McDonald's in Gwynedd

Go for a meal here once a week and have always been pleased with the food and service. Food always hot/warm and never any issues with my order. Recommended!

It was horrible, Cold and hard food, Git the order wrong and when we asked for them to redo them, the food was still horrible. bad customer service, They ignore you and dont offer any help at all.

I made an order online to pick up and when i got there the service was fast only had to wait about 5 minutes for my order to be completed. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

Went through the drive-through, although the staff member was very polite. When collecting my order half of it was missing. I won't be returning.

Went to Caernarfon McDonald's to pick up our order to take back with us. Food and service great 😃

McDonald's is jst fast food made slowly

Just ordered at the drive through Big Mac no cheese. So what do I get, yes you guessed it Big Mac with cheese. Chips were cold also, not impressed they weren’t busy.

No real issues just gave 4 stars as thought it could be a bit cleaner but was busy and only 1 cleaner so I do understand. Just had to sit at a dirty table.

I wooden recommend this restaurant very filthy and the chips were cold hot drink wasn't filled correct

We were there on a Monday evening, not many people, the ordering machine wasn't working properly, credit card payment wasn't possible, the printer in the machine was broken, a long waiting time (at least 10 minutes), the numerous team in the kitchen made a chaotic impression, uncoordinated, service at the counter anyway very hard, the restaurant itself was dirty and anything but inviting, as were the sanitary facilities: extremely dirty (disabled toilet) and unusable (women's toilet) I've never seen such an unkempt and dirty McDonald's - sorry, that's not possible

Asked for plain chicken sandwich and they gave me one with salad and mayonnaise either hard of hearing or don't understand what plain means pissed off spoiled my tea

Actually one of the nicest McDonald's I have ever seen. I am based in Liverpool so popped for a snack on a camping trip. Fries where actually fresh an burgers built properly. Definitely worth a pop by!

Firstly, I am currently 15 miles away from mcdonalds. 40 minutes ago I called and asked it milkshakes were available, I was told yes. I then drove the 15 miles to the store to be told no, they aren't available. Assembly because nobody has cleaned the machine. So in turn I wasted 30 miles of fuel for a lie.

Very Busy at 2pm, most items were unavailable, managed to get a double Big Mac with bacon but normal double Big Mac was unavailable which baffles me, food was okay though and didn't see much of the service

Why do McDonald's have such bizarre one way systems in their car parks? Don't mix the traffic trying to leave the site with the drive thru traffic or you get gridlock

The burger was dry and the chips where cold the table was so dirty it needs to be more kid friendly this McDonald’s is definitely not the best

Waited 25 minutes on the car park for a drive through breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful and food served quickly despite the venue being exceedingly busy (around 5pm). Carpark very congested with cars trying to exit becoming entangled with cars queuing for the drive-through.

Breakfast here most mornings but hot chocolate machine broke gutted otherwise 5 star

Good service for such a busy place. Small carpark and long queues for drive-through at busy times. Kids love it there. Great for occassional treat.

Two of our burgers were wrong and one looked like it had been thrown across the room before it was wrapped. The chips weren't salted, were almost cold and some were undercooked. The nuggets were nice.

I tried to pay for my meal with a voucher but was given about 15 different and contradictory reasons why it couldn't be accepted. At other Mcdonald's stores, you order a meal, they scan the voucher and off you go. Evidently Caernarfon like to do things differently and you can expect better customer service in a police custody suite.

Food is great depending on the time you go it tends to be stone cold if you go after 8.30 pm. Staff are friendly. Parking is awful you need a bigger car park

Called in for the ickle man's Happy meal chicken nuggets and chips and an ice cream.

The size of the coffee I got was a joke. I miss when they use to actually fill up your coffee like you have paid for?

Not nice. Burgers were packed with grease, chips weren't fresh. Can't normally go wrong with a Mcd's but wouldn't go here again.

Manager very rude and an attitude. Don't give the right order when I asked for a fanta zero as I'm diabetic and got a normal one. No apology just said syrup comes out of the machine. When clearly It shouldn't be in the same one as the zero.

