McDonald's in Cherwell

Quick and easy, not a fan of fast food but when needs must and all that. Visited again and pretty much the same experience.

I had bad experience literally today no one at counter i ordered two crispy deluxe premium meal with hot chocolate and hot chocolate was like hot water I asked again for change my drink i told them it’s like water but she gave me again same type of hot chocolate like hot water… and chips was cold… i saw inside of kitchen all many crew was talking to each other but no one came from them..careless people I’ll never visit again

Popped in last night on my way home from Oxford. I just want to point out, the foot was of a good standard....however.... Customer service was non existent, the young lass in the drive through could not have cared about serving me my order, when handing over both drink and food she did not make any eye contact and didn't even speak to me or acknowledge I was there, she was far too busy have a chin wag with her colleague in the back round about their weekend plans. I'm not one to moan, but I would highly recommend that she looks into what's required for a customer facing job that deals directly with customers all day long. I have been fair with 3 stars but I feel the rudeness of the young girl serving has let the team down.

Came in after the fireworks and it was SO BUSY! I don't know if that's just what a Saturday is for here but Jade was absolutely on it all night - she was so helpful to customers and staff, absolute legend!!

Food tasted good, and was hot but had to wait almost 10 minutes after ordering at the drive thru fir the food to be ready, and after we left found they had got the order wrong!

Such a terrible franchise location. I’ve been on multiple occasions. Every - single - time - we’ve got home to find missing items. Every time. Tonight, no fries. Last time, forgot to put the burgers in the bag… it’s a burger restaurant. It’s just bad. Not sure who is managing this location but I hope their boss reads this and gives everybody better training. So disappointing.

Possibly the slowest McDonald I've ever been to. Staff were at a snails pace at best. Far more interest in serving the deliveroo etc.. than customers. Pretty crap really

I had a really terrible experience at this McDonald's. I know you might not care about others' opinions, but I think it's important to share my experience today. When I ordered food from the machine, a large part of the menu wasn't available. After placing my order, I waited almost 20 minutes to receive our food, which was ice cold. It was practically inedible. They also shorted us one burger, and the three 7-Up drinks tasted like plain soda. What were you doing during the 20-minute wait? I could see the staff in the kitchen laughing and joking around—were they working or on vacation? Even more shocking, I witnessed an employee digging a chicken patty out of the waste bin and heading back to the kitchen. I couldn’t see what he was doing, but why would he do that? Is he putting it on another customer’s burger? I will never come back to this McDonald's. It was a disaster.

Every time I order something is missing or something is not what I ordered so annoying

The food was rubbish it and wait was to long the McMuffin was rubbish it look like they just taken the egg out, the atmosphere is good as they was lots of thing for kids

Food is normally good it's the speed of the drive through it does qué up and they sometimes forget your there I'm sure

ordered 9 chicken nugget meal large and only received my chips and drink no nuggets

Why do they need to give you half a cup of drink... It costs them pennies so why do they feel the need to scam you even more? The prices are crazy as it is!

order was missing drinks and the order was wrong anyway when my wife ask the driver about it he was rude and started raising his voice to her so I went the door and told him where to go and shut the door for him to start swearing at me. he was lucky to walk away with his teeth

I waited an hour and 20 minutes for my order it was the wrong one and freezing cold

Just waited 20 minutes for food at McDonalds drive thru. told us it would be quick, and I was able to trust it to get food go home and go to a meeting. However the 20 minute wait ended up ruining the night ahead. No dinner, later arrival home, and missed meeting.

It's a McDonald's, warm burger and fries and a milkshake you have to use 2 straws as they disintegrate.

Mcdonald’s didn’t include the dips yet again. Dry nuggets are awful. Nuggets were cold. Chips were undercooked and cold

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO EAT THE SAME DAY! Only one star as zero isn't possible. Ordered online, it was accepted instantly and was initially going to take 40 minutes to arrive. Not a quick delivery time but not the end of the world. An hour and a half later, the food is still being prepared with the delivery time being pushed back again and again. McDonald's isn't anything special but 2 hours to fry a couple of burgers and some Chicken is beyond ridiculous. Again do not order from this restaurant! Update.... 30 minutes later the restaurant simply cancelled the order.

Half the order wasn’t delivered and just eat won’t refund. My orders are always missing food or drinks.

