McDonald's in Herefordshire, County of

Absolutely awful food, this is one of the worse McDonald’s! Cold soggy fries and mushy nuggets, missing food and no one bothers to answer or no easy way to contact customer service. This place is truly awful

Ordered a couple of mcplant meals. As usual - asked to wait in a bay. Waited for around 20 minutes. Crew member who came out was pleasant. Realised when left that only 1 of the 2 mozzarella bites paid for were there!! Not the end of the world but annoying considering all the time they had to prepare the order.

Visited on 7/4/2024 during lunch period, it was fairly busy, I hate the large stools, I need a proper seat with a back rest, so we were limited to what table we sat at, most unoccupied tables looked like they needed a clean, as ours did. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, which were horrid, they were solid, rubbery and tasteless, we didn’t eat all of them. The tomato ketchup was watered down, it was very thin and tasted horrid, was glad I didn’t pour the little tub over my fries before trying it, In other McDonald’s, the tables are regularly cleaned, it didn’t happen whilst we were eating, think we will give this place a miss for a very long time, just put off by unclean tables, horrid tomato ketchup and not nice tasting food. Used to enjoy eating at McDonald’s, but it’s gone downhill.

Shocking, beyond belief! Hereford Council have a lot to answer for! Visited on March 5, 2024, to witness the vilest creatures on Earth spewing up sick all over the premises (the front windows), drunk & high on drugs! My grandchildren & I beat a fast retreat! Looking through the window, I could see a mass of debris on the floor & dirty tables! We hotfooted it to Mac's on Belmont Road. What a contrast!! Extremely clean premises, very smart uniformed staff & prompt, efficient service!

awful,services. the afro Carribbean guy he's more attentive, and serving , he's intuitive, tries his best..the same cannot be said about the rest of the staff, .slow service no. diligence,lacking the pace,for a well known fast food food outlet! what a waste of money! , your paying for incompetence not a meal., theres no diligence.?? its not fast paced, quite the opposite,a polar opposite., awfully situated also its on a back burner. ghosted,! and off the main township!, a staff member the manager) often eye balling customers wearing dark, and in heavy eye make up perhaps not very professional look esp for work..,?! as we'a few other customers, complained, about the dilligance..no apologies were made by the management, for any reassurance! asin customer satisfaction.instead we were rudely eyeballed. us'the customers, and often we are treated badly in this branch. ., no etiquettes, staff are lacking empathy.no customer service in this store, 95% of..poor working ethics.and for a manager, to not make customers feel free, in having opinions, in relation to how poor the service is this branch. in actual fact, it could be deemed a major breach, in trading standards.. customer service is a pivotal role.a McDonald's (drive thru) wud be better , perhaps.and in future.

Cold dry chips, ordered a large meal deal, got a medium drink, no cream either which I ordered. Very greasy pattie. Weird feeling napkins.

I popped in to buy a chocolate milkshake on my way home and it was just awful. I was half way home when I started drinking it so I at the time didn't think it was worth going back to complain. The milkshake was so watery and the taste was foul. Usually I only go there because I like their shakes so I was surprised that it was so disgusting it had a terrible sour and bitter taste. I had a few just a few sips, tried giving it a stir and another sip then had to throw it away because it just wasn't drinkable. Half an hour later I felt so sick and had an awful pain in my stomach. I hadn't eaten anything else that morning so it couldn't have been anything else. I got home and was sick straight away. I have spent today at home feeling awful I have been sick and had diorhea unable to eat anything. Just appalling that they would hand something that clearly didn't look up to standard to a customer. I have contacted McDonald's to complain and I will be going in to speak to their manager when I feel better. Clearly there was something wrong with the refrigeration and temperatures obviously hadn't been checked. Terrible health and safety.

Popped in to grab a takeaway for the family as we hadn’t been in awhile and was really shocked at what we walked into. Never a complaint about the food but the way Sam the on shift manager was talking to his kitchen staff was appalling. Especially in front of the customers! He and a woman waiting for her order were both ganged up on a member of the kitchen staff as he had made a mistake with the food. Not how you should treat your staff and never acceptable. Very uncomfortable atmosphere to wait in and glad we weren’t sat in there to eat!

