McDonalds in Watford

St Albans road McDonald’s is a shambles… The food is vile, cold and just disgusting. The amount of times my order has been incorrect, the amount of times I have found hairs in my food and so on. If your in a rush, you’d be better off driving the extra 10 mins to the garston maccies or just go hungry

DONT GO Long queue, cold food, burger on its side, and my girlfriend was ill on the night time after eating burger, discussed with this place

I don’t even think the staff are on this planet. Guy on drive through speaker didn’t understand our order. He kept messing it up. So we said don’t worry we will come in instead. We sit down and are immediately pounced on to use the machine to order. And we were escorted to the machine. I wanted to pay by cash but was told no one serving at the till must use machine 🙄 machine didn’t give out a receipt in fact all the machine receipts were out. There was so much confusion of whose order was whose. There was no one actually at the till. The staff seemed to be avoiding any face to face conversations regarding taking an order or chasing up an order. Just calling out random numbers of which 5 or 6 delivery drivers were fighting over all of the food opening up bags or making claim to food. We waited 45 mins and still no food. I asked for a refund and was told to present receipt for refund…. What from the machine that has no receipt paper which is the whole reason it’s all messed up. Ended up with a member of staff who said it was day off and just happened to be popping by stepped in and showed him my bank app showing the deduction. Who then somehow managed to refund it back from the till. The cleaner was a lovely lady. Probably the only sane one out of all of them working that day. Ended up going to Tim hortons and got food within 5 mins.

Drive throu always long que and then once you get your food after a long wait the food is cold. Worst Mc Donalds ive been too.

First McDonalds of the year, so nice, but a really limited, badly advertised menu. The menu (limited) that you are asked to choose from is further reduced.

I really don't know how they can get an order so wrong, so often, in addition the chips are usually Luke warm and the burger being close to too cold to eat. Come on McDs, you must have your franchises monitored to ensure quality is of a constant standard. I suggest you travel to Garston and get a take away from there as it always seems to be, for my family, the preferred choice

Table service was polite and efficient. Self service stations make ordering a breeze. Burgers? Well, it's a Maccie D's! Yerp, good standard cheap food.

Quick service, lovely pancakes although getting a little expensive!! Would help if butter was soft as whilst you wait the pancakes get cold

Ordered my drinks and dessert at 11:56am (according to the receipt). Simple enough - two strawberry sundaes and a large coke without ice. I waited and waited - as did several others - and eventually at 12:16pm I did receive the desserts (which were starting to melt already) and the drink. The drink had clearly been standing around so long the ice had nearly all melted - yes the ice which I clearly stated I didn't want and which it clearly states on the receipt. Then I had to ask for spoons for the desserts, indeed had to ask twice because the employee was constantly talking to a colleague. Oh, and said employee was clearly one of the senior staff judging by his attire.
