McDonald's in Wirral

This place rock retail park McDonald’s do not go here it’s just vile uncooked food! Freezing cold uncooked everything people in here need training on how to actually cook food ! Absolutely vile !!!!!!!!! Think I’d rather starve then have to get food from here Again

Wow! Just wow!!!! Ordered food, 2hrs later turned up fridge cold! I’d watched the driver detour around my area for 45 minutes. Call Rock Ferry McDonalds and was told that they had no control over deliveries and to call a separate number. Number called, long story short, one of the staff requested a ‘special’ delivery as the customer had input an incorrect address so I had to watch my food complete a tour of the Wirral peninsula for 45 minutes. Food arrived, went in the bin as beyond reheating at nearly midnight. Called store again and got the same speil!!! Not happy with the response I got from the manager, I was told that she wouldn’t help me if didn't allow her to help me, whatever that meant, she then proceeded to give me the same excuse she had previously given me! As I was explaining that she had just 10 minutes ago given me the same excuse, asked to her help me with this order, she put the phone down! Tried ringing back several times and just rang through to voicemail. Staff are so unpleasant, unprofessional and just plain rude. Terrible service.

None of the self serve machine had paper. So no printouts. No one knew what their order was. Even after 25 mins of people having to ask, no one replaced paper in any machine. Chaotic.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too, waited 45 minutes in the order bay for one Mc crispy meal last week and got attitude off the “girl” at the end window because I didn’t want to park up again! McDonald’s want to send their staff on a course for dealing with the public because they obviously haven’t been raised with manners or common sense! Both female managers in both situations were the only staff with any idea! I wouldn’t want to work there on footballers wages!

We ordered through the McDonald's app, around 12:15pm our order came too around £25 ! They have their deleveries sent using Uber eats . When our order arrived it was stone cold and few items missing from our order.My partner told the driver who still left us with a cold meal ,so my partner went down to McDonald's Rockferry retail park to in form the staff about the meal. They had a disgusting attitude on them including the manager clearly blaming the Uber drivers when it is the staff in McDonald's who are to blame as they pack the food items . They refused to give us a refund ,or even change our meal which is bad customer service in my eyes . Will not be returning here absolutely disgusting attitudes ,think staff need training ,on how to speak to customers, maybe if they payed more attention to what they are doing than having little chit chats amongst each other they would get orders right .

Slow 🐌 and messed up order will not be going back. Poor customer service too. Waited over 15 mins for my so called fast food then had to sit in queue again for messed up order.

Food took ages to be done. And when it finally got here. It was missing most of the order. Which we paid for. And when we tried to get at least the cash back for what we didn’t get they told us we never ordered.

Absolutely fuming order a £80 order for my daughters birthday party when it came there was only 2 happy meals without drinks and 1 with out chips so then when I phoned and spoke to the so called "manager" she was so snotty literally a walking attitude I was told they wasn't aloud to send the driver back so I suggested I go down to pick it up I was told no I wasn't aloud to enter and had to go through just eat . No help at all completely ruined my daughters birthday The person that thought it was exeptible to send the oder out knowing quite well should be sacked along with the so called "manager" I will never be going to mcdonalds food chain at all ever again never mind this one avoid at all cost I would give -1000 but it would only accept 1 at least

Ordered through Just Eat. Turned up with drinks but no food. Just eat driver was very apologetic. Called the restaurant and spoke to Chloe, the manager, apparently, who was rude, unhelpful and patronising. Very poor customer service considering we’d already paid and received only the drinks on the order! Rubbish customer service!

Worst McDonald’s with the most unhelpful and rude staff who won’t acknowledge a missing order (for a child) or help to put it right.

Double cheeseburger was stone cold and looked like someone had sat on it. Fries stone cold only thing I enjoyed was the machine made mcflurry and oasis. Was in que number 6 yet 7 8 9 and 10 got served before me while a big ginger lad leant on the counter discussing his weekend ahead. Really poor food and service. Just eat couriers walking through the restaurant continuously dont know why they dont just have a service hatch in side of shop. Manager must be really poor at this branch.

Hopeless, they will get your order wrong and deny any responsibility. Staff are miserable and customer service is non existent. Do not use.

Bite to eat. Molly crew trainer was amazing I heard her chatting to 2 elderly gentlemen. She was so caring towards them. I complimented her. Her face lit up and said "it costs nothing to be nice, you don't know what kind of day people are having. Great way to train the rest of her colleagues. Definitely hope Molly sees this and smiles. Ordered and paid for (confirmed on receipt) 3 large cheeseburger, 1 big Mac and 4 fries. When we got home and unpacked discovered we had 4 incomplete plain burgers meaning it was just a batch with a plain burger and nothing else IE no lettuce or dressing! Instead of 4 fries we had 2 . Rang and complained but only offered a refund if we drove back which wasn't possible .

