Absolutely exceptional. Great setting, very relaxed experience with absolutely stunning food. Did not disappoint in any way shape or form. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a special meal to enjoy and would suggest you go as soon as you can! This is up there with the best restaurants in all of Norfolk, if not the UK.

This was the third time that we have dined at Marc Poynton's restaurant and it just keeps getting better. And it is a genuine TASTING menu, we were able to clean every drop from the 8 courses and we ended up justly replete. Every dish was explained as to what it contained and why each ingredient was selected. Our ration of sourdough loaf was soon mopping every trace of the juices from each plate. The progress was stately and well timed, our dinner lasted 3 hours and every table was full. Marc changes his selections at least once a month so we will be back for more. Thank you.

This was a five star experience in all aspects, with food as faultless as one might hope! Imaginative, visually stunning, and supremely delicious. Attentive service with Mark Poynton as master of ceremonies.I think it reasonable to suggest that Mark Poynton’s establishment ranks with Meadowsweet as being the two top culinary venues in East Anglia.

This was a special dining experience. A 6 course tasting menu explores every taste experience. An explosion of the 5 senses, sweet, sour, salt, bitter and umami. All for a very reasonable price. There is a flight of wines if you want it. The service is impeccable with every course explained and the pacing was just right. We will definitely be back.

My first time back for 6 years when Carorline still used to serve the "Naughty breakfast" in their old premises across the road. Now replaced by 3 others which includes the "Large breakfast "which is a feast. Consistent quality over three visits in a fortnight & a lovely warm welcome every time. Worth a trip all the way from Africa.
