McDonalds is McDonalds but why oh why, when they know they are going to ask you to park up, do they give you all the cold stuff, like shakes and McFlurries to melt and your coffees to go cold while you wait???

Very good service. You know what you're getting.

I had to wait so long for our order that people who came in after me ordered, received, and consumed their food and had left before we received ours. When I asked why our order was taking so long I was told "we're waiting for your McCrispy" When I eventually received my order I questioned whether my order was right as I thought I'd ordered a beef burger (I hadn't, I'd ordered chicken but it wasn't a big issue). While I was eating I could hear the staff behind the counter loudly and blatantly talking about me and ridiculing my mistake. The food was ok, the staff not so much so. That was my first Maccy D's in around three years and I won't be rushing back.

Service is extremely slow all day every day. If it's fast food you want don't go this McDonald's.

I was with me and my younger sister tryna get some food when a guy called Harry tried to approach me and ask for my number I told him I was only 15 and he still kept trying after I told him multiple times to stop I find this quite offensive and was pretty scared to

where do I start, as soon as I walked in some elderly woman's dog started barking uncontrollably at me. After she got that rabid beast under control I went over to have a word with her. She was asian and did not speak a word of english-at least thats what she told me, she said "no english" with a typical asian accent. When I used google translate she started glaring at me and screaming profanities at me in her native language. So I quickly bowed and ran to the restroom because I was so afraid from this interaction. After about 47 minutes of me hiding in the bathroom and planning out my order I came out and checked carefully, I tiptoed around the entrance of the bathroom, I took deep breaths and I looked and that asian and her pet was gone. I felt so relieved I sighed and this homeless guy approached me and asked if everything was okay. When I answered no because I didn't want to bother him-he backed me into a cubicle and said that it was okay. He started stroking and playing with my hair so I smacked his hand away and said that if anyone needed to talk about their feelings it was him because he was homeless, he was wearing a dark blue torn shirt and skinny jeans that he probably stole from Tesco. After I said that he looked flabbergasted and I knew this was my chance to escape so I sprinted out as fast as I could and hid in shell the gas station next door. I stayed there for about 3 hours and I finally went back into the McDonalds. At this point it was already 4pm and suddenly a herd of 14-16 year olds came running in and cutting in line. At this point I was so mad that I had already forgotten what I planned to order earlier in the bathroom hiding from the angry asian woman with a terrifying beast for a pet. Not much to say about them just that they cut in line and were noisy. Once I FINALLY got up to the counter I ordered a double cheeseburger, large fries, 6pc nuggets, and an oreo mcflurry now believe it or not but the ice cream machine was NOT broken for once, thank the lord. Anyways in conclusion and my overall, final, total rating this was a hectic, chaotic day for me and i rate this place 5 stars.

Always good and welcome halfway home! Big plus is that unlike a lot of McDonald's the fries are usually hot and crisp!

This experience at this stop has made me vow never to have a McDonalds again, staff were rude its like we did not exist. Food was poor and not completed but could not be bothered to get it corrected. Do yourself a favour and drive by and dont visit

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime so fairly busy. Table service was fairly quick. However, no ice in drinks, no ketchup in the dispenser, no napkins in the dispenser, bins overflowing, tables not cleared and rubbish on the floor not only near the bins. All of this whilst one member of staff laid back on a corner seat having a break, which of course he is entitled to.

Possibly one of the best Mc Donald's we have visit. Polite staff, OK, had to park and wait 2 or 3 minutes bur food came out piping hot! Not bad at all!

Bit of a wait although young staff coping admirably with rush. Food hot when arrived.

It was a bit disappointing this time. Admittedly it was busy and we had a long wait for our meal to be brought over. The fries were a bit tough and not very hot and the chicken mayo was also not hot.

Came across this McD by accident. Satnav with a mind of its own but my teenage daughter and I needed a late lunch and this players really cute and hidden away. We ate inside and the food took no time all and the staff were relaxed and friendly. The sun was out for only the second time this year and it was warm enough to sit outside without a coat. An unusual, unexpected, but very enjoyable discovery and lunch. I'll probably never find it again! Only negative was my quarter pounder with cheese was cold bi I didn't want to leave my sunny happy place so didn't bother getting it changed.

Service was quick. Lady at server hatch was very polite when she handed me my food.

Shocking all round. Staff were rubbish. Food was wrong. Food splattered all over the road and floor.

Don't waste time going inside. Both times I've stood like a duck in thunder waiting all the while they making sure the drive through is getting served first. 3 stars for the food as it's not bad but not good enough for anything higher than 3. Mediocre at best.

Slow as always ..not as bad as burgess Hill... that's the only reason I go to Uckfield now... Your forefathers would be embarrassed....I remember being in London in the 80s .. you qued up ordered. They would hit a large stop clock . If you hadn't got your food in under 30 seconds or one minute, you got it free... If you did that now, you would go, but in 6 months... you offer a drive-through for quick service and only in my experience deliver 6 out of 10 visits.... ordered breakfast.. but to be honest, it doesn't make any difference...