I went in to this branch at lunch time on Friday, to say it was busy was a understatement. The queue for the drive thru was so big i decided it would be easier to go in to the restaurant. It was also very busy. What made my visit a lot better was by the happy and friendly greeting by Jan. Who welcomed me with a smile and asked how I was. After I ordered my meal I had to find myself a table, when I did Karen very kindly asked if I would like it cleaned before I sat down. She was very polite and courteous. I don't normally leave reviews like this but between Jan and Karen I thought that I should.

Arrived at 00:07 and staff were sat outside and drive through closed. Staff said they were open 24 hours ‘but later in the day’ which makes no sense. Very disappointing.

You cannot stand outside due to the amount of Uber/Deliveroo drivers. No social distancing and all swearing when I had small children with me. This has been a problem for some time and is getting worse by the day.

I went to this McDonald’s at 2.30am intending to go through the drive thru, but it was coned off, so I parked up and went to the front door, standing outside like an idiot while two members of staff sat there stuffing their faces looking at me. I went back at 5.15am, parked up and tried to go inside, but this time a member of staff at least had the courtesy to come to the door and tell me that they weren’t open until 6am. (Because of this member of staff it’s a 2* review and not a 1* review.) Would it hurt to put a sign on the door, saying that you’re closed? You shouldn’t advertise that you’re 24hr if you’re not, and if for whatever reason you can’t be, try and be more open about it by putting a sign in the door, rather than ignoring customer!

Easy to order on the sanitized board with friendly staff directing customers to tables. I observed all the covid rules were in place. Felt relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Bravo!

Absolutely awful. Restaurant went offline yesterday whilst in the middle of a order. Waited over an hour to receive order. Didn't receive til well after 1am! Just got back with our order after having to go through the drive thru twice and it is wrong. Ordered 2 double sausage and egg muffin meals, the receipt reads correctly. But we have 2 single bacon and egg muffins. Very disappointing. Who orders bacon and egg muffins? Sad times.

staff seem nice especially nights. Never had wrong order 10pm 4am. Daytime seem to get orders wrong missing food. Let's hope they can put system in place to get it right.. Food decent.

Surprised by the poor reviews. This is the best McDonalds on the Wirral. It is always clean, staff are friendly and I have eaten the best Big Mac I ever had here. I’m here right now and I’ve just had another perfectly crafted Big Mac, it was picture perfect in its assembly, hot, crunchy lettuce and creamy sauce, 10/10.

Meals where cold, drinks had no fizz in, chips half full, sat waiting for the staff to finish their conversation so I could pay. Bins full and over flowing. Bad experience

My use of a negative as a compliment is entirely justified, for it wasn't terrible. But also little going for it, service lethargic, food just about warm enough, poorly presented. It would have been two but for the parking!

Rock Ferry is my favourite place, not only on the Wirral but in the world. It makes me smile every time I visit. It is a pleasure to live there, such picturesque views and 10/10 destinations. Would recommend

I have been through the drive thru here on many occasions and I have finally decided never to go there again. On many occasions getting order wrong or cold or making u wait ages. My other moan is I always get a hot drink and when I ask for sugar the looks I get is unbelievable. Then I always have to ask for a stirrer. Think they presume I do it with my finger. I will never go again a disgrace to the McDonald’s brand

Never get your order correct, or you get home and half off it is missing as always, need to employ people with at least one brain cell

Hi, as a treat I pop here on a Friday with my daughter.Went through the drive thru and placed my order!No most of the people in the first window are chatting to another colleague and barely acknowledge you at all ( very rude indeed )Asked for a happy meal with nuggets and I wanted a plane burger patty with no bun!Simple right? Nope....look how the burger patty came out...talk about lazy idiots just scraped off all the stuff I didn’t want!And yes I did complain to McDonald’s as this was wrong!!Come on MCs it’s just a simple ask isn’t it!I think most of the people on the drive thru need help with giving service!

A typical visit to McDonald's wherever it may be. Food was of the general standard you expect, the restaurant was clean with a member of staff visibly cleaning up after people, a pet hate, can you not put a tray contents in a bin?

