my grandma, mum, sister and i came here for lunch. i wasn’t very hungry so just wanted carrot sticks and a mcflurry but it didn’t have it so i wanted a fruit bag didn’t have it then i wanted pineapple slices and it was fine and had no mcfurrys so i got a milkshake. my sister and grandmas meals came but there were no pineapple slices i am very disappointed and i’m fummin.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AVOID A UBER/DELIVEROO SERVICE FROM THIS MCDONALDS AT ALL COSTS. Ordered online to have the food delivered. One hour later, still no food. Driver didn't answer the phone. So we had to drive down the road looking for him. When we found him, he spoke no English and could not read the instructions to our house as he could not understand English. So when we brought the food in to the house, IT WAS COLD. A BURGER WAS MISSING. Rang McDonalds and spoke with the female manager, who said, she could not give us a refund. She could not send another driver out with the missing £7.99 burger. Suggested WE DRIVE TO COLLECT IT. So completely missing the point of a home delivery device. Utterly awful service. So unhelpful AVOID THIS PLACE !!!!

I am not a regular user of McDonalds and as a result of this experience I will not be using them again! The order arrived and it was warm, certainly not hot as you would expect. My coffee was stone cold and undrinkable. We spoke with the staff who did not appear in the slightest bit bothered and frankly viewed me as an inconvenience but did begrudgingly say that they would remake the order but “it will take a while”. I thought it was a fast food restaurant! I watched from a distance and the returned food remained on the counter for a good 5 minutes, after another 5 minutes our new food order appeared on a tray on the counter. It was then moved back under a heat light as one of the staff members had dropped one of our hot drinks on himself. The food remained under the heat lights until I approached staff to enquire why we had not received our new order. The shift manager was not in the least bit apologetic and argued that our order had been prioritised over others. I have to say that the restaurant was really not busy, so what was the delay, there were more staff than customers! I accept that we all make mistakes but the lasting memory is how that mistake is rectified. I will not be returning to waste my money on such poor food and very sub standard service.

They never answer early in the morning when you're waiting to order.... A new young girl is very rude..... Food is normally incorrect, never add sauces when you ask if they're in the bag.... Half the time they never have what you ask for, say they've run out

After waiting at the counter and being ignored by team trainer and manager the team trainer eventually looked up at me and went ‘are you waiting for something?’ Like I was an inconvenience if that’s the team trainers attitude god help who she is training!

** Uber eats delivery ** As per usual burgers looked thrown together or maybe they were cold ones taken out the chute and reheated/repacked badly. missing an item which is nothing unusual either. Cornwall’s no.1 worst McDonald’s year in year out.

Visited Macdonald's in Truro last night as a post-cinema treat with friends. Went into the store and ordered four meals to take away. Imagine our frustration when we got home to find they had only given us three meals. The "manager" couldn't have been less interested when I phoned to complain, just offering me a code to get the meal free when I next visit (which will be never!) or to do a 5 mile round trip to collect it, which I wasn't going to do on a cold and icy night. I understand that there was little else they could do there and then (except perhaps offer for a crew member to deliver it) but it was the attitude of the manager which suggested to me that this isn't a rare occurrence. My advice is to check your order when taking food away!!

I order a quarter pounder with no sauces… every time they shove the sauces in anyway!! So annoying and no response to emails etc

Absolutely appalling service, ordered from Uber Eats, and McDonald's staff have nothing but empty space between there ears as they missed a whole Happy Meal!, Dips and got a drink wrong! Not only that when I rang the store and ask the Manager to sort it out he said there was nothing he could and to contact uber eats! Not there fault you guys are imbeciles and cant pack food properly! Maybe if you lot had a brain cell between you, crap like this wouldnt happen! idiots!!

Ordered 3 items .. order contained 3 mistakes! 838214355 The food I got tasted fantastic but it wasn't exactly what I ordered. I ordered 3 items and they made 3 mistakes. Sadly I was videoing a review for my YouTube channel at the time. You can hear my order and see what I received. In the managers defence he was lovely and issued me a voucher for the missing items but this shouldn't be happening especially when I get them to read back my order to make sure its all correct!

