I had an in date voucher which allowed me to purchase a box of six chicken nuggets and medium fries for £1.99 (an identical voucher to the one I used in McD’s in their Camberley outlet last week which was accepted without fuss) but this outlet stated they do not accept any type of voucher. Needless to say, I bought a takeaway from Asda.

The app said it was delivered and it hadn't when I called the lady apologies and said it will be delivered soon. I requested a drink to compensate which she agreed, but no drink was added and the pizza was stone cold.

The food was cold, plus I had to wait over 3 hours for my food when I rang up the man was so rude. Never ordered from here again.

Calidad Restaurante. . . Sobre de vinagre. . ¡POR FAVOR! . . . . verdadera cocina de primera categoría. . . ¡NO!

Oh dear god. What a shame. The American Way has been a Cheam Village icon, a place to go since the early 70s. It used to be cosy and clean. Everyone in the 70’s and 80’s went to the American Way for an evening burger. Plus, in the early 2000s, they did the best soya/vege burger too. Sitting up at the bar having a Knickerbocker Glory! We went recently. So sad to see the place is dirty. Tables and floor filthy. No atmosphere. Have you seen outside the front? Old tables and miss-matched chairs! Sadly The American Way will no doubt close in the not-to-distant future. Wish someone would take it over and make it what it used to be back in the 70s

Whilst the Brook's main dishes consist of battered and fried chicken and fish replacements from the asian supermarket (by the brand TKC, see pictures attached), the owner Thea - a miserably failed country singer- is literally one of the most passive aggressive, arrogant, evil, ungrateful and patronising employers I have ever had. 0 capability to own a business or take any responsibility or accountability, ever. As a vegan herself, it seems quite pretentious to brand yourself as someone who's nice to animals but a total bully to humans/ employees. This place looks closed for now and seems to have gotten what it deserved. Rebranding an already existing, asian product as your own, simply does sit not well with me and shouts peak of white entitlement.
