Booked a table but wslasnt ready but that's not the problem. Ordered food. A hour later no food ask why was told big party , won t he long. Asked, again was told or order was today be prepared, gave up after waiting g a hour fifteen. Staff said we were being unfair when we walked out.

Delish-ish? Why the chicken Goujon wrap was lovely, dont get me wrong. It was too good and just about finished it all. Probably have sandwich next time 😄 The "OJ and lemonade" was good too, but the lemonade was almost unnoticeable, i thought it was just OJ. Which was a slight disappointment. Otherwise im giving a positive review

We went to The Tipsy Teapot for a Bottomless Brunch as a group called The Heavenly Honey’s of Heacham; a chapter of The Red Hat Society.

The staff on the upper floor were fabulous, excellent, attentive, and professional. HOWEVER, the food was diabolical, dreadful, foul. By all means visit the establishment as the drinks are ok.. but don't touch the hot menu, which in reality arrives cold avoid like the plague

Excellent food, well presented and flavoured. Slow delivery for the food but it was fresh and the environment was nice so didn’t take away from the experience. Friendly staff and the decor is fun. We had chicken skewers and would definitely order again. Highly recommended venue.

Fantastic restaurant! We visited yesterday for the first time as we were exploring Kings Lynn for the first time and we're not only blown away by the epic food menu but also the amazing variety on the cocktail menu. It's great to see a menu with some creativity, I had the fondue burger and it was an experience, luckily the meal came with a fresh sealed wipe for after. My fiancé had the brie and bacon burger which she rated highly and our son loved the Mac and cheese. (They even had the for-knowledge to put the bacon bits on the side for the kids meal). You could tell this restaurant has a lot of care and thought throughout and we are jealous that they are not in Bury St Edmunds.... Yet 😉 Until then we are definitely going to try and head back, once we find a babysitter!

Went to friends hen party bottomless brunch there was 16 of us, sorry to say food wasn’t nice all spicy they say 90 minutes of cocktails and in that time considering we all had the same cocktails only had 5 in all that time could not taste alcohol in any of the cocktails even paid £40 for shots that was just coloured juice very disappointing even ended up going else where to eat and drink never heard of paying as soon as you walk in the door.

Popped in for lunch not having been previously aware of the restaurant. Menu was extensive and suited our party of four's varied tastes. Setting and decor was great and fantastically over the top but in a good way. Service was very swift, laid back and courteous. We had a selection of sandwiches, baguettes and the chicken sizzler. All the food was really good, plenty of it, (the fries were amazing), and the sizzler had a great variety of dips and sides. All in all a very good meal at a very reasonable price. Will definitely visit again when next in town. Maybe squeeze in a couple of cocktails too!

Had a nice time . The main food was good the drinks were fine. But the pudding let it down didn't live up to the menu card 😕. ( I was aware that it might be different to the menu, which was fine, but it was disappointing).

Quirky experience, loved the Alice in Wonderland themed decor, especially the top hats ceiling lights and the teacups chandeliers. One of the server, Dom, was very attentive, friendly, chatty, and added to the overall experience, especially when providing our Puffle cocktail, being playful with the smoke bubbles and making us laugh! Added bonus: cocktails served in a teapot!

Best place in kings Lynn to drink , food is good too. Staff are amazing and the venue is second to none. First visit and most likely the last visit. The decor is pretty cool and they have gone for a very busy theme. Although I appreciate it was a Saturday evening and they had a large table booked in, it appeared that they prioritised this large party and neglected other tables. We waited quite a while to have our drinks order collected and even longer for our food order, with no apology or consideration. The food when it came was fairly average. To be honest it’s no different to what you’re served in a marstons. Halloumi, calamari and pasta all overcooked. Mains were no better, it just felt that the kitchen was really struggling and the quality suffered. As much as I would have usually appreciated not being disturbed mid mouthful by the “how is everything with your food?” Question, we could have done with being asked this. Strangely, I also see a few shared feelings around alcohol content of their cocktails, definitely think something is amiss here and they have a dry bar, or they are just that good at making them taste like they are alcohol free. Regardless, they tasted really great and I liked the twists they put on classic cocktails. It’s a place which feels like they are trying to be too many different things and perhaps this is their downfall. I wouldn’t say it was value for money either, which is a shame. Although their review score is still pretty good, so it could just be that this place isn’t for me!

Not as good as usual. Pork was very fatty no meat hardly at all. Place is looking tired and scruffy,needs re decorating,updating. Burgers had so much cheese sauce on they were too hot to handle and very difficult to eat. Disappointed as last time I came I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

Had an exceptional experience; the quality of the ingredients and the flavour of the food were nothing short of phenomenal. The rump steak hanging skewers were beautifully marinated, juicy excellent prepared. This was also the first place I’ve been to that prepared onion rings which remained crispy and delicious. Amazing selection of cocktails too. Definitely worth every penny! Highly recommended for a date, special occasion, or even a day-out treat!

