It's McDonald's! Staff competent, food as expected.

I've never had an issue ordering in store for dining in, or takeaway. Sometimes the machines run out of paper to print receipts but that's common at most McDonald's, as long as you remember the order number and items it's not an issue. The food is prepared quickly and to a good standard. Customisations e.g. extra ketchup on the burger haven't ever been missed. If there was an issue I'm sure staff would sort it quickly. The tables are usually clean. Napkins etc. are readily restocked. There's convenient parking outside. I've had issues with missing items when ordering via third parties, which is frustrating, but I believe this is usually an issue with the delivery companies, rather than McDonald's as I've never had an issue when collecting myself. The customer service is great, with a special shout out to Ali for going the extra mile to resolve an issue I had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Go to one of the many other mc Donald’s in High Wycombe. No table service though the machines offer it. Order screen in restaurant not working. Service slow. Food cold. No ice even though we ordered it. Flat coke. No napkins, sugars ect station area. Was there at 4pm so not even peak time.

Paid nearly £3 for a large cappuccino where most places it's around £2.50. must be another franchise rip-off.

Quick service...only downside is that they didn't have any fizzy drinks at the time... machine must've stopped working.

Too busy worrying about deliveroo meals rather than people in restaurant! Waited ages for food when arrived whole order was wrong, watery hot chocolate, milkshake machine not working. Dinner tables all dirty.

I can't fault them, unless you are on plant based diet. Great for quick and easy food, with no fuss. Sometimes machines run out paper, so remember order number, or ask at till, or, use the app. About the only fast food restaurant open early in H/W, so very handy.

Nice and clean plus they have a drive through. Food came nice and quick and all we ordered was perfect 👌

The early morning staff here are absolutely miserable.

Can someone tell me why it’s says online that it closes at 2am and literally advertised outside it saying it closes at 2am but when getting there it the doors are closed. Even tho there are people inside when I knocked on the window the worker says they are closed. Like get your stuff together, very disappointed.

I try to give this branch a chance multiple times but now I’m not going to bother, every time I order, regardless of app or service, always missing items, says delivered but where? Not my house! I’ve driven down multiple times and my most recent visit, was told by the manager “if I see you in here again I won’t serve you” for simply just trying to replace my missing order, staff made new order but even with my presence in front of them, they still missed multiple items, the same manager slammed my food into a bag and then threw the bag on the counter and said “there’s your damn food” Terrible service, staff on their phones behind tills and food stations, no quality control, always lack of items, refusing refunds for said missing items. Staff dragging their feet around not paying any attention to the mess in and out of the kitchen/tills/ restaurants or toilets. Also as someone’s who’s worked in hospitality and food production I thought heavy makeup isn’t allowed or loose hair? These staff don’t seem to have actual hygiene training.

Simple breakfast order, items missing! No quality control

Very loud music, broken containers for hand washing liquids in the toilets and no hygiene at all, the staff was confused and the food was not hot.

It was busy but well run, the tables and floors were all clean and wiped down

Drive thru, told us to wait in car park, no please or thank you or sorry. When food was finally ready, one man walking around aimlessly trying to find us, no receipt given. Ignored us when trying to make sure if we had the right order, just walked off. I don't expect much service from a McDonalds, but somehow I received less

Straight up garbage. The amount times I've had missing items from this place is unreal. I literally just ordered an extra cheese burger for my meal and 2 BBQ dips. I didn't get any of this, but obviously still charged for it. At first it took me getting home to realise, now I ask at the window and the cheek of some people to get frustrated when I do. Just do your job properly, read receipts. It's not hard. But tbh management should be to blame here, it happens to often for it not to be a management issue. It's almost always cold too. Just dont bother, go to the Burger King down the road or anywhere else. You get better food from kebab houses... for half the price. There's no way their 5 stars aren't paid for or not done by corporate.

We ordered on the app to save waiting to long we picked having are order brought out to the car it wasn't the fastest but I'm lazy so I didn't mind waiting

Slow service, wrong orders for everyone waiting and staff making the food out back too busy messing about and having a laugh. Used to be a decent maccies. Let down and not fast food in terms of service wait time

Luckily I couldn’t put a 0 star rating. Took the absolute MICK. Went through the drive through and asked for a Mccrispy bbq smokehouse meal with just lettuce and sauce on the burger , caramel frappe with NO CREAM. Got given a frappe with cream, gave it back and the woman said she’d fix it. After 5 minutes of waiting, I get given the exact same frappe with cream on it and cheese and onions in the burger I specifically said nothing but lettuce and sauce on. Went inside to get these corrected but apparently workers are so thick they can’t understand simple instructions. Got given BUN with lettuce and sauce in it. NOT EVEN A PATTY. Also don’t live local to this McDonald’s so am having to travel back to make sure I get a refund because it’s ridiculous. Your workers need brain cells because they’re lacking a few.