My grown up daughter and I making the most of a voucher offer and the eat out to help out scheme. We were greeted immediately by the manager who then kindly offered to input our order as we weren't sure how to apply our voucher. We were then told to go upstairs and our food would be brought to our table. After a few minutes the food arrived. Food was great but no ketchup. This was dealt with swiftly by a young lad. It felt clean and very safe. McDonald's unlike some restaurants I've visited recently are taking this Covid-19 situation seriously. Well done.

What a shame that an evening treat is spoilt by youngsters playing in and out of the building. Not purchasing anything! Asked to move by the manager, but back 10 mins later, the cleaner ignoring them all being part of them continually running the place! Come on mcdonalds get a sign up saying no purchase no seat!

In for lunch on a Friday. Very busy, especially with college students (well mannered).Friendly and efficient service (I didn't use the automated system).My meal was there within 3 minutes, which was very quick considering how busy it was. My food was well prepared and crisp. Most enjoyable.Surroundings were clean/tidy. The cleaning staff were exceptional with their effort and speed. Top marks.

Place untidy, toilets filthy. Felt unwell after having eaten there! Won’t be back! Such a shame as I used to go there when I was a student. Gone downhill ! :(

Macdonalds food .... nuff said! If you've never tried it and you want good value fast food this's your chance!

I popped in for lunch. Good, efficient, professional reception and orders taken by the staff. Didn't have to wait long for my order to appear. Went upstairs to enjoy my meal in peace. Surroundings were clean and tidy. I had a good visit.

McDonalds restaurants are always a good place to go for a nice burger & fries & this place is no exception. They are always busy which is a good sign & all their food is reasonably priced.

Great standards of food and facilities. Breakfast menu was particularly fresh, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

I eat in this restaurant often when I'm in town, as I don't want to walk up to KFC. The staff are perfectly nice, very helpful people; however sometimes there a few staff who just give me the feeling that they hate me with every fibre of their being, I don't know if it's just me haha. Also, often when I have popped in for lunch with my mates and we order our usual -medium nugget meal, cheeseburger and medium fries and we share a bottle of water because we're cheap haha- and people who have ordered after me who have ordered way more food get served first, and even when there isn't a huge queue, sometimes I'm waiting for twenty minutes while the person who ordered sixteen big mac meals after me gets served first!Another thing, the women's toilets -I can't speak for the men's- are usually rather dirty, with menstrual blood on the floor at least three times, and feces on the toilet seat once or twice, although the hand driers are nice, the hand soap smells lovely and the water from the taps is nice and hot.I like this restaurant, but I prefer the one at Belmont.

I've been eating at McDonald's for long enough to know what to expect but I was surprised and disappointed when my burger was cold, the fries were only warmish and the drink (Coke) was flat. No ice, and flat. I filled out the online survey that comes with the receipt, saying just that. The response was "I just wanted to let you know this survey allows us to immediately take customer feedback on board, so we can make changes and improve the service we provide to our customers. We’re therefore very confident you will notice a change the next time you choose to visit us.Thanks again for taking the time to contact McDonald’s Customer Services. If we can be of any assistance in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us back."No offer of a refund or even a voucher - which doesn't particularly worry me - but I was insulted at the assertion that the branch would leap into action and make changes I would immediately notice - such great changes that they were 'very confident' I'd be able to tell the difference. Rubbish. An honest response would be something but clearly they don't give a damn about their customers and treat them condescendingly. I contacted them back. Big surprise, they didn't bother responding.

I have visited this McDonald's numerous times and the food is always luke warm, never hot. The staff are always friendly and are busy as this is one of the busiest branches I have been in.

Was feeling nostalgic and popped in here on impulse for a strawberry milkshake. To be honest, it wasn't a great experience. A "dead-behind-the-eyes" young server. A slouching, idly chatting manager. And toilets that had absolutely no right to be in such an awful state at 10am in the morning. Not really "loving it", I'm afraid!

