McDonald's in East Staffordshire

Ordered 3 times and had missing items every time. Gave the benefit of doubt the first 2 times but how do you get it wrong 3 times in a row, every time missing the most expensive item on the order… will not order again awful service

Do not order thought the McDonalds app or Uber Eats from this location. they are useless at making sure the order is complete, and I have had multiple orders that were missing items. It is also impossible to get a refund when you order thought the McDonalds app. the only thing you can do to get your missing items is to travel to the location and explain to them which items are missing which defeats the whole point of delivery. Also the food is cold most of the time because the delivery gets delayed for some reason.

Very good restaurant, hot food, polite staff and clean

Very little on the menu available waited twenty mins for just a coffee and chicken mayo burger and bigmac meal

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and tidy food is good highly recommended

Awful avoid at all costs, the cheeseburger was dry and burnt, took over 25 minutes to get food, only ordered 3 meals , they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery

Foods only rated a 2, I was given a muffin that should of gone in the bin as it was past due according to the label and the bacon and cheese flatbread was rock hard- it had the texture of a porcelain floor tile. It's a shame as the service and speed was spot on.

Went through the drive though. Usual patter ,nothing to report there . Food was cold ,I can't remember the last time I even got a remotely warm burger . You really do need to address this ,I only eat McDonald's when I'm desperate. It used to be good . Also what is it with all your sites locally never have ice cream?

I've lost count of how many times this place has gotten an order wrong. Never leave this place without checking your bag because it will be wrong more times than it's right.

It's a macky. What more can you say? Staff were great and working their socks off.

Booked an extra day holiday and our daughter was being so much of a nightmare we came here instead of the nearby carvery. She was still creating a scene when we entered and even before I could put the order through on the self service machine Rhys has cheered her up no end and brought her into her bright and cheerful self so we could all enjoy our meals. He kept bobbing back to us and entertaining her. Most relaxed and enjoyable time we've had in ages. Just wish the receipt machine wasn't out of paper so I could leave more direct feedback for him too. Food was piping hot and place was clean but that's nothing compared.

0 stars because I paid 8 pound for 2 Oreo frapays to them to say they don’t have them , asked if we wanted to other drinks then only gave us 1 drink😂🤦‍♂️ never going to branston McDonald’s again

I managed to muck up my order at the drive thru but the staff were super helpful and sorted everything

Not even a one star, staff appalling I rang up three times and the stupid stupid woman hung up all three times then they claimed I hadn't ordered from there branch, then to top it my order was wrong and missing items. Sorry I've worked at McDonald's how hard is it to read a receipt to check an basic basic customer service instead off hanging up the phone!!! Will not be back! Appalled at today's service and lack off order

Hot and Crispy fries, juicy burgers, top notch maccys! I won a sugar donut but they didn't have any

The most expensive McDonalds I have ever visited. It ended up when a disagreement at the drive-thru because I couldn’t believe the prices were correct. Refused to pay their prices and left hungry. Seems the franchisee wants to make a few extra quid by bumping up the prices to astronomical levels.

I'm very sorry I visited this branch and can only apologise for ordering my breakfast here. I feel really bad for the disgruntled staff who served me a latte and two hash browns. Try teaching staff pleasantries and manners

My and my family had a mc Donald’s from here last night 20/05/2024 around 11 ish pm and we all woke up with diarrhoea this morning 21/05/2024 we got two chicken Big Macs a double cheese burger 20 nuggets 9 nuggets 5chicken strips all with chips and two coke and two sprite, I rang up for a guy to not know what to say stammer his words and gave me a email which was not rite and did not send unknown domain and and his very fast sorry befor putting the phone down yet he stated it was serious. Clearly the hygiene level at this place is shocking as I’ve never had a problem at others. Iam very anger at this. If I could give zero stars I would.

Got order wrong and as a good will gesture they thought a portion of chips would be nice so I would avoid this MacDonalds in the future

I get a 30min break, I’m 5mins away and Ive been late back to work both times..even with a pre-order. I ordered the simplest items so it might help be quicker. This is not FAST food.

Went to grab some food at 9:30pm because we'd had a busy day and had missed dinner. Despite there only being a handful of other cars, it took c.15 mins to get from ordering to paying. When we got to the pay window, it was opened, but the staff member didn't greet us or acknowledge us in any way. The order displayed on screen wasn't ours, so we told him. Still no acknowledgement. After several minutes of silence, with my card at the ready, the member of staff walked away without communication or explanation. Several other staff members walked past, but none acknowledged us. The window remained open, but no one returned to take our payment. Ultimately, after another several minutes of waiting, we gave up and left without getting any food.

