One of the worst places to eat, not this one in particular but all of the MacDonald out let's . If I was in the same building as it I was visiting a different eatery

Food was warm waited along time before got food people moaning how long it takes

Sooooo slow. Fast food is slow now.

Whenever you drop in here, check the temperature of your food. Especially drive=in! Again the fries was cold!

Good! Even if The definitely can do better! Still a decent place to go eat something but I’ve heard so many bad things about how McDonalds food quality is getting worse . Someone tell me that they take nearly dead cows from the farm very cheap for their burgers !

Extremely poor service. They continued to take orders at the drive-through when not able to keep up with orders. Management did not react quickly enough to the issue. Ww waited twenty minutes sitting in the car park, then had to walk down and get them to remake the order. Only positive was that they offered a free dessert - but they only had chocolate pie! Avoid!

Love Dan, he needs a promotion! Such a lovely guy and very helpful. Only complaint is that one of our coffee’s was cold, which was a bit annoying.

This Mc Donalds and service station is awful. The tables are always full of litter. When i arrived all of the bins were full. There was rubbish in the floor in Mc'ds and also all over the service station. The only bonus was i got my order and it was hot. The cleaniness is really poor and a big lwt down and something this bad, i have not seen in any other service station.

Didn't get what I ordered . Food missing . No receipt from machine so wouldn't accept order was wrong. Avoid

I don't recommend it, it was dirty and not fresh and the staff had time for everything

Utter chaos. I had to wait longer here, than at any McDonald's I've ever visited. Clueless staff were taking so long to hand out prepared food, that queues got completely out of control. They started using rows of chairs to try and keep people out. In the end a manager was running around screaming at his cooks to 'stop sending more food!', whilst hurling most of what remained in the nearest bin.

Calling this "fast food" isn't even ironic. Just a sick joke. What a shambles. Took 40 minutes to get served. No apology. Just a load of uneducated morons passing off as customer service...without any actual service. Embarrassing

Excellent food and service, I can say it was good, but it is crowded sometimes..everyone wants to do something and there is no time..quickly say what you want and leave.

Sat in McDonald's with my two young children. There is a chap cleaning tables etc who hasn't stopped. I believe his name is Jamie although I may have this wrong. Overhearing me ask if my kids wanted ketchup, he offered to get it for us so I didn't have to leave the table. His customer service is brilliant, making time to talk to people, helping people, making sure the area is spotless. Well done Jamie!

The night shift was a tragedy. I'll order takeout. Cheeseburgers not compliant with the MC recipe (no pickles, onions and mustard). In general, the restaurant is a mess, there are fries lying on the floor and the tables are piled high like in TVNie (POLES SHOULD UNDERSTAND 😜). I don't recommend Allegrowicz 😉

Nothing great, just usual food stuff. But more surprised to see less number of chips on a large chip order. Quality needs to be approved.

No hot chocolate (apparently broken for a while!), no oasis either! Even worse, 8.30am, no queue in the drive through and had to wait for food. Apparently McDonalds does fast food, not at this restaurant.

The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever eaten at, I love maccys chips but these chips were like rubber, got fresh ones and they were still like rubber, no option to purchase medium cold drinks so had to buy large which were then handed to us as a large with a medium amount of liquids, the milkshake tasted awful, all were returned, burgers were ok at least.

Many years since I visited McDonald's in France. It's changed quite a bit. It's become very much more like the franchise is in England. No lovely salad bowls, no beer, and no steak hache. Also don't do meal deals. Won't be visiting again.

For a service station this was a very pleasant experience. By far the best McDonald's in the area, food was fresh hot and the right amount of salt. Staff were friendly and helpful despite being very busy. I would highly recommend this McDonald's

It's okay like any other McDonald's it's dirty and creasey but that's why you go to it. Didn't wait to long either.

In Dymchurch for weekend everywhere seemed to shut early ! Had to drive to Folkestone to get a late dinner.

My daughters food was OK, but like most Mc Donald's now you have to go and park up and wait, and wait, and wait. Fast food it is not!!

Be careful of parking as met parking take no prisoners, a min over £100 parking charge.. Food was good, except not enough honey.. so dry pancakes, had no porage..

80% of indoor seats closed, forced to freeze outside, children's games closed, errors in the order, very very long service for a fast food restaurant, we ate cold, weeknight, at 8 p.m.

Late lunch. They seem to have spent some money on Maidstone Services . Maybe the drive through McD made them do it. Food was what you would expect from McDonald's. We usually just use McWifi and have a McCafe and every time there's no paper to print the order/receipt....

