McDonald's in New Forest

Main Burger (Philly Cheese) was missing from delivery order. At over £8.50 for this meal to just receive chips and a drink is awful especially considering the partial refund they offer through the app is only around £2.30, a replacement of the burger in store would cost me over £7. the kids burgers had extras added like sandwich sauce and extra cheese and these were well cooked, not missing a single thing and arrived fresh which is usually the case from this store but not receiving the most expensive item from the whole order this time makes this particular McDonald’s one I won’t frequent nor order from again. (Ordered through McDonald’s app) 👎

20%refund for a £15 meal that was stone cold. No contact details to resolve it. Perfect example how not to runa business

Busy as half term even on Drive through. Staff busy but friendly and helpful.

Standard McDonald's - basic burgers with very little to recommend them, insipid chips that come across as boiled rather than fried. The food is cold as soon as it leaves the kitchen. It's McDonald's, kids love it, adults really should know better.

Great place ....friendly place. 2 gripes though.... about McDonald's not this branch... No decaf coffee Stopped Grimace Milkshakes .....they were lovely 😍 👌 👍....tasty and thirst quenching....

⅝ times bang on, otherwise it's; forget receipt, no greet, incorrect or no sauce, cold/cool fries, and of course the normal milkshake machine issues aha

Thank you to the lovely ladies who helped us make our train when we ordered porridge- not realising that it was the thing that took the longest to cook. Thursday 6th Feb @ 8:40!

Used the drive through no one spoke wen to the window was told to drive back round again...I won't be going back

Went in to McDonald’s the other day, forgot a whole meal! It’s not the first time, they need to sort out their system or get new managers because this is a piss take.

Staff at the drive through at Totton are always so friendly and helpful and food always tasty and hot

Just had my order delivered to the wrong address. Had to retrieve it myself while not well hence ordering my children's dinner to be delivered. Food just left on a doorstep rather than ringing a bell, which would have alerted the driver to being at the wrong house. Rang McDonald's who didn't want to know. Absolutely disgraceful service. Avoid Avoid!!

Rubbish service this morning in Totton drive thru. Was given someone elses order. Poor service. Would have given no stars but could'nt. The worst in Southampton

The kids were pleased with their chicken nugget meal. We went at peak lunchtime. Food served quickly and hot. There were pleased. Sorry that the ice cream/ milkshake machine out of service again.

Dirty, particularly toilets uncleaned, and stairway. Food was cold. Noisy outside with roadworks going on. So not a good experience this time.

Forever missing items off orders whether you go through drive thru or order online.

Very easy dinner after a long day. The service was really good and not too long a wait. People and food were good. It’s just getting a bit expensive now though.

The place was all dirty and full of rubbish everywhere. The staff was working like a zombie. Don't think I will go there again. Really really a bad choice.

Both drinks came almost half full, big macs overflowing with salad, no serviettes, however food tasted good overall.

I wanted at the drive through order machine so long I used the app while I was waiting to be served so slow especially when I was the only car there

Fast food restaurant understaffed clean and tidy for a quick bite and a drink

Ethan was absolutely brilliant when he handed me my order! He looked like he was genuinely enjoying working. Made my day better The food was very hot as well and tasted like it was fresh out the fryer, best maccies experience in Southampton!

Clean restaurant, the only downside is the exit, it can be tricky getting out of the car park.

Literally the most awful restaurant with brain dead staff. No matter how big or small the order is they will always miss items off, guaranteed. You’d have to be beyond dumb to struggle bagging up 5-7 items but these lot continue to turn up for work every day, making the same mistakes for years . Can’t cook fries or nuggets either…..always zero crunch and pale, beyond tragic. I would say out of 7 online orders over 3 years only 1 has been correct and hot.

This Macdonalds was clean and fast to make the items. No complaints.

Food was cold. Asked for no sauce in burger and they put it in there. They need to learn how to make a Burger and communicate. Staff don’t have a clue what they are doing. Overall not going to go to that one again.

This mcdonald’s is a disgrace. i ordered my food, at 18:05, i was sat waiting for 20 minutes, while my food was on the side. Note that my food is cold. When i asked to have my food that was SAT on the side, the worker dismissed me, and said i’ll “check” that in a minute, WHILE, my food was in her eye sight. I don’t not recommend this, AT ALL. I am disgraced and i will be contacting ronald mcdonald to have a word about how his not to so fast food restaurant is run!

Good customer service and helpful staff

Went in drive thru, from the staff taking the order to the staff giving my order. All very welcoming and friendly.

Food was amazing but they are so overpriced now, I really don't know how they can justify it.

