were very friendly and helpful though despite being very busy.

Another visit to Arbuckles at Downham Market and once again the experience was very good, with prompt and very friendly service. The starters were very tasty and enjoyable, the mains we had were very tasty and of a good size. The desert I chose was not good, banana split which was drowned in cream from a can. Had a nice evening with great service as always.

30th meal 8 adults 6 children... served well and efficiently . Food was great too .

Arbuckle's is just amazing! Every visit has been wonderful. All the staff are always very helpful and friendly. Their breakfast menu is amazing! We've had many items from that menu over our visits and liked every dish. Overall a really lovely place to dine and one that I have no reservations in recommending to anyone!

We love Arbuckles and visit for special occasions as it takes us about 45/50 minutes to get there. The food is always delicious and brilliant quality. There's something for everyone. It's always busy but the layout doesn't make it feel overwhelmingly busy. Also despite this there's not a long wait on food. The service we received on this visit was 2nd to none with Lisa being our main waitress. She was lovely and made our visit all the better. We will definitely be back. Only took a pic of my drink as wanted to dig in as soon as the food arrived.

Friendly welcome from the minute we stepped through the door. Prompt service, very attentive staff (not too much though). We ordered one Farmhouse breakfast, an orange juice and two coffees. Breakfast was rated as excellent, fresh and clean. We also asked for two sausages for our dog in the car, which were brought out in a little box so they could cool down while we were dining! Happily recommend, would definitely re-visit. Oh and our lovely waitress is Nicky.. Thank you ☺️

We stopped here for breakfast today, good variety on the breakfast menu and food was lovely. The waitress was called Nicky, she was fantastic, always attentive and great with our 3 year old daughter, she wanted something that wasn't on the menu but this was not a problem and they accommodated without any fuss. The food was great but the staff is what really made this breakfast a treat!

One of our favorite places to visit when we are in the area. The service is always fantastic and nothing feels like too much trouble. Plus the way the espresso martinis are made here is to die for 😍 Highly recommend getting the wings as your main! Portions are good size and I always end up taking half of my dinner home with me for later. Can't wait to be able to visit again.

Usually good, today poor! Chicken burgers very dry, waited 20+ minutes finishing no server in sight to be cleared away. Had to go walk abouts to find any staff, was going to order pudding, but wait made us not. No apology for waiting from server. Manager on duty, young man dark hair, verbally apologetic ans said that one of those days where everything happened at once. However except his words, was very apathetic and didn't offer anything else.

We had a lovely waitress who dint mind our sense of humour at all she always had a smile and was very helpful. Food was lovely. And was very clean

Visited as a family of 3 for an evening meal. Wasn't disappointed. Food was delicious, great service quick and efficient and every request swiftly done. Also served by a lovely, friendly professional young lady called Steph who took the time to chat even though she was very busy.

U won't get better than this .ribs fall off the bone steak is perfect ..always go back but one thing is chefs don't get any glory well from me top notch guys and ladies love your cooking and service.

Perfect stop on way back from a day out for dinner - food was really good and service quick - the staff were really pleasant and cheerful and even suggested a quieter table for us away from families - and very reasonable prices too - if we're ever in that area again we wouldn't hesitate to go back

Had steak and ribs steak very disappointing well done well dried out especially when you eat out its not cheap the chef you be of doing better than cooking it to a crisp

Haven't been to Arbuckles for almost 11years because we moved away. It still has fantastic food, service is brilliant and atmosphere friendly.

We had a delicious breakfast this morning,the decor is very nice.The service was friendly and fast.The food was outstanding this morning for breakfast,one of the nicest gluten free breakfasts I’ve ever had.The gfb was delicious,I had it without the eggs,tomato or beans.As a substitute I ordered it with 1 slice extra of bacon,1 extra hash brown and 1 extra slice of toast.I like it how they put the toast on the side so it doesn’t mix with the hot breakfast items.The bacon was delicious,some of the nicest cooked bacon ever.The hash browns were classic hash browns,crispy on the outside,fluffy on the inside.The mushroom was really nice and juicy.The toast and butter was nice as well.The caramel milkshake was delicious too,creamy and thick.Great breakfast,I would recommend it.

A fairly hefty meal for the price. Fast and efficient service. Staff can entertain the kids and you're made felt welcome.

The secret garden was beautiful and peaceful. The bbq chicken burger was amazing but the Philly steak burger was smothered in American mustard meaning you couldn't taste much else unfortunately. Our server Pesa was incredible, very attentative and polite.

Only one of two in the country, which is a shame as the service and food were both great. Varied menu, reasonably priced breakfast menu. The food was lush. Had a peak at the lunch and dinner menu and this looked just as yum! High recommend

Came here for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was our first visit and husband booked the secret garden. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Pesa our waitress she was incredible. We had the tapas and cocktails food was incredible and so we're the drinks. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again

Just tried to add a review and apparently I've already done one while ago so this is an edit! It's still great, love that you don't have to book and you can eat any time of day, all day every day. Kids always welcomed, staff are amazing. As a vegetarian I miss some of the veggie options which have been replaced with vegan choices which are great but I miss the big old blue burger and the veggie lasagne! Went with my husband tonight and we were served by Ricky who was friendly and attentive.