Order came to £40 got it back to work and was missing 2 items. Also asked for curry dip and they insisted on charging 10p. didnt have cash so didnt get one. Wont get another penny off me, let alone 10p. Useless

I'm rating this as a fast food burger restaurant not as a Michelin star restaurant. As far as McDonalds goes this is one of the best I've been too. The burgers and fries were fresh, the service was prompt and it looked well managed. The older lady collecting people's trays was a joy. Everybody needs helpful friendly staff. The burgers were juicy, hot, freshly cooked not like some other McDonalds.

Delivery was late, fries were re-cooked, burgers arrived like they'd been through a force 5 hurricane, large drinks were half filled and had no ice, only one straw... absolute shambles

Had a quick lunch here today and my partner and I both wanted to say what a brilliant job Helen was doing. She never stopped, clearing tables, wiping down, running orders to cars all with a lovely smile and a kind word for everyone. She is a credit to the place.

Haven't been to McDonald's in a while, I now remember why, cardboard chips to go with the cardboard chicken, I will stick to Burger King

Burton has nice Macdonald's in general, food is always nice, looks good, tastes good, no complaints tbh

It felt unfair to give these guys anything less than 4* as it was incredibly busy and they were snowed under. We ordered a Cripsy ceasar and bacon wrap (with no lettuce - an annoyance to them) & a Big Mac with no gherkins (again, annoying) but they were ace and nailed our order, including 5 selects with 1 sweet curry and 1 ketchup sauce. Top rating for customer service, 4 stars cos the food was a bit chilly 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel compelled to write a review as this is the worst McDonalds I have ever visited, anywhere. I visited today whilst passing through Burton. Whilst parking up I saw the manager come out and get into his car, which was parked in one of the two disabled bays, to just sit smoking and drinking coffee. The restaurant was very quiet and there was only one customer anywhere near the service point who was waiting to collect an order they had made at one of the kiosks; I observed that when their order eventually came, it was mostly incorrect. I needed some hot water to mix up my baby’s formula milk so I decided to order my food from a human at the counter. Multiple staff members stood staring at me and my baby and chatting to each other as we waited what felt like ten minutes at the counter to be served. When I eventually asked to be served, I ordered a cup of tea and some food but when I asked the lady at the till to please put some hot water in my baby’s bottle she said the restaurant didn’t have any hot water, only cold water. When I asked how she intended to make my cup of tea if that was the case, she quickly backtracked, apologised and filled the bottle for me, all whilst looking at me like dirt. I am not sure what was done to my cup of tea after this because it tasted absolutely horrific; I ended up throwing it in the bin. The impression I got of this particular branch of McDonalds is that they hold their customers in absolute contempt and that none of the staff want to be there.

Such a rude an disrespectfull employees, especiallly one of them name Molly, she made the order and not even ask me about mu order number, she just put the order on the side let me waiting 15 minutes. This is outrageos for an Macdonalds employee who should not work for any restaurant ever. And its not the first time they are treat drivers like this or worst. Every time i came here i wait for order at least 20 minutes.

Placed my order in store at 2226hrs Place was quiet, so I was happy my order would be quick. Only to be told around 8 mins later my wrap would be another 3 minutes, fine, but I'd seen the worker put my cheeseburger, fries and nuggets in a bag to "stay warm". Finally at 2245 got my order at which time I was told "it's fresh" meaning the wrap, and I responded with "but the rest isn't". Don't bill yourself as a fast food outlet if the food isn't fast. Don't bill it as fresh food if half the order waits under a heat lamp whilst other food is cooked. Sort your order system out (there where loads of "dead" orders on the screen). Sort your franchise out. Sorry I shouted at the nice lady doing my order but it was a bit silly wasn't it? Half a fresh order, half a well baked order. My local McDonalds, so bloody frustrating. Sort it out franchisee.

Missing food from order, no offer of refund, 2nd time

day is now ruined what the hell, the delivery driver must not know how to drive carefully cus why has my drink fallen over in the bag and the drink spilling everywhere, my nuggets aren't in the bag they were the main thing #devastated, was looking forward to them tbh. My chips are cold i might aswell of got them from Antarctica brev, rang them and after i said my order then she hung up the phone i didnt even get the rest of my sentence out. absl fuming brev.

At this point, it is just food and nothing fast about it. They have been focusing only on drive-through, and I had to wait 30min to get my food.Also, they get the orders wrong quite often.

Visited the Burton branch. The servive here is better than many McDonalds, very friendly, clean. Good servive despite being busy

Probably the slowest McDonald’s I’ve been to and the food wasn’t worth the wait, order incorrect and food cold.