Wheelchair accessible if you are okay with the skinny front door. There is seating available outside during nice weather. As the door says, the downstairs is a restaurant while upstairs is a dancing area and bar or space for group events. There are highchair available for toddlers. We ordered a tuna crunch sandwich, butternut & sweet corn fritters, and the Philly Steak Load Em Up with chips and crisps. It took a while to get our food but felt it was very well prepared. The tuna crunch sandwich was nice with the sage fries. The Philly steak dish was well presented, the meat was delicious and cooked well, but I think it was a little heavy on the nacho cheese sauce - I do recognize Philly Steak menu items in general have a lot of cheese. This was just more than I wanted. Overall, very happy with our experience. We paid by card but you can also pay by cash. Nice music downstairs, not too loud and allows for conversation. The decoration was so whimsical and wonderful! It was well done and is very appreciated. The bathroom was wheelchair accessible and clean.

Booked a cream tea experience for my disabled/wheelchair bound son and I. We had a charming experience and the owner was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience special.

Came for afternoon tea for a 70th birthday celebration. We were sat in the birdcage, which was lovely, having a round seat we could all interact with each other. The lady serving us was friendly and very attentive. The food was served on a chandelier and loose leaf tea came in china teapots. We all enjoyed the delicious food, especially the home made scones with jam and clotted cream. The decor, the atmosphere, the food, all made for a very memorable afternoon, especially for the Birthday girl. Thank you very much Typsy Teapot 🥳 An edit to my review! We enjoyed this first afternoon tea so much we came back to celebrate another birthday. However this time we were quite disappointed. Presentation was not good, the finger sandwiches were definitely not the same standard, especially the coronation chicken which were so spicy they were inedible. Scones were quite hard and more like rock cakes. We all agreed this time it was not worth the £20 pp paid. Why no egg or cheese and tomato finger sandwiches is this not standard for afternoon tea?!

It is cosy, relaxing and feels warm. It is spacious as the tables are not too close to each other. Jasmin looked after us. Like many waitresses, she was welcoming and charming but she was much more than that. She is a true professional and looked after us in a way that few can do. One of us has an allergy and Jasmin and the chef produced a meal that was not only completely safe, it was absolutely delicious. The rump steak for example was a triumph, it was tender and cooked perfectly. The only comment we would like to make - only as advice - is that it might be an idea to make the outside area of the Tipsy Teapot slightly more attractive. Make it stand out more in this quiet area. Tipsy Teapot served a delicious meal, delivered excellent service and all that for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem, booked for afternoon tea for 4 and it was the nicest one I have ever had. The sandwiches were so fresh and fillings delicious, onion bhajis and warm cheese twists a fab accompaniment and the scones were also warm and tasty. Good variety of cakes to go with it as well, the little lemon meringue pie my favourite. If I had to be picky the tea was very strong, but sorted with the addition of a pot of hot water. Our host Dom made the visit more fun and couldn't have done more to help, can't thank him enough for making the afternoon that bit more special. Definitely pop this place at the top of the list for a visit.

This is a fantastic restaurant. It's quirky, cosy and has a great atmosphere. The staff are absolutely brilliant and the food is exceptional. This is our new go to place for sure! Keep up the fantastic work guys!!

This was a really fun experience, cocktails absolutely superb and I haven't seen cheaper prices like this anywhere else, Norwich included. Service went above and beyond. Incredible magician. This will now be my go to place for special events. Thank you.

I'd been for lunch but not for a evening meal so didnt know what to expect, as a party of 4 we was made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, we ordered drinks and food, which didn't take that long to arrive, food was lovely, hot and very tasty, was very impressed, staff were very friendly and helpful, we will be returning thankyou tipsy teapot for a lovely evening

Recently, we had the pleasure of providing software licensing for Tipsy Teapot Restaurant online. Out of curiosity, I checked out their website and was very impressed with their unique dining experience and the fantastic and engaging reviews. As a software service provider at Synology, I love admiring service leaders in various industries, such as Tipsy Teapot’s excellent service in restaurants. One day, I will travel there with my family from Taiwan to experience their warm hospitality! ! !

Fantastic all round would highly recommend!!! Not only does it look fabulous the food,drink and staff are too. Went here for a birthday meal with my partner and couldn't fault a thing. Staff welcoming, Happy, chatty ( but not in your face). We was served by Dom and he was a pleasure! Food great quality and generous portions. Will definitely be returning soon. First time at Tipsy teapot . Staff were lovely as was the decor. I looked around and saw lots yummy food on people's plate so I will def be back. I had the afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and everything that was served was so tasty esp the sausage rolls .I only gave 4 stars though as I did feel there could of been more food . £20.00 isn't a fortune but iv had a few afternoon teas at different places same price and a lot more food so maybe increase the sausage rolls to 2 each , cheese straws same and I think that would be spot on . Overall a lovely set up and I would definitely recommend a visit .

