Market Hall Victoria in City of London, Westminster

Decided to pop into Victoria Market Halls after seeing it all over social media. I really like the concept—big fan of the Tooting Market vibe where you’ve got to be as good as (or better than) the next trader or you’ll soon disappear. Two floors of food options with a bar on each, plus the knockout roof terrace that really comes into its own when the sun’s out. It’s a slick, professional setup, but there’s definitely room to squeeze in a few more food kiosks. More variety would up the appeal and make it even more of a destination. I went for the Black Bear burger while my wife ordered a poke bowl from Pole the Bear—both were delicious and the service was fast and efficient. Overall, really impressed by the space, the fit-out and the service. Planning to check out one or two of the other locations over the next few weeks. Added bonus—it’s dog friendly!

Perfect place to meet with friends or stop before the theatre or cinema. So many options to choose from. The Malaysian place is delicious. The roti canai is my personal favourite. The Mexican is decent and I love black bear burgers. The food really is the highlight. The seating is cafeteria style with communal tables. My only complaint is that the toilets are never in a great state in the evening.

You can try Southeast Asian food outside. It feels good and tastes good. The only pity is that the music is too loud and makes people feel irritated while eating.

This place is such a cool and fun establishment with plenty of food selections. I would highly recommend going to it.

I think so this is an amazing place for a get together as it has lots of option ranging from Malaysian to Mexican, burgers to Tacos . Great place to come when people with different taste are there. Not alot of vegetarian options just that draw back .

We had food from the Thai and Malaysia place. Lots of choices. There was also a Taco place and a couple of bars.

Visited Market Halls Victoria and had a great time overall. The food was really good, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Service at the food vendors was quick and efficient, which was impressive given how busy the place was. That said, the bars had long queues, which made grabbing a drink a bit of a wait. The atmosphere was lively but definitely on the loud side, so it might not be ideal if you’re looking for a more relaxed or quiet spot. The location is excellent, right by the station, which makes it super convenient to meet up with friends. It was very busy and buzzing, which added to the energy but also meant limited seating at peak times. Overall, a great spot for casual dining with a fun vibe, just be ready for the crowds and some noise!

Tasty food and quick bar service!

This review is for Butchies - Buttermilk Fried Chicken which is ABSOLUTELY hands down the WORST £11 spent on TASTELESS so called "Fried buttermilk chicken tenders"!!! The person who prepared the chicken clearly does not taste the food! As there was ZERO taste!! I mean Zero Salt! , ZERO pepper! it tasted of absolutely NOTHING! There was also an unpleasant texture to the chicken, I can only describe as too soft as if it was not fresh or pre-boiled and left aside prior to being assaulted with flour and a fryer! All I can say to the person who prepared this is and the owners is - google a recipe for REAL buttermilk chicken taking note that there should be the addition of mustard, salt, pepper etc added to the flour for FLAVOUR!! And while there google a recipe for REAL buffalo sauce from places like Meatliquor! (Sauces are an additional cost between £1-2!) It was unfortunate that I was with friends discussing a very sensitive topic, so I was unable/unwilling to create a scene to disturb the conversation to go back to the kiosk/server and complain about the food or take a photo. I now fully regret that I didn't! PLEASE, PLEASE Save yourself the unpleasantness to your tastebuds and either throw your hard earned £12 (Gross in the attached bill sums up the meal!) directly in the bin or go elsewhere! My local Morley’s does better chicken than this at a fraction of the price!! Market Halls NEVER AGAIN. The quality of food preparation is SUBPAR!! This place was better as a club!

Great good spot for cheap eat near victoriana coach station

This has become the automatic meeting place for my friends and I when we're in London for work. Easy to reach, a large variety of food that caters to everyone in our group, and a nice - if limited - beer selection.

A lively food and drink venue, close to Apollo and Palace theatre

Convenient food hall near Victoria station. Many food choices. We had the roti with beef rendang and taco, not bad. There’s live music on certain days. Second visit came for a quick dinner before watching Hamilton. Very busy on Wednesday evening.

I recommend the Black Bear Burger...the best by far and super nice people...

When the doors were held open it was an icy blast which made the experience less than pleasant. With the choice of outlets everyone’s tastes could be matched. If I go again I’d choose to sit upstairs.

