First time ordering from Masterchef i had ordered king prawn chow mein and my partner had ordered chicken slices fried rice and chips in BBQ sauce there was no flavour to my king prawn chow mein now and again you would get a tiny hint of flavour from the curry sauce to my horror the prawns were extremely mussy my partners food had no flavour whats so ever which is surprising as BBQ sauce can be a strong flavour it was a total waste of our money we hated it but the bin loved it we won't be ordering from there again

I recently ordered from Takeaway Master Chef, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The customer service was nothing short of atrocious. Not only were the staff rude and unhelpful, but they also seemed completely disinterested in resolving any issues. First, my order arrived late, and when I called to inquire, the person on the phone was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. To make matters worse, the food itself was far below standard. It was cold, poorly prepared, and lacked any of the flavors I was expecting. This place advertises itself as a "master chef" experience, but it was anything but. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or even the bare minimum of good customer service. Horrible service, terrible food – avoid at all costs!

Me and my mam ordered the chicken madras curry pizza. It was nice and spicy and very filling. I have been here a few times and will definitely be back !

I've had the chicken madras pizza from here a few times now and it's always been delicious. Nice and spicy and 10 inch lasts me 2 days as it's very filling ! Will definitely be back again 🙂

This place is a joke ordered a deluxe nanbab with extra donner meat paid extra and came with no extra donner. asked for jalapeños separately and it came with jalapeños all over it, phoned restaurant told them about my problem and then told them they can't do anything about it, absolute joke avoid

Don’t eat here!! There food is stored in garage out the back, the food is stored with rats and the roofs are rotted through.

Worst takeaway i think I've ever had, my partner got a nanbab which he really enjoyed i got a chicken bhuna with chips and a garlic nan, everything had leaked in the bag so the curry had socked through the bag and the nan was really soggy the chips were freezing and half cooked the chicken was like rubber and tasted vile and the actual sauce was like a cheap makeway curry, 1st time ive a curry from here and safe to say will definitely be the last, 40£ on a takeaway for half of it to be binned, just vile,

Placed an order at 4pm got to 5.30 no sign of food phoned to be told was with the driver would be any minute 6pm still nothing phoned again and got a load of abuse and cancelled order

I ordered spicy beef pizza 12".. which was st. They use frozen keema which they say is beef. Out of date from my opinion.. the beef is Donna meat blended and then frozen..I've work there is the past when it was under Zak and he wouldn't feed that to anyone.. I've been there over the years, but today was the worst.. dealing with customer complaints!? They couldn't do anything.. they bought out this off Donna keema meat saying this is what they us... fresh!?? Differently not... I told them to keep the pizza and the money.. as they didn't offer a refund or replacement.. I would avoid this place as they advised fresh, but they give frozen and out of date ....

Order was missing items when delivered rang up and was told another 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes later rang back to be told they were busy but were on way. 40 minutes later rang back and said driver could take the food back as I wasn't happy at all. Person on phone refused to refund money because they didnt do refunds then said driver wouldn't take meal back and If I had a problem should take it back myself (which totally defetes the purpose of a delivery) ended up doing so. I understand that mistakes happen but the attitude of staff from the off set was disgusting waiting just over 40 minutes in all to deliver what was missing of my meal and after being given a time frame of 10 to 15 mins to then be over 40 is just poor. Ended up having to drive to the takeaway to take food back and request a refund to be met by staff who said they no longer wanted the custom all because I wanted a refund (abysmal customer service). Not knocking food as have ordered from here for years and is usually spot on but will now be looking elsewhere due to attitudes of staff.

Chicken tikka pizza, garlic bread Great 👍

Decent food, but misleading pricing and then refusal to admit their own mistake. I ordered a garlic bread special, and it says clearly on their menu "with or without cheese" no mention of extra money. I ordered, then realised it was more expensive than it should be, so I called up the shop to question it. Once I called the man on the phone immediately said "no way" and that I must be wrong, and that it's just the "new menu". The man on the phone even offered to put a menu in with my order so I "can see." Well the menu was the same I had used, and was wrong. I decided to drive down to the shop (even though I ordered a delivery) and I showed the paper menu showing the price and it saying "with or without cheese". So apparently online it is £2.80 extra for cheese, yet their paper menu didn't have this, but after driving down and showing how their own menu was wrong they didn't offer the £2.80 even after driving down and showing their incorrect menu. Horrible treatment, and denial about their incorrect menu. I've added a photo of the paper menu. Won't ever be coming back because of this.

The food was very uncooked pizzas are very raw toppings just slide right off . Been in hospital 3x for food poisoning the food is not good at all people should not order from this place as the food is raw and off .

