Massarella in Shropshire

It's a great place to meet my buddy Matt and have a coffee . You can get toasted sandwiches with chips for example. The staff here are lovely , Amy for example has a friendly smiley face and asks how are you etc. It's not just food old people as one person said there are all ages here.

We ended up here after shopping on a Sunday afternoon in Shrewsbury. We hadn't had any lunch and it was getting late, despite this the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty. Will be back

We did not have any food, just tea and Cappuccino coffee, both of which were enjoyable and the café was clean. This was the first visit to Shrewsbury for about two years and it was sad to see that part of the long established town centre shopping mall is closed off, Very impressed with the parking rates at the Frankwell car park though - 70p per hour.

Massarella has a nice bakewell slice and a good choice of drinks. This cafe is mainly for elderly people.

I love a good scone and oh my I was not disappointed Made on sight and the texture nice and moist. Scones can sometimes be to dry but these were delicious 😋

There was quite a long wait for food but we were warned about this. It was busy and we had the only empty table I had to clear this as there didn't appear to be enough staff. Food was ok brie and cranberry baguette and toastie. Reduce price refills on pop was good.

I took my little girl here for lunch. There were some healthy choices for her and colouring in the lunch box. My ham sandwich,however, was made with cheap, thin ham and was just cut diagonally once and served with no garnish whatsoever. If I'd known what they served I'd have brought a packed lunch!!

A brief pit stop for lunch, plenty of space to sit down & chill, the sandwiches where good & good choice of hot drinks, friendly staff too.

We called in for my daughter to take some medication. The staff member was very helpful, he opened the medication bottle for us and provided water. We called back later for a late lunch. Lots of choice including vegetarian meals. The cakes looked lovely but I was too full. We will be visiting again.

Being local, I have visited several times this year. Always a good selection of food and drinks particularly cakes! Reasonable prices with cheap refills. Loyalty card available. Plenty of seating in the cafe with tables/chairs also placed in the Mall should you prefer. Always lovely staff, efficient, polite and friendly. Mall toilet facilities are close by. Would recommend.

The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. There is a good choice on the menu and the food is piping hot. Clean and tidy surroundings easily accessible for roams and disabled.

We used to really enjoy coming here - they did lovely toasted sandwiches with a bit of salad, very reasonably priced, and the kids have a goodie bag with fun word searches etc on the bag itself and lots of fun bits inside to eat. They still do the kids goodie bag but the toasted sandwiches are horrible now - very processed and an extremely poor excuse for salad garnish - a bit of lettuce drizzled in balsamic. We've stopped going - very sad.

Very friendly cafe with good reasonably priced items. Service was really good and has put to shame many more expensive restaurants I have eaten in recently. Well done keep it up

Visited as a family whilst shopping, the seating is adequate and clean. We all had the soup of the day which was potato and leak, which was really nice, the bread was less exciting. Would have been better if it was crusty (probably my opinion). Overall a decent cafe with a good selection of food at a reasonable price.

It hosts a lot of different options with sandwiches or hot food. The atmosphere could be better as there is no music however the staff are beyond friendly. The food comes fairly sharpish even when busy and it hosts a great organisation system.
