Had our turkey from Ritchie at market deli for Christmas stuffed turkey crown was absolutely delicious the best turkey we have ever had ...Thank you so much for such wonderful 5star service xxxx

Starters were nice and the curries (karahi chicken and Keema and peas) were excellent. Staff forgot my drink at one point and no ice was offered. My daughter was brought a glass of milk and was warm. Nice interior and friendly enough staff. Fairly expensive - slightly more than Akbars.

Great food. But...It took an hour before we had our starters and another 40 minutes before we got our mains. It took four requests to get our drinks. The waiter dropped cutlery onto our table and a missing fork handed to my wife by the tines! It was as though they had no training at all. Weird.

A very celebratory place!! Our server, Talha, was outstanding!!

I come here all the time for lunch. Great prices, tasty food and the staff are so helpful and efficient. It’s always busy here but the staff behind the counters always make sure someone’s being served. We love you Market Deli!

The worst restaurant ever experienced in Leeds. The food quality was so bad and tasteless. The venue was cold with no heating. The service was terrible, the staff were very inexperienced with not even a warm welcome. I had to keep calling the staff several times to place the order. I don’t usually put bad comments but this restaurant deserves it. I was very disappointed overall and wish if I had spent my dinner & money elsewhere.

Great location at the docks and lovely atmosphere. The service was splendid and the Food recommendations fantastic. Worth going too. Be aware they don’t service alcohol.

Antes de esto, iría a otros lugares de comida rápida como McDonald's, Greg's, etc., que tienden a ser caros y todavía se sienten picantes después. Tengo un gran apetito y desde aquí consigo una tina llena de pollo y arroz y 2 grilletes de pollo separados para 5. 50 que me deja lleno por horas. Genial si trabajas cerca.

I cannot thank Andrew and his team enough for the effort they put into the food they lovingly prepare, and the marvellous service they offer. So many of my friends and family are now customers because I can’t stop raving about them. They have sorted out my Christmas and Easter meats for many years and they are always there when I need them, from my lunch to helping me swerve the evening cooking because the Chinese Chicken Curry or Lasagne hits the spot with the family every time. Thank you x

Love this place. It has everything I need for all year round , it’s fab. The salads are beautiful and fresh , the meats are cooked and cut to perfection and ready meals are filling and far better quality and value than those you buy elsewhere. They even deliver my Christmas stuff. I can’t be bothered with the daunting task of parking up , grabbing my turkey , honey roast ham , top side of beef and all the trimmings which have become family favourites. 10 out of 10 !

Great choice of high quality food cooked to exactly the spice level requested with spot no service. There's no alcohol at Mumtaz, which some may find odd, but actually it made the occasion better as we focused on talking and eating rather than just getting drunk. However, s greater choice of alcohol free beer would be good, such as Bredog's Nanny State.

With each and every visit to Cardiff Centre, I have to make a visit to The Market Deli. The team are really friendly, they talk to you like a person rather than faking it with the usual insincere customer service you get elsewhere, and the food is always a winner. The Chinese curry with rice or noodles, or both, is like a signature dish, and recognisable to many. I work on the outskirts of Cardiff, and last week when I was sat at my desk face-bombing my Chinese curry, a passing colleague remarked: “that looks and smells like the curry you get from The Market Deli”. He had no idea I was a customer and vice versa. I have sampled much of what they have, and it’s all excellent, but I always go back to the curry. Comfort food at its best.

Cannot compare with Mumtaz when it comes to asian food and grilled chicken especially!

Tried the chicken Versace and halloumi cheese from 'Mumtaz differently' menu and the halloumi cheese was so good you could eat it on its own.

Interior is really stunning, on my first visit I was more interested in the decor than the food but changed after my first bite of the karahi fish and trying the chicken biryani which was better than I expected!

Came looking for delicious food, nice ambiance and fast service which we got and much more. Manager was rather pleasant and let us try the piano, not that we were any good.

My go to play for whenever I do a group booking. Grilled food is always lovely and tastes excellent and zesty drinks too.

Restaurant with the same name as me so it's bound to be great (just kidding - about myself not the restaurant lol its quite good). Gigantic portions of food that will have you full for days, service with a smile, sensational juices and a decor that will leave you stunned.

Tremendous place, lovely food and amazing staff (they don't rush you the slightest!). All with a nice of the dock if sit by the window!

Everything about this place, from the waiters to the entrance to the food is five stars. Waiters look really professional with their waistcoats and my food was finished with bits of garlic and lemon which was quite nice.

If you've ever had asian food before then you must know that this restaurant does it best. Great tasting food and that too at a good price.

A restaurant where you want to take your time (not just because of the free parking) and enjoy not only your food but the gorgeous aroma which comes from the kitchen, freshly made lamb and even had a go at making my own curry but I guess I'll leave it to Mumtaz next time...Commend Mumtaz for providing a high chair for my one year old.

Definitely the place to go if you're looking to try out some authentic asian food! Nicely done lamb and chicken and finished with a splash of lemon. In-house desserts are a unique touch!

Came here by myself as I wanted to see what the place was like and I was not disappointed. Quite happy with the chicken jalfrezi and washed it down with a nice 'Sunset in Goa'. Polite staff.