A quick friendly service, one of the best

Popped in the drive through for 2 mcflurrys. Speedy service and polite staff. The gentleman at the pay counter was in training with another girl observing and helping him. He was getting on really well, lovely smile and friendly. My malteser mcflurry was lovely. And my partner enjoyed his smarties one.

Having ordered on the app (very simple and convenient) I entered the restaurant to collect my order. The server misread the order and thought it was eat-in rather than take-away, which was quickly rectified. When I got home the order was completely missing the burger! Waste of time going really On the plus side: the car park has lots of spaces, the interior of the restaurant was appealing and clean, and there's extra space upstairs which is fun for kids and gives more space in busy times. The entrance is wheelchair friendly. It is quite difficult turning out of the car park if you're turning right towards Totton though, as it's on a bend. Overall it was okay, but what food I was actually given wasn't that great, but I guess you get what you pay for

Absoloutely incapable of getting an order right, doesn't do anything about it if you confront them.

Tried ordering through the app trying 3 different cards and the app kept saying there was a problem and to go-to the tills. Went to the tills and spoke with someone explaining the situation asking if I could order via a member of staff and was told they couldn't help and to order through the app. Had my 3 and 6 year old with me at the time and left empty handed. After advising member of staff they weren't very helpful and I'd be feeding back they said fine shrugging their shoulders and walked off.

This is by far the slowest drive through ever. This seems to be the case every time. Avoid the drive through

Usually busy with slow service, I waited 20 minutes for food. No staff serving the counter. I think they get overwhelmed with app orders

Gill gave a fantastic service taking our order in the drive through, very engaging with the children and then Sascha handed us our food making sure we had what we ordered!! Great service

Bit of a weird restaurant. Downstairs is pretty much just the service desk with a few tables, then you mainly eat upstairs. This is tricky for disabled customers. There is a lift but if that breaks down they don't have many options. Food was ok, warm and fast.

Came here as they have a play area but it was shut off. Service was slow but it was a busy Saturday so was to be expected.

Simple coffee and fries order via drive thru. Cold fries and asked for a handful of sugar and got 1 🤣

Only 1 of the 4 screens to order working. Daft layout so that the corner to check the progress of your order is in the corner of the restaurant meaning everyone has to jostle to try to get a glimpse of the one screen. Very slow to process orders - 20mins+. Avoid.

I have just got home after ordering a takeaway of 2 double quarter pounder with cheese meals with 2 original cokes and no ice and a McCrispy meal with a Fanta. My quarter pounder burgers are singles and not doubles as I ordered. Very disappointed!!

Above average dining experience for a McDonald. Long wait time for a simple wrap and a coffee though.

Nice McDonald's in terms of layout/ decor. Food ok and reasonably priced as you'd expect. Nice they had kids fun bits out (tags and flags) for our little ones, lots of good seating options inside. Parking is the only tricky thing here!

Had nice stop while travelling nice clean not to busy, toilets very clean.

Great if you're happy to use the touchscreen and don't want to speak to anybody, poor if you want to pay by cash at the till. I was met with somebody with headphones on who seemed to be ordering her own breakfast and didn't look up for a good minute while I waited for her to greet me. Disappointing

Fast service and sizes are actually large as you order them. Good stuff!

Always just fails to deliver here. Milk shakes and Mcflurries often unavailable, and the service, in restaurant and drive through, is slow at best.

Sorry to say this place has gone downhill the last two visits have been disappointing with the burgers bordering on cold ,won't be going again

DONT BOTHER WITH DELIVERY! Have recently moved to the area. Have tried to give the benefit of the doubt a few times. And maybe once out of the 5 or 6 times that we've ordered have they got an order right. Once. You can't call them and uber want nothing to do with it. Don't even bother. I'm not expecting a gold standard dining experience from mcdonalds but getting what you ordered shouldn't have to be so much to ask. Uber also need to start checking their receipts on the bags, because what we received tonight wasn't even close to our order

Full of young kids misbehaving and making me feel unsafe. Also get feeling your order is much lower priority than the constant delivery orders taking up all the time and space

Whilst waiting for our order outside to come to the table, one of the workers named Poppy Mays gave us a dirty look while delivering someone their order and mumbled something under her breath towards our table. We ignored this and continued to eat/wait for our food. Later the manager came over to our table and told us to leave as we had been “harassing and swearing” at the worker (Poppy Mays). The manager then explained that the guy on the right facing away from her was harassing her! We were confused as we hadn’t interacted with that worker and thought he meant one of our friend that worked there. We asked the manager to speak to this colleague who was out side the whole time tidying the rubbish and he refused to and just told us to leave. Wouldn't go here unless you want to be kicked out for literally eating and talking to your mates about work.

Don't expect to order an mc flurry as the machine is either broken or cleaned and can't be used.
