It is always good to find a pet friendly pub/restaurant that has a room, or rooms in this case, where pet owners can dine without being in a corner outside. We ate here three times last week, once off the 2 for £15 menu and twice off the full menu. All of the meals were of a good standard and the portions were large, the staff, although busy, were friendly and we received a check back every time to ensure that our meals were good. The price of drinks was about average for an establishment like this so what is not to like.

Went for lunch here but I cannot rave their daily meals. The offer meals have only a few to choose from which makes you go to the main full price menu. We had fish and chips with peas and the peas were cold and chips not overall hot either. We did mention it when we could get someone's attention but didn't return as it would of ment eating alone. So disappointing as the meals aren't cheap.

Great Meal , Lasagne and Fish & Chips, the fish had lovely crispy batter and the Lasagne was equally as good, desert we had crumble which was a big portion and delicious Great Service , Thank you

Staying at the nearby Motorhome campsite we called in for a meal and drinks on recommendation from friends who visited last year. We weren’t disappointed, excellent food , hot fresh and tasty washed down with well priced drinks. Two dog friendly rooms and friendly and well organised staff Will definitely recommend and will return later in the year

Friendly staff, great beers, nice menu, let down by the overpowering smell from way too many toilet blocks in the gents trough type urinal, that bad you could taste it! Moved seats and there was an 'Airwick' type electronic scent spray on the wall pumping out aerosol every time you moved, also that bad you could taste it!

Cold, wintery, Wednesday evening in Brid and was looking for a dog friendly place to eat. Tried a couple of spots but they’d stopped serving at 7pm. Rang The Martonian and they were serving til 8 so we drove up. It’s clean, spacious and brightly lit and most importantly it has plenty of room for our dog. The food was banging, I had the rump steak with chips and peppercorn sauce, wasn’t expecting anything other than average pub fayre but it was anything other than! Really nicely cooked, tasty, the sauce was especially good. The wife loved it…. She had the penang curry and for once she emptied her plate, not a scrap left. Don’t miss out on a cracking meal, it’s worth the bother!

We visited this pub for our Sunday roast whilst over near Bridlington on a weekend away. From entering to leaving the staff were so lovely, polite and welcoming. We attended with a dog so sat in the dog friendly room which was well thought out with a serving window to make your orders to staff, a box of treats for your dog and they offered a plate of off cut meats for your dog at no extra cost which went down well with our dog! A really nice gesture I thought! For football fans, tvs play the games live. Overall, we had a great experience here, the food was lovely, generous portions, great sticky toffee pudding, and a vast array of drink choices. We will definitely be returning here when we’re next over this way for a weekend away. Would definitely recommend if you’re after a casual pub that’s dog friendly, clean, well priced, great food and such welcoming staff!

On arrival not quite sure being a sports bar but we had a friendly welcome from our waitress. They had a specials board one of which we chose BBQ pulled pork and cheese jacket potato and the cheese burger. Typical pub classics but an offer of 2 meals for £15 which was very good value for money. Very happy with our meals and went on to have desserts. They do a Sunday carvery which I would think popular. It’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Would recommend for good value dining.

Sunday carvery is always good - choice of meats served with roasties and yorkshire puds (& crackling with the pork sometimes!!). The veg offering get's a little monotonous (same old, same old, week after week). but we love the caulifower cheese and the roast parsnips (please don't take those away). Service is always good - no bookings taken - which seems to work well. Overall good value for money.

Went for family dinner for my birthday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service very good. Menu choices had good variety to suit everyone. Quality of meals was excellent. Saw the pub /restaurant a few times in passing as on holiday . Carvery sounded appealing so we went about 4.30pm not busy so had choices of turkey.pork.beef. various veg etc. Meat looked liked it had been boiled pale and tastless veg ok. Staff were ok . Place needs to be looked at by head office .

First time visit to this place following a recommendation. We were not disappointed with the quality/price of the food. We waited only a few minutes and got two piping hot meals (roast beef meal and steak and ale pie) which were very tasty indeed and a good variety of veg too. The meat in both meals was very tender. The pricing was average, but good value for money. We went at 2pm on a Wednesday and there was plenty of room for us, meals available from noon until 8pm. Good service, lovely staff. Plenty of free parking and disabled access. Recommended.