Decided on this place to meet up with some friends and it was Great. Good atmosphere, all the staff are friendly and helpful, food was delicious. Great night! Special shout out to Talha, such a sweet and friendly guy, please give him a rise! Didn't catch her name but the manager (We were there Saturday night, 1st Feb) was professional but very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Rammed on a Thursday, food not as good as it looked, over-priced and generally just not a nice place to be. It does have a few different food options, but neither I tasted were particularly good - we threw most of one away.

Este lugar de 2 pisos y en la azotea siempre está ocupado, pero normalmente puede colocarse cerca de un pronto para salir de la mesa y estar listo para sumergirse. On a Monday night all the food places close at 9pm, so bear in mind the opening hours aren't really accurate on a Monday.

The Victoria Market Hall is definitely not to be missed! It features a variety of popular food stalls, including Brewdog and Eggslut. They also have a rooftop area and live bands, creating a fantastic atmosphere. It’s an excellent spot for a gathering!

Lovely place to visit when you're unsure of what to eat! Good variety in cuisine, plenty of covered seating spaces, decent washroom. It's self service. It was a bit crowded and they seemed a bit short staffed to clear out tables and keep it tidy.

The Thai joint upstairs is amazing..finally spicy Thai food with an authentic flavour.

Fuimos un sábado y estaba muy ocupado, excepto por la cápsula de vidrio frío en el techo, así que nos sentamos allí en lugar de esperar a que una mesa saliera gratis abajo. Había calentadores y mantas disponibles, pero la temperatura no fue ayudada por una corriente de gente abriendo las puertas correderas para ir a la terraza a tomar una foto con el teatro Wicked de fondo y luego volver a entrar. Algunos no cerraron las puertas. Mi marido nos pidió comida al mismo proveedor. Ambos disfrutamos - pad thai y thai curry verde. Los pisos inferiores tienen más ambiente, son más cálidos y cercanos a los vendedores, pero para un almuerzo rápido estábamos bien. Los baños estaban bien. Volveríamos si en la zona de nuevo.

Black Bear Burger It was particularly quiet, but it was late afternoon (16:00). There were 7 patrons on site, including 1 toddler and an infant with their respective mothers. The burger was tasty, according to my companion. The fries were barely warm but edible. Although he only ate a few. I ate the rest on principle. They were not cheap. The highlight of the 'meal' was the oreo milkshake, which my teenage companion enjoyed, including the ensuing "brainfreeze." However, with the exorbitant price tag of £25, was it worth it? A resounding NO! We could have had hot, tastier, better, and cheaper at another establishment.

Very busy and difficult to get a seat. You can order food from various stands and there is a spacious bar. Food was good we had a poke bowl.

Good large seating area and a variety of outlets selling delicious international food. Great spot to try some small dishes and wash them down with a few pints at the bars inside, right opposite Victoria Station.

This is really a hidden gem of Victoria station. I’ve been to Victoria so many times and never knew this existed until recently. It has a lively and fun atmosphere, with a wide range of cuisines from around the world a bar and light music sometimes. The only improvement point would be to have healthier food options available. If there was at least one really healthy focused food store, I think the level of variety would be perfect. When you order, they usually give you a buzzer that rings when the food is ready and you can collect .

Love the blend of cuisines, every one feels authentic. Had the best hummus from Le Bab and wonderful Thai Khao Sou from Krapow

Great options for eating, can sometimes be a pain getting a seat but generally it’s okay. The only negative is the dominance of brew dog for drinks offset by the presence of gopals corner and also df tacos amongst other great places in here

I came in near Christmas time, so the atmosphere wasn’t amazing. It’s one of the smaller market halls Oxford Circus, and Canary wharf are much bigger. They do have the rooftop pods as well, which is a nice touch which the others don’t. Lots of food options had tacos they were good quite big actually.

Expensive food but lots of choice. Service can be a little slow but a great venue for groups who don't have to all eat the same thing.

I love the concept of this place, tons to choose from. However, the bar service was slow, and they closed one of the bars for about 2 hours. The music was also too loud at times. People could not have a conversation.

