Maryland Chicken in Leicester

I saw a rat in the kitchen and there fries are bought basically they fry it again and they microwave the food over and over again and chicken was kinda raw not even cooked nicely

mold on the burger bun! bought some burgers for my kids take away, this what i find mold, i rang them few times never answer the phone

This place is no good at all and the chicken quality is awful. I don’t do reviews normally but had to join trip advisor to let people know how bad this place is. Now I have read the reviews I blame myself for using this place! There are plenty of places here on our doorstep which are far better.

I just heard an argument that the food was expired. TOTAL DISRESPECT Why do they want all of us to get ill. That's my question.

To give them the benefit of doubt tried this place again and that is the last time. Chicken undercooked and chips taste like cardboard

worst place do not buy steak burger just bought 3 mouldy steak burger chips was burnt chicken was smelly be carefull everyone dont feed your kids maryland chicken

This place has gone downhill as you can tell from all the reviews. They started off in Granby street as ‘Dixy’ Chicken and then became Maryland. The partners were a great team and people loved it and then they came to Evington road on the other side near the church. I loved it there as well but now they have relocated to the other side of Evington road and opened the Chilli flames. The staff at the old places were great and the quality of the chicken was excellent. The staff here are not as clued up here and the quality of the chicken is poor. The owners need to to listen to customers so they can make amends. Great staff and good quality chicken will make this place great again. The chicken we had was very tough and we asked for leg and thigh but got tough breast!

Food was OK but can be better, the burger smelt quite funny and the service was not all there, I wanted 2 slices of cheese instead of 1

How this place is allowed a food liecwnce is beyond me. The workers don't seem to wash their hands and generally look unclean. The food is greasy and doesn't taste nice. The fries are cold and uncooked.

Very greasy chicken and chips. When you bite into the chicken you feel the oil dripping onto your lips. There are better choices on Evington Road. Plus who runs out of onion rings...?!
