McDonald's in West Berkshire

Just a shout out to the young lad delivering to waiting bay areas , very polite and made sure everything was correct, he looked like it was his early days working too, bless him! 15/11/20 10.30 am shift. He may be working for a chain but at least he's working and doing his job right! Update: Ghian is The Dude! Someone promote this guy, please! 25/02/25 15.45 shift Sorted order backlog soon as he stepped in...upper management needs to appreciate their good staff , reward them and this branch has a few of them.

Food was great and service was friendly with fast order processing. 5* would recommend

McDonald’s when your lettuce has turned brown and soggy its DEAD! sort out your staff and there dirty looking uniforms, give them all a shave and some deodorant and maybe once they start caring for themselves they might start caring about your food and services they provide

I ordered at 5pm it said 10-25 minutes delivery it took 1 hour. When it did come my drink had spilt everywhere there was nothing left in the cup

I placed an order at 17:05, McDonald's accepted the order & gave a delivery time of 17:35 to something like 17:50. the driver arrived to collect the order at 17:28 but food was not ready to dispatch until nearly 18:50 arriving with us at 19:00 stone cold. over £30 wanted on late, cold food is not acceptable and there was no option to cancel the meal or accurately report the issue. when I listed the items that were cold I was offered approx £4 refund which is a further disgrace.

Went to eat, but used the toilets first, I was so disappointed as the toilets were so dirty and smelly, dirty tissues on the floor and on the wash basin. I informed a member but they wasn't interested. So I walked straight out!

all good got on time. zero sauces (paid and included ) seems to always be the way. lots of chicken and cheese with no sauce. Big Sad.

Delivery drivers cant read instructions or door number. Had to chase down to get food

I had to personally go and collect the order from McDonald’s as Just Eats couldn’t allocate a driver for a pickup even after an hour.

A burger was missing last time I ordered and a wrap was missing this time

Can’t put an exact time of lateness - but delivery time kept getting later, and later - when food was delivered it’s freezing cold, again! Not happy at all.

Ordered at 6pm, currently 21:20 and still hasn’t moved off of courier at restaurant

Food was cold, coffee was cold, don't go in here at lunchtime it's way too busy for the staff to cope with.

Food is typical of McDonald's. Usually hot and they actually had milkshakes (which is rare tbh) staff were rude as always and it always feels depressing in here. Not a friendly atmosphere at all. Ever.

Top 3 worse McDonald’s I’ve ever been too. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time I went. Food was awful, slow service and impossible to deal with McDonald’s chat bot to make a complaint. Wouldn’t ever go back

No matter how many times I go there for takeaway, they always miss one or more items. I recommend checking your food every time!

Service was slow. Hot chocolate was cold.

Clean toilet. Service was good/quick, which is usually the case even on other Mcdonald's branches.

the delivery time continued to change over all it took about 2 hours from the time of ordering for the food to arrive I would of thought that some form of communication could of happened during this time .I would of cancelled the order but then I would then have to wait days before any refund could happen a very disappointing experience

We ordered large fries and they were only half filled like the size of a medium but paid for a large we ordered 2 big tasty’s with bacon and one didn’t have bacon in but paid for it not happy with the service from this store

There was a minibus ahead of us at the drive-through. It must have ordered a lot of food as we didn't move for 10 mins. It clearly annoyed the member of staff who served us as he was in a very bad mood. Also missed part of our order when it was brought out to us (as we were asked to park up)

Unable to get an NHS discount on order due to app not working due to issues with the app as I was told and had to order by the mounted screens. The staff was very helpful. Food is not hot. Shame my code to use on the mounted screens didn't include my NHS discount on the code.

Luke warm food again.. on the plus side everything that was ordered was in the bags.. what is the point of pre-ordering for a specific time slot if you can’t keep to it.. delivery time changed 3 times none of which were remotely close to pre-booked time.. come on Just eat and McDonald’s sort yourselves out..