Tipsy Teapot was booked by my friend to celebrate my Birthday. We had afternoon tea, which was delicious. Everyone was so welcoming. I had a lovely time and will be returning again. Next time we will be to having Tapas

We had a pork belly and a steak kebab and they were fantastic. I also had a banana colada which was delicious!!

The short version: Underwhelming, overpriced food, and a sauce lid left in my burger. Could have gone to Lounges or even Wetherspoons for a better experience. Don't want to rain on your parade but please double check your food. Cauliflower bites were tasty. Full review: Went here with my partner for a dinner date on a Thursday evening, had a couple of customers in, not busy, calm environment (which is a good sign, I myself wouldn't want to be the only customer!) Entered the restaurant, waited by the door for 3 minutes to be greeted and seated. After numerous hungry eye contact to the waiters finally the young man arrived with his notepad, we queried about the vegan options, informed us about a new chef from London bringing vegan duck on the menu (which does sound exciting) Cool new menu on the horizon, I'm feeling impressed so far! Staff were very friendly I'll say. We ordered Purple Rain drinks whilst it was a very tasty drink, we couldn't taste the alcohol in it :/ we lucky we arrived at the 2 for 1 hour for drinks so we didn't make a fuss out of it. We ordered crispy cauli bites to share and they were really nice, that also arrived with our burgers. We ordered vegan / plant based burger each. The lady waiter offered sauces but I made sure to ask for ketchup and vegan mayo since theres a reoccurring theme of restaurants don't offer sauces expecting you to eat your fries dry, was a tad worried they were going to charge for sauce but thankfully that wasn't the case! Anyway was glad to get some sauce. As someone paying £14.50 for a burger meal I like to inspect the burger I'll be billed for - but its also a habit I personally do (I mean who wouldn't, read further you will be glad why.) Food has arrived quite excited feeling, I opened the burger and I noticed there was a small metal round piece what looked like to be sauce lid which looked to have some green on it. Why was that in there my thoughts. I went up to the bar mentioned it to the waiter. She was like oh sorry about that, offered to make a fresh burger, my thoughts were no thats just wasteful (I'm very fortunate not to have allergies) I asked what could that be from, she mentioned sauces or whatever, I did quickly mention but there's no sauce in burger how, though I quickly made it a cool situation like its fine. The lady came back asked if everything is okay, we nodded she mentioned the drinks are on the house as a result for the metal cap misplaced in my burger. I'll be honest I was a little more soothed by this response, quickly thanked her. (though part of me was well it was 2 for 1 anyway for the drinks so I guess we all together saved £8) - also after writing this up I noticed they didn't charge us for the caulibites, so thank you. Finally took a bite of my burger I noticed the bun was quite hard, I'm guessing it was overcooked and though the burger itself was rather hard and tasteless. For someone to be paying £14.50 for a burger I had to inspect it, opened the bun, contained no sauce, a dark almost burnt patty, no cheese, iceberg lettuce and a tasteless tomato, it was dry and boring. Are we meant to be tipsy to eat this and not moan about it? Glad I asked for sauce, in the tiny sauce pots I put a teaspoon of vegan mayo to save the day. If I not looked inside the burger I could have been in hospital. The staff were lovely, the restaurant was beautiful but sadly the £14.50 burgers were just awful. Maybe it is was a bad day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯,. It's not hard to not over cook your burgers and bun and add vegan cheese and some sauce also not to chuck in a random tin cap in the burger! Violife slices of vegan cheese is cheap and available is almost every supermarket. Anywho I took time writing this, being honest, I'm passionate and I do not want to see another small business fail because something that can be easily solved.

Had dinner here with family tonight, food was delicious, staff were lovely, and the owner even had a chat with us as we took an interest to all of the trinkets. This place has so much character, if you've never been you're missing out! Absolutely a must visit spot! Thanks Tipsy Teapot staff, you were all lovely!

Afternoon Tea for 2 - you're advised on sitting down that you only get 1 free drink with the Afternoon Tea. Unfortunately the pot of tea came up before the food. So we did end up ordering another pot (£5.50), to finish the food. Would have made a better impression if the tea was free, especially considering the low cost to make. You get 2 rounds of sandwiches, 1 fruit scone with jam/cream and 3 mini sized cakes each. Found the balance of sandwiches to cakes different to other Tea's I've had. Sandwiches were a bit slapdash. Some crusts left on, hardly any cheese in the cheese & caramelised onion. But loads of filling in the coronation chicken. Jam/cream portion just about adequate. Staff were very friendly and we were offered takeaway boxes, which we needed. Would not go for Afternoon Tea again. But might try the cocktails.

