McDonald's in Maidstone

It used to be really good but unfortunately it’s one of the worst Maccies in the area now. Got parked up and waited 10 minutes just to get rock hard and cold nuggets that were clearly sat in the OAT for like an hour. Went inside and politely asked for them to be swapped and the area leader just rolled his eyes at me, disappeared for literally 2 seconds and gave me the same box i just handed him (i knew because i had a tiny bite of one of the nuggets). This morning I ordered a simple egg and cheese muffin and had to wait 15 minutes just for that one thing. There was one person in kitchen and one on front during breakfast rush. I know itself not staff fault there’s not enough people being scheduled but maybe something should be done about this when people are waiting up to 20 minutes for simple orders.

Nothing special big mc meal should br renamed to lil mac snack wouldn't fill a mouse

Worlds worst McDonald's. They can even get a simple oasis right. It was half empty and no ice. Had to wait 10 mins for someone to get to the front and take my order after driving up to the window and asking if they were open. So bad

Very clean place and friendly staff, children crayons and colouring are supplied and available

The worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at. Order incomplete. Cold, too. The salad must have fallen down the stairs and got mixed up. I don't recommend it.

Food was delivered freezing cold no drinks came that I ordered with my food neither any sauces twice now from here will never order again

It is exactly what you would expect from a service station McDonald's.

No hot drinks at all. Really slow service (seems to have gotten slower since McD have gotten rid of counter staff in favour of getting customers to do the work). Salad was actually okay.

Been here afew times and everytime with simple orders been told to wait at 3rd window. Times of 10 mins - 30 mins!! But no one else in the drive thru? Chips like warm. And as you can see by the pictures we ordered 2 large chips… seriously haven’t eaten any yet!! Only asked for sweet curry sauce?? Not what I’ve had from other maccies

Very slow, very dry food, fake Coca-Cola drink, I had to throw it away because the taste was awful, a long time waiting with few people... all very bad. I do not recommend this site

I placed an online order via the app only to arrive and find that no card payments could be taken so I had to find an alternative place to get a takeaway treat for my son. Utterly useless. There is always a problem with this branch

Good general services.. Missing several choices because sold out or out of hours?! Otherwise clean place and attentive staff.

Expect a 20 minute wait 90% of the time going through the drive through they park you up in the car park for a further wait literally they cannot cope poor customer service they close the drive thru when it gets too busy I kid you not average wait from ordering to getting your food is 15-20 mins when busy they leave you sat at the order point waiting so they can catch up currently inside the store card machine isn't working cash only and we're 9 mins from order no food 4 people waiting slow food definitely not fast if your in a rush avoid if you have some time to kill pop in

Really poor experience. Stopped her On journey home from Dover port. Initially tried to order Milkshakes, the machine was 'broken' instead ordered a hot chocolate and a happy meal. Waited about 15 minutes from ordering until we could move to the pay window. Then a further 10 minutes to collect our order. One of those situations where you think 'any moment we are going to progress, any moment' and then hate yourself for wasting nearly half an hour of your life for a mediocre hot chocolate and tepid fries.

After a long time I saw really nice staff at MC UK. It's a big difference compared to some fast food places. Thank you very much for a nice day thanks to your staff. Driver Sten Czech Republic

Seemed very busy, but food only luke warm. Not recommended

Ordered a toffee latte through the drive thru. Took a very long time to get it and when I did, they had got toffee sauce all over the outside of the cup so it wasn't a pleasant experience trying to drink it.

Cappuccino was like bath water and the cardboard lid leaves a bad taste in your mouth. (But pepsi can have a plastic lid?) The person on the drive thu couldn't understand proper English and even when ordering simple items off the menu we had to pull into a bay to wait 5 minutes. Food was bland.

Long queue but the staff worked hard to get the orders out. I ordered 3 Chicken Mayo and they came quick and fresh.

Nice place to sit and chat with family.

By snap payment, we pay an extra £2 for parking and we get a voucher for £10

Seriously this only gets a star because you can't give no stars and the food was OK when we got it. Genuinely believe this is the worst run McDonalds in the UK. Today we waited 30 minutes - yes half an hour, you read that right - for a simple order from the drive through. I wouldn't be leaving a review, except this is the second or third similar experience at this location. I don't know how it is possible to run a simple food outlet so badly - McDonalds UK should investigate and reconsider whether the franchisee should actually be allowed to continue. Feel sorry for the young lads who were running orders out to the car park in rain to some pretty unhappy customers.

Most useless mcdonalds i have ever been to, half the staff are standing around with no idea what they are doing. They prioritise drive through so much thats walk in customers are left to stand around waiting to order and waiting for their food so long its cold. The place is a joke to say the least but its Roadchef so no surprise there.

