Conveniently doesn't accept any in-app offers so everything is essentially double the price. £40 for 3 burger meals is atrocious

Terrible food. Staff overrun. Milkshake machine was broken. Save money and go to the sandwich shop or Costa coffee.

Very busy. It's not the fault of the workers. However, I was given the wrong food, and the quality of the food was nowhere close to the price. Hallumi fries were trash, the spricy majo was sweet, and the burger was cold (after I got the right one). They closed early, compared to their google hours. Soda was 3/4 full with no ice. Not a good experience considering the price....

Speedy service and high quality food

Ordered double whopper with cheese meal and onion rings. The double whopper has no cheese, the bun looked liked it had been used to wipe the floor the onion rings with cold and soggy. At least the fries were hot though only half a portion. The only thing right was the drink.

Very fast and efficient service, best I’ve experienced at a BK for a long time. Food was delicious, especially the peppercorn fries.

Very bad service. Restaurant opening hours on Sunday 7:00-23:00. I walked up to the order point at 22:40 just to be told that they already took last orders (1 person in front of me).

The service was very lacklustre. The staff really didn't seem to have any enthusiasm about even being there. We ordered two meals. Chicken Royale Meal, and a Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal, both with fries. The burgers and fries were absolutely stone cold in both cases. The bread roll on the Bacon Double Cheeseburger was so thin that the top was not strong enough to hold together and was in 2 pieces. Both bread rolls were dry and seemed to be stale. The fries were as cold as the rolls and burgers, but thicker in size than either of the two wafer thin beef burgers used to make the Bacon Double Cheeseburger. When one of the staff was told about the meals being cold he just shrugged his shoulders and said nothing. Both meals ended in the bin after only a couple of bites. It was a total waste of money, and I paid a premium to throw the food away because it was a service station. Unlike every other Burger King outlets that I have visited there is no option to give feedback direct to Burger King via the till receipts. If Moto are prepared to allow this to happen at their services, I will never stop at a Moto services again. It will be a long time before I visit a Burger King again as well. I felt that I had been mugged for the price of two meals when I left the services, and I was still hungry.

I went to BK in moto services today just to find out that self service machines were not working. When asked at the till to be served I was told by manager James that he will not serve me as he is too busy. Horrendous customer service my. How does he even work there ??

Terrible place,very slow service and rude staff

I don't often stop here because it's quite pricey compared to McDonald's at Tot Hill (A34), but fancied a change today. Turns out I also forgot about the horrendous service! 25 minutes for "fast food". With McDonald's I can eat and be back on the road in 20 minutes, but this has now turned into an unnecessary 40 minute stop in an already long journey. I'll be bearing this in mind next time I fancy a BK...

Fast service, tasty burger, and perfectly cooked fries. Hit the spot. Seating area was clean and well maintained also.

Called in around 8.30pm and the staff were so miserable it's untrue and when we got our food it was literally cold and they had given us the wrong dips. Sadly we were back on the A34 by the time we started it or we'd have gone in and complained. Absolutely rubbish!!

Food not very hot, only two staff members on duty so they were rushed off their feet! Food order correct but had no mayo. No veggie option unless you like fake chicken or fake beef - bring back the spicy bean burger please! Thankfully other equally overly expensive food outlets were open so I ended up paying nearly a fiver for a sandwich!

Warning to anyone who is thinking of visiting here, Don't I was going to but witnessed one of their staff in uniform in the public toilets, use the toilet and then leave without washing their hands, it is seriously disgusting. Then as I'm leaving see that person behind the counter touching food with no gloves on. So glad I went to the toilets before deciding on eating, otherwise he could of been serving me, I certainly won't be risking eating here in the future. This happened today 1st June about 10 / 15 mins before I left this review. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Revolting. Only the second time I’ve ever had a Burger King and I quickly remembered why. Stopped here late at night on our way home. We ordered two double bacon cheeseburgers, one with fries, one with cheesy fries, a Sprite and a coke. Firstly the food was cold, the place was empty so no excuse. The bacon was insipid, the burgers tasteless and the ‘cheese’ on the fries was some weird squirty cheese that bore no resemblance to actual cheese. The Sprite wasn’t Sprite, it was definitely a soda stream type drink with a splash of Sprite flavouring and it was flat. Same with the coke. Complete waste of money at almost £20. We should have bought an M&S sandwich at a fraction of the price and at least we would have had some decent food. Never again.

Ordered here today to watch absolute scummy staff mess with people's food, I had a chicken royal served to me which has been snapped on half and "mushed" in a standard burger bun with no sauce or garnishing like usual half a portioned of cold fries and post mix drink which was just the soda water I didn't realised until we had left so binned it as I had also Watched a "cook" put his face In someone's burger before trying to serve it luckily the man saw this and demanded a fresh one be made so god knows what they had one to mine. When questioned by the lad working the till they all just laughed and continued to mess with people's food. This is absolutely disgusting and the place should be shut down or staff fired. Reported to there office so we will see what happens. I will never stop or eat at this service station again.

Strasznie długi czas oczekiwania na zamówienie pomimo nie zbyt wielu osób. Zamówiłem frytki z serem i bekonem oraz loda, na tak małe zamówienie trzeba było czekać 15 min pomimo że frytki mieli zrobione. Smak tych dań też pozostawiał wiele do życzenia.

