Wait around 30min for Uber delivery not even check my order Never come again

We ordered a chocolate milkshake and they gave us a 5-10 minute old milkshake that was sitting on the side.... But that wasn't the worst part. We got a watered down strawberry milkshake. This is very poor customer service!!! After this we waited for another 5-10 minutes to give us a shake! At the end they said sorry but it wasn't for a particular reason. They should say sorry in a better way!!!

Food was cold, chips soggy and my burger looked like someone had sat on it! Definitely not the best

wrong order provided, very rude manager. Terrible service, complaint made. At the least customer service redeemed it by providing a refund and a free voucher. the young shift manager has much to learn in customer service.

Extremely rude, obnoxious staff at the window of the drive through and calling my daughter names. Then they put red hot sauce all over the burger. They very rarely have an icecream machine working. Definitely NOT to be recommended. Need Customer Service education.

Like all McDonalds bland service and food nothing like the photos and always short served portions on the fries but hey that's McDonalds anywhere.

I ordered mcdelivery breakfast at 10:30am. They have decided to cancel it 2 hours after I placed the order. I have tried phoning multiple times and now it says user busy. Disgusting and dissapointing.

Service poor last 4 drive through, orders wrong. Today order completely wrong no fries !! Went back and order replaced but still wrong despite asking if big mac was definitely plain - advised yes…. open it at home onions visible on burgers!!! Very poor service today🙄😡

Where to start, dips? Forget it even if you order and pay for them you don’t get them, fancy waiting 30mins plus for your fast food then this is the place for you. As far as I can tell the staff hate their jobs and hate the customers even more. Serving isn’t a thing here absolutely shocking.

I’m not surprise for all these comments with 1 star because here actually not deserving one star especially in delivery section 70% of the staff who working we ask nicely for delivery .and they easily turned their back and ignoring us and some of them is even being so rude tell us cancel the delivery and leave. Delivery driver or actually on behalf of the actual customer come to collect their delivery.

Always asks what sauce i want, never puts that sauce in the bag. Always slow service and always seems unable to cope with the number of customers. Chips are always soggy and flavourless

I visited on Friday to sample the McRib following its return. I waited for more than 20 minutes for my order, and the staff appeared to be quite disorganized. I've experienced quicker service at Nando's, which isn't even considered fast food. The McRib was disappointing, and the fries were unsalted. I wouldn't recommend this fast food restaurant to anyone.

Not my goto place but called in to get out of the traffic jam. Good QP with cheese.

Having trouble with my app on the phone, asked a member of staff who said the manager would be able to help but he was busy so after waiting 5 minutes I went to Tesco for a meal deal

Exactly what you expect always the same quality which is great so can't complain.

They messed up my order tried to give me orange juice instead of black coffee then would not change it so after waiting half an hour got my money back will never go back

Cold burgers, poorly packaged, served by a lady who was clearly ill with cold or flu. Or maybe on a comedown. McRib is awful and was swimming in bbq sauce. No salt on fries. Lucky to get a 2 star rating.

The service has definitely got better here. More attentive and no missed items from the drive thru

It took 50 min to prepare my order,cold cheese burger without cheese,they refused to give me my big fries which were on my order, absolutely awful

Second time that the Mac plant option has not been available. Queued ages just to be told this. Maybe a board stating when an item is not available at the start of the drive through would be a good idea Macdonalds 🤔 had to adapt my order and then spend 10 minutes waiting in a bay for cold food.

Came in as a delivery driver but staff just didn’t even care that myself and 3 other drivers were waiting to be seen, didn’t even acknowledge us.

Drive-thru was horrendous, I was directed to a bay that already had someone waiting in it, and had to park elsewhere to avoid blocking the drive thru. Food took a long time to be delivered by a staff members wandering the car park by which time it was cold. I have eaten inside, before and it is much better.

Food here is always correct and hot. And when you have to wait, the staff are very apologetic about it. Great customer service! If you compare this to other sites, this one comes out on top!

As is typical of hedge end McDonald’s. We use the app, sail through the windows and are made to wait in car park for an absolute age. Handed a large bag of food, and not until we are home do we notice we don’t have all of the food……absolute joke.

Never come here worse McDonald's ever I ordered my burger but then all the machines broke down some lady was telling us to calm down but then she got out of there I finally got my burger the meat in the burger wasn't even touching the bun so I moved it I got my hands really saucey don't go here

Nice spacious McDonalds outlet to dine in at Hedge End with ample car parking and with Drive-in option as well. Quick service and staff is polite and helpful

Grubby guy returned a drink that he had drunk from, they stuck a different lid on it and gave it out. Would have let my daughter have a few sips but luckily I was paying attention. Disgusting business and disgusting workers

Placed an order on the screen and went to the counter to let them now the ice cream I would pick up later after we eat our meals to avoid melt down. The manager said that was not possible it will be the same ice cream. It seems training its not coming through this franchise I do that on any other country.

