McDonald's in Medway

I always come here after work, Drive Thru, early hours of the morning and never experienced a problem. Food is great, staff always friendly. Would like to give a mention to one guy, who probably doesn’t get the recognition he deserves and that’s the guy who tidies, washes and takes care of the car park. Wether it’s raining or not he’s always out here at gone 2am cleaning up after careless others.

Awful. When given my food the man coming out to the car basically just chucked the food at me. No thank you or have a good evening. Said not a single word. And to top it off, as per usual, gave me the wrong food in my order.

Was served by Chloe, very good customer services and the food was fresh and warm. Thank you Chloe!

Our food came up in 5 minutes, everything was nice and hot and as described, the restaurant was clean and the staff were polite. This branch has a drive through,a car park which can be very busy at peak times. It's possible to order from your table via the app and your food is brought to you. You can also use the McDonald's App to preorder, you get points and bonuses for having the App

All good was nice and hot and as advertised. Our order was ready in less thAn 5 minutes. We are in, the area was clean and the staff cleared the tables if those too lazy to do it themselves. It's a busy branch with a drive through, it's possible to order on the McDonald's App and get your food delivered to your table, you can also preorder on the way so it's ready when you get there. It's worth having the App as you earn points and get freebies and get offers too. Staff here were all polite. Parking is available but at peak times you may struggle to find a space

Friendly staff, but long waiting at the counter to pick up orders, they need to get their act together as far as counter service is concerned.

Didn't actually get food as the staff waiting until my order was placed to tell me I could pay by card.

It's a McDonald's so not much to write home about, but the food is always warm from this one at least. And you can't go wrong with a big tasty washed down with a coke zero and a mcflurry

This places is a bloody joke can't get 3 meals right at all and drink spend us someone small meal . and staff are useless when you ask where food is . Saying I don't know . If could would gave you no stars ✨️

Even when there are very little customers there’s still a long wait for any order little or small.. never any pace to the staff, they all just look very bored and not happy to be there. Every time you go through the drive through you get made to park up, but you can’t because everyone’s had to park so there’s never any space. Then when there are parking spaces, they put bins in them. They occasionally get your order correct. Wouldn’t bother adding an extra hash brown as it won’t get put in.

Extremely rude staff. Poor management for the takeaway orders, staff chatting and not give out ready to collect orders more than 20 min...

Has anyone gone through drive through without having to park up and wait. I’ve not once yet was served . Each time need to park up and wait.

Night manager today 02:10 am 26/02/24 useless. Paid for two large cokes and got mediums. Went in to ask why this was and if they could top them up and he was just rude saying a machine does it so no. Also said the difference between a medium and large is the ice. If there was more ice it would have been a large. Incompetent, rude and shocking customer service skills. I choose this McDonald’s over the rest in my area because of Nikki. She’s always so kind and chatty with us. Shame she wasn’t working tonight might have had happy customers leaving. 😂.

Had no complaints, youngsters in there being abusive to the employee serving tables , cleaning etc. maybe this is just how it is these days!

Tasty food was well prepared and quickly served.

Went through drive thru was asked to park up rudely they forgot the dips straws gave us the wrong drink even said at pay point the frappe was wrong and still got it wrong then when the server brought it over and i said its was wrong she argued that fact even tho i no what i ordered being disabled and having to go through the effort to get out the car go in and get the straws and dips couldnt be bothered to argue the drink with any1 else an ended up throwing it away quite dissapointing really

Getting my meal on the go from this McDonald outlet is great. Good customer service and warmth ambience for families and friends...keep it up!!!

I think that it is worth starting that they sometimes miss out items on your order at this McDonald's. Just double-check to ensure before leaving. Otherwise, it is just another McDonald's.

Inconsistent service here, never know if you need to look in your bag before you leave or to trust that the order is correct. It's not difficult to read a label, it clearly says extra pate and v cheese. My advice is to use the other McDonald's in the area, not this one.

You’d find your worst McDonald’s service at Strood with particularly the night/very early staff. Extremely rude, belligerent and uncouth staff with no cognisance of customer service. McDonald’s is better off ridding the entire crew here or giving them thorough training on customer service. It’s appalling. Paul who said he’s the shift leader could do with some customer service training. I hope McDonald’s is reading the reviews. Lodged a complaint with their head office.

Fries never seem to be hot enough. Feel rushed and if paying cash you get starred at as if an alien.

Classic McDonald's. Sometimes the milkshake machine is out of order. During peak hours there is always a park and wait. 15+ additional waiting.

