Ribs in black bean sauce- can eat forever 😁

Food was bland much smaller portions and costs gone up some of the meat smelt funny so much msg it gives you a thirst and a headache the next.shame this takeaway was great,but must be a new cook or owner,will not be going back here.food is awful.

Think there has been a change of chef. Potion sizes very small. Food was OK but was not the standard expected. It came quick enough and was hot. May try else where as standards definitely dropped.

Havent ordered from kims in over a yr as was not impressed. Other chinese were shut thought id give them another go. Definitely wont be ordering from them agon.Ordered my food said 20 mins. It arrived quick enough containers felt hot served my food and with in 5 min my food was cold. Very disappointed and felt for the potions sizes over prices and the cheaps no comment,

Ordered a set menu yesterday ,among other items, didn't receive my full set menu ,they kindly delivered . Not sure if there is a new chef, there was hardly any egg in egg fried rice, chicken curry very bland , I used to love ordering from fat dragon but the food is not up to standard.

Total RIP off!! Special fried rice had about 3 bits of meat in it and cold.waste of money.thought we would give it another try after avoiding 4 months after disgusting spare ribs but wont ever go there again.

Last weeks price hike is absolutely ridiculous. I’m literally sitting here in disbelief.

I placed order by phone , I needed to change an item in set menu for something I could eat and they changed without question, lady on phone lovely and polite, I was told half an hour delivery yet I received it with 15 minutes of my phone call. I do not order takeaways much but when I do fat dragon beats hands down. Even I feel u fancy a Indiana I end up ordering fat dragon abs the food is a always fresh and delivery prompt if not early ... thank you fat dragon

Absolutely disgusting service from the counter staff the young girl I believe her name is (Madeline) she is so rude and and has a stinking attitude basically chucked my Chang at me. Took my order when it came out it was wrong and the attitude I got when I asked to have it put right WOW!!! The owners should be ashamed having staff treating customers as they do. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Really wish the guy that used to run this Chinese when it was Kim's was still there. The girl now doesn't have a clue. A year or so ago they refused to drive up our road because it snowed almost a week earlier. The snow had but almost thawed by this point. All other delivery drivers from take aways were able to get up our road. Just over a week ago, she was all ready to take our order until I said they'd have to take a different route (about 10 mins extra) as the road was closed. She then refused as it wasn't fair on the driver to drive 10 mins or to other customers whose food would go cold. I pointed out ours doesn't always arrive hot! She did suggest I could walk through the village to the point where their driver could drive up to. I should have asked if that would have removed the delivery charge!!! Absolutely diabolical customer service.

Never had a disappointing Chinese from here! Good price too. Little disappointed the chicken balls seem to have shrunk,but still tasty.

We usually order from golden sun which we have never had a problem with. But got food from here tonight it was bland, tasteless and was a waste of money. It was all cold. Even the kids didn't eat any of thier dinner and they love Chinese usually. But the worst thing was that we ordered duck pancakes...there was so many sharp broken bones inside the meat. Totally put us off. Was not nice at all

Ordered a kingprawn omelette would have expected some kinda veg in there such as onions peas or even mushroom. Omelette was luke warm and chips were stone cold.

Always thought this was the best Chinese but tonight my food was look warm and didnt get my sweet and sour sauce i got curry sauce instead so couldnt dip my chicken balls or pour over my Chinese

My order was very quick it said 40 mins on my email and it was 10 mins the food was very nice and i would order again highly recomend this takeaway when i phoned up after i placed my order the person i spoke to was very helpful and polite the delivery driver was also very polite thank you very much

Ordered food Sauce was in bag where crushed or dropped Sliced chicken was missing Said they would get it out asap and re do the duck dish as apology Then never sent duck dish so waiting 2 hrs 20 from original order as you can imagine not good and food not in best condition. Shouldn’t say you will do something then not either Cannot recommend

Just ordered and noticed the price increase which shocked. Prawn toast was disgusting and no flavour. Chicken curry was bland. Won't be using again

Noticed prices increases, smaller portions in the plastic tubs, and food is luke warm. Under new management? Collected my order after a phone call, confirming back what I wanted before finishing the call. Discovered when I got home the order was wrong. Wanted A Pineapple fritter but got a prawn curry instead? Did call to complain. Noticed later on in the neal that the shrimp fried rice had what looked like a grey long thing coming out of the shrimp, (a maggot maybe as I pulled it out and it was soft?). Some of the peas in the dish had black spots on them too - mould?). Already had one mouthful and realised what the issue was then. £34 meal was then bined. Was a frequent loyal customer but no longer. Not impressed. Things seemed have sadly changed of late.

Was looking for recommendations for a Chinese delivery service and was told by my local community to try this place - great food and quick delivery will definitely use again.

making the delivery lady wait untill she has 5 orders to deliver....simply not good enough... I witnessed the first order just left on the side for 25mins while she waited untill the 5th one was complete. stone cold... then she has to go and deliver them all over the area... christ.... no thanks

Avoid at all cost price has gone up with smaller portions last time I ordered it was lukewarm and greasy, no taste We left most of it but we still felt sick.

Food has always been good apart from their chow mein that is quite bland but we have just ordered and noticed the prices have gone up along with the minimum amount for delivery which we went with but when the food turned up we noticed that they had also gone with smaller amounts too! Less chicken balls, only 2/3 of pot of curry sauce etc. Prices of things have gone up which we accept but to also do smaller amounts I feel is a bit of a p##s take.

