McDonald's in Milton Keynes

I've never seen anybody use a touch screen in a McDonald's and then wash their hands before eating their food. Regarding this one specifically, if you don't mind being in a 10 minute queue behind a dozen or so Uber Eats etc delivery drivers collecting food so it can be delivered, cold and overpriced, to lazy stoners, then this is the place for you. If you're really lucky you can watch questionable parents feeding McNuggets to 6 month old toddlers.

Decent. It isn't the busiest in town. Good service

Still NO drinks with milk…it must be weeks now…no excuses, you need to provide Service…my Friends and I don’t go there now, so frustrating!

Awful drive through service, sat for 5 minutes whilst the other queue was served, no communication on my side. Left without food and won’t return.

Ordered kids meal with no onion or topping on burger came with toppings my burger over cooked very little parking

Consistently slow. Uninterested staff and one of the worst McDonalds I've been too. It doesn't matter what time you go, the food has always been luke warm or dry and you are left waiting for 20/30 minutes at a time and treated like an inconvenience when you are finally engaged with.

Use this McDonalds for drive through every kw and then. Rarely warm but we never ever get correct the order. Missing items are frequent, so check before you leave. Even if you check, today after ordering a McSpicy ended up with a McChicken sandwich in a McSpicy box. McDonald’s are more interested in Deliveroo orders than serving their customer who visit. Best eat in so you can show them how poor they are these days.

App doesn't work outside so you can't do drive through, WiFi is dire nearly usable inside and non existent outside (which is probably why the app doesn't work. Also yet again.. I am ordering tea.. why on earth do I have to adl for milk and sugar it should be offered!

I ordered easy on on screen but no ticket came out after paying. No problem a member of staff was very helpful and printed one out for me.

Ordered two Happy Meals for the kids. Instead of a toy had fries stuffed in the toy box.

Waiting 25 minutes on a poridge, it wasn't even busy, was late to work because of it. It's called FAST FOOD for a reason, not SLOW FOOD!

Food was usual MacD food and it was good. People were great, just the service was slow to accept the order at the counter even after it was pre-ordered by the app beforehand

We placed an order for 9 people and we were missing juice, water and mozzarella sticks, which we never received, but we had paid for.

Last night I ordered McDonald’s and I live 3min walk from there.the order came incomplete and made without care I ate that and it gave me food poisoning and it’s not the first time this restaurant has been like this and now I’m taking this far more above this place is serving life threatening food and poisoning people. This place is going down

OMG... went drive through, man didn't know orange Fanta from orange juice. Asked to pull up in waiting bay. Four other cars after us got their food before us. Then dude comes out to hand us our food only to be someone else's order. So I follow him back in to get food myself, only to find order wrong. Finally, get food (order correct). Drive off and discover NO barbecue sauces. SMDH 👇👇👇

Food is sometimes a bit hit and miss but staff are always helpful and friendly

Good McDonald's located near the City Centre. Been going for years here but always check your order before you drive away. We had adjustments to our meal and on one of them they forgot the part NO mayo. Otherwise good portion sizes food was still warm when we got home and nicely salted French fries that were not soggy like some McDs. Overall one if the best McDonald's however lost a star as mayo in the chicken burger so one of our eaters went hungry as they are allergic.

This McDonald’s branch is the biggest joke ever avoid like the plague, every single time whole meals are managed to be missed off the order and things wrong, food is always stale or soggy absolutely shocking, you put an order in with uber eats for delivery only get half your order so can’t provide a meal to everyone you ordered for and then uber give back a pathetic percentage which does not make up for the lack of food issue you’re now stuck with or the high end charges and delivery you have paid already, I just don’t understand how the staff here can continuously get it so wrong all of the time!!! Surely it’s idiot proof to follow a list and add to a bag!!

McDonald’s delivers on convenience and consistency. It’s a reliable option when you're craving fast food. Great for a quick bite, but not the place for a gourmet meal.

Nice staff, most of the time yiur order is ready in good time but due to its location, on shopping days and match days it can be EXTREMELY BUSY !. so if you don't mind crowds then you'll enjoy your meal at this restaurant.