My food came cold as well as my hot chocolate being spilt all in the bag. I’m suprised the man didn’t say the rest of it was in his car seat. Really unhappy with how this has been delivered will stick to another delivery company

Typical McDonald's really. Busy, no receipts on self service machine so be ready to take a photo of your order number before it disappears.

I don’t understand how this place is 24/7 and has cones blocking the drive through all the time. You could come at 1:30am or 6am they’ll have the cones up for no reason. If you’re gonna be closed at least put a sign that says closed! Instead of putting cones while the entire inside is lit up and there’s clearly employees cars in the parking lot. It’s so annoying to drive to the TWENTY FOUR SEVEN MCDONALD’S AND ITS CLOSED

Good restaurant but mistakes and missing food from the order happening very often here. Check your order before leave drive tru.

Just do not order Mcdelivery from this mcdonalds. Every single time I have ordered they always forget 1 or 2 items (usually the most expensive) and it just feels so bad to have that happen consistently. If you are going, go in person so you can call them out when they forget half your order.

Food took ages to arrive and the staff seem to be prioritising the drive through. My food went to a customer on drive through - the guy carried it out with my order number on it! I pointed it out but he refused to listen and was very rude and unfriendly. I asked another member of staff who then got another meal put together for me. This was then missing items from my order. Went back again and was greeted with more bad service and a really bad attitude. I pointed this out at the time and was just ignored. The food from this restaurant has gone down hill a lot - it’s often cold or tastes like it’s been sat out for ages. The fizzy drinks are nearly always flat and the staff don’t seem to recognise this until pointed out. Some of the staff clearly don’t want to be there and offer very poor service. McDonald’s - you can do better. Spend more time to train your staff and if necessary put more supervision put in place to help coach on customer service and process. We've had 4 bad experiences with this restaurant in as many months. At this rate we won’t be going back.

Never got my order, been waiting for 20 minutes. My order once was still being prepared, and then I was told it was already collected because it had disappeared from the screen. Maybe you shouldn't take it off the screen if you can't remember after. Thanks for giving me the look like I was trying to snatch a free meal and keeping me in shape. You won't see me again

At mcdonalds at 3am, it's supposedly 24hrs and there are cones on the drive thru and they won't let anybody order food

Missing items and food was cold

App constantly saying restaurant preparing order. Then saying courier was at restaurant for 30 minutes. Then when order arrived the drinks were not what I ordered.

Ordered only ketchup cheese burger & it contained onions. Ordered a triple recently and got given a double…. Don’t waste your money people as they will not give it you back!!!

Wrong items delivered yet again

Sadly we were missing part of our order but we were also missing our receipt which I believe was probably on the bag we weren't given.

Here for the food. The two people in payment window on the 4th sept about 6pm were messing around and it delayed the whole drive thru. Food was ready when I eventually reached the last window but the food was stale and of poor quality by the time I got home (less than five minutes drive)

Chips for all meals were missing and dips no answer from the restaurant when I rang. No good enough service.

I recently visited McDonald's and ordered a hamburger. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. The patties were quite dry and seemed to be overcooked. This affected the overall taste, and the burger wasn't as juicy as I had expected. I hope this was just a one-time issue, and the quality will be better in the future.

Was missing food from the squad deal

Chips were cold and soggy. Never had anything like it. None of the three dips I ordered turned up. Pie was cold and burger was very tired.

I have certain allergies that are not 'mainstream' allergies, so when I asked what the ingredients were of some of the food/dips the answer was "ooh I'm not sure I'll see if I can find out - I got jabbed an allergy leaflet, which did not contain the ingredients, just some allergens (not the ones I'd specifically asked about) turns out it was written on the dip and contained what I could not eat. I thought after this I would give the food a miss too just incase. Also only one working toilet (although it was late evening) they had the upstairs closed off with other toilets up there, so there was queues for the one downstairs toilet

Be careful when you eat from there ordered food on 23.07 and end up in Emergency poisoned with salmonella...BE VERY CAREFUL IM STILL WAITING FOR THE MANAGER TO CONTACT ME AS IT WAS INSTRUCTED BY DELIVEROO

A unique experience at McDonald's! The place is clean and comfortable, with an atmosphere suitable for families and friends. The service is fast and efficient, and the staff is friendly and attentive to detail. The food is delicious and of excellent quality, worth a visit!

I only use the drive through. Service can sometimes be slow due to the queue of cars but the staff are always friendly. Sometimes the food is Luke warm, and they often don't have some items.