I've waited a few months to see if things improved but they haven't. Screens often down or not working properly. Always some food not available due to broken machines, etc. Very slow (this is not fast food), so long queues, both drive through and inside. No table service for some time now. We have used this McDonald's most Saturdays after football for years, but have seen it slide downhill over the past couple of years sadly, and the management don't seem to be addressing the issues, so hence this review. NEED TO SORT IT OUT PLEASE.

this is my local mcdonald’s and can i just say how down hill they have gone!? they never get orders right, are ten times as slow, and the quality of the food has gone to s***. ordered from mcdonald’s on ubereats, they forgot one of our meals. ordered again another day and we only received 2 of 6 items. i couldn’t believe it. they really needed to sort their staffing out

So, it opens at 7am, but not actually ready to do service at 7am.... no one to answer the drive threw, eventually get to pay kiosk, they're not ready either...now, if someone happens to be in front of us and has ordered food, you have to sit and wait as, you guessed it...foods not ready..... Luckily I'm only having a coffee on my way to my 12 hour shift at the hospital.... But surely, if you open at 7, you should be ready to serve at 7, not outside the back doors smoking!!!!!

I've maccy drive through many times, on two separate occasions they have intentionally not given items (apple pies usually) At the drivethrough window I collected my families order, and saw him withhold a brown bag. He then disappeared with the bag (took it to his student mates sitting down) two minutes later after noticing i was still at the drivethrough window and seen him, reappeared and said 'my bad' and handed me some new cheeseburgers.

Chi Ken nuggets and wrap of the day, ordered in the drive thru hot, correct, filled a gap....not much more to say other than its easy to get to off the main road and has plenty of car parking.

Appalling Response to complaint! Found a massive clump of hair in my bag and was told that it was ‘my hair’ when I returned to the store. The hair was clearly a dark brown/black and I am light ginger headed. First the women at the door stated it was ‘fluff’ and then it was ‘my hair’ why would I pull out a piece of my hair to return 2 99p cheese burgers? Was handed back the bag and wasnt even given an apology. Very rude and ignorant would not recommend. As well as they are all serving food with NO HAIR NET!?!?

Been a customer of macdonald's for several years,always have at least a coffee from them daily. The staff have always been nice and polite. However in recent weeks alot of new staff have been there. They have no customer service and are very rude. One in particular is a manager,how is beyond me, he has no people skills and is a disgrace to the company. I have written a letter to complain about this particular person. They don't get your orders right, so having to queue again at drive through to get correct order, no apologies from them. So miserable and can't be bothered attitude. I hope the chap who owns the franchise does something about them. Bring back the original loyal polite pleasant staff.

I have been to this McDonald’s 4 times in the last couple of months and each time they have got my order wrong, giving me either someone else’s order or getting my own one wrong. Due to their social distancing policies where you have to stand across the road whilst waiting for a takeaway meal there is no way to go in and take it back if it is wrong and I have not been able to get through to any customer service. Won’t be returning here again, disappointed that even such simple orders can be ruined.

So after a long and busy day we decided to get the children a quick evening meal from the Truro branch. Needless to say when we pulled into the drive through it was rather busy, however after only ordering a cheeseburger happy meal and a Quarter pounder meal medium we drove off down the road to allow the kids to eat their meal in the comfort of their own home. Upon arriving we noticed that the Quarter Pounder Meal had NO chips, and the cheeseburger happy meal was in-fact a chicken nugget meal. Lucky for us the kids will eat anything however this is not the first time. Do they not have a QA person checking the orders prior to dispatch? It’s really not difficult to get an order right surly, if u can’t handle the pace, get out the kitchen. Bloody useless and someone needs to sort this out...

Has to be one of the worst McDonalds in Cornwall. Every time we've visited the meal seems to be plagued by the same issues. The Coke we had was flat and tasted horrible and the fries were rubbery and cold.

Went here today with our three year old grandson. Arrived at about 12.45 which seemed like a mistake because most of the students from the college across the road were there.

The coke barely had any flavour, the milkshake was watery, and the chips didn't have any salt on. I come here often and this is not what I expect from a franchise with this big of a market.

Thought id try the bbq signature burger. Was left very disapointed as i couldnt taste the bbq at all and the burger its self was very cold. It was a busy time of day but the burger was not up to standard. The only saving grace was the good service.

I can name a handful of Cornish Restaurants I’ve eaten at where I wish I’d just gone for a Mc Donald’s. It’s got 4* as I’m comparing a meal for £6 against restaurants which are double or more the price. Burgers good, service fast and you can monitor your calories easily. Couldn’t eat it every night but A good feed.

I needed some breakfast, so decided Mc D's as it was out of the city with parking. Bad choice. I walked in and out again. The Mc D is right next to the college and so it was full of teens all nursing a small drink and using the free WiFi. I did not really want to eat in a college refectory... So I left. A member of staff coming back from taking an order out spoke to us and said it was always like that, but she would find us a table and duly did so, wiped it and delivered our order to the table. Nice service and helpful staff. Food is a bit meh.... and too busy for my liking.

What's the point in having an order screen in the place if you then have to go and wait at the counter for your meal ? The staff were friendly but the big Mac was barely warm.