Deluxe Nan bab very poor tonight after ordering many time’s hardly no meat both doner kebab and chicken very poor to what we used to getting for the price also will not order again as used to be a proper deluxe in a 12 inch box now could fit into a 10 inch box no problem not worth money anymore which is a shame as really used to enjoy these for price but over rated now

Believe it or not, this is how our pizza arrived! Not very appetising and not great for price and delivery charge paid. It did taste better than it looked, but not really acceptable. Would be reluctant to order from here again.

very bad experiance offered from website a kebab chips and garlic but came marinated in chilli with loads of veg no were on site did it say was with veg staff member very rude and said it was my fault i should know that its not what it says on there own website no refunds or offer to fix so i was at a loss no food and 15 pound out of pocket

Ordered a mixed kebab from their website, when it came all the meat was marinated and full of veg at no point when i was ordering did it say this. Rang to tell that and they point blank refused that they were at fault and basically said my husband was wrong it did say on the site (which my husband had open infront of him where it clearly didn't state anything) they refused to do anything about it and said we should of rang to make sure it didnt have veg, if thats the case whats the point in having a website to order food from. Very disappointed and extremely bad customer service, out of £15 and the food went in the bin will never order from here again.

See quite a few bad reviews for this place, I've been getting food for around a year and I can't fault the place! Yet again tonight my masterchef special pizza was delivered in 30mins and was piping hot fresh out the oven and as tasty as always

Yesterday I ordered nanbab and pizza and I have to say that I was very disappointed because the nanbab costs £18 but I ordered the deluxe size and inside the nanbab it was filled with onion, mushroom and 1 onion barji and it was hard like a rock. There was only 4 chicken tikka and and little bir of kebab meat and I absolutely cant believe that it costed £18. They need to know and I am never going to go to Masterchef again.

Ordered food at 19.40 rang them at 21.00 they said they would ring driver! Ring back at 21.20 foods arrived freezing - driver was told to deliver food to 2 addresses in shields then 1 in Whitburn then us! Contacted Masterchef to demand a refund as food is freezing, and 2 hours wait, to be told they don’t have a refund policy and will look after me next time!? Don’t order from here they don’t have customer service policy either!!

Always ordered from there and thought the food was nice until last night when I found a huge hair on my Pizza, probably from the lass working behind the counter with no hair net on. They have lost a customer as I will never go back now. Not Acceptable !!!

Hi . I ordered 2 naan babs tonight. They were absolutely awful. Order from here from time to time. Usually good but food was bland.everything tasted the same?? Have you changed recipe?? Dreadful.

Since the owner changed ,the food hygiene is horrible. They gave me a pizza that smelled as if it was out of the trash and smelled horrible. Ever since then I always get an upset stomach. Never ordering again. I ordered a lot of times before and I now I just order if I have a really bad craving. The food tastes good but it's unhygienic and absolutely trash

Great takeaway. We place orders maybe one or twice a month. I’m allergic to mushrooms and they always ensure my order is adjusted and their food has always been brilliant. We get pizzas, garlic breads, chips, etc - really good

Absolutely disgusting food avoid this takeaway

Had a nanbab from here a few years ago which was top notch - and been fancying one for a while, so made the trip through to Shields. The nanbab was made up with far too much onion (presumably to pad it out). The onion bhaji was absolutely disgusting - like eating fried shredded cardboard! Got the wife a chicken korma, rice & chips. Only when I opened the korma did I realise that that carton was half filled with chips, so only half a carton of actual curry. Spent well over the £17 to receive a free garlic bread, but only received a single poppadum! I priced up online before I left and my order should have come to £23.59. Handed the bloke £30 and he initially gave me 1p change. When I queried it, he gave me another £4 - taking the total price up to £25.99. I would have queried again, but there was so much chaos going on behind the counter, I just thought "stuff it, I'll just get my food and go!" I made a 25 minute trip for this order, after enjoying my previous nanbab so much a few years ago - I wouldn't go back there now, if I lived on their doorstep.

Never had a problem with this place and constantly recommending it but after the couple we ordered with yesterday received a pizza with some obviously mouldy pepperoni and rang up to ask for a replacement, they received demands for photos and denials that it was off. They also demanded the pizza back and were quite rude. After they put a critical review on here the owners were again rude and told them to eat somewhere else. I had been arguing for Master Chef to be given another chance and that anyone can deliver some off food once in a while but after the awful attitude to two regular customers, I will not be ordering from here either. Shame after about five or six years of regular orders but zero satisfaction and a rude response if anything goes wrong puts me right off. Recommend you try somewhere else. Four regular customers lost for nothing but a bad attitude.If you take a chance and order from here, I hope everything is OK as there seems to be no tolerance for even a mild complaint. How difficult would it have been just to say sorry, here is a replacement pizza? Totally disappointed.