There were big problems with the order - first it was impossible to choose the normal offer at the kiosk, then it was impossible to pay by card, and finally one of the sandwiches was magically missing (it was there before). The order showed as ready, but it took about 2 minutes to complete. I ordered on site and got it to go. The fries tasted strange and the meat was pale.

I am very very pleased with the service and quality of food I received today. Junction 8 is my nearest Mcdonalds and typically when we order there we are less than satisfied. The food never seemed fresh, food was cold and I started to feel like there was little to no quality control so stopped getting it from there and would only get McDonald’s if we were out however today was a treat for the kids finishing school and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, the drinks too. Normally the milkshake is spilling out of the lid and the drinks not filled to the line but today it was great, spot on. The burgers actually looked as advertised and the chips were hot and fresh I don’t know what changes have been made, whether it’s staff changes but I wanted to pass on my praise and feedback as a form of acknowledgement and hopefully reinforcement. Long may it continue

Out of all the mcdonalds that I have been to in my life, this McDonald's is by far the worst. The service is poor, and the portions are tiny. Every time that I have used this McDonald's, the milkshake machines are not working. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

Pulled into services to grab coffee and noticed the drive-through. Quick and easy to order, pay and collect. Large coffee and tea for £3.48 so no complaints.

Unfortunately I ate here the worst Big Mac ever It looks they are focussed on bus stops It was very fast but quality was not what it should be it was cold dry and tastless No pickles no unions almost no Big Mac sauce Also missing products ( Sauces) which happened muliple times while I was waiting Of course I could have gone back and most likely it would have been solved but this shouldn’t be needed Just send out this review in the hope it will improve to a level what it should be

Hash brown was soggy rather than the usual crispy service. Very little brown sauce on the breakfast roll, could hardly taste it.

Got breakfast for the family and we used the drive though. We had a staff member called Dan and he was the most polite, funny person we have experience in McDonald's. We had to change our order and and nothing was a problem.

All I wanted was a Coffee with Porridge and Jam. Coffee was luke warm and told to wait in a bay for 8 mins for porridge!? Porridge came but had no spoon or jam in the bag? It wasn't even busy!! Franchisee needs to have a look! Not Using again.

At a services where the drive-through seemed to take priority over walk in customers. So be prepared for a long wait.

I have been 6 times to this restaurant each timing attempting to use the drive through after I have already ordered and paid via the phone app. I only have started using them in the last 2 or 3 months. 1st visit ordered and then found systems were down but said it will only take 10 minutes. I ended up waiting over 40 minutes. 2nd visit system down yet again but was fixed in around 15 minutes before I got my food. 3rd visit their milkshake system was broken 4th visit appeared to be ok but when I got home, I found the order was incorrect and they gave me only 1 burger instead of 2 5th visit was possibly the only time it went well although the burger (like a few other times) was missing onions. 6th visit (today) was the worst. When I ordered via phone, the milkshake machine must have been broken yet again. I then found out the drive-through was blocked off. So, I parked and went inside to see if I could get my order form there to find out they put up chairs to block off access to the tills. I tried to get someone’s attention but failed so I gave up and cancelled my order and went home totally disappointed The place seems to be falling apart. Despite the drive through being new I’ve never seen the automatic windows work and they are usually jammed and must be manually pushed quite hard to open or close. Hopefully I get a refund to my order soon, but based on these stats, there is a 1 in 6 chance having a good experience. I will not be using them anymore.

Quick service. Clean self-service terminals for eat in or take away. They have a drive-thru as well. It's located within the wider highway stop chef centre .

Soggy hash browns were made up by rocket fuel coffee ☕️, it's at a service station so I wasn't looking for a party vibe.

Waited for an age, still here now waiting.....ever time we come, which has been quite a few times, it still has not got better. You would have thought someone would have done something abut it, clearly very poorly managed....I order 1 pack of chips and nuggets and it took jolly 15mina to come, couldn't be more basic... can't call this a drive through, we may as well gone and sat inside. Once upon a time our belly rumbled , our feet weary, we sought the golden arches for refuge. Stumbling across a junction 8 macdonalds was a sight for saw eyes. Only to find out the service is carnage. Food paid for we approach the next window with caution, only to be greeted by a woman telling us we will find our food in the carpark! My heart sank as we made our way back out into the queue of cars in search for some scraps of chicken. After waiting 20 minutes, we hear a ear shattering bang on our window. A solemn looking employee hands over our rather soggy looking bag of food. My husbands eyes light up, as the rustle of the bag opens.....dun da naaaaa, a salad leaf??!!!! We ordered chips and chicken nuggets only to greeted with this!! I begin to rock back and forth and withdrawal symptoms kick in. My husband assures me that unfortunately this is junction 8 and nothing can be changed. Sad times, but we live and learn, and know for next time to go elsewhere to avoid such tragedy. Thnx for your time.

