Matty's Cafe in Bath and North East Somerset

I recommend going for breakfast 👍🏽 the staff are very friendly and easy going. Seems like a homey restaurant. Food feels like breakfast at home ☺️

We were staying locally for the Xmas Fayre. Absolutely love ❤️ this cafe. Great value at £7.50 for breakfast and tea. Spotlessly clean 🧼. Would definitely recommend.

Tables could have done with a wipe over as not many people there so could have been done I had a full english, not long to wait, tea was hot and my grandaughter had coffee which the lady spilt all over the cup and in the saucer no appolgise .when my food came the baked beans were stone cold as if they had come straight from the tin or just been left on the plate for a fair while ,the rest not bad but could have been a lot hotter If food is suposed to be hot then in my opinion it has to be that is my main thing when I eat out. Would go again

My daughter and i often have a breakfast/ lunch delivered by Mattys.I can't praise the service enough! Excellent breakfast,excellent delivery,excellent service, excellent value! We love Mattys Cafe!

If you like English breakfast, just the way you like it, then this is the place to go. We have fussy eaters, I like my bacon crispy, my friend likes it soft, my wife does not like bacon so asks for it to be swapped out for mushrooms, or extra sausage or whatever she fancies on the day. Never a problem, they note and prepare it perfectly. It's a cafe, but light and spacious with good spacing between tables (not like traditional cafes that squeeze people in). Always found parking around the corner in Brougham Hayes, or you go park in Sainsbury's/Homebase. Try it, I am sure you will be a returning customer

Went to Matty's on a wet Sunday morning and had a delicious (and huge) Full English for a very reasonable price. highly reccomended

I frequent here as a customer and can honestly say that the food is great. Matty is a very hardworking and a genuinely lovely man. The cafe is tidy and clean with nice outdoor seating. Best Cafè in Bath!

Unprepossessing from the outside, on a busy road, but unexpectedly large and bright inside. No frills but we had a decent breakfast though on small plates. Service was quick and friendly.

Llevo unas semanas ordenando desde aquí y todo ha estado moderadamente bien. Sin embargo, ayer pedí un desayuno vegetariano, pero parecía muy pequeño, aunque estaba destinado a contener todo lo que no estaba, el pan no se tostaba correctamente y estaba realmente empapado, las papas fritas aquí se quemaron. Pensé que volvería a intentarlo hoy, pedí un bap de desayuno, quería cambiar la salchicha por un hashbrown ya que no como salchichas y me cobraron, aunque deberían haberla cambiado de forma gratuita. También pidió un huevo escalfado ya que consistía en el bap solo para que se le cobrara nuevamente por otro huevo. También pedí una tostada de queso y cebolla y un café que tardó más de una hora en llegar. El café estaba frío como la piedra. También mi orden se equivocó por completo, la comida no se veía bien y también estaba muy fría. Fue sobrecargado por algo que no ordené. No volveré a ordenar desde aquí nunca más.

Matty's ha existido en este sitio durante muchos años, sirviendo comida buena y barata a los residentes y estudiantes locales.El personal es amable y servicial, y un (muy bueno) sándwich de tocino y una taza de té es 3. 40. Tocino decente, y grandes cantidades de tocino, además de pan tomado de un pan "real" sin cortar.Gran variedad de desayunos y almuerzos / meriendas producidos en casa.¿Qué más puedes pedir?

Cibo di pessima qualità. I pomodori cotti altro non erano che pelati in lattina riscaldati. Delle due fette di black pudding del "Big Boy Breakfast" una era la parte finale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo non buono.

No muchos de los cafés tipo de la vieja izquierda en el baño, todos pero pocos han desaparecido, así como ir al lado oscuro que venden café, saludable, en libras sustaninable 8 un tipo taza de lugares.Entonces, ¿cómo nos fastidió luego nos quedamos encantados porque nos donde nos cuando nos dijeron de este lugar. Es un tipo de transporte antiguo de lugar pero el desayuno que tuvimos simplemente no puede ser mejor en el baño. Lugar es básico pero está muy limpio, hay una zona de asientos en la parte trasera si el climas bien tambiéntuvimos el gran desayuno que era £7. 50 en el momento, la placa llegó fue del tamaño de un cubo de la tapa y ninguno de nosotros pudo acabar la comida, cocinado a la perfección.definitivamente vale la pena visitarlo. . Esto es si no quieres gastar £8 para un café de la carretera! !

Excellent cafe if you want a transport style cafe but good breakfast pleasant people and reasonable prices. Stopped there this morning with biker friends set us up for our little ride out.
