Mexigo in Maidstone

We went to the shop and picked up food to take away. There was some confusion with ordering but was resolved fairly quickly. We had the chicken tacos and they were delicious, I could easily have snaffled another portion and great value at £5.50 for 2 tacos. I'm looking forward to trying more from the menu.

Arrived cold. Not in an insulated bag which probably didn't help, and the item on the top the container was open so no wonder it was cold. Food itself was ok, wouldn't rush to order again but the delivery guy was really lovely.

They are actually decent but this last time the jalapeño poppers were fridge cold and looked bad. The burritos were cold. First time I am disappointed as I haven’t had a problem with my orders before. Please be more aware about what you send.

ordered then realised the footy was on, doh! so by the time food got to me it was cold, although the app said delivered 20 mins prior, called restaurant, no answer, delivery driver was having a mare. burger overcooked, but honestly if it wrrent for the football it would have been absolutely fine. will order again for sure, just not 20 mins before kick off lol

Ordered a take away for a specific time via their own website. I ordered so I’d get home from work and it’d arrive shortly after. It arrived as if I’d never selected a specific time. The mother in law took it in and it was freezing when I got home I called to complain and they said their website doesn’t let you order for a future time. Which is a lie. I asked to speak to a manager and was promised a call back, which never came. I called them again the following day and they said they’d call back again. Still waiting 3 weeks later. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible customer service.

Terrible, food was undercooked and cold, my chips where anemic raw and unedible, my quesadillas where just bread with a tiny bit of cheese and chorizo, pulled pork was dry not worth the £30 I paid, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

The owner is rude and sounded drunk on the phone food came 2 hours late and was weird bugs crawling around in the meat, shop should be shut down. Ignore my phone calls and refused to give money back

We got the lunch option, but the burritos were very bland and had no flavors. They weren’t generous with the sauce as well. Not worth it.

I went to collect the order and the restaurant was clean. The food looked and tasted fresh, veggie enchilada could have been a little more flavourful is my only comment. The chips were exceptional. The seasoning was slightly spicy and sweet - gorgeous. I liked how the sour cream and guacamole were put in pots separately so you could put what you like on. Will be ordering again

The burrito was amazingly generous but the risotto rice was not cooked sufficiently and was cold. You really need to watch for bacillous cereus bacteria on rice. Fortunately, no digestive issues thus far and the food was ultimately delicious

my delivery slot was between 21-05-21:25. I tried to call the restaurant at around 21:40 multiple times with no answer because it said in the app my food was delivered which it wasn't. I then through the app said my food wasn't delivered at 21:48. another 30 minutes goes by then the food turns up. Obviously stone cold because it had been out on delivery for an hour at this point. It was inedible cold and covered in grease it went straight into the bin and had to make food. What a waste of £70

Arrived late - items missing - waited an hour not to get a meal for whole family. Refunding missing food is fine but paying for take away is supposed to be so no one has to cook - ended up cooking and paying.

Horrific experience, my food took 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was all cold apart from the ice cream. The tacos came with no filling just three shells and some grated cheese, the nachos were soggy and cold like they may have been microwaved quite some time ago, horrible dry burrito which was also stone cold. I called the restaurant multiple times while we waited and no apology just excuses, we used to order from here regularly and I would often eat in but won’t bother again now.

Delivered 40 minutes late. The rice was not cooked, food was cold and crushed. The chumichunga was just a wrap and not fried. Not very good.

Don’t waste your time, I waited 2 hours for my food to show up after multiple phone calls to the restaurant all I heard was excuses and not an apology. When the food did turn up it was cold, the only thing that wasn’t cold was the ice cream we ordered. The tacos delivered were three shells, some grated cheese and jalapeños no filling, the burrito was crushed and beaten up, all the sauces had leaked in the bag.

Considering early delivery, the food was stone cold, had to re heat it all, I don't order takeaway food to have to reheat, pointlast having, Considering how dear its got .

Forgot drink, but food was delicious!

I told the chef that I didn't want any bread or rice but something healthy. He made me a bowl and it was perfect. Everything tasted fresh. I'm generally not a fan of burritos but it was great that you can customise with a smile and fairly priced. I would come back for this chicken bowl again for sure.

Made an order for three which took about two hours to arrive. When it did finally come the order was wrong. Phoned them to complain - no apology. Said they were very busy so replacement would probably take another age. Said we’d have to request a refund from the delivery app. Really didn’t seem to give a toss than one of us went without food after being kept waiting. The rest of the food was terrible and cold. Will not be using them again.

Usually this place is great but the last 2 times I've ordered, the Jack Daniels burger had no sauce and the extra sauce I ordered they just gave me bbq sauce. If you don't have the ingredients take it off the menu! Or at least call and ask if I still want a dry burger. Very poor actions.

I loved the Burrito however I did find rather too many kidney beans in them bit over run. The size of the burrito were phenomenal

Absolutely incredible food. I ordered the Chicken burrito and it's absolutely loaded with Chicken, Peppers and Beans. Come during Lunch as the prices are great for the lunch deal!

I used to really rave about here, but now it’s so hit and Miss. Burnt food, inedible roll as was solid as a rock. Also waited 1 hour 30 minutes for delivery which is ridiculous. Such ashame but I shall not be ordering anymore.

We used to order from Mexigo alot a few years back. Back then the portions were better as was the quality of food. They had by far the best onion rings but they changed so long ago which is a shame. By the way stop calling them Cajun onion rings as they aren't anymore and the house fries used to taste fantastic with the Cajun spices but now they are bland. At one point we stopped ordering when the burrito/Enchilada/chimichanga etc stopped coming with the rice and jalapeños. Tonight they seemed more back in form but I know they will never be as good as they were but tonight was still an improvement over what we have seen recently. Please keep this up as at one point I could have said you were the best Mexican food in Maidstone and it would be good to say that again.