Terrible, we have to wait for simple menu 26 min.

Music was so loud even when we asked if could be turned down. Ridiculous. Deafening. Gave up trying to talk and took our meal home.

Went through drive through, not busy, told to park up to wait for food, fine. 10 mins past, still no food. After 15 mins walked to drive through window to ask what’s going on, and the food was handed to us immediately?? The girl on the window was rude and sarcastic and said ‘THANK YOU’ like we’re going to be grateful for sat waiting, with no apology for the wait. The food was slapped together. Idk why they make every car park up and wait for simple orders, not like we had a special order simple breakfast order. Fast food my arse,Not impressed to say the least

Constantly get orders wrong, this time left out the most expensive burger i ordered, cold food and always have to wait for food even through the drive through get told to park up. What ever happened to walking to the counter, they would turn around and place your order in a bag. Now loads of staff all hanging around a bag loading area. McDonalds, this doesn't work.

They could do better with their delivery as food or drinks are missing most of the time and then when u ring they blame the delivery people for it when it Mcdonald team that cook and do the drink so they could make sure that is all ready and have all the items people get

Absolute numpties can't get a simple order right. Double sausage and egg add bacon. Get home no eggs in any. Every time order wrong. Have to sit there and check everything. Been ok for couple of weeks. Didn't check get home whole order wrong. How hard is it.... useless

Average. Just like every other Maccy D's worlldwide.. Maccy D is a franchise anyone can rely on to give them some thing they can expect, every time everywhere Great Coffee, processed meat. Chemical cheese. Lard loaded chips, unwanted Gurkins, and cheep. Yet we crave a Maccy D's every now and again because they satisfy in moments a craving, and they are instantly available, No matter where you are on the Planet

It’s McDonalds what more to say, slow, more interested in drive through than customer in the restaurant! Food sat for a good 4-5mins waiting to be bagged! Gave me my food then walked away, took a further 5mins to get staff to give us our hot drinks

Dirty, overflowing bins, Dirty tables, rubbish everywhere, cooking area could be seen ingredients everywhere, Dirty. We were disgusted

Food was at best mediocre with limited choice for the those of us who cant eat wheat products. The coffee tasted like burned rubber the chips were cold and the beef burger tasted like night befores reheated.

Most days the drive through food is not hot. More often than not you are asked to park up and wait. Not the fast food service you expect.

I put 3 stars only because they didn't have a lot of working kids tablet's which was fine because they had colour pictures but no colouring pencils or crayons :-( not end of the world but would have been better with.

Great restaurant, quick and friendly service - food always correct, hot and ready quickly.

Service was great, counter staff very helpful, food served quickly up to usual McDonald's standards. Very limited seating provided at 9pm despite restaurant being open.

The girls behind the counter were pulling faces when customers entered. The food was done relatively quickly, but they turned out to be the most disorganised burgers ever. Nothing was in place...we ordered 7 dbl cheese burgers and at least 5 of them were practically falling apart as soon as we unwrapped them.

Clean and reasonably quick (circa 8 mins) although the order I recoeved was not correct.

Amazing food, worker named Sara was talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Joke. Don't try the drive through. Ordered a cheeseburger with regular fries and a filet-o-fish with regular fries. Paid and drove to the collection window and was told to wait in the carpark. Fifteen minutes later we got our cold food brought out to the car. Something very wrong with this place.

They’ve got really good at allergies now, you can remove ALL INGREDIENTS bar one from any burger.

Surprisingly decent food and fast service. The McPlant burger is very tasty, even my meat-eating friends like it. Always happy to get a McDonald's if I'm in a hurry.

Order placed for park and serve! 30 minutes later I had to walk in and get the order myself, problem is not walking in but come on guys, waistin' 30 minutes from someone else lunch break it's not nice!

Meal was totally wrong lettuce in burger when no lettuce was clearly written on the box, Cheeseburger had no cheese and the Sprite drinks were undrinkable tasted like bitter fizzy water.

This place is awful. Every time I go here they mess the order. Food is often cold, poorly put together, missing items. Don't bother with it, keep driving and go to some other place.

Typical burger joint Standard fare Great for when you’re in a hurry or just need the Maccy ads hit

The food was prepared fast and neatly, I felt welcomed by the staff. The food was par for the course for a McDonald's, however it is much more neatly prepared than other locations that are within high population areas.

A trip to McDonalds is often hit and miss but this time the order went through and the food arrived quickly.

Was dirty and a staff member was shouting all tye time about her personal life

This is a pleasantly well laid out restaurant. In the depths of the Sussex countryside, plenty of outdoor seating make this a pleasant stop for a snack. Do check your order on receipt though as they frequently miss items here. The games machines do work here so a longer wait while they get the order right is not the end of the world.

McDonald’s get this place under new management! The service is dreadful if your going to make someone park up after a long wait make sure you remember their order. 40 mins in total and having to walk in for something they said they would walk out to you. Judging by the reviews the manger needs to be replaced.

Why do they have milkshake on the menu? They rarely have them anymore and usually cite "cos covid". Really? That old chestnut.