On arrival through the drive-through asked for a vanilla milkshake was told out of vanilla milkshake asked what other flavours they had the young man in the kiosk said they had a flavour. I’ve never heard of it before I asked what flavour it was he said he didn’t know so I ordered the Coke instead. I’ll get into the Window to collect my food. I asked young lady what flavour it was she then had to get a manager because she didn’t know what flavour it was? Just that it was the colour purple the manager came came over to the window. I asked if I could change the Coke for a milkshake basically the answer is no I explained that I couldn’t understand what the young man was saying through the intercom to be told he’s been doing it for six months Clearly the staff Needextra training there to know what product That are actually on sale Very slow service, poor quality

Ordered and waited over an hr to get my order, not only had someone cancelled it, after speaking with someone who said they would sort it, they then carried on with other orders making me wait another 15min! By the time I got my food it was cold and a waste of money! Little tip, if you can't handle the amount of orders you have, close the drive through!

I didn't sit in but I have on many occasions, the food is always fresh and the place is spotless as staff clean all the time. It would be nice if staff where a little happier 😊 but they are polite and work tirelessly. Definitely recommend them 👌.

Awful McDonald’s always closed. Constantly forget stuff. Burgers just thrown together. Why do you advertise 24 hours when you always close at about 11.30? Not happy.

What an absolute shambles. Can’t even get a simple order right. Wasn’t even busy. 4 orders ahead of me and 2 in the drive though. Waited 11 min and when I got home there were no chips. This restaurant needs training properly This isn’t the first time we and friends have had problems here.

Skeleton staff, no decent drinks, staff looked miserable, food wasn’t too great either, far too peppery

The drive thru tends to be backed up! Relatively slow, both girls that actually took payment and handed our food were polite yet a little distracted, asked if we wanted sauce but didn’t actually get it in our bag, only cans of drink available for Coke and Diet Coke no sprite at all, no napkins in the bag which tends to be a reoccurring issue here.

I am not impressed by the lack of carbonated drinks and the prices of the cans. It is costing me way too much in this inflation living crisis.please fix this change and then I will keep buying from you thank you, sorry for the insincere review.

Popped in here on a trip for a quick bite of breakfast. Staff amicable and helpful, venue was clean and tidy, food well prepared and presentable and quite delicious for a McDonald's, which sometimes I find a bit greasy.

The person who was responsible for my order was missing the mcplant from order also I have been order 2 orange pie and I got 1 orange pie and 1 apple pie but the price is different between them also I have order large cola and they give to me a can.

Items missing out of order on more than one occasion

One star is too many for this place. Stevie Wonder would make a better job of reading your order and preparing your food. I have NEVER received a correct order. Even my recent Big Mac was wrong - it had one patty and looked like it had been assembled by someone wearing boxing gloves! 🙄

Shocking service! Me and my four year old daughter were waiting over 20 minutes for our meal and the manager said it was because they ran out of milk. This could have been sorted much sooner with some communication about the issue. Fortunately a nice gentleman swapped his milk for our orange juice which was given to us as a substitute, though seeing someone that ordered after us receive something which was ‘out of stock’ was quite frustrating. After this we decided to sat in as the order took so long to be ready, and they got my order wrong. There’s something wrong in the system at this branch because my wife went back a couple of weeks later and they got her order wrong too. I think additional training is required for some staff at this McDonalds!

McDonald’s is McDonald’s but this lot are completely useless. The last few times I’ve turned up at Maidstone services, which is after desperation of everything else locally being closed there has been no milkshakes, no McFlurrys, no fizzy drinks. Might as well call this branch Mc…. As I think Donald has popped up the road to Ronald to buy some tools and stock for their menu. Either that of course or the spotty teenager behind the counter can’t be bothered to turn the machine on, or clean it afterwards late in the evening, so that they can get away quick? Oldest trick in the book. The next time this happens I’m going to do a Gordon Ramsey, walk in and turn the machines on myself 2nd review.. for the second time this week I haven’t got what I wanted. The place once again has no milkshakes and I’ve ended up with half an order…. Do McDonald’s only employ simple people at M20 Junction 8 Maidstone?

When ordering you always have to check you get the right food, didn’t think I would have to open the box to check my food was right, i was looking forward to by chicken selects, the service isn’t what I would expect from a McDonald’s

The food okay, but parking for caravans is a joke, it must be sized for a mini and a 1960s caravan, I didn't fit by at least 5M, sort this out, or don't supply caravan parking. I had to leave after purchase food, and park in a lorry park after exiting the main car park area

The usual offering from a McDonald's, conveniently located. Plenty of seating available. Service was quick (as expected) and the food was great.

Decent Maccies, normally have milkshakes and mc flurry’s.