Wow oh wow. The food is genuinely home cooked food. The food was tasty and hot. The staff are lovely and they were very attentive. They pointed out if we ordered when we arrived we would go ahead of the 2 large tables in the restaurant. There isn't many good places to eat in the area so we are going to back quite a few times before we will go home. A big thank you to all the staff.

Popped in to the Martonian Inn whilst staying at Primrose Valley a few mile away. Can I just say that I spent 3O years as a Licensee/Restaurant Manager and always like to give a detailed review where possible and I can honestly say this Pub/Restaurant is most definitely doing something right. We ate here on a Saturday night and all our food was amazing. The Bar and Restaurant were packed to the rafters with a mix of regulars and visitors from the nearby caravan parks. The atmosphere and ambience were top notch and the staff super attentive. After dinner the Dolly Parton Tribute was in my opinion one of the best tribute acts I have ever seen in many a year. I could go on with my praise of this establishment but It would take me forever. An absolute MUST visit if your in the area and when I'm at Primrose again I will be back. 10/10

Eat here several times each time we come to Brid. Great food every day from a traditional pub menu, not an airy fairy menu like some pubs are now trying to upgrade themselves to. Good beer, friendly staff, good prices and also the best Sunday carvery on the East Coast. This place is a little hidden diamond. 5/5

Stumbled across this place accidentally after a visit to flamborough head. Wow! What a hidden gem! Lovely quaint pub with flagstone floors which were lovely and cool in the summer heat. Food was served quickly, reasonably priced and was piping hot! Massive portions including kids meals. All home made and fresh. We ordered two steak and ale pies with mash and a kids cheeseburger and chips and all the meals were delicious. Staff were attentive, polite and chatty and to top it all off, we were about to bring our dog in with us, which pleased him tremendously as he also enjoyed the tasty offerings! Definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area and we will most certainly be back again in the near future! Thank you very much!

5 adults and a 3 yr old looking at short notice for a Saturday early evening meal. Phone call confirmed they do not accept bookings so decided to take the chance. On arrival to a near packed car park we found the restaurant very busy. You are asked to find a table then wait for a waitress. We were lucky to have a large table with a high chair offered and accepted. Comprehensive menu covering all tastes including Childs menu . We were advised of a 40 min wait for food which considering how busy they were was more than acceptable. Drinks order taken early ✅ Food delicious and hot✅Plates cleared quickly ✅Very reasonably priced✅10/10 customer service✅ and quite randomly a really good music playlist in the background. It’s also has multiple TV’s doubling as a Sports Bar. For myself the attitude and performance of the whole waiting staff was exemplary. Polite and professional. The only problem I could see was that because customers are asked to find their own table there were larger tables taken up by couples might of meant us missing out.

Although the restaurant was extremely busy after the football final the food was spot on and we didnt have to wait long to be served. We opted for the carvery which was delicious with plenty of choice and lots of it too. Daughter had the chicken nuggets meal which was served very quickly. Excellent service from very attentive staff as always.

After being disappointed at some many other pubs in Bridlington centre and Flamborough we were delighted to find Martonians. We ended up eating there 3 nights and were happy with the food and service each time.

What a fantastic pub! Food was freshly cooked, the staff were very friendly and very attentive. We stayed for a week in Flambourgh and ate here twice as we wanted to return after our delicious meal. Great value, offering 2 mains for £15 in the week, freshly cooked food and delicious. Big portions and left feeling stuffed!

Was told could not reserve a table but there were tables in there with reserved on them, so that was a bit annoying. Seated and took order for drinks whilst we had a moment to look at what was on the menu for food. Unfortunately I could not have the blue cheese sauce as they didn't have any even though it was on the menu. Food came not bad size portions and tasted ok can't say it's a wow just average, nice like a lot of places. I personally didn't like the salad as it was rocket which is an acquired taste and just plain lettuce would be better than the rocket leaves. Would come again but try something different and get the 2 meal deal that's on through the week as I feel the meals be better value then.

Whilst on holiday on a very rainy day! We was looking for somewhere to eat with a 1yr old , I rang and was told no need to pre book , on arrival staff was very friendly and within minutes got us a table ready with a high chair , we was told there might be a 40 minute wait for our food due to being busy , we waited no longer then 20 minutes and everything came piping hot and the food was lovely!
