Marks and Spencer Cafe in Crawley

There was rubbish on floor like crisps, Normally it would be a good idea that when the tables are cleared and there is stuff on the floor it should be swept at the same timthe tables are cleared Dish washer still not working so customers were served with a cup and no saucer and a teapot

Just popped in for a cup of tea, friendly and fast service with a smile, clean tables and quiet area

We popped in for a sandwich and a coffee. Of all the tables only one had no half eaten meals / empty coffee cups etc on it and we sat there. We were there for about an hour an a half and nobody cleared the table next to us at all. A few other tables were cleared after we complained to a staff member inside but the clearing didn't last long. The whole scene looked awful and would, I think, put prospective customers off. There was no excuse as inside was very similar and there were very few customers. So M&S, your food might be quite good but your table clearing skills leave a lot to be desired and in this Covid world it's just not good enough.

Love having a Cafe in Marks and Spencer, as nice and handy for grabbing a hot or cold snack and drink.

I frequently meet my pals here in my way home from work and I get so frustrated that they have always run out of the food items. Once again no Tuna jacket potatoes, currently I am on a weight watchers diet so I can’t pick the fish and chips options etc and there is so much tuna on the shelf in the store. I had sparkling water and for the last two weeks I managed to get the last one. My friend had the mushroom stroganoff and enjoyed that. My last moan is that the tables are very rarely cleared, come on M&S pull your socks up and get the ordering of food supplies correct, it’s not that hard with all the food next to the cafe!

We visit the M&S cafe on occasions for a quick snack. The standard of the food served is up to the normal standard expected of the Food Hall downstairs. The Soup and sandwiches are good value and the seating facilities are reasonable. The staff make good efforts to keep the empty tables cleared and clean. Would I recomment it to others, Yes for a snack and cupper.

We always stop off here before we check into our hotel for snacks for Lunch or Dinner, much cheaper than eating at the hotel or using the mini bar, good selection

At least once a week for a tea or coffee or lunch, very pleasant ladies always give a warm 'hello' even when run off their feet, plenty of seating, can be a bit chilly when air con up too high though! All in all a nice place to pop into

Well worth a lunch, snack or dinner, menus good and change with the season, lovely soups and desserts, great choices. We enjoy our lunchs every time we visit, great team of ladies who serve us with a big smile .

Well done. Your cafe is just delightful and the food is lovely. The food shopping part is my fav as it never let's u down. Cashiers are very helpful and friendly. Whenever we stay at a hotel in Gatwick we stock up with food, sandwiches, crisps, water, wine and chocolate, good selection here.

We visited M & S to get some retail therapy and decided to try the cafe after reading good reviews on other locations. Situated on the top floor the area was large, light & spacious. The queue was very long, 15 mins wait, but when we got to the till a card advised that they had a new team training & thanked us for our patience. We had sandwiches, cake & tea which were all tasty & large portions. The tables were grubby & as we sat I watched a staff member wander round clearing tables very slowly & then left the tables dirty & not wiped. Quite disappointed with the whole experience. Very average M & S.

We decided to drop in and have afternoon at M&S Cafe. It was really good value for money £12.95 for 2. This included, a selection of sandwiches, scones, jam and cream, 3 mini cakes and a choice of teas or filter coffee. It was delicious and we both enjoyed and would highly recommend and go back again. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Best bakery and grocery. I visit at least 3 to 4 times a week. Everything is nicely placed. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Come here often with my elderly mum as it's her fave! We have nice sandwiches and coffee! It's useful for me and my mum as there's a very handy, very cheap. very nearby car park on The Boulevard, RH10 1UX!

Popped in for a quick coffee. I always go this marks n Spencer's to buy English produce for my friends in the south of France before I travel from nearby gatwick airport.Lovely cafe. Needs a mini facelift to keep it modern.Great staff and tasty coffee got me in the mood for shopping.

The selection of food is really disappointing and the decor is poor. If you just want a cup of tea it's fine.

This is my preferred place to go for a coffee when out on my own, or if I'm meeting my Mum. Always spotless, with lovely helpful staff and serving the best produce around. Failsafe lunch. Well done, always so good.

I always like an M&S Cafe if out shopping and don't fancy one of the other high street coffee shops. This one in Crawley hit the mark for our tired shopping feet so we could refresh.Lovely coffees and paninis which were heated then bought to our table by a friendly member of staff. The tables and floors were clean, the cutlery and serviettes were well stocked and when I dropped my fork on the floor the staff quickly came and replaced it for me without me asking, so, above and beyond service which was great! Nice relaxing atmosphere and great food, as Marks and Spencer's food always is!

My mum and I come here a lot for hot chocolate, coffee and a toastie and it's always soooo lovely. Staff are always super friendly and food is good too. Reasonably priced and will be returning :)

Called in with a work colleague on our way to the station. There is a large seating area and there was plenty of seating choice. Staff were pleasant and efficient and we were served within a few minutes. My roll, although not buttered, was a decent size and there was a good portion of crispy bacon. We were offered sauces but I would have preferred them to have been already available so I could just help myself. I think my earl grey and my roll were good value and I'll visit again next time I'm in the area.

Visited during xmas shopping trip.Lovely and clean with very friendly staff and comfy seats. Prices were normal range fro a nice cup of coffee and a hot chocolate.

Food is what you would expect, M&S quality. Takes a while to get it and they don't always have what you want but plenty of seating space and cheaper than a restaurant.

Stopped off for lunch during a Christmas Shopping spree.There is nothing intrinsically bad about the place, but its a tea room masquerading as a cafe restaurant with very little in the way of fresh cooked food on offer. The bulk of the fayre is pre-packaged and re-heated to order; the taste is consistent with this. It also accounts for the long queues at peak times. Seating is pretty cramped, but adequate.On the plus side, its convenient, clean and at least consistently bland. Against this its certainly not cheap and there are better alternatives in the town.

This cafe has plenty of seating but, oh my, it takes so long to get served! I think M & S could learn a thing or two from the numerous other coffee shop chains in the town which serve customers so much quicker!