No receipt , forgot sons by Mac and nuggets dry and Luke warm and burger looks like shove together , trying to call. If no answer I drive in morning and tell them what I think of order no 31 tonight Manager sorted refund and apology so gets hundred percent customer service to sorting a problem

To be honest the tables were all dirty. The bins were full. The food was poor quality and the service was below average. I won't be using this facility again

Worst most inefficient Mc Donald's I have been to

15 minutes to get my order. When it finally arrived two of the burgers were cold. Taken back. Then 10 minutes later finally got fresh cooked ones....only they were wrong. Taken back again. Waited another 10 minutes for the guy on the grill to understand what a double cheeseburger with ketchup only was and how to prepare it. Place was dirty and tables covered in food. Disgusting place.

Useless!! Ordered double Big Mac and single one put in double box. Loads and loads of staff and very slow service! Did not even attempt to take it back! Not worth my time! Avoid!

Service has always been slow on the 4 occasions I've been compared to other McDonalds outlets.

Absolutely disgusting, had to give it a,1 star to get my review up, had a mcrib earlier, oh my god my nans toe nails taste better, I think the meat was really playdough, and the barbecue sauce was actually tea, honestly it was minging, after honking up for ages I decided to go back to mcdonald's and leave them a poo parcel, as I was laying down a logger I slipped and fell back into my richard and that started me honking again, I ran home with sweetcorn stuck to my back from my chod, never again will I go mcdonald's

Food was below average from rounder to pieces

I brought my grandson who loved his pancake breakfast with extra sausage patties. Staff are always pleasant, I didn't enjoy mine, but I don't really like this type of food.

Usual McDonald's experience. Friendly helpful staff. Great range of food. Compared to the UK it's different but great. New York cheesecake in velbert DE was reasonable. Easy to park outside. All good 👍

Possibly the worst restaurant ever. So slow and unorganised

When using the toilets before ordering my food, one of the MacDs employees came out of a toilet cubicle, walked straight past the hand wash area without using it, and went back to work. I made mention to the manager as I thought that was disgusting, and was then horrified to see the same employee delivering my food to the table 10 minutes later!

Ordered on app once we'd parked up and the order was ready by the time we got in there, very speedy

A rather small resort, very close to the seaside. It feels a little bit like it's out in the middle of nowhere as there are no facilities open past about 6pm except for the arcade and entertainment venue. Otherwise, I had a nice relaxing "Sun holidays" break there, and I would recommend it....

Normal MCDONALD'S, nothing to shout about . Can be very busy at times. Plenty of kiosks to place your orders. The service area is finally dog friendly 🙂

Good service, but very busy, the portion size of the fries were larger than UK, as for the atmosphere, it's a service stop so nothing exciting.

Food was cold, missing most of the items that was ordered and then wasn’t delivered for over an hour. I have an autistic child and this was meant to be a treat for her and her two siblings but it really wasn’t worth it. We will never use this place again

This has got to be the slowest McDonald’s drive-through I’ve ever been through They also forget your orders, so I drive all the way home they forgot my chicken nuggets and a portion of chips

Useless drive through staff, taking orders they can’t keep up with and the skipping cars waiting in one queuewhile letting 3 others go in the opposite queue, made no sense and staff were clueless.

Need more cleaning. Poop Stains of dogs on roads near pentagon. Most of theBuses start at 6.00. Am. 2 buses one to direction Gravesend and other unknown direction depart at 5.15 am.

It's a McDonald's, but I found waiting took longer than normal. Otherwise, like I say .....it's fast food and a McDonald's.

Busy McDonald's. Fast food with fast service. Stopped on our way to Dover and our ferry to France. The best that can said is that it's a convenient pitstop for Dover, about thirty minutes out. But there's limited tables, the self-service machines don't always print out (so make sure you remember your order number or you'll end up taking big Daves's and he won't be happy) - 4 out of 4 didn't print 🤔. Food was ok. Service was average. Level 9 Google reviewer; 1,000 plus reviews with nearly 2 million views and over 12,000 photos with over 55 million views and still going strong 💪. Due to being on the motorway and the large number of customers, the food is always freshly cooked and hot. ♨️🔥 Also, the waiting time is short.

Never once have I been to the drive through and there not be an issue! Today takes the biscuit though, arrived to find out (after ordering) that they are issuing cans of Coke Zero (not even the equivalent to what was ordered) as well as no milkshakes and poor customer service at both booths!! Worse still, all the staff members agreed with me when I expressed my disappointment, one even saying that it’s “by far the worst McDonald’s in Kent”!!

Ordered table service, after waiting 25 minutes went to the counter to see what's going on, our food was sat there on a tray, all staff standing inside the kitchen having a good old chinwag. Food was cold by this stage. No apologies given.

In and out visit, I find McDonald's to be pretty efficient 99% of the time, it's not gourmet food but it's good enough,filling and relatively cheap so I have no complaints and would use this particular branch again if in the area

They get your order wrong 99% of the time and apparently it’s a new policy to not modify any of your orders such as no ketchup in the burger

Always busy and pretty noisy, food is consistent ( it's McDonald's you know what you're getting). Service has always been excellent.