Terrible. I'm not sure why I bother going there really. Often bits of my order are missing. Today was no exception. I ordered 6 chicken selects with smoky barbeque sauce. I was given just one pot of standard barbeque sauce. I also ordered 6 mozzarella sticks and once again they came with no sauce. This is just the latest in a long line of poor attention to detail. I suppose at least this time they bothered to include all of the main items, which is sadly rather sporadic. If you want customer service and to receive everything that you order I'd recommend going to pizza hut over the road instead.

I have never been a fast food store whereby you are witness to employee bullying!! This employee that was unprofessional, abusive, rude and disrespectful was obviously in a management role, in my opinion he should be SACKED!! However I'm sure he will be protected as I've returned to the Truro Cornwall branch and he is still there throwing his weight around like he's above the rest of them, when in fact he is just a pay number like all the rest!!!!!

As usual the food here was good, everything full, ie relishes, ice cream etc. Other branches sometimes apply less! However the toilet facilities were very poor today. One cubicle roped off as broken, no toilet roll in any, one sink not draining properly and the hand dryer worked for about 2 seconds at a time! (Ladies)

I came in today for lunch and we won a medium extra value meal on the monopoly and we didn’t know how to get it, so we asked the manager joey and he explained and was very helpful he was very friendly and understanding. Great customer service!

Ordered a bagel with jam and a breakfast wrap. We were kept waiting for 10 minutes in the car bay. Then the bagel arrived with no jam. Not really hard to put jam in the bag. It took 10 minutes to get it wrong. Fast food? I beg to differ.

Good food and service, go here with friends or family and is a good quick stop off place to grab something to eat

Had a so called hot apple pie. Yeah right. Staff not what I would call friendly. Apple pies have shrunk. My son had a big tasty with bacon but it wasn't hot. Staff didn't seem friendly at all so didn't take it back. I would suggest going somewhere else for food. On a good note the coffee was nice

What can you say really as one Mcdonalds is pretty much the same as others. The service was very good and the food was good for a quick bite.

Restaurant was really busy, still got served quickly and order was ready in 5 minutes, no complaints about the food, kept 4 kids happy. Would return in the future

La mañana llegó el jueves 11. 30 no soy estaba ocupado utilizada máquina autoservicio estaba impecable y mi mujer y yo pedimos una gran comida mac cada normalmente me barrio pounder con queso. Debo admitir que las hamburguesas nunca como lo que es en la fotografía, sin embargo hoy quiero felicitar a quien colocó las hamburguesas juntos ese día como cuando abrí la caja de la hamburguesa era una obra de arte! Bien hecho y estaba buenísimo. Puede ser hecho en un rápido ritmo conjunta de hacer las hamburguesas como en las fotografías. También el chico que nos sirve lo siento su nombre no fue muy agradable y amable y sé que él significaba que cuando él dijo disfrutar de su comida. Otros mcdonalds tome nota de éste es una concesión y no la peor ubicación para extraño semáforo que hasta la carretera principal

Fuimos allí para comer algo rápido antes de visitar amigos y el servicio era bueno y amable, pero tuvimos que esperar un rato para el filete de harina de pescado para ser cocinados. Cuando la comida llegó, la señora muy amable trajo y la comida eran buenas y calientes. Le hubiera dado mejor sobresaliente, pero las mesas no fueron borrados a menudo y la entrada estaba tan resbaladizo debido a la lluvia y una pequeña niña mala en realidad decrecido. Puerta principal tenia un fallo y se mantienen alojados, por lo que bastante fría y con corrientes de aire en su interior.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos allí para comer algo rápido, después de un apartamento de hospital y fue absolutamente horrorizado por la manera en que un gerente hablaba de un cliente, él tenía mala actitud y modales le faltaba en. . Nuestra comida caliente que hace un cambio, pero nuestro batidos eran insatisfactorios, y si no fuera por el hecho de que estaba lleno de estudiantes universitarios en el almuerzo nos hubiera protestado. También tuvimos que llevar nuestra comida como cualquier mesas vacías estaban llenos de basura y suciedad. . En general, la comida buena pero mal servicio para maccys, espero que solo fue porque de lo lleno que estaba, pero yo no pienso volver a encontrar

Me dieron un muffin de arándanos que normalmente les encanta esto, pero esta vez no disfrutar algo primero pensé que era un poco frío, entonces tomó otro bocado y el medio estaba completamente congelado sólido! Tomé esta de vuelta y les dije que nos dijeron que no tienen más a la izquierda. Entonces ella salió la parte de atrás y me trajo uno. Mi compañero tenía queso chili nacho picaduras y fueron quemados fresco! No estaba contento y no volveremos!