Great value food, love a burrito, had the veggie option, they cooked vegetables especially for me, wiped down the food preparation surfaces and changed gloves, my husband had the pulled pork & he enjoyed that too. Would go there again.

Beef in the burrito was tough as old boots and didn’t taste fresh

Food is so bad, we were literally shocked how bad it is. No flavour at all, rice undercooked, beef dry.

I’ve had Mexigo before and their burritos are amazing. I literally devour them everytime. But their pulled pork taquitos are on another level. Like to the point I needed to write a review about them. Like toe curling. Thank you for your service, I will be raving on about them for the next 3 weeks.

Delivery came really fast - so the restaurant must’ve cooked it fast. Though it arrived cold, not even lukewarm. Flavour lovely but would be better if wrapped properly

Everything was cold when it eventually arrived. Chips tasted like they had sugar on them & not salt. Guacamole was bland. Not sure what happened to the rice it was almost crunchy!

Although the food was amazing and came on time, I requested vegetarian->vegan yet my chimichanga came with cheese. I am vegan so it is just preference to not have dairy so I just scraped it out once I realised, but if I was someone allergic to dairy/cheese or intolerant there could have been a big problem with me eating it. Please check your food deliveries properly in the future as this isn’t the first time I’ve been given cheese from here after requesting vegan.

Ordered it on just eat cam 30 Mins early. Got the big burrito and I’m not joking when I say I have a picture of the burrito and it’s bigger than my new born baby. Its by far the biggest burrito I’ve ever seen. Something off of a crazy internet video. It’s advertised as spicy which I don’t quite agree on an in general the flavor was decent. Not amazing but 100% good value for money. Not sure why everyone gave this place such bad reviews.

2 buritos ordered for me and girlfriend, only 1 arrives, driver said be back in half hour with the other meal. Nothing. Unreliable so never ordering again.

Had a takeaway. Was horrible. Had to chuck the prawns because they stunk of bad fish and the rest of it was just really poor. We had tapas and it was all bland or soggy. Really disappointed as this used to be a great takeaway. Wont order again.

Vile waste of money changed my order on Uber!!! Gave me stuff I didn’t want and the food was undercooked hard rice and wet slimy spicy disgusting brownies wrap filled with this slimy green weird tasting guacamole I have thrown it in the bin I just pray I can get a refund what low disgusting quality food

Have eaten here 4 or 5 times and usually get a takeaway, had a delivery last night and it was awful. All food cold, poorly packaged and extremely greasy.

Very surprised this place has a low rating. I really enjoyed the food from here. The Jack Daniels BBQ ribs were amazing. Just fell off the bone which is what I love and that dipped in the sauce was lovely! My boyfriend had the pulled pork taquitos and loved them also. Just overall decent food. Plus I didn't realise this was in Maidstone and they delivered to Snodland which isn't often for some places so that's definitely a bonus and will be ordering again or popping in whenever I'm in town 👍

This establishment used to be good, their food and the service. However, if you would like your food thrown together, with missing elements in the orders, then this is the place to go. If you call them, they either not bothered or purposely disconnect the call, and then don't answer calls at all. #Get Better.

Do NOT order here - don’t even be tempted 🤮 Chicken and rice is undercooked, burrito was microwaved, salad is watery, and churros are eggy tasting! Also service was awful - 2 hour delivery but we live a 5 minute walk away. I called to see how long it would be, and after it rang a few times , the owner ignored the calls. Don’t order - trust me 🤮🤮🤮🤧

When meat goes out off date my beuatifull butterfly, put it in the bin. Don't cook it and send it to me thinking that I won't notice. If you are willing to put people's health at risk you shouldn't be open. You have allready been reported. Good luck

Loaded skins were old meat in them hard and old. Chicken wings old port quality hard meat Chips with burger cold soggy and tasted awful. A waste of my money will not order from here again

Disgusting. Was told on the phone that they make salads first and before burritos etc and the salad has now made me feel sick. I asked for salad dressing on the side, it’s came drenched in dressing. The boy who answered the phone was vile. Implied that we have lied even tho I offered to send a photo. Please eat somewhere else, they can’t even make a salad. Worst service I have ever experienced.

Really bad experience. Started off being 30 minutes late meaning waiting nearly 2 hours. As we opened what we ordered to be vegan naked burrito, it was covered in sour cream so did not meet the dietary requirements requested. 3 other items were almost stone cold. Finally, The nachos were packed that all the paper from the lid of the packaging was stuck on a large potions of nachos, sour cream etc. so when taking the lid off it peeled half of the nacho toppings off leaving it inedible. Really would advise restaurants that aren’t equipped to deal with takeaways to not do them and give poor service.

Ordered from here a number of times now. Food is always great, arrives hot and well packaged. Tasty meals and decent portion sizes. Delivery is always prompt.

I’ve ordered from here lots of times but this time it was awful! The rice was bland. The chicken fajitas were disgusting, in what tasted like tin tomatoes sauce. The cheese that went with the fajitas was melted? Looked like it been under hot plate and melted into the tin tray. The sour cream I paid £1.50 extra for was a tea spoon amount and had split, I guess that too had been under the hot plates? Massively gone down hill and a total waste of money as it went into the bin.

Although the food arrived quickly, honestly for a place that solely sells Mexican food, I've never been so disappointed in the taste. There was literally no taste to any of my food just spice (and I like spice)! It was literally just burning my mouth and not getting any flavour from it. I'm sorry but I won't be ordering again.
