McDonald's in Reading

When we go in the morning and Mimosa is there serving us, she is always smiling and so nice! Always great to see her when we go - 5 star service from her she’s the best. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had two Big Mac meals a cheeseburger a double cheeseburger and apple pie and every single bit of food was completely cold when it was delivered to us it was disgusting then we was insulted by being given just £5.96 back to us there was some other bits and total was £25.96

Ordered a cheeseburger and 2 maltesers mcflurries. Service was mediocre. Cheeseburger was extremely dry. Mcflurries were nice.

Awful service. Used drive through. Only ordered nuggets meal, nuggets happy meal and 2 mcflurries. Handed ice creams then told to wait in car park. Handed back ice creams as they would melt while we waited. Waited 10 mins then went into store where we had been forgotten Food cold, ice cream melted and short a drink.

Hi my name is max I went today with my friends McDonald’s forbury park they took so longs and also saw they behaviour one of the staff name Katrina she always do the evening shift she is so so rude and just chatting and wasting so much time and saw her she is talking so badly spacially with the delivery drivers she is rude with them not even responds them when they ask for their delivery I don’t think she like the on their but she is terrible and so bad taking Regard max Clark

Customer service 5 star. On a Bank Holiday, a very busy location. We haven’t visited this site in over 5 years, what fantastic service from the “floor “ supervisor. The “Oriental “ lady went out of her way to look after my family especially as my wife is on crutches. We also have to praise her for her great attitude towards anyone she felt needed assistance. I have never seen such kindness/ service from anyone in a McDonalds ever before. She must be congratulated.

We do use the drivethru here quite a bit, the food's as you would expect but about 30% of the time we get a wrong order - usually something missing. It's not worth driving back but it's so so so frustrating to get home and find that item(s) missing. No one answer's the phone if you call to alert them to the situation - so Mcdonald's main website is basically sending you down a blind alley when it says to contact th elocal branch to complain. Just take you time and chack that order at the window - it seems every time I start to trust them again....they withhold food on me!

McDonalds Forbury Park is by far the best McDonald’s on the planet. This is my third occasion writing about them and they just get better and better. Love the selection of food on offer which is cooked to perfection. Particular favourites are the porridge and grilled chicken salad. The buzz in here is also great. Full of lovely people from all over Reading. Everybody comes here and it’s just one of those must visit places in the lovely town. Always clean. Good parking. Excellent drive through which supported the community through the lock down. Most of note is the exceptional staff. They are truly are outstanding to a person. Each of them is special and goes out of their way to make your day. Thank you McDonald’s Forbury Park for making people so happy.

Useless, long waits and still can’t get the order correct (missing items & underfilled drinks) won’t use again

McDonalds is the same world over. The actual food never looks like the promotional shots but you always know what you are going to get so it's really just comfort food. After two and a half years of on and off COVID 19 pandemic lockdowns, my husband has really missed going to McDonalds and so I decided to take him to our local restaurant for our 32nd wedding anniversary dinner. After working out how to order through the touch screen thingy - there is no longer a counter at which to queue and place your order - we chose the "table service" option, placed our order and chose our seating. I had come prepared with paper plates, an electric tea light and even a rose in a vase to make the meal extra special. Our waitress was a little surprised but was very charming when we explained it was our anniversary dinner. Five minutes later the restaurant manager appeared at our table and asked us if everything was ok and even offered to warm up our fries. He then asked to take our photo and wished us a very happy anniversary. Ten minutes later the manager returned and gave us a free chocolate brownie. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal especially as it only cost us £15 which is less then we would have spent on a bottle of wine if we had gone to a "proper" restaurant and may well come back for our 33rd wedding anniversary dinner.

A double quarter pounder has two burgers in it not one. Clearly this was beyond the counting ability and comprehension of the staff here today! Sadly only found this when got home and too late/cold to walk back round! You guys really need to work on your quality control!

While I was waiting for my order it was a joke in so many ways. They had mixed two orders by giving half of one and then the other was someone else’s and I had to check the order. The latte I ordered was disgusting . Expect the worse anything you can eat and drink without throwing up is a bonus.

