Maverick's in Sefton

Always pop in when we visit Southport. Was in there over the weekend,, very friendly staff!, But the toilets were not clean,,, top of cisterns were full of dust,,, floors were filthy

Wow what a fantastic evening last night, kareoke with Sue who always makes you feel welcome. Staff smiling and having a lil dance behind the bar… Well worth a visit if you’re in Southport for the afternoon or evening or both .

Wow what an amazing place. Called tonight with hubby, I had no speech but staff were amazing in allowing me to order at the bar. Stephen the bar chap was outstanding and so understanding and caring thank you young man. Molly was great. Karaoke Sue played me a favourite song to listen to, thank you. Pete and Zoe kept us safe all night thank you especially Pete. We will be in again and recommend this bar. Frequently call in when we are over for a short break. Thank you one and all. X

Spent the weekend in southport and found this bar at the end of bold street. Great music, and well priced drinks with a good vibe, shout out to steve, nice bar to spend a few hours.

Amazing evening at Mavericks on Saturday night! Staff were Fab, the manageress Vicky who organised everything was wonderful and made everything perfect for us. Would recommend to anyone looking for a venue for a birthday or just a night out with friends.

We visited yesterday on Grand National daytime this superb sports bar and Vicky the manageress was absolutely brilliant service and very caring. Looked after us perfectly well. Will definitely be back. Keep doing you incredible xx

Me and my sister popped into Mavericks for a drink,, played good music from 80s The manager Mike was a extremely professional young man,, an asset to the company ,, very friendly, he will go far in his career I think,,so level headed! The other barman Dom was very friendly too!! We went back the following night and he remembered us,, however we never enjoyed the music tonight,, bit more rock,, however Mike was very professional yet again!!!!

First visit to Maverick's which is in a good location in the Northern Quarter at the end of Lord Street. Great interior very American Themed Bar. Really good atmosphere and really good music. We stayed for a couple of hours and had some great beers and wine. Fully Recommend and great staff.

Quiet on a Sunday evening but gave me chance to look at this great themed bar on the north corner of Lord street. They’ve done an amazing job here it looks really cool and very American. Cocktail mixed well but I’ve no idea of the price tho! Only real food is pizza which is def not American and not much choice either. I’ll return but probably only for drinks.

Great American diner on Lord Street at the far end by farm foods. They do some great small dish food like Panini's/Nachos/Pizza's and sides. They also have a wide selection of draught lagers/beers and bottled lagers available. The bar was clean spotless and staff friendly and proper diner music playing in background which made it a pleasant visit. Also outside areas in front and side of bar and pool table inside. There is also tv's in bar for sport etc.

What an edition to the bar scene in southport would definitely recommend it and looking through the glass frontage gives a real open view. Love the pool table and will be going again and again. Lovely American themed bar.

Great bar end of lord street... Really great atmosphere friendly staff and cheap drinks... Place looks amazing inside and great seating outside in the sun. Definitely the place to go for a lively Friday night or Saturday night.... Would highly recommend this place

Absolutely stunning bar and restaurant. Great food & drinks, only problem we had was my partner got a coors and it went flat after 5minutes of drinking it, however they replaced it for him, and second one was perfect. Would definitely recommend, it has everything for everyone from a pool table, to a pin bell machine, and a juke box however the juke box wasn’t in order when we went, I have absolute confidence that it will be fixed over the next couple of days, I’m sure. Bar staff are very warm and welcoming :) Will be returning.
