Mason's Coffee Shop & Restaurant in Nuneaton and Bedworth

It has been a delight to return to this gem, following past years of regular working dinners. I can take my time, devouring dishes that are unobtainable elsewhere. Good cooked treats like today's liver & bacon with veg. Beautiful. An hour later, I went back for my apricot crumble with custard pudding. Five hours on, I can feel the iron in my body. That's just how good it is. Today, could have been fifteen years ago. Thank you, Masons.

Lovely tasty food and plenty of it. Service is prompt and friendly whilst being polite. Food served quickly for saying it’s fresh cooked. Would certainly return. Also reasonably priced.

We’ve been countless times for breakfast, we’ve sat both inside when it’s cold and outside when it’s warm. The one constant is the fabulous breakfast that is served by lovely staff and is always delivered quickly. It just can’t be beaten.

Had time to kill so popped in for an all day breakfast Everything was overcooked, the eggs were like joke shop food and everything was swimming in the mushroom juice Wife had a veggie breakfast which was also overcooked and the sausages were rock hard. My first visit here will also be my last

Visited today. Normally enjoy the food but today it was terrible. The jacket potato was cold and clearly a day or two old and reheated in the microwave. Won’t be visiting again.

Have been doing a tour of Nuneaton recently to find somewhere that does a nice breakfast or brunch. This is the best of all. Service is superb Food is great If you want to swop something you don’t like it’s not a problem Prices are very reasonable Our new favourite place

I had breakfast here this morning with my daughter, the food was good and they were very obliging as the swapped something of the stuff she wouldn't eat, however I needed the toilet whilest I was there which I found to be really grotty. The toilet itself was clean but the skirting boards were thick with dust the sink was grimy and the radiator was filthy and so rusty the rust was flaking all on floor. Not a good impression.

Popped in here on Sunday on the way home from town. We ordered two pork roast dinners. The staff are very polite and the food was perfect. The pork was very lean with no fat and cooked to perfection. The veg comes out in a seperate bowl and was very fresh. We did not have to wait very long and for a small business that was very busy was quite impressive. Will be eating in here agin very soon.

I come here as often as I can. I always have a full English and have never been less tahn impressed. Don't worry if the downstairs is full there is seating upstairs

Came in for a small bite to eat ...food was good and the service too...the only negative is it needs a good clean with a lick of paint and also tables and chairs looking very tired and worn.

I’ve had the normal breakfast which is lovely and lately tried the smoked salmon on toast with a poached egg instead of scrambled. It wa really nice, reasonably priced too

Great breakfast, deceptive upstairs which made me not go in for years thinking it was just the small seating area downstairs. Lovely service but I have to ask for my bacon well done!

We sat outside next to the rotten windbreaks. A bit unsavoury, when our tea and coffee arrived. The young girl was pleasant enough but did not notice that the teacup was dirty with an old tea ring inside. I took it back to the counter and it was replaced, however, surprise shock and 'sorry' would have been welcome. Not likely to return.

Siempre un punto de venir aquí con mi familia cada vez que estemos en la ciudad, son muy hospitalarios.La comida es un poco más caro que otros lugares de los alrededores, pero esto es por la calidad de la comida que te dan es muy muy bueno. El chef es fantástico, tuve una comida de cumpleaños aquí en la parte de arriba, y el menú de la noche era increíble y el estándar de la comida era de 5 estrellas, no esperaba una comida increíble de un pequeño café de la ciudad. La selección de bebidas que ofrecen también es muy buena, también sirven una variedad de bebidas alcohólicas. Gritarle a super la encantadora camarera asiática que nos hace sentir como de la familia cada vez que están allí, su atención al cliente es fantástica.El único defecto que puede recoger con este lugar es que no se necesita más mesas! Este es un pequeño lugar popular así se llena rápido y a menudo tienen que venir un poco más tarde.

Estado aquí muchas veces, pero creo que se va cuesta abajo cada vez que voy! Buen servicio, no me malinterpretéis, siempre comida buena.