We have used this in the past but felt it being going down in quality so haven't ordered for some months. We decided to give it a go this weekend and what a comeback. All dishes was hot and very tasty. If this is kept up no competition in Maidstone. Well done guys.

Always loved the food from Fat Dragon but about a year go it started going downhill so we went else where. Tonight we decided to give it another go .... we’ll what can I say !!!! WOW ..... probably the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time. The food was spot on., very tasty, hot and not over cooked. Hats off to the chef. We will definitely be coming back again. Well done guys x

Always been my regular choice of Chinese takeaway, asked today if they could write on the bag happy birthday for my mum, and they wrote it on every pot and she was so happy with the treat too! Really lovely of you, great customer service as always and the food was brilliant. Thankyou guys!

Food turned up loaded with grease. Pancake roll was practically swimming in it. This place used to be good, but now its gone downhill.

Won't be ordering from here again. Was our favourite but what has happened??? Food was luke warm and less quantity than usual. Called to advise of our issues and was confronted with "you ate it so it could not have been that bad". Shocking attitude. Will never use them again.

Some of our order did not turn up. They sent it later and it tasted like washing up liquid. After going here for years we will not have it again.

Amazing consistent food always tell you if they are busy and going to be later than normal staff are very friendly highly recommend

Phoned 7 times and the lady hung up on each occasion as she was obviously flustered and too busy. Then told 15 to 20 minutes pick up, 40 minutes later was ready. Shocking experience and service.

Food was cold on collection as we had opened it straight away, we was charged a few pounds over what it should of came too as checked the menu, the curry sauce pot was covered in oil so it had to be wiped and the actual sauce inside had a thick layer of oil laying on top making the sauce float in it, THIS LOOKED REPULSIVE, chicken satay burned my mouth off considering it’s not meant to be full of chillis, the chicken wasn’t like normal chicken and just came apart into strings, hardly any rice in the tub, I will not be returning until they buck their ideas up.

Always enjoy the food, shame you put chilli in after we said no chilli.

Ordered a duck chow mein and salt and pepper king prawns. Food was bland, prawns were soggy in batter, now I remember why I didn't order from there again since the first time I moved here over a year ago :(

I ordered last night for the first time and had the special fried rice which was bursting with tons of chicken, pork, beef, prawns & vegetables (The best I’ve had) and chicken balls with sweet & sour sauce which again were lovely with big chunks of chicken. I will definitely use again!

Don't like the food as much as I did before, I think they have a new chef

I have been using this Chinese Takeaway every Friday for over 5 years and the food and service has been absolutely fantastic every week. The delivery times are on the button every time and the food tastes wonderful. I would recommend this Chinese Takeaway to everyone. Great Job guys!

We ordered £33 worth of food, we should've just thrown the money down a drain. The food was completely bland apart from the chicken satay which burnt the mouth off us? Satay isnt supposed to be filled with chillies. The beef had a crumbly texture and the ribs were really dry and chewy (even though they were in a sauce) We stopped ordering from here a bout a year ago because we were getting containers which were only half full but now, we won't be ordering from there again because the food is absolutey disgusting!!!

Good price, I ordered the Singapore noodles and chicken omelet. The food was good, and I can definitely say it's better than the local Asian restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the fried rice dishes and noodle dishes from here.

Worst chinese I've had. Chicken chow mein so dry and tasteless, not much chicken in it either. Curry was tasteless too. Not good at all and I usually love chinese food.

I just moved to Maidstone and saw Fat dragon on my travels. My food order was about £30- and I regret ever ordering from this restaurant. Firstly Thier food is not Chinese food and doesn't taste like Chinese food. Extremely bland, tasteless,no flavour and they should fire the chef in charge. If you are thinking of ordering from this place, please do not waste your money as it's is truly disappointing. This is the worse Chinese I have ever tasted in my entire 66 years of my life- and you can imagine I have had a lot of Chinese food in my lifetime. My sister is half Chinese and I truly know what I'm talking about-frankly I am very pissed off and wish I never layed eyes on Fat Dragon. Never order from this restaurant that calls themselves Chinese restaurant. It gets worse I literally had to throw up all my food. What a waste.

First time with Fat Dragon, really poor experience home delivery. Charged more than quoted on phone, Szechuan chicken was sent not Szechuan Prawn. Had to wait to eat while they sent another delivery to replace it but it was tasteless with thin watery sauce. Crispy beef wasn’t too bad. Didn’t eat the chicken & black bean, really bland boiled chicken, too greasy.. Ordered Singapore noodles, as we do most weeks. Instead of expected spicy vermicelli rice noodle with shrimp, pork, egg, veg got thick noodles with just mainly bits of fatty pork, no shrimp, egg etc. Told this is normal Singapore Noodles? Unlike all the other ones I’ve had for the last 30 years or so! Waste of £25 and a spoiled Saturday night.

Really enjoying good quality meals from here. Fresh, nicely cooked and fair portions. Fast delivery service and all round nice staff. Shredded Beef tonight was the best I have ever had as was the King Prawn curry.

We went to get our food there last night the food was a 5 star rating but the customer service was appouling u don't expect to pay for ur food and then be shouted at by the man who's passing it to u because u was taking to long waiting for ur pregnant misses with 6 weeks left to come back from the shop as I said I was satisfied with food but completely appouled with the man serving us our food it was completely unacceptable and I would not recommend this place if the customer service is going to carry on the way it is