Ordered a burger without bun because one of the children I was ordering for was coeliac. Delivery contained a box saying “burger no bun” only the burger did have a bun on it. Phoned to point out the mistake and that it was potentially dangerous. Person who answered the phone clearly couldn’t care less. If I could give no stars I would.

The food was absolutely awful the milk shake was just a cup of froth will not recommend this one

We came today and we ordered food but when I came back home I was missing food from it like 5 fries and one veggie burger

This place is terrible I order online for a delivery and half the food arrived, I went on the phone and explained that half the order had arrived at that time my family left to go out when I explained the problem to the person on the phone they said I have to go down there and get the order, after me saying I can't since I have no transport, now this conversation is going in circles saying this that you come here me saying I can't now I'm getting annoyed that this is getting no where after paying 30 including delivery, we ask the delivery man everything and he said yes disappointed on the lack of communication and checking the order twice, only recommend going in person also now my parents have to detour go to McDonald's get it sorted and drive back give me the food and be late for there outing Terrible service I want a full refund of the order all my food Is cold

Chips are always cold. That is my main observation at any branch of McDonald's. Staff were nice. It wasn't busy. No atmosphere to speak of.

Always get the order wrong whether it's missing items or giving the completely the wrong order. Always double check what they have given you as if you don't correct it there and then, then the make it impossible to get what you ordered and paid for.

Went to pick up my order, but even then, it was not exactly hot. Food sat on the pass while staff buzzed around at the drive-through and got delivery orders ready, Shame, as the food was nice, just not warm enough.

Tried ordering on the drive through today, no response from order speaker, after a while of sitting there with the begger asking me for money, still no response from speaker, left without ordering

Meal lukewarm and chips disgusting and inedible. Complaint made- was given replacement chips which were freshly done and hot.

Mayhem - ques to order, long wait, some of the order was incorrect and some failed to arrive. Too much chaos in the ordering area to make corrections.

Used to be good, seem to have gone downhill recently (May 2024). I plan to avoid them, at least for the rest of this year. Maybe they'll have sorted out their problems by then.

Awful service and rude. Ordered food, when it turned up only the drinks and McFlurry was packed in a large bag nothing else. I called up to enquire about this and the person that picked up was extremely rude and hung up on me.

Effing useless, if you order more than 4 items something will be missing, no I don't think they made a mistake, I think they are scammers as no one could be that bad , they obviously take home all the missing food at the end of their shift, I'm thinking they are thieves as no one is that incompetent

Very fast, very easy, very 'familiar' menu, process and products. Is it me, or do double cheeseburgers never look quite as lofty as in the photos?

The manager of this branch needs some serious training, and he has to stop taking customers for granted.

It's McDonald's what else is there to say

This McDonald's is all about speed, which is good if you're in a hurry, but sometimes the burgers look like they've been thrown together. Also, since they updated the car park, nobody seems to know how to park properly. It's causing issues with blocked access to the pickup bays.

Staff at the serving hatch rude and miserable .

The burger at McDonald's exceeded expectations with its delicious and mouthwatering flavor. The staff, especially Cristina Iuliana, demonstrated exceptional kindness and attentiveness towards all customers, making the dining experience truly enjoyable and memorable.

Unbelievably terrible McDonald's, they should be ashamed. The service was terrible not even acknowledged at the counter, staff messing around whilst tables were left uncleaned and condiments not filled up despite pointing this out. Even the manager was play fighting with the staff. No-one cares here it's a shambles.

This is one of the rare McDonald's that actually gives you nice hot fries!

McDonalds restaurant with drive through. A life saver at all hours of the day. It’s McDonalds- cookie cutter food. Cookie cutter service. Can’t knock it. It works.

As McDonalds goes, this one is below average. Milkshake machine broken, which seems to be a very common occurrence here. Their headset stopped working while they were taking our order so only half of it went through, and when they took the other half they took it wrong. There's definitely better branches around.

Whole delivery, service and order was no stars. Ordered 3 items and took hour for them to get to me. Once they got here we specifically said no cheese as person who ordered is allergic. When we called mcdonalds Dovecot in High Wycombe the man in drive through that we got through to said that we’ll have to speak to uber eats. Apparently they can’t send another uber driver coming to pick up deliveries to give us what we asked for. Disgusting service. When i told him the person who ordered is severely allergic to cheese they could end up in hospital he said ‘mistakes happen’. Mcdonalds really do not value their customers and their health. Disgusting. If you want your order to come correct. Don’t order here.

