We ordered a chocolate milkshake and they gave us a 5-10 minute old milkshake that was sitting on the side.... But that wasn't the worst part. We got a watered down strawberry milkshake. This is very poor customer service!!! After this we waited for another 5-10 minutes to give us a shake! At the end they said sorry but it wasn't for a particular reason. They should say sorry in a better way!!!

I’m not surprise for all these comments with 1 star because here actually not deserving one star especially in delivery section 70% of the staff who working we ask nicely for delivery .and they easily turned their back and ignoring us and some of them is even being so rude tell us cancel the delivery and leave. I visited on Friday to sample the McRib following its return. I waited for more than 20 minutes for my order, and the staff appeared to be quite disorganized. I've experienced quicker service at Nando's, which isn't even considered fast food. The McRib was disappointing, and the fries were unsalted. I wouldn't recommend this fast food restaurant to anyone.

Second time that the Mac plant option has not been available. Queued ages just to be told this. Maybe a board stating when an item is not available at the start of the drive through would be a good idea Macdonalds 🤔 had to adapt my order and then spend 10 minutes waiting in a bay for cold food.

Drive-thru was horrendous, I was directed to a bay that already had someone waiting in it, and had to park elsewhere to avoid blocking the drive thru. Food took a long time to be delivered by a staff members wandering the car park by which time it was cold. I have eaten inside, before and it is much better.

As is typical of hedge end McDonald’s. We use the app, sail through the windows and are made to wait in car park for an absolute age. Handed a large bag of food, and not until we are home do we notice we don’t have all of the food……absolute joke.

My problem with this McDonald's branch is that they so frequently get the order wrong. I seriously can't recommend ordering for delivery since I don't think they have ever got the order right. We aren't talking about forgetting to put the curry sauce in, we're talking whole meals missing. It's very busy, crowded and waits can be long. The queue for the drive through can be very long, causing traffic chaos at times. In my opinion they have taken on more than they can manage with the restaurant, drive through and delivery demands. Sometimes I wonder why they don't just stop taking any new orders whilst they are overwhelmed. I think we need a second branch this side of the city to absorb some of the demand. Despite all that I've never had a problem with the staff. I'm surprised they stay so calm and pleasant whilst rushed off their feet. Just an update. My son and his friends ordered a breakfast for delivery against my advice. One of the meals did not arrive. So predictably unreliable!

One of the worst branches around. Spend 20 minutes going through the drive thru just to be told to park in the car park and be ignored. Staff are ignorant, managers are useless and the slowest service you will find In total today I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and 10 minutes in the car park and still no food. Got a refund and went to Burger King instead Won’t be using hedge end again I would rather starve 👎

It's in a super busy retail park area and is a large McDonalds. There is a variety of seating inside, tables and chairs, booths, bar height tables and stools and plenty of outdoor seating. There is enough (not plenty) of parking the bays are a bit tight for larger cars (family size and up). The drive-thru is very busy and if (like us) you're going to eat-in, be careful crossing from the parking bays to the entrance. Inside the premises were nowhere near to capacity, in fact there were less than 40 people (mostly already sat). 4 people in a queue had ordered before us. As we all know the auto-point ordering system at McDonalds is very easy to use and convenient. However, despite the low number of customers ahead of us and what seemed a small army of staff, the wait for our meals was 15 minutes. When ushered forward to collect the order, it hadn't actually been put together. In seating ourselves at a booth, the entire area we had chosen to sit in had many tables with empty cups, trays, food containers on, chips on tables etc ... of course this is a customer caused problem (in this case it was several tables of mostly early-teens youngsters). However, inspite of the small-army of staff ... only one was clearing tables. Food luke warm. A very large McDonalds in a very, very busy area. They probably don't need to work hard to maintain a high level of sales (we observed mostly drive-thru) ... and so they don't in the restaurant. Disappointing.

I stopped by as I was getting van battery replaced at Halfords. Ordered a Mac muffin & coffee. Asked for some brown sauce and was told its on a scroll down menu which I should have ticked. So asked if they could pop a drop in the bun. No cannot do that once its made. So asked for a tear open jobbie that will cost extra they said. Literally wore me down with no no no. These places are a joke next time go to your local cafe and spend your money where its appreciated. Just ordered 4 quarter pounders and 4 chips on mc delivery through my mc Donald's app, I ordered through this app as I didn't want ubber delivery as I always have a problem with missing items food all squashed but it still arrived by ubber time went from delivery by 12:30 to 12: 50 as he had other stops to make so my food was sat in his car for over half an hour when I received it the food was beyond cold that even the chips had gone hard contact ubber who told me that it was delivered in time so rang up mc Donald's where I purchase it from who told me to contact ubber Ubber should be banned there customer service is a joke and as for McDonald's shame on you

We went to mcdonald's tired and hungry after playing a gig at Victorious festival. We got there and there was a bit of a queue. We never expected to be in that small queue for 50mins. I could have cooked for a family of 4 the time it took this FAST FOOD to be ready. People were beeping and getting so angry as once your in the queue you cant get out. By the time we got the food we were all so tired and didn't even want the food anymore we just wanted to go to bed. Didn't receive 1 apology from any member of staff for the ridiculous wait!! Even after waiting soooo long the burgers were thrown together. I don't normally complain or leave reviews, but this was honestly absolutely ridiculous. Ronald would be ashamed!!!

This is now the 2nd time that despite being classified as 24 hours, the restaurant has not been open. Alongside this, Google states the drive thru is closed early, but the restaurant is open. This was the other way round last time I successfully was able to order (which has only been once the last 3 visits - over a course of 2 months or so) If a franchise is labelled 24 hour - you'd expect it to be 24 hour. Either improve staffing or change your operating hours.

Hedge end McDonald's is busy and suffers from the barrage of various eats orders and a constant flow of customers which I can forgive. Today August 3rd pm the Shift manager lied to my face and smirked as he did it. Over such a simple thing as well. The man on the drive through till said I could have white chocolate with the munchies sauce as the sauce for the white chocolate had ran out. The man at the service counter when collecting was told he wasn't allowed to do it. The interaction with Shift Manager: New the situation as he had already stopped his staff member but handed me the standard flurries with a hurried "I heard that you wanted to speak to me." I said you know that we have asked for them with the white chocolate bits. "We can't do that" already knowing that he had stopped others it was clear that he could make that decision (good customer service). I maintained that he could as it was clear from both previous interactions that it was just sauce out of stock. The manger decided to feed off that and then lied saying that there was no white chocolate...that's why. Knowing that it was going no where and that the manager seemingly lied and lacked integrity I accepted the order...in his self congratulating rush away he then realised that he had forgotten to give me the rest of the order but couldn't get away quick enough. There was no sympathy or open ended questions....or dealing with it professionally for instance, sorry if you have been promised something we can't deliver, what would you like us to do? Would you like another flavour? Let's hope this is an isolated interaction not the training or culture that you are developing in this unit.

My husband and I booked for lunch, he had The Home run burger and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and I had the crispy chicken sandwich and apple and berry crumble for dessert. The girls behind the bar were well presented, friendly and cheerful. We ordered our drinks and food together, it arrived in no time at all, it was plated nicely and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chips and onion rings were hot and crispy, not greasy at all. The desserts were also piping hot, and totally scrumptious. Sheila was our server today, she so warm and welcoming, really friendly but also professional in her approach. A credit to the company. We can’t wait to return.