Food was terrible, snotty egg, gristly gammon and battered fish with hardly any fish! It is usually average food, but it's was dismal this time!

Food was quite quick through the drive through for an edited order, servers were polite, can't fault them

The low score is mainly for the service, ordered four meals, when arrived home one of the burger was missing. Tried several times to contact by telephone with no answer, in the end had to drive back there to request for a missed burger that was allready paid for.

I’m putting a complaint in because I was sitting down with my friends just came home from the fair starving havent ate all day and they kicked us out when all of us was clearly eating she was saying half of us wasn’t eating but if you saw on out table everyone had food I’m very angry cause the manger witch was a women kicked us out.I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in my life everyone was staring and I couldn’t eat my food cause she was screaming at us to get out when we were eating I’m very angry and not coming again.! If there would be a ZERO it would be just that. Placed an order, drove home, parts missing. Asked what sauces and got none. Manager is useless. Counter staff are worse.

When everywhere was shut on Easter Sunday this was thankfully open as the children were tired and hungry after the morning's activities. Eating familiar food put smiles on their faces.

It's what you expect from a McDonalds. If your kids like it, it'll do the job.

We visited this branch yesterday and the customer service by one individual was superb. Jerry who works at this branch, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed whilst visiting. Jerry is definitely a credit to McDonald’s.I always think it’s important that reviews work both ways as if I’m going to be critical of anywhere, I always think you have to show praise, too.

Food was cooked very freshly. Went late on a Friday night, so car park was quite busy, but sufficient parking spaces. They tend to close half of the seating area for cleaning after 8PM.

Worst Mcdonald's I've had in my life. Went with my boss after work. We got 3 caesar and bacon wraps between us. The chicken was so dry it must've been cooked over silica gel. To make it worse all 3 wraps had ZERO sauce in them, as if whoever made the chicken so dry has no shame to even attempt to revive a dry meal with some moisture. I had to check the menu to make sure I wasn't confused and they actually are supposed to have sauce. The person making the burgers must've misplaced their makeshift burger bun frisbee and used it for my hamburger instead. Even more disappointing was how little onion was in it. Maybe it got scared of the onion rain coming down, popped open it's umbrella and deflected it into my bosses wrap. The only thing done right was the fries, but it's no use having them well salted when the chicken is sapping moisture from you. Beyond me how this place is rated 3.9.

Abysmal. In the last few years, McDonald's prices across the board have risen by between 25% and 75%. You'd expect that would at least coincide with SOME kind of improvement to offset costs that are massively overtaking inflation rates. It doesn't. The convenience of McDonald's is all but gone - taking sometimes as long as 25 minutes to get your order. Service quality is all but gone, which is excusable, given the stagnant wages and high stress work environments. Somehow, the actual quality of McDonald's food seems to have dropped as well. I say that as someone with an unusually high tolerance for rubbery, dry burgers. But to top it all off, this particular McDonald's restaurant is a nightmare unparalleled. We placed an order for the drive thru which would have cost less than 20 pounds in years past, being over 30 pounds now. We received it after being told to wait in the car park for around twenty minutes. The fries were already lukewarm and soggy, (standard McDonald's fare, easily excusable) and when we made it home, nearly EVERY SINGLE item was missing key components or incorrectly customised, spoiling the whole thing. After several back and forth with various customer service providers, the manager simply said they can't offer a refund because we didn't make the 8 mile drive to take everything back to the 'restaurant', despite half of it being in the bin. Utterly ridiculous.

Ordered a mango pinapple smoothie and it came half filled. For £2.99 I expect it to be full, I complained and they told me 'we only fill it to this point'. What is the point giving me a medium cup if there only going to fill a small.

