Over the years when visiting my dear Cousin Joy in Pewsey I have made a point of popping in to this wonderful bakery. Bacon roll bursting with at least four layers of tasty hot bacon, a very jammy doughnut & an Eccles cake for just over FIVE pounds in London this combo would knock you back for at least £8! The range on offer ticks every box of quality and choice. If you want a trip down memory Lane there are long forgotten delights on offer yes I must try the Lardy cake next time! Bread selection to die for and lovely welcoming staff. If you have never been to Marshalls get on down!

This is a very, very good baker's shop. IT IS NOT A CAFE. As far as I know it never has been a cafe but a family run bakery. Grab a takeaway coffee and a bacon roll on your way past. Excellent quality and value.

Popped in for a bacon roll and coffee enroute elsewhere. I came out with the above plus a loaf of wholegrain bread, a family sized apple pie and a few other bits which I didn't really need but which looked too good not to buy. Their staff were great, the bacon roll was excellent, as was the coffee. Everything was top quality. Although my wallet was a little lighter on leaving, than I anticipated, I'd be back in a flash. And thanks for the slice of bacon for my young dog. She wolfed it down.

If you are in this area, do yourself a favor, and do NOT miss out on this real local bakery. Such excellent products. Proven also by the many local people stopping in.

I always prefer to buy from independent bakers than high street chains, as I come from a baking family! The rolls, bread and cakes we bought were all reasonably priced and extremely tasty. The staff were following covid guidelines still which I appreciated as the pandemic has not gone away. Friendly staff.

Amazing traditional bakery! Stopped in while in the area and the selection was great - mixture of sweet and savoury items along with your standard bread etc. Got quite a few tasty goodies and wasn’t disappointed! Great value and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Really nice traditional bakery where the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bread/rolls/cakes and pasties are very tasty indeed and would put Greggs to shame for sure.

We always stop off here for cakes and pasties whenever we are in the area, the food is delicious and the service friendly. Their Lardy cakes (especially the extra sticky Ones ) are amazing and with the current travel restrictions I was delighted to discover they will post them. This service will keep us fed with our special treat until we can get back into the area to pick up more.

I visited this superb bakery while on a weeks holiday in the area. The Lardy cakes were highly recommended by the locals so I popped in to give them a try. The lady serving told me they were sold out and had been since about 0900am. Luckily for me they had a pack of 6 still available, what a treat Just superb these along with 2 of their delicious pasties certainly filled the gap. This is a great bakery, the bread is great as are the strudels, another superb treat. Do go there is you can it’s great.

The bread is just like it should be - full of substance and taste, not air and fillers! The other cakes pastries and savouries are all also top notch. Their award winning lardys are the best for many miles, especially the extra sticky ones. Don’t let the name put you off, unless you’re vegetarian of course! There’s free parking round the back, just off of the mini roundabout, so no excuses not to stop on your way past. Thank me later, once you’ve eaten your fill ;)

Marshall's is local landmark. with baking done on the premises of top quality bread and savouries. It is also an outstanding provider of sandwiches with vans visiting commercial premises over a wide area. Absolutely top class products - much enjoyed.

First heard about Marshall's Bakery from BBC One's Escape to the Country. This innocuous bakery was highlighted in the episode featuring Pewsey. Lardy Cakes - a Wiltshire bread tickled our curiosity. Marshall's Bakery turned out to be a simple bakery with more than lardy cakes. It wasn't the lardy cakes that kept us gravitating to the Bakery in our week long stay but the cornish pasties, the sausage rolls and most of all, the chilli pastie. Delicious to a fault The bakery had freshly bakes breads and a good variety of cakes - which we will probably try on our next UK foray
