The new version of m&s chocolate crunch cereal is awful and tasteless. Why do they go and ruin an excellent product. It used to be a tasty ,good quality product but now they have taken the sugar out and substituted the milk and white chocolate curls for bigger ones that fall off your spoon . They used to rank highest in chocolate crunchy cereal against other supermarkets but now would be way down the list. M&s please stop changing your good time tested products for inferior ones.

A small cafe but a decent offering of choice. Especially love the jacket potato with Chilli. Nice choice of cakes.

Visited on the Sunday afternoon before Christmas, it was very busy, but the manager had ensured that there were plenty of staff. We were directed to a free parking spot, staff showed us where we could find vegan food and the queues for the tills were managed so you went to the next available. Well done to all the staff who were exceptionally helpful and good spirited a the end of what must have been a long and busy day.

My wife and I came to this store this morning for breakfast and there is absolutely nothing gluten free on the menu or in the fridges. All I was able to eat was a packet of crisps. Come on M&S... Sort ry yourselves out.

Staff here are very friendly and helpful towards customers with mobility issues etc. The coffee and tea are lovely. Not a massive range of cakes but the ones they have are delicious - the hand made mince pies this year were excellent. Best of all have a bacon roll - ask for it well done. I would give the cafe 5 stars but it's always freezing cold, as someone thought it a good idea to put the café right by the food chillers. Welcome during the heatwave this year, but I prefer not to have to take a scarf with me if I'm planning to have a coffee!

Had scrambled egg on toast, £4.50. Two slices of brown toast (white available), four pats of butter and a large pile of scrambled egg. Toast was fine but scrambled egg not so. Same colour and consistency throughout. No creaminess or seasoning detected. Pats of butter made it more digestible. Disappointed. Pleasant service in a functional setting.

Yes, it's a cafe of a supermarket, but it's a good one. They have lots of seating, which is clean and well kept, and a good range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and things like that. They also have some nice cakes and desserts. Particularly useful if you have a hungry child who just needs a quick sandwich or something while you can have a nice coffee (which is served with a biscuit - not that you'll get to eat it, if you have children with you they will want it :-) )

DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES First and last time using this place. Totally ignorant on food safety and handling rules. Ordered a doner meal, asked for chili sauce. Wife saw her putting wrong sauce on. She clearly only owned up as she saw my wife was watching. I specifically asked for the meal to be remade. Not my error and I said I didn't want the other sauce. She grudgingly walks back to the area the doner meat is. Within 30 seconds she's back. I asked is that fresh, you've not just chucked the bits away to be promised no. I asked twice as there was no way she had remade it. Got home, no drink which we paid for. Box is covered in the wrong sauce. Meat has the wrong sauce still. Dinner in the bin. Imagine if this was an allergen issue, rather than just a preference? Totally unacceptable, dangerous and against all good practice. The attitude of the guy serving was rude, had to repeat my small order several times and he clearly has no customer service skills. Won't be returning.

We went to the Jolly Farmer for a family birthday dinner on a Sunday. There was only chicken roast left so we ordered a variety of dishes and they were all really good. We would definitely go back.

Had a lovely meal with friends - our server Molly was especially helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was fun but not too loud, so we could easily talk. We liked the decor and everything was very clean. The only thing that wasn’t top notch was the Hunters Chicken, which was smaller than expected and a bit tough. We could have sent it back, as our server was happy to bring another, but the two who ordered that dish decided they would rather eat with the rest of us instead of having to wait for another meal to be prepared. Still, it was a very enjoyable evening for all.