Ordered a Big Mac without cheese because I can’t eat cheese and was given cheese in my burger the special sticker on the clamshell even says no cheese, burger is now in the bin

Poor service as usual. All the frozen drinks off again and Oasis off as well . Tables all dirty. Just eat get the Priority here every one els is second fiddle.

27/01/24 early am I ordered a bacon N egg mega meal with coffee.Coffee is the best around,however the meal I could see was being prepared with no gloves on,guy was rubbing his nose,and still preparing my food with just hands.Very unhygienic and unsatisfactory.And it was just thrown together with no care at all..Goes without saying I didnt ear it,im now out of pocket by £6 something. MacDonalds dovecot road high Wycombe,sort this out pls.

Recently I have been some issues with the food I have ordered. The service has always been great but the chicken whether it's in the wrap or Strips tastes stale! It's not fresh food. When you bite into the food you can see the chicken is either off or stale due to the texture and taste. It's a shame because it's has actually put me off coming here. Please fix this if the food is a few days old don't just reheat and sell to customers as we can tell the difference. I hope this gets sorted out but for now I will not coming here anymore

They forgot one burger on drive through. The manager Christina was apologetic and happily gave us a free burger plus the uncollected one and threw in some fries and apple pies!! Thanks!!

Ordered a double cheeseburger with no ketchup. Double cheeseburger came without cheese, mustard, onions and pickles, was just a bun with 2 patty’s and what makes it even worse, you can see that they originally put on the mustard and scraped it off. Constant problems here, avoid

Instructed by drive through to park illegally on road nearby because they didn't have food ready. When it came it was certainly not freshly made and mostly inedible. Better McDonald's option available in HW. Avoid this one.

Suspected drug users obstructing drive thru asking for money. Can be quite intimidating and make it difficult to order food.

Very fast table service, restaurant spotless clean, even the toilets. Food perfect.

Disgusted with the experience this morning! I walked up to the counter and said can I get 2 sausage McMuffins no sorry can I get 1 sausage and 1 egg McMuffin meals when I noticed the lady made 3 drinks I asked her what she was doing for me? She replied 2 sausage and 1 bacon McMuffin meals when I said that’s not what I ordered I was basically told it was tuff I’ll have to take it! A company the size of McDonald’s and they can’t refund because their member of staff wasn’t listening properly! Thanks McDonald’s great way to start the day! And my issue is the principle!

Got half the order wrong. Hot chocolate was flavourless brown water.

Cold food and not much service. Chips rank and cold burgers lettuce brown and dirty. Would suggest clear cooking advisory to make food hot.

Quick and friendly service, always a given after a night out!

The service and food are fine, but visiting is 3/4 times a pain because nothing is done about the homeless people that seem to be ever present around the place. More often than not, you cannot go in or out without being accosted by one or several homeless people begging for food and/or money, and quite persistently so, while clearly being on drugs or drunk. It happens probably 75% of the time I try to get lunch here, and they do not take no for an answer. The restaurant has no security staff monitoring the car park, so expect to be approached several times by addicts begging for money between your car and the restaurant on any given day. They will tell you they need money for a night in a shelter. They don't. There are multiple shelters in town, and they are free.

This McDonalds can be a bit hit and miss. Generally, the service is good. Occasionally, items are missing from your order. Particularly if it's a home delivery. Better off going in person and collecting it.

Visited recently, ordered table service and they refused to deliver it to my table despite the fact that I explained that I have a disability. Will never use again.

Plenty of staff to serve customers. Parking could be difficult sometimes.

I don’t go to McDonald’s that much, but I had a craving for a big Mac. It was delicious, the fries were undercooked but they were hot and normally I find with this brand that fries are always lukewarm. Essentially they could have been better. what I did like is, I observed a lot of staff cleaning the area and that gives me reassurance because again some branches are filthy. The other disappointment for me was the receipt was not produced from the self-service machine when I did the table delivery option. I asked the colleague if she could still get me a receipt and the answer was no. I found that poor on both counts

The receipt machine was broken then someone took are food they then didn’t believe us when we named the exact order and checked cameras making us bring up the bank account and showing we ordered we just wanted our chicken nuggets

Our order was wrong in THREE different ways including two missing main items. When I went back down to ask for those items I mentioned it to one member of staff who was directed me to a lady with blonde short hair and glasses who spoke very curtly and frankly made me feel like it was my fault. The proceeded to get it wrong again. The restaurant is reasonably nice in terms of appearance, food was as usual, but I was not impressed with particular members of staff at all.

Great service but chocolate milkshake tastes like vanilla and lettuce was brown in the spicy chicken burger.