Speedy service with a smile! We weren't rushed whilst we were eating which gave us time to enjoy the river. Food came hot and the drinks cold came ice cold. Surprised that they seated all seven of us. Gave the piano a go too!

Beautifully kept restaurant with an aroma that you can't get enough of. Staff are there when you need them and you aren't waiting long for your food. Nice view of the river aire too. So many deserts to choose from you'll be there for a while!

Quite nice, ordered the lamb which came sizzling hot and was well done with a hint of a lamb. Service was quick and hassle free.

Much respect to Mumtaz for making us feel very welcome. We booked via Facebook 30 minutes before turning up so were glad that we managed to get a table and such hospitality! An interior that you can't get enough of (piano too), lovely food, juices and delightful service and staff.

Restaurant DOES NOT sell alcohol but wait till you try a mumtaz-styled drink (WITH the Pakistani cuisine!) It will BLOW your mind.

Large portions of food so do come with friends or family otherwise you'll be here for a while! Lovely food and lovely staff who serve you on time no matter how busy the place becomes.

Freshly squeezed and zesty juices with mouth watering food that does not make you want to leave. Quite large portions of food and that karahi fish was something else.

Stunning interior and delicious food. The staff seem to notice you straight away and are ever so polite. Whilst waiting for my food I couldn't help but notice the large chandeliers which made me feel as if I was dining in Mayfair London.

What hit the nail on the head with me for this restaurant was the service provided by staff. They noticed us as soon as we walked in, had us seated at a table within 10 minutes of arriving and had our food with us within 25 minutes of being seated. They also kept our three small children entertained with balloons and colouring books which they gave. The food (a huge variety of dishes to choose from!) looked and tasted lovely.

Very nice restaurant in the Leeds area with friendly staff and a view of the river aire. Amazing food which you are not kept waiting for.

If I enjoyed anything more than the food it would be the Sunset in Goa (the drink available at this restaurant, not the actual the sunset though it is nice).<br /><br />The grilled chicken tikka was hands down the best asian dish I have had in my life (I grew in an asian neighbourhood and they would share their food with me in Ramadan) so it is safe to say that I have experienced asian cooking!

The food was outstanding. Lovely customer service and food was very quick and didn&#039;t have to wait a long time. Will be travelling to Leeds soon for business, so will definitely make a pit stop to Mumtaz when I&#039;m there!

Came here with a few friends after work. Did not expect it to be so good! I ordered the chicken wings, with a few seekh kebabs and keema paratha (I asked for a dash of lemon myself on the paratha and I kid you not when I say it was a taste that I remembered for a few days!)<br /><br />The interior and decor of the place is just so elegant as well, making you feel as if you are dining in Mayfair or elsewhere in central London. Would recommend this place to my family and other friends!!!!

business meals are brilliant here - set the atmosphere - get the deal done and then enjoy some good food and given the size of the place along with seating nicely seperated you can keep everything nice and quiet.

The restaurant is very large and offers great options for groups and solo. it has a great ambience and is something for a special treat or a quick bite.

I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars purely based on decor. if you want to impress friends from out of town this is the go to place and given they have reduced prices since feb 2019 there is literally no reason to go anywhere else!

I was asked to leave a review and I am more than happy to. the restaurant is a memorable and great for big group bookings. they are not tight on space or good and I really am happy chose to do group booking here.

He estado aquí para almorzar un par de veces desde que mi oficina se mudó al centro de la ciudad. Una excelente selección disponible y puedes tener un gran feed para menores de 5 años. Todo está muy bien cocinado y hay opciones frías y calientes disponibles. Estaré comiendo mucho aquí en el futuro, ya puedo decir.

He sido un visitante regular de este lugar durante años. Recomendado para un almuerzo decente durante su hora de almuerzo de obras. El personal es amable y puedes preparar una comida gratis con una tarjeta de fidelidad. Chili con carne y guisos muy recomendados. Lugar encantador!

The Market Deli was recommended to me and now I know why!

I've been a loyal customer of the Market Deli for many years, as have my family. My grandmother always took me in the Market as a kid and it's a place that brings back those memories when I visit.

Wandering in the market, we discovered this shop where we picked rolls for our lunch. It was so good that we decided to come back and buy some more for diner. People are kind and helpful.

I am so glad that the Market Deli has finally got itself in gear and created a Trip Advisor listing.

If you speak to most people that have eaten here they will sat same great settings food bit hit and miss I was here about 6 months and food was horrible but new years I went again and food was great much better much fresher even though samosa looked straight out of frozen bag so thus place can still do with further improvements overall especially the food standard but it&#039;s getting better

Food is ok nothing special, overpriced compared to other well known Indians. Was very disappointed you had to pay for pappadom and pickle tray as this is always complimentary at other places. best thing is that there is a children&#039;s menu but not a lot of choice on either.

I do always worry when Groupon Offers are on at restaurants.Our meal was disappointing,but having been there 2 yrs ago decided to give it a go.This also showed in the staff,vry slow and not vry pleasant.My £170 will b spent elsewhere in future.The wonderful pianist was the best part of the restaurant plus the decor
