Lovely lunch, great location, beautiful hotel surroundings. The spa was being enjoy by couples while we were relaxing with a couple of drinks and lunch. We chatted so much that we ordered cream tea, however the scones were extremely overbaked and we sent them back, else it would have been a 5* review.

The reviews on this listing refer to various different tea rooms / cafes in the area . I can only assume that people have no idea of the names of the places that they went into so just entered reviews randomly under the heading 'Mawgan Porth cafe'

We were walking the coast path and stopped in here for drinks and cakes and were not disappointed. It's a lively place with reasonable prices and friendly staff and well worth finding.

If you have never been to Mawgan Porth before, then place it high on your "places to visit" list........it is absolutely stunning. The café is a two minute walk from the beach and if you like home made baking then you will not be disappointed (why visit Cornwall if you are not going to try the famous Cornish Pasty)Nice as the café is, the jewel in the crown is the beach...OMG !!

Loved the decor here it is modern but with old furniture, very pretty and appealing. The restaurant is not too big and has a lovely nook at the entrance to sit and have coffee or drinks. There was 6 of us that ate a few times for dinner and all the food was perfectly cooked and delicious every time. I think it will be fab here in the summer too as they have a huge pizza oven and BBQ that will be in use and lots of lovely places to sit outside (too cold while we were there). I would highly recommend eating here if at Mawgan Porth beach or in the area. It is only a short walk from the beach or there is good parking outside. There is a lovely menu, and good cocktails, they also have a nice children's menu. I would love to eat here anytime!

We popped in to this cafe at Mawgan Porth while on holiday in August without booking. It was way after 7pm, they were pretty busy but after checking, they were very accommodating and were able to fit our family of four in. We had previously looked at their menu outside on the board before and it was mouthwatering. What an amazing place, we had the tastiest meal. My hake with garlic & anchovy topping was gorgeous, as was the pork with caramalized red onion marmalade, our Daughter loved the sundried tomato risotto, sadly no room for pudding although a taste of a shared brownie was wonderfully light !! The staff throughout were friendly & attentive, top class service.Don't pass this place by - you won't be disappointed, it would probably be wise to book. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Wasn't expecting to find such a lovely place here. Food really lovely. Very nice feel about the place. My advice would be to book during the holiday season as it does get very busy.

Food is made from fresh as ordered with unusual recipes all of which we tasted were excellent. Great relaxed atmosphere. Just a suggestion: please add some sort of light blinds to the doors and windows to avoid having to eat with the sun shinning on your eyes.

What a lovely find. Fantastic home cooked food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. You don't have to be a park resident to dine here and we're so glad we paid a visit for an evening meal. Just to give an example of the foods... we shared lovely breads and olives to start, I ate sticky chicken with homemade coleslaw and wedges, the hubby had a lamb burger and fries. Followed by rhubarb crumble... Yum!! Definitely worth a visit.

A hidden gem. Just brilliant fresh food from Scottie babs and the team. Bread and desserts made each day and the tastiest food cooked to order. I have eaten in some good restaurants in the uk and Europe and this place is in my top 3. I could eat here everyday. Ask for the rosemary and garlic bread lovely with olives.

Do'nt miss out on this Cornish GEM!!!! My husband and I have just had Sunday lunch here and it is truly a hidden treasure. Not well advertised in Mawgan Porth itself which is a pity really. It advertises as a cafe but is really a restaurant.Tables are set out in a country farmhouse style with colourful tablecloths covering solid wood tables.Colourful cushions adorn the solid wood chairs.I had butternut squash today stuffed with blue cheese and creme fraise. It was accompanied by a fresh green salad. All to die for!!!He had smoked chicken with little baked spuds and salsa verde-just yummy. They do fresh breads home made desserts, cookies and the like to eat in or takeaway.Cooking happens within view of the customers.Lovely outside area to relax with coffees. They sell wines, spirits and beer as well as the usual soft drinks.Child friendly also.Open til 8pm in the evenings.Honestly folks-this place will not let you down!!!!!

We arrived at our b&b; in Mawgan Porth and didnt want to travel too far on our first evening. The owner of the b&b; recommended The Cafe at The Park, and am so glad they did as I am not sure it's the type of place that I would have tried unless I was staying on the complex. The cafe has a bright airy feel. It's relaxed and casual. The menu is limited one daily special in the evening and a few other dishes, but don't let this put you off. We shared an antipasti platter which was absolutely superb, I then had a delicious grilled halloumi salad. Excellent ingredients and well executed.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.