Normally never have a problem from here, food is always lovely however today I sat down to eat my pizza to discover 3 mouldy pieces of pepperoni across the pizza, so we rang the restaurant to be faced with a person with the worst customer service skills, so rude and tried to call us liars when we were explaining the situation, he then passed us on to another person and she was also rude. Not happy at all, the way the staff speak to customers is bang out of order!!!!

Order from here typically every other week as the oldest son loves their curry pizza. Generally spot on but tonight the pizza looked like it had been in a car accident with most of the topping oozing out of the box side. Did offer to replace it but would have had to wait! Picture taken after an attempt to rebuild the carnage! Very disappointed this time round!

Customer service here tonight was absolutely disgusting rang up for delivery and my 12 old daughter wanted kebab meat meal but i asked for the garlic sauce separately as she doesn't like it smothered which they point blank REFUSED. Surely as a paying customer a little request like that shouldn't been a bother. We were regular customers but definitely won't use this takeaway again.

One of the best curries I've had in a long time , there special currys are hard to beat . Nanbabs and the parmesan chicken is beautiful too 😁x

When I took delivery of my pizza I expected to open the door and my pizza would be in a bag left on my step with the delivery guy at least 2 meters down my path. No, I opened the door to have the pizza box thrust in my hand. Shame as the food is spot on but won't be using until they change their delivery policy.

If I could give no stars I would ! Just got an order from master chef and spent £50 for an order which I got half a portion of chips (which were £2.50 each) , smashed up popadoms and never got the full listed items with the tandoori main . Rang up and they said it’s tough and they can’t do anything about it . I asked them about the missing sides which was listed in the description of the main and they said ‘we don’t do it now ‘ . Their policy states... ‘Once an order has been placed and delivered by our driver, you must contact the shop direct should you have any complaints. The shop must be given the opportunity to try and rectify any errors or dissatisfaction on the same day of the delivery’. I tried step one of contacting the store and he couldn’t give a monkeys about what was wrong . Not only was he false advertising what comes with the mains but he said nothing can be done . Shocking service will not be returning !

Just ordered £50 worth off food. Always been lovely from here and staff pleasant but not today ! Portion of chips that would not feed a toddler it was so small. Poppadums in tiny pieces and no onion bajhi in main tandoori cocktail meal ! Manager basically said tough. Will not go back after shocking attitude.

Curry wrap was lovely but disappointed paid for chips on the wrap but didn't get it. Also my partner got the bolognaise burger with chips but really dry and cooked for too long not happy

Ordered £18 worth of food as 18:25, it's now 20:30, I rang them and asked where my food was, after much shouting in their background, he said, it's with the driver. No apologies. 20:35 and the food arrived. I've had to microwave the curry and rice, the chips went in the bin, as did the dips. Last time I order from there. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

When I rang the shop the woman owner was vulgar and abusive saying I hadn’t payed for extra pizza sauce but their website doesn’t have the option to add so I left it on the comments like I usually do at other establishments??? We had already payed a extra £1.90 for chillies on our pizza and ordered £25 pounds worth of food and to be told by the woman why should I give you extra pizza sauce for free as if I was trying to rob her of a scoop of pizza sauce very disrespectful!! If they turned around at the door and said you owe us extra for pizza sauce that would have been better then our £12 pizza not getting eaten. It's usually ok, but I get the impression that some of the staff either can't read or can't tell the time. I've stopped ordering chilli burgers from here because they can't comprehend between salad or no salad, I once ordered a 1/2 chilli burger from them with everything on & got a plain burger!... today (19/03/20) I ordered a pizza to be delivered at 10pm, it came 1 hour early & it was nearly cold. It's good food, but I fear that communication is the key problem here.

Love the " Naanbab" really good value and tastes amazing. Staff always pleasant. I always ring and order as it is very popular so can get very busy.

Fast delivery and amazing food! Havent ordered from here in a while and food is absolutely lush! Delivery driver was very polite and chirpy deffinitely reccomend :)

This is a shame because the food is lush but the customer service is disgusting. Our food arrived cold and 1 item missing. When we rang up they basically told us we were liars. They eventually re sent the meal and the missing item. When we got half way through there was hairs in garlic sauce will not be returning!!!

