the order was very slow going through and I didn't receive my code I started my work an uber delivery man arrived. He appeared to have difficulty understanding simple English and he was very difficult to understand as he just kept repeating Code he was calling my mobile number and repeating code on the phone. I showed him that it was me he was calling but he just repeated code I explained that I hadn't received a code and I told him exactly what the order consisted of but to no avail.He left with my order which I had paid for.Then I tried to complain on the uber app but all it kept doing was showing me a picture of my food and showing it as delivered! Absolutely appalling service. Luckily I work full time as a night receptionist at a large establishment where I am asked at least 3 x a shift what food de companies I recommend needless to say I will ensure to explain why I don't recommend Uber food. As I paid with PayPal hopefully I will get my money back ASAP. It is totally unacceptable for a company not to be able to deal with a straight forward staff capability issue by being contactable. After several poor experiences in the past, this restaurant seemed to be back on track….. until tonight….. I ordered a double quarter pounders meal and when delivered it was missing the double quarter pounder!!!! Is it really that difficult? As it was Uber eats, they just refunded me the amount so nothing will happen regarding the restaurant. They just don’t care.

Absolutely awful McDonald’s, I don’t understand how they can produce a cold, dry burger every time I go here, no matter the time of day. I trick myself in to thinking “it’ll be alright next time, it’s McDonald’s” but no, it’s terrible every single time, guaranteed. I would bet my house on your burger being disappointing.

Well, all I can say is the staff there need some training around how to deal with customers properly! I ordered breakfast, took my seat and waited.. and waited and eventually my food came. As their sauce machine was out of order I asked if I could grab a ketchup for my hash brown. I was told I needed to speak to the manager? So up I got, waited at the till for the manager, and asked for a ketchup as I could not use the machine… the response was it’s not broken, we don’t have the cups and that will be 10p… Now I am not going to make a scene over 10p but I pointed out that had they ordered cups I could have some ketchup, could I just put some on a napkin? I was met with the most patronising and condescending reply of “that’s subject to availability only, if you want a ketchup that will be 10p… Yet I can help myself to as much sugar/ sweetener and milk sachets as I wanted??? McDonalds, sort yourselves out… I am paying £6.39 for something that a year or two ago was £4.09 and you won’t even give me a ketchup??? The only reason I gave two stars is because the food tasted nice!

Queued through the drive through. No milkshakes as machine broken Ordered Big Mac meals and paid. Collected order and I asked for some Ketchup. “You have to pay extra for that” How much ? “You have to go to the other window” What ? And queue up again for ketchup ? It’s always free everywhere else !!! Food was cold anyway so the whole experience was absolute awful. What was a simple stop for a snack ended up making me angry, feeling ripped off and now I hate McDonald’s enough to write a review.

This is now becoming a trades description act issue after reading so many similar reviews. No sauces as advertised and ordered on every single occasion, burger flung in the box and piled high with a ridiculous amount of lettuce that I had to pick through it to find the burger in the box. Cold fries. It’s a joke. This time I’m perusing this to a higher level. It’s false advertising and fraudulent.

I'm a fan of the Big Tasty With Bacon; when it's in its seasonal rotations I try to grab it as much as I can (maybe once a week or so). Since it came back this last time though (winter 2022) I've ordered it a sum of eight times, and five of those times have received a regular Big Tasty. I'm being charged for a bacon. The screen at the restaurant is confirming a bacon. So why am I not getting the bacon? In addition to this I once ordered a breakfast meal and pancakes, and I only got the pancakes, drink, and hash brown. Sixfields McD's is BEYOND ridiculous at this point, and the staff need to learn to READ orders.