We were greeted by a very warm and friendly staff member who led us to a table in the conservatory area beautifully decorated and the use of pretty screens gives you a feeling of not being in a busy restaurant and a bit of privacy which was nice. Air conditioning was great we were very thankful for that as it was so hot outside. Extensive menu definitely something for everyone. I had a very tasty cocktail. Delicious food fairly priced. Have been here a few times before and have never been disappointed. Probably the only place I have been to in a large party that the restaurant staff can manage without a hitch . Will definitely return. Thankyou

Went for the first time today. My parents go often but I wasn't sure. We were greeted at the door by Chris who looked after us throughout our meal. Excellent 👌 service. The food was great too. Thoroughly enjoyed it as did the family. Decor very nice Everything looked very clean and tidy Would recommend for sure.

We went for the breakfast, which was really good, so impressed we went back for dinner the same day. All 4 of us had burgers, all different, and not one of us was disappointed. The burgers were massive, we'll cooked and definitely American style. We will be going back

Nice place. Food great. Took a while to get served as only 1 person on the till.. tables were sticky with dried beer. Wash out the cloth and maybe the tables would be better.

The staff were absolutely brilliant today, made to feel welcome and accommodated my partners allergies. Have been a handful of times and never disappointed with the food or service it's always brilliant! Will definitely be back!

Staff are very welcoming and get you seated quickly. Food was good with a wide variety of American classics to choose from. Go hungry too as portions are a good size. Only criticism is there is zero atmosphere. You are either in a both with high sides or stuck between partitions between tables. Feels like cattle at the trough! It needs more decor and to be open plan as not nice and for that I wouldn’t go back.

The fact that it was busy on a Monday evening, told me it was popular. They were able to seat us easily, the waiter was attentive but not in our face and drinks and food arrived quickly. We’re going back!

Great dinner. Driving past, the smell reminded us of a restaurant chain in South Africa, we decided we’d try Arbuckles and we are glad we did. Turned out better than the chain in SA. Great atmosphere, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. The food wasn’t bad either.

My family and I entered the establishment on 15/06/24, a quaint Saturday evening although i entered this dining experience, and was transported to a busy, densely filled diner. Seated instantly in a modern booth, this particular one able to seat 6 easily, so the 5 of us was very comfortable. Even though the restaurant was heaving, and the area was noisy, we could all still hear each other without raising our voices. There was no music, which helped with the noise. We got our drinks quickly, and for other coke 0 fanatics, they only come in glass bottles which was good enough for me! We ordered a vip platter for four, between 5, and it was more than enough, the wings were well seasoned and the spicy mayo sauce (?) was amazing, stand out for me. The chicken strips were tender and had an amazing coating, freshly made, really couldn’t fault them. The Mac n’ Cheese bites really let it down for me. The coating was crispy and perfect, but it was just sweet sickly and overly creamy inside. The ribs were very tender and had a perfect texture, but i’m not a fan of barbecue sauce and it was dripping with it, If your a fan of barbecue you will be a fan of these ribs! Also shout out to the onion rings, really crispy, and perfect. Our seconds came appropriately timed after the starter, and I ordered calamari and chips, with some coleslaw. The batter on the calamari was crisp and perfect, and most of the filling was too, although I feel it could’ve been flavorous for me. The chips were the worst thing i had there, large and soft, with no flavour, I’d ideally cut them thinner and make them more crispy and it felt like i was eating boiled potatoes. A nice option would be a seasoning like peri peri dusted over the top. The coleslaw was a huge portion for the price and was really perfect with a nice purple colour. Another person in my party order the 10oz Serloin Medium rare, The texture and colour ways really goals, and for not being a dedicated grill, it was great. The taste on the thinner part of the steak was somewhat faded, but ultimately a good steak somewhat appropriately priced. The bill came out to around 150£, 30£ pp. I would recommend

Visited here for a family birthday. There were 16 of us, and the service could not have been better. The food was outstanding, and the portion sizes were very generous (I couldn't finish my mixed grill). The staff were very friendly and even joined in for a group selfie.

Food was passable don’t know if I just went wrong with getting a steak. Everything needed a good coating of salt. The service was amazing and the waitresses were really nice and helpful. Wish the food was better because I’d come back for the service.

Had the buttermilk chicken waffle with bacon and maple sauce. If you love sweet and salty it's one to try. Kids had the pancakes . All very nice.👍🏼

Staff are pleasant, good and drink is good, the atmosphere is wonderful. It almost felt like being in America.

We (6 adults and 1 baby) came today (31st May 2024 @ 1730) and had the delight of being served by Katie. She made the experience massively enjoyable, fun and gave us all a good laugh. She has incredible initiative and is really outgoing, a real credit to the restaurant. As for the food, it was a first time at arbuckles for all of us and the food was superb, everything cooked to order and it all came out in a very timely manner. I'd recommend this restaurant to anybody I know.

We had a party here of 20 people for a birthday, everyone’s meal was spot on and delicious! The cocktails were AMAZING, great variety of Mocktails too. Our waiter was Chris and he was absolutely brilliant, a credit to your restaurant, his patience, humour and hospitality we couldn’t rate high enough. Thank you for a lovely evening, and we shall definitely be back to try more of the lovely menu!!