Cannot rate this place enough! The atmosphere the decor the food and drinks are amazing. I had my 30th birthday here, numerous birthday meals, nights out and Mingo Bingo! most recently an afternoon tea for my daughters 10th birthday. Jasmine is amazing! Lisa and the team all put so much effort into service and it's the little things that make the difference. If you haven't visited, please do. The banana colada is my favourite cocktail. And I love the frachos and burgers and the French toast. Hard to get decent portions now for a realistic price but tipsy teapot manages both. Will continue to come back again and again. Well done to all xxx

This was my first time visiting for a family get together. The service was so lovely with all the staff being very bubbly. The food was incredible! My husband and I both ordered the falafel frachos which unfortunately they had run out of the falafel, but were able to substitute it with the fritters, it was a gorgeous dish! ❤️ 10/10 would recommend a visit.

Lunch, great service and love the decorative these. Friend and I vegan and plenty of choice. The meal was very tasty. Drinks options great selection both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Would recommend.

We had a lovely time - not overly busy but a steady trade at 1245. We were a little early but accommodated immediately. Ordered our cocktail in a teapot which was lovely followed by burgers, mum wanted English mustard but they didn’t have any so made do with American. We both had lovely desserts too. Our waitress was lovely, attentive and chatty. Would definitely go back again

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Amazing food, lovely staff and such a pretty building. I'm definitely going again to try a desert, was too full to finish my festive sandwich so no room for pudding sadly.

Came with a group of friends, one got a little too drunk and was rude to the staff. Dom and Luke handled it so professionally and were so lovely. Cannot recommend this place enough for lovely service and friendly staff. I can only apologise for the member of our party that didn’t behave socially acceptable. Lovely quirky restaurant. Brilliant service and really good food. It was great having old fashioned teapots and teacups. We had the smash burgers which were really tasty and rum and raisin tiramisu which was so rich and creamy! The shared chandelier teas looked amazing. Great environment and decor. Even the toilets were really presentable. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our fussy family of 4! We have 2 vegans, 1 veggie, 1 carnivore.. and we were all spoilt for choice!! Lots to choose from but not overwhelmingly so. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were lovely, helpful and polite too. It's a truly unique and quirky place with fantastic decor. Great value for money. Wouldn't go there again Evan if I was payed first and last time get sent away from the bar and told a waiter will come to the talbe waited 45 minits for a drink and a hour and half for food the staff was so unorganised never again I highly recommend you find somewhere else food was rotten

First time at tipsy teapot yesterday and I will be returning! The place is gorgeous, service was great, and the cocktails and food was amazing! Would recommend to anyone to try out the bottomless brunch, only problem is our 90 minutes went very quick wish we had longer! Although they made sure we always had another cocktail ready. Me and some friends went to bottomless brunch here earlier in the year and I left sober. I am the biggest lightweight I’ll get drunk off of one cocktail! I had about 6 and it did nothing. They’re 100% watering down their alcohol. The food was meh. Fatty pork belly bites. None of it good quality and quite uninspiring. Won’t be going back and will be telling others to avoid.

Can not fault a thing, top night !

The food here was incredible... the hanging steak skewers were cooked perfectly. One of the nicest meals I've had out in a long time. The staff were really helpful and polite. Will definitely be back again soon.

So we were served by G, and our drinks were made by Luke. Service was fantastic, well mannered ,fast and attentive. We had a toffee apple puffle and 10 shots. The puffle, oh my god. Best drink I've had in a very long time Highly reccomended

This was honestly such a great night out, £35 for a bottomless brunch with 3 tapas dishes and the cocktails was flowing for the whole 90 mins the bar staff was amazing dom made our drinks for us and he did not disappoint he was so lovely very hard worker, and our server Lacey was such a great host she made our night smiles all around from the workers! Great night out with good atmosphere and some nice food. Good cocktails although a little less strong than expected. Would still recommend and the staff were excellent xx

Querky interior, friendly staff and a good range of cocktail options if you're willing to try something new served in tea pots or regular glasses depending on preference.

Had a lovely time and the Afternoon tea was superb. The most food I've had for an Afternoon tea and not all cake. Loads to eat. Great service.

We had a few hours to kill waiting on a train and wandered up to this amazing Restaurant. Bespoke cocktails and an amazing menu with good portions. We were served by Dom, who was lovely, great service. Go Dom! Very rare to find great service like yours. All the best, Dev & John

Wonderful wait staff and fantastic food. I love coming here whenever I'm nearby, there's always something good on the menu, and the drinks are to die for.
