Great little cafe for lunch. Wide choice of tasty sandwiches, panini and baguettes. Great coffee. Friendly service. Definitely go again.

The food has gone backwards, and everything is deep-fried in terms of breakfast. Deep fried cheap sausages, the mushrooms are deep fried. Beans are cheap and have no flavour. Ketchup is watwred down..

Quick service. Good tea and coffee. Nice poached eggs on toast plus full English breakfast. Can sit outside too in market square.

I have ordered a club sandwich which arrived not on brown bread but on rye bread after a wait of 40 minutes .My husband had his dish served almost immediately but looking and tasting equally average. This was a slop of a dish prepared with four dices of tiny ckicken bits,sad and out of date lettuce and a suspiciously looking piece of bacon. The sheer arrogance of such places is unbelievable as we are required to pay in advance. I could not eat this ,please avoid this place. The service matches the meal in terms of its mediocrity.

Simple can sometimes disappoint of course, we just wanted some good honest grub. We got that in plentiful supply. Excellent value for money to boot.

Breakfast for one table took almost an hour to arrive and then, not all at the same time. They seem to have no idea how to run a cafe, plenty of staff, but no clue. It is filthy upstairs. I have no idea how the place has a 4 star food rating. Avoid.

I don't know if it was bad luck or if this is how they deal with their customers on a regular basis. 1.1. I ordered food from them to take home, the first time they didn't accept the order, they have a lot, after an hour they accepted my order. I did it again on their recommendation. Online payment went through, I waited another hour and the food is nowhere to be found. When I called them, they told me that they didn't have a driver and that I should go get food. They ended up canceling the order, but then didn't refund the money

A busy morning, but still had to wait over an hour for a set breakfast. This is purely because of the one "chef" who only cooks one order at a time. You'd think as he has several orders for breakfasts, he'd be able to cook more than 2 rashers of bacon at a time. Obviously this is beyond his capabilites. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have eaten in many establishments in my life, but this English Breakfast was the tastiest I ever had, not just in St Neots, or Cambridgeshire, but in the whole of the UK. I hope it stays like that for a long time. I ate there a couple of years ago and I was blown away, this time it was just as good.

Dropped in at 8.15 for a breakfast. I was warmly welcomed and the chef who took my order. A coffee was promptly served at my table and the cooked breakfast appeared very quickly. It was all freshly cooked and well presented an a hot plate. Two eggs nicely fried with soft yolks and not floating in fat! Two slices of back bacon a little over cooked, 2 pale sausages, 3 slices of freshly fried tomatoes, lots of sliced mushrooms. This was accompanied by 2 slices of buttered toast. All very acceptable at this price. All for less than £8.00 + coffee……Amazing value.

A good honest cafe. Service is good, breakfast (brunch) fine, sitting outside in the sun chatting, coffee, all good.

So we headed to the market square for a late breakfast . Met some friends and sat and had a coffee . Went to order late am told be over 1/2 hour okay I said. Going in order, so taking each order in time order which is fine. Just coming up to the 1/2 time and a chap came to the door and order an egg sandwich to takeaway!! You may think that he would be behind our order In The queue!! No no he waited ten minutes and the his egg sandwich appeared!!! We were still sat waiting for an egg and bacon sandwich!!! Won’t get my custom again!!!

On a warm morning it does not get much better than sitting in the garden with a fresh Turkish breakfast from The Market Restaurant.

I have no idea how this place has any decent reviews. It was atrocious. We had a burger, which was the best of a bad bunch, a bacon baguette that was genuinely so chewy it hurt my jaw and a chicken roll which had no butter or mayonnaise and the driest processed chicken imaginable. It took 35 minutes to prepare, which is weird, because it wasn’t exactly busy. We will never go back, awful

Went here for breakfast and were tempted by the set breakfast menus. Not the best quality ingredients but for the price very hard to beat. Big portions, well cooked, friendly service. Enjoyed our visit and would recommend, would happily return. Due to current covid situation the carpark in the square right out front is free all the time. We sat outside and there were plenty of tables spread out at decent distance from each other.

I ordered the supermax breakfast which was basically a full English with chips and hash brown. The food was delicious and they were very generous with the portion. My wife ordered a Turkish breakfast which looks very appealing and scrumptious. The staff were also very friendly defo will visit again

Visited for breakfast today with two small children one only 6 months, staff very friendly and welcoming, food was great aswell

This is a no nonsense well run little cafe and was hugely popular on Sunday morning when had breakfast here. Lots of different set breakfasts, all inclusive of a drink (“proper” coffee) and excellent value. Everything cooked fresh and good quality. Could be worth a detour next time we are in the area plus, on a Sunday, you can park for free right outside. No complaints whatsoever. Perfect

Beautiful sunny morning and lots of tables outside - don't worry if weather not good lots of seating inside too - two floor. We shared a Turkish breakfast - plenty for two and absolutely delicious.