My problem with this McDonald's branch is that they so frequently get the order wrong. I seriously can't recommend ordering for delivery since I don't think they have ever got the order right. We aren't talking about forgetting to put the curry sauce in, we're talking whole meals missing. It's very busy, crowded and waits can be long. The queue for the drive through can be very long, causing traffic chaos at times. In my opinion they have taken on more than they can manage with the restaurant, drive through and delivery demands. Sometimes I wonder why they don't just stop taking any new orders whilst they are overwhelmed. I think we need a second branch this side of the city to absorb some of the demand. Despite all that I've never had a problem with the staff. I'm surprised they stay so calm and pleasant whilst rushed off their feet. Just an update. My son and his friends ordered a breakfast for delivery against my advice. One of the meals did not arrive. So predictably unreliable!

As per usual a rubbish McDonald's visit food always cold can't remember the last time the service was great, um yes I do before all the delivery orders get priority over the waiting customer, such a shame 😞

One of the worst branches around. Spend 20 minutes going through the drive thru just to be told to park in the car park and be ignored. Staff are ignorant, managers are useless and the slowest service you will find In total today I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and 10 minutes in the car park and still no food. Got a refund and went to Burger King instead Won’t be using hedge end again I would rather starve 👎

Half the order missing and took nearly 1 hour to arrive

Always out of stock,.always mess.up your order. Always closing the drive thru. Always let you order on app and drive thru to be told.the system is down. Absoloute joke of a restaurant.

It's in a super busy retail park area and is a large McDonalds. There is a variety of seating inside, tables and chairs, booths, bar height tables and stools and plenty of outdoor seating. There is enough (not plenty) of parking the bays are a bit tight for larger cars (family size and up). The drive-thru is very busy and if (like us) you're going to eat-in, be careful crossing from the parking bays to the entrance. Inside the premises were nowhere near to capacity, in fact there were less than 40 people (mostly already sat). 4 people in a queue had ordered before us. As we all know the auto-point ordering system at McDonalds is very easy to use and convenient. However, despite the low number of customers ahead of us and what seemed a small army of staff, the wait for our meals was 15 minutes. When ushered forward to collect the order, it hadn't actually been put together. In seating ourselves at a booth, the entire area we had chosen to sit in had many tables with empty cups, trays, food containers on, chips on tables etc ... of course this is a customer caused problem (in this case it was several tables of mostly early-teens youngsters). However, inspite of the small-army of staff ... only one was clearing tables. Food luke warm. A very large McDonalds in a very, very busy area. They probably don't need to work hard to maintain a high level of sales (we observed mostly drive-thru) ... and so they don't in the restaurant. Disappointing.

I got 19 nuggets when i ordered 20. Bet one of the workers got hungry and thought i'd not notice. Nah I count them and i count them EVERY TIME because integrity is such an important thing to me. thanks anyway, doing my cholesterol a favour i guess

Deliveroo - not the restuarant - are absolutely crap. Everything turns up cold, twice we've done this and its awful & we only live 2 miles away. McDonalds needs to get rid of them.

I stopped by as I was getting van battery replaced at Halfords. Ordered a Mac muffin & coffee. Asked for some brown sauce and was told its on a scroll down menu which I should have ticked. So asked if they could pop a drop in the bun. No cannot do that once its made. So asked for a tear open jobbie that will cost extra they said. Literally wore me down with no no no. These places are a joke next time go to your local cafe and spend your money where its appreciated. Hate these rubbish can not do attitudes that seem standard now and from the 21 year old looking manager too. Was like talking to a robot

It's a McDonald's; what do you expect? Though quite often it's quicker to drive to the next McDonald's in Southampton and go through their drive-through

Ordered through the McDonald's app. Waited 1 and a half hours for delivery with hungry kids waiting. Order was missing 6 chicken nuggets, wrong dips provided and kids happy meal toy instead of requested book. Medium fries came in a half empty box. Tried to ring the restaurant and they don't ever answer the phone. I've lost money because they didn't check the order. £30 on McDonald's and they haven't provided everything that was asked for and no support through the McDonald's app. Will not be ordering again and will not recommend to anyone. I want a refund for my missing items!

Just ordered 4 quarter pounders and 4 chips on mc delivery through my mc Donald's app, I ordered through this app as I didn't want ubber delivery as I always have a problem with missing items food all squashed but it still arrived by ubber time went from delivery by 12:30 to 12: 50 as he had other stops to make so my food was sat in his car for over half an hour when I received it the food was beyond cold that even the chips had gone hard contact ubber who told me that it was delivered in time so rang up mc Donald's where I purchase it from who told me to contact ubber Ubber should be banned there customer service is a joke and as for McDonald's shame on you

Majority of the order including all the drinks were missing, the food we did receive was cold, drove to the restaurant for the food as the order was for my children only to be told to take it up with just eat! Had to pay again for the order!