He estado viniendo a este lugar por unos 10 años con mis hijos. 23 / 12 / 26, me dio un picotazo en mi propia. Recibió una encantadora señora oriental. El desayuno grande. Taza de té, que está incluido, llegó a los 5 minutos. Desayuno seguido 10 minutos más tarde. 2 salchichas 2 bacon 2 huevos 2 tomates judías champiñones croquetas de patata y 4 trozos de pan tostado. Totalmente de Montañas Rusas sin suelo. Excelente en todos los sentidos y por sólo £6. 80. Altamente recomendado

Descubrir este tesoro escondido por accidente, había pasado muchas veces prometedor para probarlo. Así que me alegro, personal y comida excelente, también hay una zona exterior donde puede sentarse y ver pasar el mundo. La única queja que tengo es que la gente creo que esta zona es exclusivamente para NO FUMADORES! ! No comer mi comida mientras disfrutan de nubes de humo al otro lado de mi mesa sucia soplado!

You will always get a good meal here from breakfast to lunch and Sunday dinners. Good value and excellent friendly staff

sat outside for coffee and tea which was pleasant and waitress very friendly and efficient but put off by the cleanliness outside. Cigarette buts and rubbish all over the floor, it wouldnt take 5 minutes to sweep up. Although not Masons fault there is a large wooden planter outside owned by the council that was overflowing with cigarette buts and falling apart,they could however not have a table right next to basically a large overflowing ashtray or even clean it up. we did see others eating and the food seemed of good quality and they were enjoying it. Would go again but they would need to clean up first

I had the large breakfast today 23-8-16 the food was fresh and hot I highly recommend it, it will set you up for the day

We have dined there for lunch many times and have never been disappointed. Lovely friendly atmosphere and you can dine outside weather permitting, if you have a dog. Good for disabled people too

good service, and excellent breakfasts. they do everything from snacks to meals. the coffee is nice to. only downside is tables not cleared when we went.

Really nice quaint cafe with a good choice of food! Different location in town to most restaurants and it's really nice. Food is always served piping hot looking very delicious. Love this place!

what great value for money.have been there 2 days on the trot for breakfast.will go back for lunch in near future.happy pleasant cafe,nothing too much trouble.only one drawback toilets are upstairs.go try it for yourselves.because I would thoroughly recommend Masons

I visit here regular for breakfast, lunch or snacks. Always been made to feel welcome, staff very friendly and food great. Sunday roasts are amazing with fresh veg and superb meat.Atmosphere very relaxed and children always welcome. Best tip is to book your table for Sunday lunch to avoid disappointment x

I have been here many times and the only thing that's ever been annoying is that it is too crowded, too many tables with too many chairs rammed into a small room.However the last time I visited I was made to feel very uncomfortable. I took my son in during the school holidays as a treat, the girls who served us were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately while we sat drinking our drinks I had the man I believe to be the owner constantly staring at me as though he couldn't figure out if I was human or not. It was very off putting, made me very self conscious and frankly disturbed and uncomfortable. I have not been in since and I don't intend to go if I am going to get stared at like that over the counter

I've had brunch many times over the past 12 months and found the place to be consistently great. Not too many bells and whistles but plain and simple good tasting properly cooked food appearing of quality sources and comfortable ambience. With this in mind I booked the venue for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night for 17 people.Everyone thought their choice of food was fantastic, 10/10 from 17 of 17- Amazing.The quibble my mum and dad has was that the Salmon they ordered was far too much for them to eat, not really much to moan about as what they ate tasted nice.The pace and personal touch to the service was comforting and all complimented me on the venue choice. More people should know of this great little eatery in Nuneaton.PS my starter Duck egg and asparagus on a toasted muffin was out of this world. Yum yum.

An excellent cafe open for breakfast, lunch and early afternoon tea. Friendly and reasonable. Good place to meet friends.

Lovely service and good food. Breakfast is lovely as are the prices :-) The best locally run coffee shop in Nuneaton.

First visit was this DecemberGeneral feeling of the place had seen better days. Perhaps most off putting was the sticky film that seems to pervade every surface. We changed tables twice, but still the same sticky film. Even the banister rail covered in a sticky residueStaff were very inattentive, more interested in chatting to friends. It took ages to be served.Having said all that the rest room facilities were cleaner than the dining tables.