This place is superb value for money. We have been numerous times and never had a bad meal. It is cash only by the way. Very reasonably priced. Service with a smile and a wide choice of food. Always impressive.

Visited here for a quick breakfast. Order food at the counter. The staff are friendly and it has a nice feel when you see locals come in and be greeted in a nice way. The food was nice, as it should be in a cafe! They checked if any of the milkshakes had nut additives which they didn’t. Will come back for a quick breakfast one day.

We had a really nice lunch at a very reasonable price indeed. Simply couldn't fault it. I had a jacket potato with chilli and mushrooms and it came with a really nice salad. I know for certain that I will go here again.

We most definitely have a place where. We would go here anytime for breakfast. Simply cannot find fault. Freshly cooked and served hot. Very reasonably priced and good quality coffee. My current favourite for breakfast.

Really amazing breakfast the atmosphere is really great there is really lots of options you can choose ,the outside might look bit old but the delicious foods ,I just can’t it makes me eat it all the time ,I went there with some freind and it was such a deal with large amount of food I would recommend!!!

I ordered a Greek salad costing £5.10 which was the average price for all their main meals on the menu. When it came it was a small pudding bowl of lettuce one tomatoes a few slivers of feta and 6 green olives. Not even a side dish portion. When I said it was unacceptable the proprietor was belligerent and said I could have a slice of bread! Eventually got a small plate of chips. The staff were indifferent and obviously the cafe was run for the benefit of their Nationality.

Great range of breakfasts good prices and everything cooked to order. Friendly staff , nice to sit outside, would recommend and next visit to St Neots will definitely be back for breakfast.

Brilliant cafe for breakfasts, Rob the manager is very friendly and helpful, good extensive menu, the ideal place to meet and eat.

Stopped here a few times - good food, friendly service and nice surroundings. Lots of different options, and some unusual variations.

We have bee here a lot but wont be going back Full breakfast . Tea was stewed and undrinkable Hot chocolate too thick to drink Toast mouldy. Bacon dried up . Sausages cheap and nasty . Charged £8.50 . ,not on .

Stopped in for a breakfast. Very wide range of choice. Came with toast and a drink which made it good value. The food was good. A tad greasy, however that's not always a bad thing when having a fry up.

Looking for somewhere for Tea and Coffee while passing through came across this cafe. Its well placed in the Market Square just over the river bridge. They serve a good cup of tea and coffee, and the food they were serving looked good too.

Immaculately clean, good selection of food and service with a smile. Well priced and extremely popular with the locals. I'll be back for sure :)

OK, it looks greasy and old from the outside, and it continues this look inside, no way to say otherwise. But at the end of the day it is a place without pretensions, and if you want honest good food at a great price, that is exactly what you get here.

Good value restaurant/cafe with extensive menu. Some Turkish dishes. Lovely halloumi salad. Also breakfast items/kids menu/spuds/sandwiches/roast/coffee/milkshakes

Stopped by here when on business in St Neots. Looking at the outside, you would forgiven for thinking this was a greasy spoon cafe, but it is not! I had a roast dinner and dessert. They were large portions, very tasty and ridiculously low priced. The staff were all friendly and helpful. So long as you favour good food over appearances, this is the place for you.

You get a good breakfast there, good portions and always hot, pretty clean and good service, never tried anything else other than the breakfast.

Only ever had breakfast at this cafe on a weekend but it's allways been very busy that tells you it's good if you want a nice breakfast the place to go.

We have visited this eatery many times during this year and have never been disappointed. The breakfasts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious. There are many choices of breakfast combinations, but you can change it to fit what you fancy! Always two rounds of toast on the side too. If the weather is good, there is nothing nicer than sitting outside in the Market Square watching the world go by. We have been in big groups and just the two of us and have always had a great brekky. Highly recommended.

I take my teenage kids here for a breakfast at least once a month. The breakfast menu is huge and can be changed to meet your own tastes. Is always cooked fresh to order and is the best breakfast in the area by far

Classic 'greasy spoon' café. Fried breakfast and a big mug of tea. Fish & chips were overcooked but the breakfast was excellent.