Everytime I come here they mess up my order. Either fries are missing or they charge me for a medium despite constantly asking for a large. If you complain they ask you to charge more despite them being in the wrong. Fed up

5 minutes for a drinks order and watching one of the staff slip all his mates extras doesn't change my mind.

Used the drive-through, bit of a queue even at 11 am, but hoot was hot and as expected.

Very busy restaurant, can be rather busy on event days, parking can be an issue due to limited bays during busy times, food can be missed or unpresentable

Herbet the manager was rude and refused me my food… me and my partner went through the drive threw on Sunday afternoon and ordered the new spicy double cheeseburger and normal cheese burger and a sprite, when we got to the first window we paid and I had a notification on my phone that this payment had gone through, when we got to the window to collect the food we was told that the payment didn’t go through and we need to pay again, I advised that the payment come out my bank and showed him and another member of staff the transaction on my bank, he didn’t believe me and still refused me my food untill I paid again because he said it’s going to bounce back into my bank account and this happens all the time. I told him not to worry about the food because I’m not paying for it again, lucky I didn’t because fast forward it’s now Thursday and the payment has been settled so I paid and didn’t receive my food. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Food was so cold double charged me for my order tea was cold by the time i drank it and wasnt hot enough when i received it i went through drive through had to park up and go inside the restaurant to get milk I didn't receive in my order and tell them they double charged me . What has happened to mcdonald's it's gone down hill over the years, poor service,inadequate food .

Didn’t imagine that I will write something on these lines, let alone a review for McD. We were always happy with Elder Gate branch and it’s our go-to. Lately, they have been utterly disappointing. Twice now incorrect food was given at the drive-thru, which was discovered as wrong meat after going home. There’s no remorse to the inconvenience either from the staff. When called, I only discovered it’s under different management, not McD direct which sums up the bog standard customer service. Safely avoid this branch. Having said that, as a consolation, I spoke with a manager called Tony, who was better than the other two appalling ones.

They got my order wrong they gave me the McCrispy instead they gave one of my members of my family a Big Mac with no onions no lettuce and no extra pickles but got the customised Big Mac wrong so basically t be honest I would not want to eat there again

I am a big McDonald’s fan me and my family enjoy dining with McDonald’s for plenty years I’ve never received the worst customer service of my life considering it’s a fast food restaurant where customer service skills are key, First of all got over charged for my order I was so in shock I received less items then I payed for the food was so cold that the chips was rock hard I don’t advice my football enemy to eat hear this is the lowest quality food and service I’ve ever received

2 weeks ago I was charged twice for a sweet chilli chicken wrap. The payment was taken the first time and I saw a notification come from my bank saying the payment was successful. The operative then told me the payment hadn’t gone through and went as far as getting the manager to pressure me into paying the second time. Now I’ve just been back and ordered the chicken nugget/select share box and pulled it out the bag only for the bottom to collapse and drop it all over the floor. Quarter pounder also looked like it had been thrown against the wall. Our food had also been left on the side for at least 10 mins and we all know what old McDonald’s is like. £15+ wasted. Out of all McDonald’s, this is by far the worst in Milton Keynes. Step it up.

Worst manager female on shift, rude , racists and disrespectful. Worst service ever . Drive thru - ordered food no one replied, drove around told me to go back around to reorder and wouldn’t ask the 3 cars infront of me to wait at the bay so I go around. Absolute shambles of a show the team seem to be lost. I ordered a mac chicken sandwich meal at 12 oclock for for them t0 make me wait 7 mins to give me the wrong order. I drove all the way back to college to see they had given me the wrong order not a sorry or anything all they said was oh that's the one to each other then took the bag which is now cross contaminated and put it back to obviously be served and then asked me to wait for my burger again. This time they gave me the right meal, Then when I asked to speak to the manager not even an apology he said he will talk to them for me. The team is only as good as mangment. They are all terrible like the blind leading the blind they was adults and between them they all look like they are strugglling no customer service skills and getting simple orders wrong. Cross contamination which I will be reporting to hygiene as that bag should not of gone back into that restaurant and the lack of responsibility serving me food im allergic to with no apology. Better of getting kids to run it. Ended up eating my meal at 2.30 as had to go back to work/the college. Should just pack in macd service here is always slow there is no fast food about it. Last time I will come to this particular one they can't lead a heard of sheep. someone gonna eat a contaminated burger lmao there hygiene is terrible needs inspection cross contaminating food. Can't fault the service here, I ordered via the app and had it delivered to my table as I had 3 dogs with me. Food and drink was hot and the employee was friendly and polite. My only gripe was I could not see any water bowls to let the dogs have a drink otherwise it would have been a 5star

Ordered via the app before arriving. Wouldn't give me my food via drive thru. Forced me to come in store to collect. I parked up, went in store, my order wasn't on the screen & staff couldn't find it. Terrible service.