Was starving after a really busy day, went here with my daughter and ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a large fries....burgers were dry and as if they had been cooked hours ago and the large fries box had about 10 fries in it, nothing more annoying as we were already on our way out the car park and in too much of a rush to go back over some fries but when you’re hungry and order such a pathetically simple thing you would expect it to be done right, I don’t understand how someone can look at an order for large fries, pick up a large fries box, then fill it less than half way, seriously how hard a task can it be!!! Never going there again.

What a good idea MacDonald's delivering now NOT. We ordered at 16:02 and given a delivery time of 16.22 which changed to 16:49 then 17:08 then 17:12 and now 17:18. I have just telephoned to speak with the manager who tells me she cannot say when delivery will be. It has now changed to 17:28 and then 17:33. I am now on my way to collect and have been told that I must cancel order and pay again in shop. This is a joke. Will never use again

Me and my friend came to this Mac Donald’s expecting the usual standard of food that we normally get. We ordered with a nice man, but all the staff in the back were messing round with each other and the food. We ordered quite a lot from the menu. Everything was cold and dry. I always get the chicken selects as they are normally very tasty, but on this occasion they were hard, dry, and tasted slightly burnt. The chips tasted out of date. And the rest of the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and was not fresh. A disappointing end to our night.

Everytime I go in it's like Halloween all over again. From the staff that appear befuddled at general orders given to the management lurking in the back angrily rolling their eyes at you.

This is a well located McDonalds that we always visit before boarding the boat ove to Belfast- food is always good and its local to the port. No issues here.

Was a typical McDonalds. Could fault it in any way - the food was usual standard the staff were typical pleasant efficient and the outlet was clean neat and tidy. Toilets were clean and working. Carpark large and litterless. 10/10

Called in on way through. Ordered the new BBQ burger meal x 2. Had to take the drink back was disgusting was told one burgur would be brought to us in a few mins. I had to twice repeat the order for 3 drinks, was then only given two. When I said I had ordered 3 was made to feel it was my fault even though I said I had already asked for 3 twice. The service was terrible and I will not be using that McDonalds again. When I got to work and gave the other 2 drinks to colleagues one of them was just coloured water, no taste and definately not drinkable.

Dont bother with this particular restaurant, the staff always get your order wrong on the drive through and more often or not you wait ages in the waiting bay.Going in ia not much better either, staff quite young and always talking and messing about..

Finally learnt my lesson that when your craving a McDonald's it's best too travel a bit further a field than the one closest.... I have never had a correct order given too me in all the times I went through the drive thru.... Sometimes Your're in a hurry and don't have time too check and without doubt the order would be missing something when you open it.... I never complain.... I hate complaining.... But if the good is not really cold, half your order is missing.... Id recommend you drive up too bromborough and avoid this one at all costs!

Staff are deaf, ignorant and just not interested in the slightest. Always getting order wrong, putting half empty chips in bag upside down, getting change wrong and standing there talking about the night out they had last night. Worst customer service on the planet. went last week with my granddaughter she loves it i like coffee with my food and can honestly say they serve the worst coffee i have ever tasted have to have about five extra milk and loads of sugar which i dont usually take in drinks to make it taste better sorry McDonalds saying as i find your deli menu is very nice though

This is our local McDonalds and my family are regular visitors, both eating in and using the drive through at least once per week.Our latest visit to the drive through earlier tonight is typical of many of our visits - We arrived home to find part of the meal is missing - tonight it was the 3 drinks (bottles of orange juice). On other occasions it has been part of the meal. Due to the problems we have experienced, we usually check before we drive off to ensure everything is in the bag but tonight we were on the way home from London, were tired & didn't think to check as we just wanted to get home. Arriving home I realised the drinks were missing & had to drive back to the restaurant where they had been put to one side. When I mentioned it to the female staff member she handed them over with no apology for the inconvenience which I consider to be poor customer service. Out of our last ten visits to the drive through I would estimate that on half of those occasions something has been left out of our order. I have spoken to a female manager in the past when the dips had been missed out of our order and she was apologetic but the general staff could do with some training in this area to ensure there are fewer incidents. I dread to think how many drive through orders they get wrong based on our own experiences and think this should be flagged up as a training issue at this branch.I have had no major problems when eating in at this branch of McDonalds. My only concern here is again some of the staff would benefit from a refresher in their customer service training.

I'm surprised that there are so few reviews of McDonalds Rock Ferry, Wirral, although I imagine that McDonalds are a company that constantly trawls through Trip Advisor and probably questions any bad reviews and reviewers (court action coming to a reviewer near you!!)Anyway, I've been to the Rock Ferry McDonalds many times, and have always found it to be clean, with friendly and efficient staff. its also open 24 hours as far as I'm aware, with a drive in service.