Let us start with this ... when we order from Uber Eats or Just Eat, it is them we have the contract with, not McDonalds. When it goes wrong, we need to contact them which results in a refund and a hungry customer. Now, what part do McDonald's play in this? Delivery Service: They have 100% responsibility for the delivery companies they hand the food to. If, as seems to be the case, delivery companies fail to deliver it is the store who should ensure that the delivery service improves. Food: It is the stores responsibility to ensure that everything a customer orders is included in that bag they pass out for delivery as though it were the customer in front of them in the store. What does happen?: Because McDonalds take no responsibility for home deliveries (other than to profit), they don't seem to respond to complaints from customers when things are wrong. This could be food missing or orders failing to get delivered. Because the delivery companies are not the restaurant and don't deal with complaints other than to give an automatic refund, they do not take responsibility for future deliveries either. Drivers can effectively do whatever they want with an order and the worst consequence seems to be, and I am speculating, they won't get paid for the particular job but, I am speculating and they may face no consequences at all as the delivery companies need drivers. My Experience: Disabled household so ordered out after a busy day at this store using Uber Eats. The app said the driver was outside but, no one came to the door. We looked outside and couldn't see anyone. Called the driver and asked if there were a problem he said that no, he had delivered our food to us (guy called Marian) and that was all fine. We asked where he delivered and he insisted it was our house. He said he even asked them if they were Mr ******** and they said yes so he knows it was us! He was asked, what does the house look like? He then just hung up. Called the store they apologised and said they would look our for this Marian and have very strong words with him, to leave it with them and just get a refund from Uber. Despite being absolutely shattered and in a lot of pain, we still needed food so went to the store. Standing next to us was this Uber driver, Marian. No one was talking to him, we could see the manager, he did nothing so this guy who lied to us and allegedly delivered the food to a neighbour was given another order and he left. What pride in there in that from McDonalds? There is clearly some part of their thinking which distances them from any responsibility and they will keep doing the same thing over and over content that this is not their problem, it's Uber Eats. Well, McDonalds at Sixfields, it is your problem. You allow these drivers to steal from your customers, that is on you, we don't like it. I've also noticed that despite all the complaints on here, not one reply from the store.

They got literally every single item on the order wrong. Phoned them and they did nothing to help except give a phone number for just eat. Just eat did not answer so called the restaurant back, and they literally did nothing. Basically, they took money off us, gave us the wrong order, gave nowhere near the quantity of what we ordered either and gave nothing back.

Called in at 21.10 and ordered food with my partner. As we were there, one of the servers was very unprofessional and came out from behind the counter and chatted with his friends. Whilst he was doing this there were orders on the screen and there were people waiting to collect their food. This young chap had glasses and dark hair. Our order was on 999 seconds when it was served, and the food was cold when received. The order in itself was incorrect, and was poorly made. It should not take that long, especially with only two other orders on his screen. When we received our order it was practically thrown at us over the counter, and he made little effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall; I thought this was very poor service, and I think the staff in general could do with more training and discipline. Appalling behaviour.

I came here to meet friends. The food was standard, cheap and cheerful, but not very hot. My order was taken efficiently and the server apologised for a slight delay in bringing it. What struck me, though, was the attitude of a cleaner, Erika. Always smiling, she seemed to do everything with love. Single-handed, she made the place feel more like home.

Nightmare car park to get in and out of .My friend had to shout our order through in the drive through so they could hear us. Was told to park in waiting bay and someone would bring our order out. Parking bay causes obstruction for other customers in drive through. And to top things of after leaving and getting home half our order was missing. will not be returning.

I visit numerous McDonald's around the country this is one of the best. Spotlessly clean, good service and hot tasty food. I ate in and an army of staff ensured all areas were kept free of litter and clean. Well done!

I tend to use McDonalds occasionally and had gained 6 stickers to get a free cup of coffee. Be warned though as I'll never do this again! Firstly you're treated like a leper when you say you have a free coffee and when the coffee was given to me it was dripping wet through, the cup was covered in stickers and the coffee was cold. They clearly hold coffees back that are perhaps poured in error and use them for when people request the free cup of coffee. If McDonald's are unable to meet the promotional obligation, then perhaps they shouldn't run it. I know this was just a cup of coffee, but the whole experience was thoroughly unpleasant and I'll never be using McDonald's in sixfields Northampton again. I'll also be complaining to head office for the whole episode as I've wasted 15 minutes queueing for a coffee that ended up in the bin.

I did not actually go into this cafe but witnessed an amazing act of humanity from the 2 staff members inside their store during the late shift of 14/09/2023. Without going into too much detail, where others would've kicked someone out of the store these two ladies ensured that their customer was dealt with, with compassion, humanity, patience. Great to see kind people still in the world.