To the waitress working in the morning: your behavior was utterly unacceptable. You stooped to an appallingly low level by calling us out for having coffee from another place, despite the fact that we also purchased coffee at the market. We had to make a last-minute stop to feed our baby, yet you displayed no empathy or basic decency. Instead, you were rude, condescending, and had the audacity to lecture us as if we needed a lesson from you. I will ensure everyone hears about this experience so they think twice before visiting and supporting a place where staff treats customers in such a disgraceful manner. The manager, on the other hand, was kind and understanding, and I hope he takes appropriate action to address this employee’s appalling attitude. No one deserves to be treated the way you treated us.

Lots of variety to choose from here! I opted for the tacos which were very tasty, although quite a small portion for the price. The buzzer system is very convenient and effective, meaning you don't have to wait around for ages in queues, and can simply come up to the till as soon as the buzzer goes off to collect your food

The food is good but I find the place overpriced.

The unnecessarily loud DJ spoils your meal and means you go deaf after work. Eating food is awkward.

Massive thank you to the staff there tonight - my auntie happened to be poorly after a long journey and the staff were so helpful and friendly, went out their way to assist us. Sorry for the mess! Excellent food and drink of course :)

Es una pena que los guardias de seguridad no tengan nada mejor que hacer que acosar a una familia por su hijo usando su orinal mientras intentan entrenar al orinal. Diciéndome que hay un ascensor a una instalación de cambio de bebé cuando mi hijo de entrenamiento de orina no tiene concepto de tiempo y aguantar es absurdo y el comportamiento amenazante mientras trataba de cuidar de nuestro hijo y almorzar era abominable.

Un montón de selección, reventar con gente muy vivo lugar, buena parada como. Bueno. id volver y probar algunos. más si tuviera la oportunidad solo allí dos veces y el mismo puesto de comida que pedimos. CR era agua limpia. Tranquilo. Buena multitud.

A 'go to' destination if you're in the Victoria area of London. A varied eating experience for people on the go or tourists looking for a short 'time out' before the next attraction. Great food at very reasonable prices. There's even an extensive roof top balcony for dining, drinks or watching the street and people below. Highly recommended.

There is a wide variety of restaurants on site, with access to very clean toilets. Perfect for resting after a long walk.

What looked like a pub turned out to be a food court. There is a bar for drinks, but also some stands that offer a variety of food. The prices are London standard, which is a bit expensive for Europeans. But it's a nice atmosphere and the selection is correspondingly large. The proximity to Victoria Station is a plus.

I really enjoyed the food and the service was really quick however the live music was too loud and I could barely hear the conversation or even myself talk.

Friendly, busy atmosphere, very relaxed. I always go for the Malaysian food - really tasty and very good value. The only thing I would wish for is to have places to plug in my computer to do some work.

Great little collection of eateries.. reasonably cheap too Had Rendang from Gopal’s Corner, roti was nice, rice a few clumps and Rendang ok, has curry base, not just Rendang, I prefer without curry (marinaded ?) still good. Wife had BUTCHIES fried chicken tenders, very nice, perfectly cooked / tender Unfortunately last day in UK, otherwise I'd try some of the spicy ones 😭

I used to be a regular at this spot, but sadly, things have changed. The atmosphere just isn’t the same anymore. Tables are often left dirty, and the toilets are in need of serious cleaning. The food quality has noticeably dropped as well. If you’re looking for food to-go, the Thai restaurant upstairs is decent, but even the once-great Malaysian place has lost its charm—quality, quantity, and taste have all declined. With so many other great options around Victoria, I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere. The management needs to make big improvements, and unfortunately, the bar staff could work on being friendlier.

The roof top bar appears to be where the new bar staff who have received no training are loitering with intent to ruin your order! Not their fault, management should know this

First had a cocktail on the roof terrace and then sat down in the cozy space with a self-composed sushi bowl. Lots of choice of different food options. No service.

Fantastic mix of bars, fast food and live music. The rooftop bar offers a great view of the hustle and bustle of Victoria Station.

Nice place for an evening of drinks and food with a group. Cost of a glass of wine or pint of beer is fairly extortionate. Narrow isle on the top floor and you get hassled by security to remain in you seat. Table service is quick and great food selection down in the halls. Toilets need cleaning more regularly though.

Good foot court style market with mixed food options. Had a cracker of a curry on a drizzly day! Worth a look if in the area