I thought it was supposed to be fast food but it took over an hour to get our food and a lot of pestering

It's a McDonald's so probably needs no introduction about the atmosphere or food quality. It's McDonald's quality, which is it's own category. But this one seems well run and kept clean. Handy for a quick bite if you're overnighting at the nearby hospital.

Staff are absolutely clueless. Even the simple task of handing the food out from the desk is too complicated for them. Delivery drivers crowd the desk as they have presumably learnt how useless they are at running the place without supervision.

This place is one of those maccies that is run by children. Even the manager is a child. Service is rubbish, atmosphere sucks and staff seemingly can't be bothered. Food only got 2 stars because it's mclndalds in the first place, that's all it's got going for it though.

Cleanest McDonald's we have been in, service was good , meal brought to our table. Having finished meal and leaving table with the tray, lady assistant took the tray with a smile and asked if everything ok, bang on service.

Just been and picked up an order I made through the app. They forgot to add my fries & my McFlurry turned out to be a coffee of sorts. Really disappointed as usually they’re spot on with my orders. I’m not feeling well at all so didn’t want to go inside and sort it out as I just wanted to get home.

The night manager Ashley waters was so rude and unprofessional and resulted in losing McDonald’s customers !!!!

The cashier was rude when I asked for a tap water, tried to con me into buying bottled water then shot me dirty looks when I insisted for tap water. And the top of my big mac was mutilated. Half of the bun was burnt and it looked like it had been stomped on. Pictures attached

Every single time i have been to mcdonald’s they have got my order wrong. When my boyfriend goes in to change it he is ignored, customer service is not that good.

“Jewell” Wes an angel! We came in after a dirty Thursday rather loud and she took my order with patiently! And and such a beautiful smile!! Amazing customer service from this manger! The timing was a little too long at 26 minutes but we did order everything plain and it was hot! Best McDonald’s in Derbyshire in my opinion always up to standards and never cold and sloppy!

Nobody ever seems to have a clue what's going on in here, there is never any receipt paper in the order and go machines and the clientele has the average age of 75 drinking coffee staring at others seemingly oblivious to their location. I think its geared up for drive through and not in store, can't comment on that though. Last two times I've visited ive just ordered 2 double cheeseburger from the saver menu as a quick snack and on both occasions its took around 10 minutes, for a basic item in a McDonald's its pretty poor unfortunately. Also, how is it that McDonald's is borderline expensive nowadays?

As soon as I walked in the staff couldn't care if they served you or not. I felt the person who served me was surly. Over all not a pleasant experience.

Keep you waiting all the time and never have any milkshakes always tell you machines out of order.

Just writing this to pass the time while I wait for my food 😂 I've been here for 25 minutes so far (it's 6:30pm on a Wednesday) The order machine was disconnected from the card reader so I had to pay at the desk anyway, and my receipt didn't print out either The lady on the service desk was lovely, but most of the staff appear to be fannying around in the kitchen not getting much food out Don't come here if you've got places to be, it's not a quick in and out like most maccies

my burger was stale, chips cold and unsalty. I ate the chips first and sort of expected the chips to be this way so I alllowed it. Bare in mind I haven’t eaten all day (no one else’s fault, purely mine and nothing to do w the workers but just for context) I ate about half of the chips and opened my burger. (Ordered a vegetable delux) It was cold and hard; I bit into it and the vegetable patties were actually stale. I went back to maccies and they were really kind to accommodate my concerns. I got my food again and the chips, hot but not salty (which is okay because they were hot at least) but the burger was completely the same. I usually don’t return my maccies food because I expect it to be bad to a degree but did not expect the whole meal to be stale. Very disappointed, spent £7 on this meal lol. Only good thing was the hot chocolate.

If you park by the drive through you get blocked in and have to wait for someone to let you out but it still a nice visit

Cheese burger was luke warm. Ordered the fish fingers happy meal. The fish fingers were like rubber and again they were luke warm. Staff not bothered ! If going through the drive through, check your bag before leaving. On 3 different occasions I've getten home and items were missing !

Slowest ever service. 30 mins to get anything, then they had missed main food item for one of us. So 5 minutes more for that. No apology. Want my money back McDonalds... would give zero stars if I could

Drive thru service was very much a 'don't care about my job or about you' attitude. 'Just take your food and get lost' kind of service. Third time running within a month the fries have been cold. I take them back to only get some new fries that are also cold. These visits have mostly been after 9pm through the drive thru.

Didn't get order right, when remaking.. it look like a pile of mess