I ordered through the app, but my family picked up the order. They gave them the big bag. Home we realised all the drinks were missing, no ketchups, no dips, no straws, etc. I phoned the restaurant for advice as we were home already, I was advised I will get a refund no need to pop in. I phoned next day as well, manager Bev answered the phone, no apologies at all, she was rude, humiliating. She was making fun of me about the missing ketchups!!! In the end she said" you can complain wherever you want, I don't have time for this, I am busy". Is not the first time items are missing from the order, fries are cold, sometimes no salt at all sometimes unedible. No apologies at all, they treat you like sh...

Between this one and Bangor, I always choose this one, as the staff are friendly and you don't feel rushed. Don't get me wrong - most staff at Bangor are great, but I always feel like I'm being rushed through there, whereas in Caernarfon, I feel that the staff care about their customers more. Hardly ever had any issues, but if we have (missing food etc) then it's always been sorted efficiently and effectively. Used this place for years and will continue to do so🙂 Using the app, it's even more efficient as there's less room for error.

Fuming. Twice in two weeks I've been and both times food was missing. A big cheese tast with bacon. And the bloody cheese was missing one occasion and the bacon was the other occasion. Everything was cold too. Its a nice surprise when your order is correct because almost everytime I go mine is not. Shame we haven't got a burger king or KFC in caernarfon so I could go there. Sick of being disappointed with my order and its not cheap which makes it worse.

Really disappointed with staff here. Always begin to take your order in english. We are a Welsh town. I understand this from English staff but the Welsh ones even do it. And the least the english ones could say is Diolch at the end. The Welsh ones even insist to continue the conversation in english. The Welsh language should be the first language used then divert to english for non Welsh speakers. The english ones should be able to say diolch.

Airfurys are amazing dryers. The hand dryers here get 10/10 from me.

Tight on the ketchup, only 2 provided, every meal with chips should have a ketchup included. When asked for more, was told I needed to buy it after already spending over £20.

After ordering through the app I was parked up for over 15 mins to find both mine and the Mrs food was made wrong. How people can't follow instructions in black and white is beyond me. The food if you can call it that was thrown together and came out to us wrong and cold. Got to be the worst mcdonalds I've been to ever! An I go regularly for toffee lattes. Which we ordered on this occasion an they even got them wrong n was barely warm.

Just called in for breakfast with my family we used the drive through and what a happy pleasant team they have polite happy and professional food was hot and fresh something I can honestly say I haven't experienced in a long time for maccys welldone caernarfon 👏 we are now happy and full for are journey home

Great little mcdonalds. Small ish parking area. Has drive thru and spaces for the mcdonalds app (didn't see them until we was in drive thru) food was warm and delivered quick. Visited twice and both times we was happy.

Local teenagers sprayed people with water, and the only thing they were told off for was having their feet on the table. They had finished eating when we turned up. They should have been told to leave long before. They were taking up two tables and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Please remove your 24hr sign. I was refused service at 10:50pm while travelling back from North Wales with family. Extremely disappointed. Do not recommend at all.

Can't believe I have just walked into McDonald's caernarfon to witness the manager (blonde haired lady, big lady) stood at the food counter picking dirt out of her nails with a fork. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a manager who should be setting examples to other members of staff...she should definitely NOT be working with food!!

Just about the best UK MacDonalds I've ever been to. Food was served quickly, hot and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and bright. Had a chat with the server/attendant, a guy called Jerry, top bloke.

Food is good but the girl serving the food was rude, and grumpy. No smiles on the faces here unfortunately.

The food here is usually poor, it's put me off McDonald's generally. Blonde undercooked chips, soggy, cold stale veggie dippers, awful. Today I was in a rush and succumbed to lunch, fantastic - crispy slightly browned fries, hot crispy dippers, at last- have you had your friers calibrated!

We sat in and it was clean. I enjoyed the food and managed to get the hang of the order system.

Ill be honest. Its Mcdonalds. Its nothing like it used to be. Food was great and enjoyable. Service is incredibly slow. We used the drive through which isnt the best, and its worse when its busy. Staff are 90%of the time polite and cheerful, the other 10% of the time they look like they dont want to be there. Would use another site, but dont really want to driver another 6 or 7 miles to bangor. Next one is Aberystwyth.....
