We visited for lunch. Not much on offer. We chose toasties which were average. Not really hot enough. Asked for coffee was only offered Americano. 3 females behind the counter all yakking to each other not showing any interest in customers. We were the only ones in there. Won't be spending my money in there again.

Regularly visit M&S cafe when in town as really like their soya cappuccinos. A little bit gutted that they’ve stopped giving out a little biscuit with every hot drink. I think it was a nice little extra which set them aside from the bigger chain coffee shops. Staff are usually helpful and the service is quite fast. The selection of cakes are delicious but a little bit on the pricey side. I also enjoy their toasties and salads.

we had just moved table, to get away from a very smelly customer who was sitting across two chairs, when there was an almighty crash, cups, plates and whatever had been suddenly swept onto the floor by the aforementioned individual. And before I could turn around, it happened again to another table, precipitating a chase as the individual was followed off the premises. Staff set to , clearing up, but I was disappointied that innocent victims, clothes splattered with food and drink were not looked after at all. I do not think they were offered anything but way of help or replacements. This sums up the place, little staff initiative or friendly service. They just get on with their jobs. Otherwise, its a café in the middle of a large city.

Lovely to find a cafe in marks and spencer to stop to warm up on such a cold day . It was very busy and had to queue but it is Christmas time so that's understandable . I noticed that people ordering hot food it was not cooked from fresh but reheated but they did t seem to complain so it must be fine . The cakes were delishious .

I come here quite regularly for coffee & cake with my siblings. Lovely cakes (the carrot cake was delicious) and the tea comes in a pot, enough for two decent cups of tea. Recommended.

Nipped in here to pick up sandwiches for lunch. A bit disappointed in selection available and struggled to find anything in the food department. Found the layout confusing and cluttered

We visited M&S. cafe at Longwell Green, yesterday 4th March. This was the first time we had gone to this particular branch. We know that all M&S cafes are not cheap but we were in the store shopping so went upstairs to have a cuppa and a snack. We chose a sausage bap, and a fruit scone and two teas. The bap was £3.25 and I think the scone was £1.75. The teas were £1.95. My husband "tried " to eat the bap but the sausage was so rubbery and inedible he wasnt able to bite into the sausage. I took it back and complained, a few minutes later a young girl came back with a fresh one, no apologies, she just said "it's cooked on a timer so it should have been ok " She the went on to say the replacement had been cooked on the timer for a tea cake,!!!., presumably that would have made it OK? It was slightly better, but not a lot, it still wanted to "bounce" on the plate when he hit it with a knife. Obviously, all microwaved, but maybe they should get somebody capable of operating a microwave correctly and also employ some staff who would apologise, after all " the customer is always right "

Didn't have time to sit down and have a meal, but called in M&S to get some sandwiches to have on the move. Very impressed as the bread was nice and moist and there was plenty of filling to choose from.

Went shopping in this M&S early Sunday morning and was delighted to see two guys working in the veg department wearing dress suits and dicky bows. They looked great .

Busy M&S cafe in Bristol's Broadmead. While on a visit to Cabot circus we slipped in M&S cafe as it's just down the road. Always good coffee here and cakes. Having said that I had a Toasted bacon bap, and the wife a piece of carrot cake. Usual selection of hot drinks and filled rolls and wraps. Fruit drinks and water. Fruit scones and jam are quite filling for £2.50. You can order hot snacks and when ready will be brought to your table. Always good quality at M&S.

I should make it clear that this is about the Broadmead branch of M & S, not Cribbs Causeway. Food was excellent as was the service. Tables were cleared AND WIPED quickly and efficiently even though they were very busy. A good selection of food on the menu. Only criticism is I couldn't find a glass for my drink, I'm sure they were there as other people had them, I just don't know where!

I went with my young son and wife during the run up to Christmas where I had booked a week off work to get my Christmas shopping done. It was a good day out overall, but sadly my attempt at some respite in this Costa was thwarted by one abhorrently rude member of staff. It started when I ordered our drinks at the till. Mine and my wife's drinks were fine, but when I asked about the free 'babycchino' for my son, the woman on the till- Anna- told me they had run out of the small cups for the kids drinks and that they'd have to charge us for a whole regular size cup of milk if we wanted one! After stating the obvious that Anna could simply put a small amount of milk in a regular cup, she huffed, poured out the drinks and abruptly handed me the tray. When we sat down, the tables were messy and sticky. Granted it was busy and the run up to Christmas, but basic hygiene is not a duty that should be shirked. After finishing I needed to use the restroom, so I went to the right of the tills and queued for use of the loo. When I got in there I could hardly breathe. The smell was awful. I went straight out to the tills and spoke to Anna again to tell her that the their toilets needed attention. I got the same huffy attitude from Anna who told me that they were nothing to do with her as the toilets were managed by Primark. She didn't even contact her Primark colleagues or a manager to let them know that someone had smeared excrement on the floor in there. Truly a shocking experience.

Just went here to meet a group of my colleagues for something to eat and was told that they were doing takeaway only .I asked if they had changed the closing time as it was only 3pm and she replied that they were closing early as it had been quiet ! I ordered a takeaway coffee and phoned friends to change cafe .Photo is of the large cappuccino! Half a cup of cold coffee. Don't bother going here lots more lovely coffee shops close by.

Turned up at 1720 to have a juice but was told by a rather sullen lady that I could only have coffee as they were closing at 6. Then she over charged me.. not very welcoming.

Branch in the Royal West of England Art Gallery, Queen’s Road, Bristol. Summer infusion teas were totally stunning and, unlike most cafes, had no sugar or syrup in them. Peach/Berry was superb and the Earl Grey (tho obviously a bit sour due to its nature) was also v good. (1 other flavour I didn’t try). Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Lovely venue (inside the Gallery building) with metal seats (I think it was) & small tables outside. NOTE a year’s Pass is currently £16 to visit exhibitions as much as 1 wants, so only about £5 or less each time.