Best maccies ive ever been to, food didnt even taste like a maccies cos it was that good, didnt have to wait longer than 20 seconds maybe? nuggets were alot crispier and browner than usual, and i loved it like that. so much better when warmer.

For a quick meal, and kids friendly McDonald's is an easy go-to! When the stadium isn't in use, eg, a football match, concert. It is usually quiet. Very rarely do they not have food unavailable. Unlike many of the McDonalds, their self-cleaning milkshake machines stop working, and no shakes. It's always clean and parking is ok

It's a McDonald's...not sure what to add. Small sized considering the area it serves (just by Bicester village). Drive through could do with being longer, decent sized restaurant over two floors. Food is consistent with the brand

Mc D for me is almost a last resort because I once almost lived on burgers. On approach you smell hot damp cardboard. I don't like the new way of ordering via computer it always goes wrong for me so I use drive through. Having placed my order the anticipation starts to build. Pay at the next window means it's mine. Move to the next window to pick up the warm bag of grub (am from Yorkshire). Taking the first bite is an explosion of flavours ooooh gorgeous. A sip of my milkshake adds to the feeling of enjoyment. Worth every farthing. Well I am 74.

Had to leave a review, without doubt a 5/5 McDonald's. Clean, modern, quiet. Food was served really fast. Very friendly/helpful staff and the Big Mac was perfect. Also a big portion of fries. Keep it up! 😃

For 23 minutes I've been waiting for 2 plain cheeseburgers while the restaurant was empty. I have counted 7 employees walking around the kitchen and doing pretty much nothing. On top of that the A/C been running like a crazy, it was extremely cold to wait for my order.

Breakfast here is expensive for what you get and not particularly tasty. Toilet was very clean though and service, though slow by McDonald's standards, was quicker than you would get in a similarly priced greasy spoon café.

Apparently open but shut, manager sat outside having a cigarette.

Visited 27/06 at 22:15 and it was probably one of the freshest maccies I’ve had in a while. No issues with the order, quick service, polite staff, plenty of hot and salty chips and burgers that had enough salad and sauce and a working milkshake machine. The unicorn of maccies.

Vanilla milkshake was warm. Not frozen at all. Cheeseburger looked like it had been stamped on. Called out my friends order as the wrong number. Stood waiting for 15 minutes until he looked behind the counter to see it was his own drink that was waiting there. Not even the drink he chose. Very bad service hence the stars

Not been for long while and shan't be going again soon. What's happened to buns, so small, food for the borrowers.... Breakfast bap was rank, cold, unedible. Coffee was good tho. Disappointed. 😔

Very calm and peaceful MCD in Mk. Food is always served hot. Very well behaved stuffs. Also it’s open 24/7 for midnight cravings. Serves breakfast till 1100. Plenty of seating spaces. Surrounded with beautiful nature too.

3 times I've gotten food from mconalds this month and all 3 times my orders been wrong or food cold and they don't give you a refund or sort the problem out, extremely displeased with mcdonalds considering not coming back!

Absolutely awful, got my order wrong, overcharged me, missing items, when I queried being overcharged the staff just stared at me and did nothing to help. Also really slow, 3 cars ahead of me in drive through queue but took half an hour?

Service gets get worse and worse. McDonald's are relying on the reputation of being cheap.. but the service is abysmal. Long wait for food to come through and then when it does, there is always something missing or incorrect; how hard is it to include ketchup in an order, especially when you have asked for it when ordering? The restaurant clearly cannot cope when it's busy, and it's not just a one- off, it's a regular occurrence and not just at this locality, other McDonald's restaurants are the same. Poor. Very poor.

Just ordered through the app and turns out store is closed for maintenance, however online ordering was allowed! What a joke!
