Very polite servers in drive through… possibly the most attentive, clearly spoken and well mannered I’ve experienced. However, food was pretty average, cold in places. Coke Zero was flat. Had to pay 10p per sauce, never had to pay in other McDs! Shocking!!

From the lack of paper to give receipts, cold food, missing napkins and empty condiments this was a very poorly run restaurant. Can't blame lack of staff as there were loads I could see, but lack of management is obviously driving the appalling service here. Thankfully management was kind enough to leave cleaning products out so that we could clean our own table, as no-one else seemed to be doing it. Just hope some kid doesn't get hold of it😬

The restaurant was pretty much empty, yet absolutely filthy. There wasn't a clean table to sit at, the floor was covered in dropped food and there were trays with food piled up everywhere. No cleaning took place at all while we were there. Abysmal. We complained to the manager who didn't apologise, just made the excuse that the person cleaning up had spent half an hour outside. They needed to concentrate on the inside, where the customers actually were.

So slowwwww. Been in the queue now for the McDonald’s drive thru for 30 mins. Not sure why it’s taking so long but it’s been like this for at least the last 3 times I’ve been here. So long that I’m writing a review on TripAdvisor

Lunch time on Sunday. Food cold as it came through the window. 3 Happy meals with no toys and one drink kissing from the order and no sauce on the burgers. Female serving could not care less. Don’t eat here.

Avoid this McDonald’s at all cost, I had some black “crystallised chocolate” in my vanilla milkshake, I only noticed it halfway through the milkshake when it shooted up the straw into back of my throat, my order was also an hour delayed and cold and I only ordered a wrap and a triple burger, never again

We ordered 6 burgers , 2 fries and 1 wrap. Dry away we asked, did they put everything in bag. Because last time when we went back home , was wrap missing. They accept- yes! And again today- chicken wrap missing!!!! Our home is 10 minutes away from MCDonalds Have to drive back, for a wrap! Its second time happened in St. Ives MCDonald! Its not ok!!! We paid money, so, staff,-look after what you doing and how you making order!!!!!

Despite having a reduced menu during these times, we visited Mcdonald’s and ordered from the drive-thru. Being vegetarian, I could only choose the veggie dippers but really enjoyed them. They are vegan approved! Other food purchased included a Chicken Selects® meal and a plain double cheeseburger, all of which were good too.

Yet another stone cold McDonald’s last night, we live in Fenstanton, 5 minutes in the car from the drive thru, everytime we get food and bring it home the food is like it’s been sat in a fridge for half an hour.Do not und understand why this branch always serves such cold food compared to other McDonalds we’ve visited across the world. Please start getting it right !

Previous visits to this Mcdonald’s have often resulted in poor service, wrong orders and long waits. This pit-stop was more successful and there were no issues with the drive-thru service collecting a cheeseburger and McFlurry. Both orders were good and there was no hanging around; literally the definition of ‘fast food’. Better stuff.

Entered a clean building that was open planned and well laid out. I stood at an empty counter for seven minutes before anyone saw me, there’s not much visibility from the kitchen area to the tills but I expected someone to be looking out for customers. Almost makes up for it when the food was ready in less than two minutes.

I'm guessing that this restaurant has just opened and it's just teething problems. However, I only ordered a coffee, waited almost 10 mins, and when it arrived it was the wrong order. The decor and location is excellent and I'd expect it to hit the usual high standards, just not right now.

I don’t know what it is about this Donald’s but it just doesn’t seem to run smoothly at all.On my most recent visit, placed a takeaway order on the screen ordering system - no problems there. Then you wait and wait. There are people dashing out of the kitchen but no-one really stands on the counter for any length of time. I witnessed one member of staff drop someone’s order in the back and then he dropped mine which caused further delay!Eventually my order came out .... good job I checked it before I left because it was missing a veggie burger. It then took me ages to get the attention of a member of staff to report this ... meanwhile my order was getting cold!Even when I got home I realised that half the sauces I had ordered weren’t there. Couldn’t be bothered to drive back for those as by this time my order was nearly cold anyway.I think I’ll go to other more efficient Donalds in future.

I have now used this fast food outlet - as a drive through - on no less than 10 occasions at different times of the day in the last 6 months and have yet to find fault with either the friendly, competent efficient service or the quality of the food. The only glitch has been when the computer taking payments crashed (probably my new card) and it took a manager 5 long minutes to reset it and that built up quite a queue. I have used the Big Mack for £1.99 on production of a voucher code several times too and have no complaints about the way that was handled. It's a popular place and I can understand why. I have even observed the manager going around emptying the external waste bins to keep the place looking prim and proper.

Using the drive-thru very recently, the staff at Mcdonald’s allowed me to buy a sugar ring doughnut despite them being not in stock. We got to the second window - after paying for the doughnut and other items! - to find one girl leaning out to tell me they could give it to me. They compensated by giving me two chocolate chip cookies instead, but it’s the principle. I’ve only ever had poor experiences at this Mcdonald’s as this follows a time where I ordered a Mcmuffin for breakfast one morning but got given a bacon roll and no hash brown, only discovering this after driving away from the drive-thru. They appear disorganised and understaffed at this place.

Been here several times now. Although food isn't too bad customer service is poor. There listening and reading skills are very poor. When i use the drive through, order is always incorrect. It really peaves me off. Can see how anyone needs a gcse to work here. Key stage 2 don't even cut it!

Eeeeeeeeeeeee I am LIVID. Took my son and his chums and my father to this so called “maccies” *sips cold hot chocolate. Ahhhhhhh first I’m not the type of guy that carries the benjamins so naturally I use the card. I approach the machine and did my regular and my card wasn’t accepting. I get told that the card machine wasn’t working after all the hassle of putting in the order. Sooooooooo lucky the old man wiped out the job seeker allowance money and paid the regular. We then had to wait for 17 minutes 15 seconds I ain’t no maccies expert but the regular usually takes just over 5 minute mark. Whilst we was waiting for the order daddy and the kiddies wanted to play (area) *removes gerkin from the cold burger. We received the order and they forgot my sons carrot sticks.

Avoid this place! Not worth the stress. Multiple trips here have shown that they don’t have a clue what they are doing! They get every order wrong, every visit. Managers have zero training in dealing with customer complaints and fail to resolve any issues, instead falling into immature approaches by trying to call customers liars etc. Too much stress for something that is meant to be fast, easy and stress free. Clearly higher management have hired kids on the cheap with zero experience and put them in charge of this McDonald’s. Looks good on the budget sheets though with those low salaries! Hope this review saves some people from the hassle of this poorly run place.

Similar to the Caxton Gibbet CB23 roundabout restaurants across Cambridgeshire, this area opposite Morrisons now has a Mcdonald's, Subway and a soon-to-be-open Costa Coffee. The Mcdonald's is new, modern and often quite busy during the evenings, especially the drive-thru facility. Staff at the windows are friendly. So far, so good.

I liked that the price of the mighty bucket for one was £2 than I last paid. That said, the screen said that my food when it was ready when it was not ready - they were all like that. It must appear in the stats that they are dishing it out in no time, when this is not the case. The tables in the middle were dirty. As KFC goes these days, this food was towards the better end of the range.

An awful place, to be avoided at all costs. Visited with my family and were served pink chicken. This was flagged to the manager who admitted that sometimes the machine doesnt cook the chicken properly. No accountability or appreciation for customer service or basic food hygiene. I will be escalating with the local authorities and KFC. Such a shame that the Proud KFC name has been tainted.