I believe the drivers are hanging about to take multiple orders from restaurants as courier was at the restaurant ages before he actually left to bring food when he eventually got here food was cold very not happy . just eat use to be really good but seems like the drivers are trying there best just to make sure they can take as many orders as possible from the restaurant rather than delivering one at a time and making sure peoples food is still hot on arrival

It was clean, staff was very friendly and food was tasty. My Big Mac was cold. The cheese was still solid I like it to be hot and melting cheese.

Male manager on sunday 7 of April very rude and blunt. They need to get tips from tothill. Wont let me write another so just to warn everyone to check the order at the counter. Past week there have been numerous times items have been left off my order and i only notice when im at work. Fyi if i pay for something i expect to get it. Do better

As always Newbury Mcdonalds (retail park) let's us down. we have never had order arrive on time or be correct. Justeat is excellent on refunds but they shouldn't be needed on every order.

Waited for ages in drive through. Food was put down on platform and people kept walking past. After 20 mins got our food.

OMG why are people hating on this MacDonalds in the reviews!!! a) it's MacDonalds you know what you're getting and b) this is one of the nicest I've ever been to! Staff are friendly and helpful, I've never been served by anyone rude or unfriendly and good has always been warm, tasty and customized perfectly when requested.

Delivered after 2 hours waiting time !! I get that it’s busy on a Friday night- but to be told it takes about 40 mins only to find out after those 40 mins that it’s going to take 1 hour and 15 or more on top of that is unprofessional. If I’d known that from the start, I’d have collected it. Shockingly bad. And the food was not very warm.

ordered chicken selects and a milkshake, took ages for them to find a driver so my delivery time got later and later, then when my food finally arrived I had recieved 2 milkshakes but no chicken! Now I have to wait potentially 48 hours for a refund on the chicken, meaning if I want to order them again or go elsewhere I'm going to have to spend even more money than I originally did.

Useless, keep driving south to Tot hill services. Or go down the hill to burgerking. Won't ever go back. Inedible slop. Then you get a voucher for a meal for 2.99. So you think I will go back after my inedible meal and then go back for another. Mcdonalds is a joke.

Fries were cold, Big Mac also lukewarm and no straw included. From the Retail to Greenham and the food was cold 🥶. The original time was also changed to a later time so if you were busy surely my food should of definitely been hotter .Really poor service and less than £2 refund whoopy doo !!

Appalling service. Ordered online the delivery time kept moving back every 5 mins. After an hr we saw the whole order had been cancelled.

Took ages, we’re 4 minutes drive away (no car and two kids today so couldn’t get it myself), which is fine but all of the food was stone cold, clearly had been sat out for quite a while. I won’t be using this app to order McDonald’s again as this often happen - suggest you steer clear.

Ordered breakfast in machine and had to wait 15min for food as staff were stood behind counter sucking a lollipop and playing on phone. Sat at table and while eating noticed that the floor and window sill were covered in food from god knows how long!

Really poor from just eat again, we look d for something quick 15-20 mins was on the McDonald’s items. So we placed the order it then went to 50 mins and ended up being over an hr. To top it off when the map popped up the driver was sat at an Italian takeaway in town so they had clearly taken our food to the Italian sat there and then bought it to us. The food was stone cold.

The delivery driver ignored all of my messages of asking if they were lost, also claimed to call me multiple times when no calls were attempted. I would like a full refund as food is stone cold and not edible. The driver did not apologise either.

The McRib has to be the worst burger they have done. The meat was appalling, next to no sauce on it, two very sad looking gherkins and barely any onions. Absolute waste of money.

Just a good old normal maccies. Service is as you would expect. Food is always hot. Plenty if seats. Toilets are clean for a mcdonalds. Go check it out and smash a bigmac.

What’s the point in booking a delivery in advanced for a set time? When it arrives 30 mins after your chosen time.. Delivery time frame changed 7 times whilst order was in process.

My order did NOT ARRIVE. No phone calls, no door bell rang, no knock on front door. Two very upset autistic children!
