McDonald's in Test Valley

Standard McDonald’s food, but come on, what is taking so long in the drive through these days????? The past few times I’ve been here, you may as well go to a restaurant, nothing “fast” about this fast food. It’s should be taking 2-4 minutes to serve each person. Not 8 minutes plus. People work around here, they don’t have time for your employees to sit around and have a chat when buying FAST food.

Tonight got my meal at the drive through asked for a pot of cream for my dog manager said NO others like Gregg's and Costa do I'm not going there again

We visit this McDonald's at least once per month and I never have a problem with the food, staff and others. Sometimes the quality of food may be different, but it's okay for me. Usually, 9/10 is good.

I use the drive through to feed my tween once a week her "treat Macy D" when I order anything other than chips the staff seem to get it wrong. I always end up with a burger different from what I ask for. Today I got a spicy burger instead of 5 chicken pieces. This burger was very depressing. Mega thin chicken, very hard rock like bread crumb. I ate the chicken thing. Left the sad looking sugar titts bun and rock bolders crumb. They made me park up because they were budy preparing the wrong main, and forgot the extra fries so I was stood at the drive through like a 🍋 lemon asking for my extra fries. I waited at the intercom for a long time, and four cars managed to cut in front of me. As a result, I had to go into the store, and some items were missed from my order.

It's McDonald's, this one at time visited it was Nice Clean but upstairs was closed off so only disabled toilets were only available. Other then that fast service friendly

Usually get a good meal from here via deliveroo, Tonight's was absolutely terrible!! 2x mcchicken burgers, Stone cold chicken so tough, no mayonnaise or lettuce in either of them! Also chips were very cold!! Phoned up they said its down to deliveroo and hung up. Will not be ordering again!!

Great service from an elderly lady working there. She helped out cleaning our table and have us a massive smile.

Totaly c__p, placed order on app, paid but when arrived to collect the branch said it was closed, strange that the pay to deliver was still ok. This is the 4th time this has happened. Should close the branch for good.

This restaurant in Andover is one of the best we have visited. Food is ALWAYS hot, which everyone knows is unusual for Mcd's. It is very clean, staff always cheerful and greet you etc....WELL DONE obviously good management and team.

Went to this McDonald’s at around 10:30 on Saturday evening - greeted by two lovely guys who were super nice and chatty - all food was great too. My boyfriend and I agreed that it was the chattiest nicest service we’d ever had at a McDonald’s :)

Ordered from this store as it’s our closest my god I won’t ever be going here AGAIN order was completely wrong and when phoned we was met by a very RUDE worker on the other end of the line. We requested thing to be removed and on the sticker said it had been but definitely had not been. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Absolutely terrible! I'm sick of McDonalds!! Ordered 5 meals via delivery as a treat for the family and only 3 meals came. I ordered through the McDonalds app and if you have a complaint its very difficult to get any help. The drivers phone number also doesn't work once your order has been delivered! Once you do get hold of anyone, you cant have the missing meals just a refund.. What the?!! The 3 meals that did come were stone cold so we had to heat them up in the microwave... How does a company this big continue to get away with shocking food and service. Why isnt there a buddy to the employee packing the 'food for delivery' making sure everything is in the bag and is fresh? Employees should also have strikes against them for any order not correct! This food isnt cheap. Very unhappy customer and deffo wont ever be buying a McDonalds again. This isnt the first time we have had items missing, but didnt complain, now i'm annoyed!

Rubbish, ordered food for delivery. The order was wrong with missing or wrong items. Went into the restaurant to sort and the staff would only replace what was missing, they refused to replace the entire order, forcing me to take the food they gave me from the missing order home to eat with a cold meal. Very expensive, about £8 for a burger and chips. Over £7 for a few cheese bites.

Just terrible. Went through the drive thru with no one else there, for them to serve 5 other cars in the other lane who all turned up after us. Spoke to James the manager and apparently being in the inside lane makes all the difference. James also insisted his colleagues have other jobs to do, I'm not denying they don't but there was two of you managing the drive thru, it wasn't busy and no one could acknowledge we were waiting at the very least. Such rude staff, obnoxious and seriously inexperienced in all areas of customer service. Just shocking, avoid at all costs. Portway on the other hand, amazing customer service 👏 👌 left my custom and went there.

Ordered three McMuffin meals all were over cooked two were missing an egg and it took an hour to arrive; never again!

The biggest problem I find with any McDonald's is the lack of consistency with having food that is hot. The drive-thru service here is generally good even when busy, and staff have often been friendly, but nothing more disappointing than having a lukewarm burger or fries.

Terrible terrible service. We ordered a McDonalds a couple of months ago for delivery and it came cold because the delivery drive supposedly couldn’t find us even though we’re really not that difficult to find and no other delivery service has any trouble. So we decided to drive up and go in and order McDonald’s instead and it was so busy, and they obviously couldn’t cope. Every second there was constant orders for delivery and I think that’s why they messed our order up. We spent over forty pounds for us to only receive half the order. Unfortunately we didn’t check until we were already home because it was so busy inside but we didn’t get all our drinks and half or our food order was not in the bag. I am very very unhappy and I feel like even if we went back to order they would mess it up again.