Had breakfast today it was alright apart from the oil and some brown stuff in my coffee and my dad’s coffee😕 i was upset and disgusted didn’t want to drink my coffee anymore

arrived 10.30 for drive through. Waited until 11.00 to finally make my order only to be advised it was now lunchtime menu.Had to explain 3 times that I had been queueing for 30 mins to make an order and finally agreed to process my order.Took another 20 mins to collect my order by which time food was cold. No opology ,shocking service and manager was not available to speak with me. For such a big company no idea of care about customer service. There was lots of things you could do to ease the situation but from a customer point of view no effort was made. Shocking will never return

Food was 2.5 hours late, driver said was in his car over an hour! Arrived Stone cold and un edable. I handed wholeeal back to driver .Just eat refused to refund me full amount, told me £12 refund on just eat app( was not refunded) was sufficient for their cold food policy! I paid £29 for my order I did not consume . Still waiting for refund !

This place is rubbish. Don't for love of all things good do not order a delivery from here. It WILL arrive cold. Chips cold. Burger cold (not even warmish). Mc flurry melted. They seem incapable of organising themselves enough to prepare food when delivery driver is there or at least when they know they're close, but no... they would rather leave the food on the side for an hour and then send it to you stone cold and expect a smile from you. Definitely give this one a miss

Rude staff member refused to take my Scottish pounds sterlings (legal currency in UK) in your restaurant in Strood. On the question why? she answered is because she chooses to. 5 minutes down the road on the restaurant near Medway tunnel they accepted it without questions asked because it is a legal currency in UK. Teach your staff what money are accepted in the country they live in please 🥺

Quality of hot chocolate has been improved a lot. (Which was tasteless in the past)

So many orders to be delivered, my food has been just about warm on any occasions. It's McDonald's, a snack, not a meal. Ok as a treat every now and then. Staff are nice, but service is slow...

I ordered at the drive thru and was then parked up for fifteen minutes waiting for two McFlurries and a large strawberry milkshake. When the order arrived the McFlurries were half melted. I then had to sort out a straw for the milkshake as that had been forgotten. So much for fast food. After I’d driven off I discovered that one of the McFlurries was the wrong flavour and the strawberry milkshake was, in fact, chocolate. The whole experience was, frankly, lousy.

Drive through order, drove 3 minutes home to eat. Staff at service were lovely and polite. Unfortunately the food was sub par even for fast food standards. The burger was just about edible but opted to stay safe and avoid. Really gutted about the fries as they’re almost always a safe option. Never had fries like this from McDonald’s, it’s as though they’ve been sitting for a few hours and then fried again? Hard to explain but inedible. Quality checks possibly need reviewed

We had a really great time today. Paula and Chenai were super kind and helpful. They did not only keep the whole restaurant clean and tidy but they were also lovely with the children,kept them all entertained .thank you!!

Absolute shambles of a "restaurant". How do you employ staff or have a process where you can't read a receipt, put the item in a bag and tick it off!? A mistake can be made but this happens time and time again so this isn't a mistake, it's complete incompetence and it's multiple mistakes on the same order. Now a member of my family is a missing a meal, you don't answer the phones and now on hold to uber eats to bet the large amount of money I'm owed from missing and incorrect items due to the total lack of due care and attention. Maybe a review of your staff and try to find people that can follow a tick box exercise.

Lovely food. Sam was lovely and got us extra sauce when we asked and checked our food was okay.

I've had multiple experiences at McDonald's where my orders have been consistently incorrect, and it's become quite frustrating. It seems that they often forget to include items I've ordered or make mistakes with my order. This has led to a lot inconvenience and upset with my family. While I understand that fast-food restaurants can get busy, it's essential for McDonald's to improve their order accuracy to provide a better customer experience.

wouldn't eat here food was raw and the burger was pink in the middle, selling raw meat can be dangerous and you need to reconsider who is on the grill if the standard is selling uncooked burgers My girlfriend who was served this raw burger ate approximately a quarter of it before noticing, she spent half the night throwing it up Will likely not be returning for some time

Constant missing items when ordering online and they don’t even refund you for it , they come up with a load of excuses , billion dollar company and they can’t refund upset customers

Ordered food from here from uber eats and turns out the staff in there can not read. Ordered double size burgers and got single. When I ring them it's ubers problem. Pretty sure uber didn't pack the food in the bag. Then the manager put the phone down on me.

Waiting times are a joke what’s is the point of the app if I have to wait 25 mins

It's really a 2.5/3, mainly because of their fries, which are always hella soggy and undercooked with little salt. But apart from that's, it's alright. Little orders are better, but even that takes at least 10/15 mins for the number to be called out.