Wszystko nez zarzutu. Byliśmy całą rodziną i jesteśmy zadowoleni.

Karina was the Best worker, a very happy and smiling person. She also helps me a lot. Definitely, I Wii be back at the restaurants. ❤️❤️❤️

Don't understand how bad my cheese burger could be so cold when they took so long to cook for the price is was no better than a 99p burger from McDonald's so I recommend Greg's next door..now we go straight passed it an go another 6 miles to McDonald's in newbury we will never ever recommend bugerking again I can put it in one word rubbish

Stopped here for food after a long journey to London. We ordered our food and when we got it were disappointed. The order was not correct, so took the food back and was told its gonna be 15 minute wait which was fine. Then within 2 mins came a burger so took back to our table to eat it and it was cold like it had come out of the fridge not even warm. Went back and asked for a fresh one and happy to wait for the staff to huff and put it in the microwave which resulted in the bun going soggy. Didn't eat the burger as was rubbery so ended up chucking it. The staff were rude and the food wasn't the best.

I was served by, I assume, a manager and she was the rudest worker I have ever met, I asked her a question and she told me to “go away”! I then ordered a chicken royale and a whopper meal, both were cold and the chicken royale looked pink inside. We threw both in the bin. There is also an infestation of rats at this BK and someone told me that there was one in the kitchen a couple of weeks ago. Do not eat here.

I can not comprehend how BK can make burgers taste so bad. I had a triple whopper coz I normally have triple cheeseburger in McDonalds. And it was just dry, meat patties had no taste. Bun wasn’t nice either. Wasted money.

Second night we have been to Burger King at 9.30pm advertising open til 10 and closed !! Absolutely disgusted , the only place in walking distance from the travel lodge and now cannot have anything to again to eat avoid like the plague

Slow service and super busy. Had low expectations though did not meet that unfortunately. A positive is they accepted NHS blue light discount in this venue. Burger was okay; had it outside the benches, though I would image if you took it home it would be cold.

Always cold food as F I’m a driver between Newbury and London and always try to rest a bit in the service area I’m uploading photos you can see burgers are crying chips are ice cold and oil melted and dried on potatoes Usually they dont have coke or pepsi so they offer you rubbish capri sun orange juice Really the service is horrible

Had a vegan burger. Removed all other ingredients so should have been cold. Came out with ketchup and was stone cold. Worst burger King I've ever had!

It looks like Burger King doesn't care about service here. Please change your working hours, as you inform you start at 7am...7.10am, still closed, while everything around is open. Costa, M&S, others open at 7...and are open. Workers were inside, just not fancy to start work...

We stopped looking forward to a nice burger king Aberdeen Angus burger,only serving Argentinian Angus,it was truly awful,rank overpowering cheese which was hard,a bit of wet looking spinach like leaves,bedraggled mess,and an unpleasant relish, all in all as a regular BK customer enough to put us off

Chievley motorway service area Burger King, would rate 0 stars however google won't let me. On the Internet and app the shop supposedly closes at 11pm everyday however when going to order at 10pm today we were told "we are shut". The members of staff are also incapable of traversing the restaurant as proven by one person who ended up flat on his back.

Food was fresh and tasty and our order was right for a change but service wasn’t very good at all. Customer service is key to offering an all round good service, a smile goes a long way. Rude and unhelpful staff doesn’t tick these boxes

food was up to standard however, the service I received was appalling. I can understand that I ordered 15 mins before closure, but they messed up one item and I did say "sorry to be a pain". What shocked me the most was the response from what looked like their manager gave. she replied with "well, you are being a pain" and so I replied "thankyou and have a nice day".

We visited the services on our way back from our holiday. Had a Burger King and then left. A few days later my daughter realised she had left a fleece on the seat. We managed to make contact with the services who confirmed the fleece had been found. We offered to pay for postage as we didn’t fancy the 2 1/2 hour journey to collect. Another few days passed before they made contact. They wanted our address to send package, and we received package 2 days later. We didn’t have to pay postage at all! We were very impressed with their service. Thank you very much to whoever found the fleece and to who sent it out to us.

Normal BK fayre - pretty quick service. It was freshly cooked. They don't have their own seating, you have to go into the central area for tables and chairs. Not the most pleasant service station - more soleless than most! Usual service station premium applied to the prices.

Go there regular, and they are as efficient as ever, always helpful and work with a smile.

This is the best whopper I have ever tasted in the whole UK. We also ordered two kids meals, chicken sandwich meal, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and cheesy bites. Great Great Great. all was excellent. I hope I had a store in that perfection near Cardiff where I live. This store, the manager and all employees deserve the complement.

£4.98 for 2 cheeseburgers that would cost £1.98 at any other Burger King. No thanks. I wanted a mix of cheeseburgers and chicken burgers. Fancy a chicken burger? You're out of luck at this Burger King. Convenient location during trips, but bad service and vastly overpriced compared even to other Burger Kings. I'll not be going there again.

Wish I had read the reviews before coming here! Came just before closing and had a halloumi burger meal - price is almost that of a meal in a pub, but not even half as good. Halloumi was dry and solid - totally not worth the £7.50 charged for the meal!

Poor service. Didn't get what I ordered and they were understaffed so to get the correct item would have taken too long. Not ideal for a service station restaurant. My partner got something from Gregg's which looked nicer and was better value. If I was passing through this services again I would use Gregg's.