As a delivery driver this is the worst place to collect food for customers in the evening, they have barely any staff, and it can take at least an hour to pickup an order

We went to mcdonald's tired and hungry after playing a gig at Victorious festival. We got there and there was a bit of a queue. We never expected to be in that small queue for 50mins. I could have cooked for a family of 4 the time it took this FAST FOOD to be ready. People were beeping and getting so angry as once your in the queue you cant get out. By the time we got the food we were all so tired and didn't even want the food anymore we just wanted to go to bed. Didn't receive 1 apology from any member of staff for the ridiculous wait!! Even after waiting soooo long the burgers were thrown together. I don't normally complain or leave reviews, but this was honestly absolutely ridiculous. Ronald would be ashamed!!!

Delivery time said 25-30 mins, but took over an hour to be delivered. Food was cold, mc flurry completely melted.

They make cooking fries look really hard! Useless service, slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. We just ordered 2 double big mac meals, did the drive thru but got sent to the car park to wait, waited 30 minutes for cold food whilst they had employees wandering around the car park trying to find cars and deliver meals, never seen anything like it.

Once again from McDonald's breakfast orders are cold. It's like the staff really don't care what standard of food they are giving out, hash browns stone cold and like cardboard, porridge was stone cold, sausage and egg contents all over the place not even in the bun.

Much needed breakfast stop after a long drive and overnight ferry. Hash browns, crumpet and pancakes were divine.

Worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. Messed up the order through the drive-thru, then instructed us to wait at the second window whilst it was sorted out but no one was there, eventually after five minutes we had to park up in the car park and go inside. They had charged everything wrong on the receipt and there was “nothing they could do”. Absolute shambles.

Staff is really unreasonable, they don't have the time to listen, they are always busy with chit chat. Need the urgent improvement

Ordered off Deliveroo, 3/4 of order not there, tried to phone hedgend store, nobody answered

Long wait times, cold unappealing food. Poor table service from grumpy staff. Tables not cleared and bin area a mess with flies indoors.

Ordered 1 double big mac meal and 2 happy meals all with drinks, took over an hour food was cold and all 3 drinks were missing from delivery and dont never answer phone when call.

This is now the 2nd time that despite being classified as 24 hours, the restaurant has not been open. Alongside this, Google states the drive thru is closed early, but the restaurant is open. This was the other way round last time I successfully was able to order (which has only been once the last 3 visits - over a course of 2 months or so) If a franchise is labelled 24 hour - you'd expect it to be 24 hour. Either improve staffing or change your operating hours.

I’m vegetarian, I requested a cheeseburger with no meat patty, the sticker stated no meat, however they still proceeded to put meat in. Unfortunately I was home by the time I realised, and very disappointed.

I ordered breakfast options. Unfortunately their hot drink machine was not working but there were no warning signs at all. You will be told when you are collecting your order. My hot chocolate was replaced with a cold. Handmade late. I had to waste it as it was tasting horrible.

They have loads of staff and still can’t get it right and the manageress with ginger hair and glasses is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

The coffee was bland and watery, and it got worse the more I drank. By far the worst I have had in any McDonald's anywhere. Mind you, all other McDonald's have been in Australia. I am not quick to put Australia ahead of the UK but the English may well have something to learn when it comes to making coffee.

Hedge end McDonald's is busy and suffers from the barrage of various eats orders and a constant flow of customers which I can forgive. Today August 3rd pm the Shift manager lied to my face and smirked as he did it. Over such a simple thing as well. The man on the drive through till said I could have white chocolate with the munchies sauce as the sauce for the white chocolate had ran out. The man at the service counter when collecting was told he wasn't allowed to do it. The interaction with Shift Manager: New the situation as he had already stopped his staff member but handed me the standard flurries with a hurried "I heard that you wanted to speak to me." I said you know that we have asked for them with the white chocolate bits. "We can't do that" already knowing that he had stopped others it was clear that he could make that decision (good customer service). I maintained that he could as it was clear from both previous interactions that it was just sauce out of stock. The manger decided to feed off that and then lied saying that there was no white chocolate...that's why. Knowing that it was going no where and that the manager seemingly lied and lacked integrity I accepted the order...in his self congratulating rush away he then realised that he had forgotten to give me the rest of the order but couldn't get away quick enough. There was no sympathy or open ended questions....or dealing with it professionally for instance, sorry if you have been promised something we can't deliver, what would you like us to do? Would you like another flavour? Let's hope this is an isolated interaction not the training or culture that you are developing in this unit.