I ate here and I got red spots all over my body, I don't know what happened but I feel very bad and I have a high fever and I vomited, I ordered a cola with cinnamon and a Hamburger with potatoes, you can file a complaint but I'll leave it at that, all I know is that I don't dare to eat at McDonalds for the rest of my life

Placed order was told to wait in parking area waited 15 mins, when it arrived was happy meal missing girl told me it was not on my order so would have to go in shop which I couldn't as had 2 young children in their PJs. So was told I would have to sit in Q again while in Q I checked my receipt I had paid for it so she should have got it for me when checking further the bbq wrap with no salad and no mayo ( which was the reason I had to wait as special order which I expected to do) had both. So gave up as by now the rest of the food was cold by now and was not going in the long Q, a, 3rd time

Food took 40 minutes on a Wednesday Evening, manager seemed unapologetic. Others ordered food after us and received it before us with bigger orders, it made us miss the first 20 minutes of a film. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to

Have taken my kids money, they waited 45 minutes before leaving, I called them to rectify this as their friend is still there waiting, 25 minutes later no food, ringing again - no answer, phone cuts off, so have effectively stolen off my kids, thieving scum, happens enough off just eat to actively take cash out if my kids hands and stole from them.

Went there for my daughter lunch break. Ordered 2 happy meals for table service. Waited 20 mins for our food to be brought over, the guy asked if we wanted any sauces said ketchup. He never returned. Food was freezing cold. Will never return again and will make sure friends and family don't go there either.

Placed an order on the app, got it delivered to the car. Got home to find that instead of my customised ( no onion pickle or mustard) double cheese burger I was given a ham burger with only ketchup. Don't get me wrong I know people make mistakes but it litterly had a label on it to saying double cheese burger.

I placed a large order of £50,and was ask to wait in the car park waiting area,I was parked for over half hour with no food,when I complained with my horror I was forgotten,and had to wait while my order was made up,when I finally got my order 45 minutes later,the burgers where in a mess,I was offered freebies of ice cream, terrible service in all.

Popped in on Wednesday with my sister to get a lunchtime meal. The service was exceptional, the best experience we've ever had in a McDonald's. There was a great atmosphere and service was fast with no queuing at all! What made it the best by far was a customer care assistant called "kath" or "kathy" she brought our meals over, then when we was finished she took care of our rubbish etc and we had a lovely friendly chat. She was such a lovely person who clearly loved doing her job. So big thank you to her and all the strood McDonald's staff, the best McDonald's by far!!!!

McDonald's over all is a happy place and is very recommended by a foodie (me).

Nikki and the night team are great. All go above and beyond for guests. They deserve more money for the crap they put up with and McDonald’s should see that, especially with what money the company make. The night team work through all kinds of crap with no reward. Common McDonald’s recognise your staff and the great work they do.

Always tell me to park up and wait like 30mins to get my food and therefore after they give me wrong food and drinks ,also night time they need more staff in there i only see 2 people working out of 5

⏰️23.20pm....Wait at the window for almost 20 minutes for 2 cheese burgers 1 big tasty and 1 wrap..Was told to wait by the window kiosk Not to park up..... Car queue was ridiculous behind us and people started beeping...Food was cold when handed to us...Really bad I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.👎

The food was not very nice today only just warm chips and the burger and chicken mayo not nice ,,,,,, But the coffee was nice and hot.

I would like to say a very huge thank you to this lady, always goes above and beyond for the customers, couple times she has been helpful like finding me a table to cater for me and a young baby and when my fries didn't taste very nice she went and replaced them and offered any more help if needed her name is Sam and she is such a lovely lady and I hope she gets recognition she deserves for the work she does absolute pleasure to visit here too

I went to this McDonald’s on my way to work to grab something to eat before my shift start time, I placed my order at the drive though and drove round to pay…so far so good! After paying I was asked by another staff member if I could park up, after waiting in the bay for about 5-10 minutes a staff member brought my food to me, I left the bay thinking that my order was correct, however when I went to eat it I noticed that my order was wrong, I had ordered a large Double Quarter Pounder meal with a large coffee and 3 chicken selects, with a BBQ dip, I received a single Quarter Pounder and there was no dip… I’m not sure how hard it is to read an order from a screen and place those items in a bag, but it seems to be very tricky, they even had more time to get it right when they tasked me to wait in the order bay

Absolutely disgusting customer service, states to collect order on screen yet wait 10 mins further for food. Clearly showing they are trying to beat the new system in place to give false statistics that they are serving customers quicker then they actually are ! Our order was £30 worth of food and was cold and tasted awful, women who served us had appalling manners and needs some more corporate training for sure !! Managers need to step up and try to amend all these google reviews as they state this particular restaurant is below standards clearly even though thousands just been spent on a brand new refurb, what a waste of money !!!