Sorry, we only popped in to use the toilet. I find their burgers etc useful if I have constipation and I am desperate for a solution. I eat the occasional breakfast, the chips pass muster, the diet is disgusting but the milkshakes are great.

The worst McDonalds experience I have ever had. It was a drive through. We ordered our meal. Waited 10 minutes in the queue (6 cars from collection to order). We paid, waited a few minutes and were given our drinks and asked to go to next window for food. Waited for another few minutes. While we were waiting we noticed staff running in and out, delivering and collecting food and drinks from other parked cars. When we eventually got our food we drove off, only to find that we were given the wrong food. We had been driving for 5 hours and were too tired to drive to the next junction, turn around back to the restaurant to do anything about it.

Hash brown was lovely but my sausage muffin was over cooked and luke warm. Unfortunately because we had resumed our journey I couldn't return it for a replacement.

I recently stopped by the McDonald's at Roadchef Maidstone M20 and had a delightful experience. The worst McDonald’s in history. Every time I come here the order is wrong and today just topped me off. Ordered breakfast in the stupid que and then when I waited 30 mins to get to the window they tell me they have no breakfast wow Never again will I use this McDonald’s

Messed my order up after waiting what seemed like a half an hour for my food. They took my recept when they collected my food, then asked for it again when I said they missed off the quarter with cheese. I had the fries and drink, just no burger. Ended up ordering a cheese burger and waiting another 20 minutes for that.

A typical McDonalds, I would not eat there but there was no choice so late. Food was tasteless, the bacon cheeseburger was bland until you bit into those nasty gherkins, i hope that I was eating beef. Long wait to get my food and I had no receipt as the machines had run out of printer paper.

Food was not very hot and looked like it had burgers looked like they had been thrown together. Only one slice of cheese in my triple although advertised as two. Tray basically thrown at you when food collected and absolutely no acknowlement of your existence by staff. Observed the same with other customers. Staff so noisy, laughing and shouting between themselves, you could have mistaken thought they were at a party. Noise reverbarated through the building. Based on this experience won't use this branch again.

Maidstone Service station mcds was a toilette stop. Ordered some breakfast and All tables were filthy.

Ordered on the app and when collecting was given my milkshake then told a couple of minutes later they were waiting on the meat! In a burger restaurant? Gave my milkshake back and when the food was ready the milkshake was missing.... once I got it, it was more vanilla than strawberry!

Very busy and it would seem McD do not have enough staff. Food quality, however, was fine after a 10 minute wait.

Our family stopped over on the way home for a quick dinner. The wait was verrryyy long, about half an hour, to just queue up to order food. It was not even that busy, just not enough staff. My husband had to go and looked for a cleaning spray and cleaned the table himself as the cleaning staff was no where to be seen. The chips tasted very old, like they were fried in old oil. The fishfinger tasted horrible too, very dry and hard and off, like they were there for the whole day. How could they even serve this food to customers!

Outstanding place to visit great coffee!

It's not what it used to be. I couldn't order a Nestlé Frappe Shake because the man at the counter spoke German so poorly and didn't understand what I wanted. That really can't be the case. Impossible. We are eating worse and worse and the portions are getting smaller. For the money I go out to eat well in a restaurant.

In and out visit, I find McDonald's to be pretty efficient 99% of the time, it's not gourmet food but it's good enough,filling and relatively cheap so I have no complaints and would use this particular branch again if in the area

What a disaster McDonald, I’ve been living in harrietsham for almost 3yr. They upgraded the McDonald with a drive through. We thought that after spending all that money they will be ABLE to provide all products on there menu without forgetting anything when using drive through. Well, the ice machine is STILL out of order. Never ice coffee, frozen mango drink & 50% of the time no ice cream. We have ordered multiple times & then we are a meal short. Someone is without a meal. This problem can only be down to management. This needs to be sorted. Hardly any take around us & McDonald's is a let down.

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I am sick to death of having to "park up" and wait even when ordering just two happy meals! This is my closest McDonald's, but I'm honestly considering travelling to the next one because ordering from here is so stressful! Last time I ordered two happy meals and two mcflurrys. They made the ice cream and then told me to park up and wait. By the time the food came, the ice cream had melted. I don't think I've ever ordered and actually got my food at the next window. The manager here seriously needs to sort the problem as what they are doing clearly isn't working.

We all know McDonalds drive thrus are hit and miss but this one takes the Mc biscuit! With my job I travel too quite a few but I’ve been here about 5 times now and always have to wait for a long time, orders come out wrong and the frappe/milkshake machines like others never seem to work? Avoid unless you have 30 minutes of your time to waste