I was left extremely disappointed when I went to get my breakfast this morning. Asked for my meal and the lady said " we don't have hash browns do you want chips" im sorry what?? the whole point of a bloody mcdonalds breakfast is for the hash browns !! Why on earth would i want soggy chips with my breakfast.🤮🤮 This store is always running out of stock, the foods not that great and the service is slow. I wish I had driven a little further and stuck with my usual store as they are much better, they are quick, the food is hot,it tastes so much better and they always have full stock.

my daughters 14th birthday,went to the drive-thru and was told no cheeseburgers/no big tasties,so had to go some where else,try explaining that to a 14yr old,

3 times on the trot now theres been stuff missing in the bag , won’t be going there again, will make the trip to Oxford road

He escrito anteriormente sobre este McDonald's, pero es realmente excelente y merece otro artículo. El personal es increíble y siempre está limpio. Puedes sentarte aquí y relajarte o hacer lo que necesites. El gerente es excepcional. Gracias a todo el equipo.

Service was good and prompt. Location is a bit dated unlike more modern ones in Woburn and Burlington. Needs an update.

No ice creams or milkshakes again. They were pretty rude about it too. Kids were really annoyed. Had to drive across town

Este es el McDonald's para venir. Sirven tu comida y te cuidan totalmente. Puedes trabajar aquí, relajarte aquí y solo ver pasar el mundo. Todo el personal es excelente y dirigido por un excelente gerente. El menú es variado y, en particular, el helado es bueno. Altamente recomendado.

Me gustan los avisos de salud en el empaque como el conteo de calorías, etc., así como la servilleta dentro de la caja del sándwich. Todo fue excelente, excepto que las papas fritas les habrían ordenado más crujientes y perdidas empapadas. Me encanta el etiquetado de cada sándwich y diferenciación. Muy organizado. Requested a burger Signature BBQ meal and couldn't find the bacon inside. Complained to one of staff and she answered me that tha bacon is inside. Actually is but... See picture...

i mean what can i say? we know the menu we still come back so it is the little things that separate one franchise from another i guess. the staff here are particularly nice and happy to accommodate customization of the burgers (no pickles etc.)

As expected. Large Big Mac meal and Fanta. Really tasty as burgers always are. Premises were clean. Happy with my mc Donald’s experience.

Fui aquí por la hamburguesa más grande que tenían porque estaba hambriento, que resultó ser el Big Tasty With Bacon. El personal fue muy amable y conocedor de los productos. McMuffin was not the best, but the guy serving had the worst BO ever! Made me feel ill. Someone who works there should say! It’s a food place not a building site!

Fui a este Mcdonald's el 24/04/18. Fuimos a pasar por orden. Después de 20 minutos de espera, llegó a la ventana para ordenar. Pero el personal (Angela) en la ventana dijo que tienes que hacer un pedido en algún lugar detrás a través de micrphone u otra cosa, no estaba familiarizado con este restaurante. Entonces no lo sabía. This McDonalds is what you would expect from most fast food restaurants. Tasty cheap food that's ready in minutes. Great.

I visited on a very busy Saturday lunchtime with my son and two grandsons aged 5 and 2. There were no tables free but one particular member of staff - a slightly older lady,went out of her way to make sure we had a table. She also made sure it was clean for us. I noticed that while we were in there the staff were constantly sweeping the floor and tidying up. The staff behind the counter were very friendly too. I was very impressed.

Sausage bacon and egg McMuffin, or the wrap of the day- ideal when your short of time and want a guilty treat. Once a couple months or so is enough.

From the doors to the meal I had "wonderful" experience. MC Donald's for me was never a option for a good meal . Well today I've tried it. I'll never do it again . A simple order like double cheeseburger and Coke was transformed into...

They say first impressions count....ladies toilets dirty. We only nipped in for a cup of tea. Having ordered our tea - not sure this McDonalds is now typical but you order your food / drinks etc, and then wait for your "number to be called"...