Ordered online for lunchtime, order arrived missing one of the wraps, called and no offer of sending it out, so one person goes hungry. The offer of a free meal next time is pointless.. Won't use again

Overall very good experience. Based on a few visits I’ve only had 1 bad experience, where I ordered breakfast pancakes, received no napkins; syrup, cutlery, receipt, and wrong drink! But all other times the food is hot, served quick enough. I order on the app so don’t go inside. Would recommend

Only a flying visit on our way to Bracknell after a long day

Deliveroo order. Shocking again. Freezing cold, my milkshake was completely melted, it was 20mins later than estimated and every single time we order, more than half our fries are missing. It's not rocket science. The fry scoop measures the portion. So where are our fries? For 4 orders of 1 large, 2 medium and a small, we only had enough fries to fill one large fry container. Again. Lucky you can microwave a Macca's meal. No more orders from here.

Not the fastest service (although not unique to this branch since they changed the way they do the food). Biggest annoyance was the missing food items. I forgot to check before I left and by the time I found out at home it would be a waste of fuel to go and get it. They really need to double check the contents against the screen and receipt before handing it over.

The food is unique probably, I normally prefer ordering online but when I’m not I go here. Minimum characters are making me type this

My friend and I decided to pop to the drive through to get a Chicken Bacon caesar wrap for our lunch. Service through the drive through was efficient and the resulting food was pleasing in taste and presentation. I love how McDonalds show the calories per food item. This wrap of a great choice for those wanting to grab something on the go whilst minding calories. My only gripe is that they still tempt one to have the 'meal' with fries and a drink. Sometimes that tempting smell of fries wafting around the air is just impossible to resist and so the calories intake goes up.

I mean you can't exactly call McDonalds food 5 star... it is what it is and the atmosphere is never going to be top notch but I will say this the staff are superb, from the incredibly courteous and accommodating manager to the kind young lad who offered to clear the table for us. Top marks for service!

As I was here I wanted to eat fine food and McDonald's is my restaurant of choice but I was left feeling underwhelmed. The lack of sophistication and high dip prices were upsetting. The food was good except yhe chips which were soggy any not containing enough heat. I also could not obtain a WiFi signal.

Waiting over 30min for fast food. Nothing fast about this experience. Also new experience, missing items from orders VIA delivery, you are not able to make a complaint as they send you to UBER eats. Absolutely shocking. Staff can't be bothered to do their basic job (except Jane. Jane is about the only good one there) their attitude to customers is appalling. Basic requests are either ignored or just parred off. The play area when open is foul. Delivery never has the correct items in, and usually your drinks will be spilt in the bottom of the courrier's bag.If you call the store they just don't care and to be honest, I really really don't know why I bother

Weirdly shaped McDonalds with upstairs toilets. Service was friendly and helpful, would be glad to go back. PS Accessible toilets are ground floor, so no worries for those with mobility issues.

Been going here for years now, and never once has my order arrived at the table with everything on the tray. Not the cleanest place. This time it was a drink missed off.

There is always something wrong/missing from the order. Staff always forget dips. Ignore you if you have special requests. Most of the time moody. Food is almost never hot. Every time I do order which is rarely I am disappointed even more than the previous time.

Check your order before leaving the drive thru because they get it wrong almost every time at this McDonald’s. It honestly has happened more often than not to us here. So frequently in fact that it’s starting to feel like they do it on purpose in hopes people won’t come back for their missing food/refund. Frustrating cause for the odd time we do have a McDonald’s it’s the most convenient for us and the food that does make it’s way to your bag is usually hot and tasty.

Just spent £1.99 on a large Diet Coke! Absolutely disgusting hike in price. Apparently the franchisee of this McDonalds (New Street Andover) can set their own prices. Well someone’s raking it in. Never going back.

Orderd on Just Eat and the driver has put they have delivered my order which has absolutley had no attempt to even locate the street let alone the front door. Now £30 out of pocket due to cheap labour and untrustworthy staff, who essential steal customer orders. You should question the integrity of all your drivers as they are failing to provide a service. All ordering deliver from here approach with caution or give a wide birth all together shocking.

My grandchildren ate all there Happy meal and enjoyed the dot to dots. The staff are really friendly and it was lovely and clean.

It's McDonald's, so you know what to expect! This is a fairly large, modern branch, with two floors, lots of tables, and a drive-through option. If you like McDonald's, this is a good one!

Perfectly fine McDonald's, food is good and the staff are very nice and I appreciate how for the most part they are friendly even when it gets very busy. Cold food after waiting for twenty five minutes

Good sized restaurant with plenty of room upstairs. Toilets were fairly clean which is unusual for MDs. Food and staff were standard.