We visited on a sunny July late afternoon for an ice cream. Busy, clean and tidy throughout (inc. the toilets, just the hand dryer didn't work). Staff were efficient and helpful. World Cup football being shown on the Tv monitors. Lots of youths hanging about outside the front door, which wasn't a problem as they were all behaving themselves. They just require to put their litter in the bins.

Hereford. ...shine you new refit couples of weeks ago.....it's 10.30 in the morning. ..should be clean huh. Floors filthy. Walls dirty. You have to use your hand to push the rubbish down if you want to use a bin...all the time at good number of staff stood around chatting...not sure how hereford council have given a hygiene certificate but from what I saw....before it goes busy. DIRTY

Good maccy D clean and good food and at 7pm very quiet. Service was ok. And mine was freshly cooked to order and delivered on a tray to my table. All for £1.99 what more could you ask for after a day of shopping.

Food stone cold even after waiting for it to be cooked FRESH! Im sure they reheat it out the back! So crap...wish I got a kebab....it least I see it being cooked!

This is such a weird McDonalds. Things happen in here that I’ve never seen anywhere else.

I popped in for a quick lunch on a Monday afternoon. New staff and management since the last time I visited it seemed. All very clean and tidy (inside the establishment and outside by the main door). Customers all behaving themselves (several larger groups of students).

Took my grandaughter out for a meal tonight it was disgusting . I will not be going there again look as if they hadn't cleaned the floor all week. Tables and chairs hadn't been wiped doors wide open kids stood in doorway smoking to frightened to use the toilets

Loved it cheep and cheerful will be going a gain happy with my food and drink grate for families much fun

Was in town and needed a quick bite, food was fine but the atmosphere was terrible. There was a group of smokers outside which caused the restaurant to feel like a smoke room. The staff were making fun of customers and took forever to get food.

Visited for a bite to eat staff quite rude it was obvious they were talking about different customers in a derogatory manner the food was OK had better to be honest had to wait over 15 min pretty sure diliberate but unable to prove they...

Pedimos dos desayunos grandes con té y café precioso como siempre todo muy agradable personal limpio y ordenado.

We visited quite early for lunch there wasn't many people but queues were really big. They were taking orders but making everybody wait for food. There seemed to be confusion with whose food was whose. The food was nice and hot though.

Quick and friendly service! Lovely macdonalds food as always cooked to order so hot and tasty! Had a kids chicken wrap and chip meal and a gorgeous thick shake to fill a gap

Breakfast is OK first thing. But of an evening is quite unpleasant because of it being a hangout for unruly teenagers. Food is typical McD fayre, unfortunately spoilt by disruptive elements.

Unlike the one near Belmont, this McD's has always (and I mean since it opened decades ago), always had terribly slow and uncaring service. Warm salad, cold-fries and always a wait for your main burger to be cooked. It's supposed to be fast, not good. If you have to wait the offering is worse than terrible for value, quality and service. A continual, consistent shambles.

fast food, just how we like it. Our favourite McDonalds is Belmont, but the one in the main town is just as good albeit very busy and sometimes hard to find a table

Sometimes when a staff member is taking my order they make very little eye contact and rarely break out a smile but as it is McDonald's as long as they get my orders right and the place is clean when I want to sit in I will keep returning.

Good easy takeaway food quick service and hygienic. Loos are a bit grubby but you get what you pay for

Usual Macdonalds but this one does get crowded as the upstairs is rarely open.Staff are courteous which is a lot to say for.

Mcdonalds in Hereford centre is on of the dirtiest McDonalds I have every been in, staff are useless.

Food is good and normal for maccys BUT...service is terrible ... I thought fast food was uh errr... FAST? If it's a tag busy expect a wait - they can't plan or cope gor this. Also, staff training must be crap because the number of times I've been waiting whilst staff finish off their chat or sorst continue when serving me merely stopping to ask shat I want...and then they give you food without eye contact or smile because they are too busy chatting- where is basic service gone? Errrrrr!!!!

To many chavs, only been there 3 times, preffer KFC any day. Dont recomend it

It's extremely rare I go to Maccy Ds. If I do its because I'm starving. The Hereford Branch has OK food- for the type it serves. But the service time is pretty rubbish at busy periods.
