McDonalds in Sefton

Ordered 2 meals. Both wrong. How hard is it to read an order and put it in a bag. I struggle to remember a single visit to this McDonald’s where the order has been either correct or have to have waited a ridiculous amount of time. Last visit I thought it was the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Again this has been confirmed

Service is ridiculously slow, this is our local McDonalds, so we dont have much choice or have to drive to Southport. Every time we have gone there we either wait for ages or something is missing out of our order or we completely receive incorrect order. Even waited 20 mins then told oh sorry we have sold out of certain items nut board stoll allows the order. Locals are getting really frustrated with the poor service........... Management you meed to get staff trained to the standard of Suthports McDonalds as we never have the above issues there and they are a lot busier...

This is without doubt the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Sat in the drive thru at the order point with no one taking my order, then reversed after waiting 4 minutes and went in the other queue for the other order point. No apologies, just a ‘what can I get you?’ Waited then FIFTEEN minutes for 1 breakfast meal when it wasn’t even busy. Finally, the food arrived at the end of an extended arm, attached to an expressionless young guy who looked like he hated the world. Staff are lifeless and slow. It reminded me of the ending of Shaun of the Dead when they’ve got zombies as trolley workers. The whole place is pretty terrible in and a damning reflection on the manager in summary

Disappointed and disgusted never as I have tried will it get any better just full of kids and bad management disgraceful

I know these establishments are a challenge to keep clean but this one was particularly untidy and very dirty. Piles of food left near the bins near the eating areas while we were there, at least 40 minutes. Also food was also not up to the usual standard as chips were half cooked and the milkshake had a peculiar taste to it. Won’t be coming here again.

Not many staff available at the front serving desk and I didn't see anyone for a while whilst my relative waited for the order. Clean looking and spacious venue. However, and this is just my personal opinion. I feel that a Mc Donald's outlet should be uniform in its interior presentation and that the rather overwhelming OTT flag display is maybe not something that all customers may or may not appreciate.

This place needs to close down, I have tried a number of times at this place, food cold and a number of items missing, disgusting food, it’s run by rude kids, the manager has to be the worst in the country, how can they keep getting away with this bloody disgusting avoid worse franchise chain I have been to.

Don't waste your time!! Day 2 of the new menu and they have run out of biscoff frappe' s. Stuck in a que for 30 mins for no reason, no way of getting out the drive in que, no signs to say they have run out, 3rd time I've been here, 2x no milkshake, now no frappe's! What a waste of money on advertising, if they can't pre order enough items for the second day of release I'm left wondering how the manager is coping with the rigorous hygiene rota. Very very poor!

Terrible, waited 40 mins at midnight for 2 burgers behind 2 cars. Food was cold and stale, Uber driver left because they took too long, staff aggressively shouting and swearing in front of customers. Staff are rude and didn’t apologise for the wait. Must be the worst McDonald’s in uk.

This is a terrible McDonald’s. I visited on the 3rd April. I have been several times to this McDonalds and it has always been beyond poor. They did not disappoint this time either 😩. I ordered 6 meals and a few extra sides for a birthday treat for the kids. I ordered via the app and collected, it was a 12 minute drive, waited 14 minutes for the food and drove back 12 minutes. Got home and yet again there are none of the sauces that were ordered, even better 2 of the meals are missing!!! 2 out of 6!!! How is that even possible ! £40.40 and 1/3 is missing!!!! 12 minute drive back, spoke to a shift manager, he apologised and was a nice lad. He apologised for the “kids” that were working there and the fact “they just don’t care!” He gave me the two missing meals and told me to complain to the McApp people as he couldn’t sort it out as I ordered on the app. 12 minute drive back, my food is cold, my milkshake is the wrong flavour and now warm. Complained to the McApp people who refunded £14, yet to see that. The restaurant is a total mess. Nobody has a clue what they are doing. Nobody cares. I will never never never visit this McDonald’s again. I hope you’re happy you ruined my child’s birthday treat. Shocking

Went through the drive drive through. The staff were rude, No please thankyou nothing didn't even tell us where to pay or pick the food up, when they handed us the food didn't hand us any chips and just left us sat there until my partner knocked on the window poor poor customer services and the burgers looked like they had been thrown about before handing it to us

Parked up, went in, ordered, took ages for food. Sat down. Ate. Ordered two more coffees and wrote an email. Went out to my car and drove home. 2 days later get a £50 parking fine. They can go xxxx themselves

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever encountered I thought the Southport ones were bad but this is next level bad.. tried a few times to give them another chance but won't bother again. The food tastes dodgy, always mess up the easiest of orders. They left our food was 10 mins last time and I said to my partner that is our food before eventually they called it! I ordered a burger with extra pickles and they gave me a plain burger instead on one of my encounters. The staff don't look at you and throw the food at you, in all honestly they look flustered and it looks carnage in the kitchen. I think it should go back to MJ's or something else as it's a disaster.