We used the self service machines to order a chicken legend meal and a wrap meal. We waited for our number to come up for collection on screen. It did, then it went and we waited... and waited... watching the wrap be served to another...

This review is for the McDonald's at Calcot, which doesn't have a TripAdvisor site at present. I had a quarter pounder, which tasted of damp cardboard, and little else. The chicken nuggets were dry. The whole experience was something I do not wish to repeat....

Hoy nos pidieron que aparcar por 15 minutos para esperar 4 comidas, que eran estándar en el menú de ministerio. . . . Comida rápida equivocado. . . . Deliciosa comida y bebida muy agradable ver McDonald's y repito me encanta la forma en que los trabajadores DE MCDONALD'S que la comida y las bebidas. 👏 💪

Lo personal encantador. Me detuve para desayunar y pedí un café y una de avena. Me informaron con una disculpa alegre que mi avena sería un tiempo y alguien lo subirían más. La avena fue entregada poco después con una disculpa por la chica con una sonrisa que iluminó mi día. Este es McDonald's por amor de Dios y me voy a comprar un servicio de cinco estrellas! Bien hecho y gracias a ellos dos señoras encantadoras. Ah, y la avena también era delicioso!

Conveniente para aparcar y te ahorras ir al centro de la ciudad. Siempre ocupado y a veces un poco de espera pero sabes lo que estás haciendo y siempre es bueno. Mi nietas encanta, ordenadores en la mesa para ellos para jugar. También hay características adulto pero me temo que no te dan un aspecto en contra de los niños!!

On the ring road. Head for Reading Goal and it is just opposite. Does not get much Warden custom these days but Macs has refurbished a tired restaurant. A bit crowded, for seating but the drive thru is efficient, and it is corporately aesthetic and adequate for a burger sandwich and coffee

I've used the drive-thru several times over the last year. No complaints - all dished up promptly and hot and as-expected of a McD's....which is why I've been there several times now!

I once visited a friends son in Reading Gaol. At the time it was a young offenders centre. He told me that the worst thing about prison was that he could see McDonalds out of his cell window and he couldn't get too it. Perhaps all prisons need a McDonalds nearby. It might stop reoffending. Set in a retail park, it is great for a quick burger and coffee when you have had enough of the furniture stores

The food is ....well the same s all other Mc Donalds. The toilets probably smell as bad as any of the others. The coffee is the same. Its a Mc Donalds! Nice staff though ;-)

Ate here after shopping in reading town. There is a drive thru which is very convenient if you just want buy and go. Service is reasonable, and they got the order right.

Went there after picking three up from the reading festival. All credit to the management team for having enough staff on a bank holiday for the potential rush after the reading three day concert!The food was standard McD fare although my cappuccino was only mildlyly lukewarm!It's no different to normal fare, but was well organised!

Staff got my order wrong because of there lack of english language then tried to blame it on me! (customer always right) not in this case they were so rude and looked at me like they wanted me to leave! the next time i came and ordered a deli wrap and there was hardly any chicken in compared to other mcdonalds ive been too, this is by far the worst! its the night time staff who are rude, no offence to the day staff.

Not enough sauce on the sundae and warm chips on 2 occasions service is also slow for a mcdsCould do better, "management" were not helping no surprise there!

Been here for both drive-thru and eat in over a couple of days and it was good service on both occasions. Food is standard McDonalds so to be expected and not over-estimated. Plenty of parking too.

McDonald is alright serice not that good but good is okay. I am not a great fan but I still like the food

But this one seems to be better than the usual McDonald's bull crap, for some weird reason. The staff seem better and not just annoyed/annoying and pretty good food. It's like eating God's poop. It tastes good, but it shouldn't really be eaten. Oh well, it's good for fast food.In a word: Rush.

Just the worst food ever. Chip fat hasn't been changed in weeks, burgers in the bin sat there all afternoon, same with the nuggets, terrible service from moody teen girls.

Although it's the usual Maccy D's fayre, the food at this restaurant always seems put together with that bit more care. The staff are always cheerful and polite, which really does make a refreshing change for a convenience food restaurant.Drive-thru and sit down available.