This Shops Customer Service is disgusting, I've been here a few times now and tell you what the lady owner has no manners at all. They have messed my order up not once or twice but three times now, absolute joke. GREEDY! I just recently spent £36.00 and because I removed 2 items of a pizza and added one they had the cheek to take a pound of me at the door for it, even though promised discount. Food isn't the greatest but also not to bad, This is MERELY the customer service I am talking about and for that reason I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!

Have placed various orders over the last few months and the food has always been spot on. Tonight I ordered the same as I always do and it arrived laced with chilli sauce which I don't like and can't eat. I called to discuss this with the takeaway who have accepted no responsibility or solution. I will be ordering elsewhere going forward. Terrible customer service.

Disgraceful service and food from start to finish. 1. Ordered a half margharita and half mushroom pizza tried charging me £10.90 when a full mushroom pizza is only £8.50 they tried charging me £2.40 for the ridiculous fact it’s classed as a half half pizza even tho less topping was being used than a full mushroom pizza. 2. Opened a can of Pepsi Max tasted absolutely disgusting therefore checked the date on the bottom of can it was 7 months out of date! (See picture) 3.Order arrived pizza extremely over cooked, garlic bread and garlic bread with tomatoe both over cooked very greasy with black burnt bits on top (see picture) 4. All Pizza boxes smelt of chemicals which had then transferred onto the dough of the pizzas 5. After speaking to the shop they were full of excuses and did not accept to take any responsibility I asked to return the garlic breads and off Pepsi. The driver turned up with a new can of Diet Coke which I do not like and 1x new garlic bread I explained I did not ask for a replacement and the driver called the shop. I was then passed on to a rude lady called Sarah who said their policy was no refunds and was being very difficult and patronising stating to me Iv not tasted garlic bread she was extremely argumentative when I highlighted how terrible it was. Shop refused to refund me even tho we could not eat the food and had been subject to drink Pepsi 7 months out of date. The food from this shop is not suitable for an an animal the staff attitude was absolutely shocking and I would advise not ordering from this take away. All pictures attached.

Thid is by far the best pub in the Choppington area. Very friendly and a pleasure to visit everytime. Lynn and David have done a great job.

Bait was actually alright ngl but they will literally bump you 70p at a time, overheard them even speaking that someone wanted a kebab with chilli and garlic, one comes free but they wanted 2 so they were saying they’ll send them one and charge for 2 and because they didn’t ask for one of them separate because one came free, they overcharged about 70p and stood laughing their heads off about it!

Delivery was quick but the driver wouldn't take my note coz it had a little tear in it off being in my purse so it stood n watched him rip it more. He then swore at me as I said I wanted my food he then chucked my change at me...

As always we placed an order for delivery, as we do regularly. However because we were ordering for company coming also we selected a later delivery slot rather than ASAP, this was disregarded and delivery was made over an hour early than selected or wanted. Very dissapointing service and unable to leave feedback on the website.

I chose masala sauce, chips, vegetable rice, popadoms, can of pop and ice cream. It took well over an hour before I decided to email MasterChef as I had no update on how long my food would take to be delivered. No response. When my food eventually turned up almost 1 and 3/4 hours later, there was no apology from the delivery guy. I gave him a tip anyway. When I open the cartons and paper wrapping the food was freezing. The chips were so soggy the paper had stuck to them, they went straight in the bin! As did the rest of the food about 5 minutes later. I effectively paid nearly £16 for a can of pop and a small tub of ice cream. So disappointed you n MasterChef

I have ordered a Naanbarb 30 minutes before I got it in my desire time and the food is delicious ..

I went to buy a takeaway... The girl serving was clearly too young to be using the till and looked half asleep... Messed up the order! They use pre-cut catering packs of chips.... Cheap as chips some people say but these are bland and expensive. The meal would have been worth 5 stars if only they had used real chips!

I ordered a pizza last night from Masterchef and WOW, 🥇 Pizza was cooked really well, full of topping and not full of greas. 🍕 fantastic service from the guy taking my order on the phone to the girl who delivered the food. 100% will be ordering again. Compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳

Ordered food to be told it was a 45 minute wait. Ordered one Parmo with just red cabbage and another with everything. Order arrived 20 mins late. Rang to complain but the lady who I spoke to had a terrible attitude saying that I was told 45-60 mins and that he ticket said no salad. It was a man that took my order so I don’t no how she wud no what time I was told. Generally an apology is all that is needed not calling customers wrong. I’ve ordered from here for ages and had a lot of problems with orders being wrong. I’ve put up with it because the food is normally lovely but I won’t order from here again.