i could not believe what I experienced the management and stuff are terrible speak to you awful and all in general just disgusting such a badly ran store the managers don't even know what there doing half of the time THERE IS NEVER ANY ICE so half of my drink is empty no body comes and helps you when you ask for some help and when they do they are so rude there was a manager in shift called Oliva she was horrible shouting at all of her staff and just treating them terrible I don't know how some of the managers got a job the way they speak to there staff it is disgusting it is border line bullying

Waited too long for order to be taken in first place. In-store customers ignored, staff more bothered about drive throughs . Breakfast order totally incorrect (obviously added sausage to bacon mcmuffin was too complicated) given 2 coffees when 1 coffee and 1 tea was ordered. No sugar or other condiments in service area had to ask for sugar which was given to us but no stirrer ( do we really have to ask for a stirrer? ) No hash browns with breakfast meal deal. Really how can staff get a simple breakfast order for 2 people so wrong. Only been to this branch about 4 times in last couple of years and everytime there is a problem, don't think we will bother in future. Think this branch deserves medal for worst Macdonald's staff in u.k. Well done.

The worst McDonalds! Every time we receive an order whether going through the drive thru or getting food delivered, the order is either wrong or there are items missing without fail. This week we ordered four meals and only two meals were delivered. We were told by McDonalds that they would not replace the two missing meals so we asked for a full refund. They refused to give a refund also. We contacted Uber eats and McDonalds complaints team to be told by both that they will not give a refund. We spent £35 on the order and didn’t have any of the food or a refund- nothing short of theft! The staff have a terrible attitude and make it clear that they couldn’t care less. I would advise all to avoid this McDonalds!

This is without doubt the worst mcdo ald I have ever visited. I have come regularly as it is the closest to my house. I thought it would improve after opening but has gone much worse. I wouldn't go in toilets and tables always a mess. The best advice I could give is don't eat in and if you are at drive through expect a long wait, check your order at the window including what burgers are in boxes as if you order for instance a double then they will give you a box with a single in. Don't leave the drive through window until you have thoroughly checked your order as they seem incapable of getting anything right. I've said it before but I will never return to this joke of a restaurant even if it is a mile from my house.

Pulled up at drive thru and completely ignored. Other lane served without acknowledging I was there. Ended up driving to the window to order. Server was not professional. Told me that they just serve random lanes and don’t worry about who’s been waiting - not good when you’re there before 3 other people. Went to collect to order to be told to move down to next window. Then got told again to park up. I refused as I knew the order would be wrong as it usually is at this McDonald’s. Order came and all sauces missing. Waited for another 5 minutes for someone to come back and hand me sauces. I was greeted with, ‘what are you waiting for?’ Instead of a much more professional ‘is there anything else I can help you with?’ Arrived home to a half a portion of chips, clearly because I had refused to park up and wait. All food was cold

Hands down the worst McDonald’s restaurant I have ever ordered from! Multiple times now we’ve ordered on the Mcdelivery app from here and food has either not arrived, missing items or cold stale food and when speaking to the staff there is nothing they can do, absolute joke! I’ve spoken to both managers on shift and complaints team at Uber eats all ending in the same result no refund or no food to replace missing items. Sick of the terrible service won’t be returning and advise everyone to steer clear

The team went above and beyond to making my daughter's 5th birthday a day to remember and there support alleviated the stress which comes with parties.the staffs support ensured the party went as smooth as possible and much an enjoyable one of that to. I am every so thankful to Vicky who made this event authorised and made into a private event and ensured our orders came together and brought to us which we all enjoyed and we all demonised. A massive thank you to Rosy who was always present looking after us and entertained the children with facepaints and animal Bloons the children were so thrilled.overall massive thank you to MacDonalds Formby Merseyside for making this all possible and affordable with this time of cost of living crisis I am so so thankful as a single mum and a student I was worried how to make my daughter 5th birthday a day to remember and it was a mission impossible made possible thank you!!!! This is the worst McDonald’s . Their food is inferior and their ice cream is full of air. It’s half the size of other McDonald’s

All food was cold and tasteless. After ordering never got what we asked for. Feel the staff aren’t listening. Would never used this place again.

This is my local MacDonalds and we’ve just received another wrong delivery. Not once have we got what we ordered from here when getting food delivered. When eating in store there is never anyone on the front desks, the drinks are always warm and the chips are always cold. We’d rather drive further afield these days rather than go here.

The service was awful and then got home to realise the food was cold! We won't be going there again.

Cold food So I ordered a lunch for myself and the family from here, the food was stone cold when it arrived and the two donuts were ROCK hard, which indicates STALE food. This type of service needs to be addressed as the quality and product name of McDonald’s is being let down. It’s not the first time I’ve had poor service from here, my thought was new year, new start try them again. What a mistake to make. This view is my own and nobody has asked me to write this.
